Cet hotel est magnifique à l'intérieur, même si son apparence ne semble pas chic. Il faut absolument de faire un tour dans le Cloud 9 au soir. La vue de la ville et de la mer est merveilleuse. Juste un point insatisfaisant: l'insonorisation de l'hotel est tres faible. j'entendais souvent le bruit des portes voisines et le dernier matin vers 9h, il y avait du bruit de construction provenant de la chambre au dessus!

Le restaurant gastronomique de l'hôtel Diva at the Met vous propose une carte des vins de 600 vins différents. Ouvert matin, midi et soir, ce restaurant offre des plats de cuisine canadienne contemporaine, élaborés à partir de produits de la région, frais et de saison. Les spécialités du menu sont à base de saumon rouge, de morue charbonnière fumée de l'Alaska et de canard fumé à la cannelle. Le décor est élégant - le marbre et les oeuvres d'art y abondent - mais les clients y sont les bienvenus sans cérémonie.
L'hôtel dispose de ses propres installations récréatives et de santé, dont le centre de conditionnement physique, la piscine intérieure de 12 mètres et le bain à remous, et le personnel peut organiser des excursions à certains des plus beaux parcours de golf de la région, tels que les parcours Westwood Plateau et Furry Creek, tous deux accessibles par l'autoroute Sea-to-Sky. Nous avons été très agréablement surpris de cet Hotel par son accueil, de ses lieux et la courtoisie du personnel. Et que dire de la chambre, tout était parfait. Ce qui nous a marqués, ce sont, les petites attentions pour plaire aux clients. Nous avons profités de la piscine et du bain tourbillon, un endroit calme et relaxant . Un court séjour fort […] appréciable et très certainement à recommander. Situé près du port de Vancouver et à 25 minutes de marche du fameux parc Stanley. I am not one to write reviews, but given the service I received at the Metropolitan, I felt it was deserved here. I moved to the Metropolitan after a week of work at another high-end hotel, but the service I received at the Metropolitan surpassed the first place by far. The check-in personnel were attentive and friendly, each time I left or returned […] I was greeted warmly, and the night person happily let me into the garage when I returned in the wee hours with my zip car. I also accidentally left my ties in a drawer when I checked out, but the hotel quickly located them and mailed them to me, very carefully wrapped. "Cozy Spot Downtown"
Stayed at this hotel with my wife for the Canucks playoff game one. Booked fairly last minute but staff were VERY accommodating with our request for nicer TV to review postgame. An upgrade to one bdrm suite - recently renovated - very nice and on the upper floor for quiet. Staff very friendly but not pushy or in the way. Will definitely consider staying […] here again. Spent the weekend, check in & out service was top notch. Restaraunt and room service were too expensive, left the hotel for all meals and drinks. Excellent location - a lot of shopping and places to eat and drink. Would recommend this hotel.

Within walking distance to Vancouver Convention Centre and the waterfront. Great restaurants as well as familiar fast food places are very close. Don't forget to try Moose's Australian Pub just around two corners and down a flight. Shephard's pie and meatloaf to die for. REAL atmosphere with reasonable prices. I recently stayed in Metropolitan Hotel for two nights, one week apart while passing through Vancouver. The high customer service ratings on the web are correct. The staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. I would especially like to thank the lady at the concierge desk for going out of her way to help me book concert tickets. The location is excellent […] in the downtown area and close to a railway station for transportation to the airport. Room was nice and comfortable. great service in this stylish boutique hotel right in the heart of the action. wonderful pool and hot tub with glass window wall overlooking the city. only concern was the expensive parking.

The room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The staff were very helpful (valet parking, front desk, and bar staff), and we were able to keep our pet in our room for a small extra charge ($30 canadian). I was extremely pleased with the experience. Try the truffle oil/parmesean popcorn in the bar :)

Very pleased with our room. Service exceptional. All the staff were most welcoming and pleasant. Appreciated the full-size bath and separate shower. Most […] comfortable beds of our trip! Location was perfect for our first time in Vancouver. All the amenities, except microwave. Room service breakfast so-so, but that could be because the restaurant was closed for annual upgrade (we were there Jan 1-3). Overall, we had a most pleasant place to stay in a fabulous location. I really liked this hotel very much. The room was beautiful with a large bathroom and a large terrace. The staff was very helpful. We were there on New Years day, when much of downtown Vancouver is closed. The staff had prepared a list of the open restaurants in the area that we could go to. Rooms are "average"- TV's are old school. Room that was billed as "luxury" wasn't any different than a "Quality Inn". Which is FINE if you're paying Quality Inn prices. I did not! Staff is nice!

The Met is a no nonsense hotel that is great for business travel. Free wi-fi, good work-out facilities and affordable rates make this my go to stop for my frequent trips to Vancouver. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms updated. The concierge is trustworthy, as I left my macbook in my room and called from the airport. It was delivered via Fed-Ex […] the next am. The hawksworth restaurant at the Georgia Hotel next door is great for a meal and cocktail if you have time. The bartenders are fantastic. "Rude Front Desk"
I checked in very late and was exhausted. The last thing I wanted to encounter was a rude woman at the Front Desk. She has the warmth of an icicle. Even when I called the operator to ask a simple question I was given attitude/condescention on the phone. BUT, the gentleman that assisted me to my room was extremely pleasant. Friendly and helpful staff. Lobby was decorated for Christmas, nice. Televisions need an upgrade as well as program choices. Workout area is decent and steamroom is great.
