"Town inn suites Toronto - Juillet 2011"
"Town Inn Suites Toronto"

"Our stay"
Was good except for the elevator. Only one working for the entire stay. Took about 10 minutes to come.
"Enjoyed the stay"
The hotel was doing construction during our stay so mornings were noisy, even with that, this is a nice hotel at a good price. I like the convenience of having a kitchen (though we found it wasn't well stocked for cooking so if you want more then reheating this might be an issue)... Still, we were pleased overall.
"fine location at good price"
stay was fine except that all 3 lifts broke down at the same time and I had to walk up 17 flights.
"Good for price"
I was a bit nervous to stay here after I read the reviews but didn't need to worry. The building is older but clean and very comfortable. The elevator did not take very long to come, I think the longest I ever wanted (I stayed 4 days) was 5 minutes. The staff were always friendly. Great hotel for the price!!!
"Does not live up to expectations"
i rented this hotel because i wanted a hotel with a kitchen. The kitchen had almost nothing in it, so it was practically unusable. The staff were decent, but that was it. i felt like they did not really care about making customers happy. Plus, they were not very knowledgeable about most basic questions. On top f that there was construction going on […] the hotel which you do not know about until you show up and they don't even tell you at the desk. You find out from signs on the doors. Could be a great hotel, but is far, far from its potential. Lisez la suite
"Arrive Early to Clean Yourself"
Family arrived later in the evening to find hair balls around the room, bathroom a mess with soap scum and grime on walls and switches. Most of all surfaces and the refrigerator were clean. We ended up in a room that was not agreed upon, but once my wife cleaned the room herself we were comfortable to stay the rest of our trip. We had closet doors […] that were unable to slide, bulb in bathroom out, and the tv Lodgenet box was broken. Overall, the price was satisfactory for the location, and the hotel would be a lot better if the cleaning staff did a bit more than the top surface cleaning. Started off really rocky and disappointing but ended up being a good visit. Be very aware of what you are going to possibly be prepared for. Lisez la suite
"Parking fee"
bad: old hotel, not clean and parking fee good: spacious kitchen and table
"Town Inn Suites - great family, walk to center"
Great rooms for families, good value for money. Was over 1 mile from main attractions but very nice walk. Subway close by if needed. Rooms were clean and tidy but a little dated. There is work going on to upgrade things but this had not gotten to the room we had.
"Terrible stay"
The hotel was being renovated so it was torn up! We were not told of this prior to arrival. The carpet was dirty and stained and the pull out couch filthy! Would not recommend this place to anyone !!
"Town Inn Suites - Toronto, Ontario"
Nice place to stay, they are upgrading their elevators which caused one of them to be out of service which slowed use of them but overall I would have no problem recommending this property to anyone -- I will use it again.
"Townwith us Inn Suites - Great locationv"
The bad taste was left with us when we had to pay an additional $25. fee. I checked the web statedsite and it was as we stated. This is a scam.
"Hotel was OK"
This hotel was OK. Nothing special but the rate was good and the location was exactly right. I would think about using this hotel again if I were going to Toronto again. Regarding the condition of the hotel, I must add that they were doing work on the hotel when I was there. There were signs posted in the lobby apologizing for the noise, etc.
"Stay here all time"
I was impressed at first at getting the large corner suite - but - the windows in the bedroom didn't close properly, and cold air was coming in all night. There were no spare blankets in any of the closets to combat this. There was mold around the baseboards, and the tub was in disrepair. I normally enjoy the comfort of this hotel.
The initial room reserved was terrible old and out dated.Construction on the facade unable to use balcony.Changed rooms moderate decor.Still not impressed. Not finished product that I have become accustomed to when visiting Toronto.
"Town in Suits Toronto"
Outside the business district, badly maintained, price/performence very low, at least during conferences. Stay away.
"Town Inn Toronto"
The room grossed me out. I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was there. It smelled like smoke and was not very clean. I felt like I was staying in a dirty apartment that hadn't been cleaned in a while.
"Dirty, Poor Service, Painfully Slow Elevator"
The title says it all. I would not stay here again. I had a two bedroom suite on the 14th floor. On average, it took about 5 minutes to get to my suite because of the speed of the elevators. There were often only one (or occassionally no) elevator working, meaning there was often a crowded and long wait in the lobby or at the elevators on the room […] floor. As for the room, it did not appear that they had cleaned the dirt and dust from the floor of any of the cupboards/ drawers in the kitchenette for months. The dishes were also dirty - dried old food on them, etc. There was no heat control in the main bedroom. I like a cool room when I sleep - I was able to turn off the heat in the entire suite except the main bedroom, where the it kept pumping 24 hrs a day so the room was like a dry sauna. On a windy night (and there are quite a few in Toronto), the windows rattle. Light sleepers beware. Construction on the north face of the building commenced at 8 am each day. Luckily I was there for work so was already awake, but if I was hoping to enjoy some relaxing lie-ins on my vacation, I would have been upset. The TV was small and old, and I felt like I needed to lay a clean towel on the couch before I sat on it. The gym was a handful of outdated exercise machines that I suspect were purchased at a yardsale for 5 bucks. I ended up getting a week pass at a gym on Yonge street. The staff was not very helpful in addressing any concerns. Lisez la suite
WE had stayed in this hotel for five nights, it was ok the staff were friendly but always seemed so busy. The wait time for the elevators were long, sometimes over 10 min. The rooms are very out dated and not the cleenest i have ever stayed. The location was great for us becouse work was just around the corner.overe all it was ok!
"ick"
This hotel was unacceptably dirty and run-down, and we chose not to stay.
The hotel is going under renovations so there is a lot of noise during the day. The elevators are small and work was being done resulting in long waits and sometimes crowded rides. The floor we stayed on was a party floor, this rolled out into the hallway and eventually out to the street.
"Town Inn and Suites in Toronto"
Hotel is very conveniently located on Church St and about a 20 min walk from the Eatons Center on Young St. The set up of the room was fine with a kitchenette and 2 bedrooms, However, the room was not especially clean. I got the impression that it was not well cleaned and there was a lot of dust around. They are renovating the outside of the hotel so […] during working hours it was very noisy. They charge what I consider very high rates, for what they call high speed internet. It is very, very slow and there where times when it would just not work. When I complained they readily took it off my bill. The price I paid for this room was very reasonable for a hotel located in downtown Toronto. Lisez la suite
"Run-down, but spacious suite"
We had a big younger (late 20s)group stay here as an spacious economical choice, which it delivered. It was good enough, but I'd pay a bit more to stay somewhere else next time.
"great hotel, except for elevators"
this is a great place. the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. it's an incredible value. the only drawback is the elevators. they are slow and they don't have a service elevator so the staff uses them all day long. if you don't mind waiting five, ten, 15, sometimes 20 minutes for an elevator, this hotel is a good choice.
"Good value for downtown Toronto"
Well equipped, large comfortable kitchenette suite at a very reasonable price with a very friendly staff
"Home away from home"
This is my 2nd stay in 2 weeks, the hotel was the same standard of cleanliness and comfort I have come to expect, but I found the afternoon manager to be surly and unpleasant. Up until now I have always had courteous and happy desk service, but my stay was made uncomfortable by his obvious displeasure of me staying there. I love this hotel, and do not […] want to have an experience like that again. Lisez la suite

"Home away from home"
I love that this hotel is renovated apartment suites - makes me feel like I can relax and feel at home rather than being in a hotel room. Always feel safe when I am there. Elevators leave something to be desired, though there are 3+ there only ever seems to be one working, and SLOWLY. The bonus that it is in the immediate area for my work makes it great […] for staying somewhere inexpensive when I need to stay in town. Lisez la suite
"Town Inn - fine"
The accomodations were fine...it's an apartment more than a hotel. But, it was nice to have a living/dining/kitchen area. Bedrooms were cramped. In all - much better than expected...some online reviews were awful. Comfortable beds in cool, dark and quiet rooms led to a great night's sleep.

"Town Inn Suites - junior suite"
While the service was acceptable (i.e. front desk staff was communicative and polite), the actual condition of the hotel appeared a bit downtrodden. For example, the vent between the heating control in the living room into the bedroom, consisted of a gaping black hole in the wall which appeared dirty and was not covered by a grate. This seemed pretty […] unhygienic and I wondered what kind of dust I was breathing. Similarly in the bathroom, the tub had been repaired with putty of some sort, basically slopped on in a sloppy manner that my 4 and 6 year old didn't want to get into the tub because it looked "gross". We typically ask for a cot for one of my children at other mainstream hotels whenever we travel, and never have I been charged for one. At this hotel, the cost was shockingly high for a night! I would have paid it if it was a nominal charge for a night, but that is ridiculous. The man at the front desk actually sounded apologetic when he told me. Luckily I had a blow-up air mattress in the car. As well, the parking charges were very high and were depicted as "a daily rate" (i.e. you might assume you were paying for 24 hours of parking). In fact, they were only in effect from 3pm when I checked in until the time that I drove out in the morning which was at about 8:45a.m. I had not checked out of the hotel (checkout was 11), but when I drove back to the garage, thinking I would re-enter the parking lot and then load up the car I found that my pass no longer worked. Therefore, the parking charge(already high for Toronto) was only for a window of about 17 hours that I was actually parked there. Technically, I should have been able to return & park until I had officially checked out. The beds themselves were clean and presentable and the kitchenette and fridge were clean. So, I would not recommend this hotel as I have stayed in nicer suites. I don't expect high-end quality, but I expect an attention to detail & repairs. These were missing here. Lisez la suite
The location of the hotel is very good. The guies are helpful but the ladies no especially the old woman taff. So you need to put agood stuff & helpful. The cleaning is so bad. In addition, you need to reniew the bathrooms and the change the quality of the shampo.Aso you need to put some drinks in the lobby Thanks for asking about our opinion.
"Town Inn Suites is pretty good"
Loved the staff, it's close to everything - was even able to walk to the Eaton Center and gay village. They just need to remodel their rooms. They look old. Oh, and add a Tim Horton's in the lobby... LOL! But overall, I enjoyed my stay!
"The town inn suites"
it was great with being close to everything i needed but a few things in my room were not working.
"Town Inn Suites, Downtown Toronto"
This efficiency suites hotel is gradually renovating its floors. The elevators are slow. The staff, for the most part is very friendly and accomadating. The rooms are spacious with good views from the balcony. Downtown location very close to Yonge and Bloor allows convenient access to a plethora of food and shopping opportunities.

"Great Place to Stay"
Hotel staff are very friendly especially people at front desk. They are very helpful in telling you places to go and eat and things to do.
"Might have been nice 20 years ago"
But hasn't had a coat of paint or new carpet since then judging by the legacy of stains in the hallways and room. One word sums this hotel up nicely: Dump. If it's the only place left available, then maybe but otherwise....never again
"Great place for a single traveller"
Pretty nice place.. Its an apartment bldg. converted to a hotel.. so you typically get more than you pay for. I liked this place due to the fact that I got a one bedroom house with a great view for the price of a tiny hotel room elsewhere. The location makes it great and the price and service ... make it even better. Not your typical hotel... just […] a tad better :) Lisez la suite
"Town Inn Suites Toronto- excellent!"
Staff and service was excellent. Everyone was knowledgeable about the areas shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues. It was my friends birthday, we were upgraded to a corporate suite. It was an overall fantastic time! I will definitely return to this hotel.
"not the best"
outside and lobby are fine; but room was old and shabby. Broken hinges, carpet stuff under door to patio, overall carpet disgusting and room was smelly. Furniture very old and not very clean looking...we didn't sit on it.

"Town Inn Suites Toronto-Just Okay"
The staff was really nice and helpful. The "hotel" is in need of a major update i.e. paint, carpet, furniture, updated flat screen televisions, and thorough deep clean. I wore flip flops at all times when I had my shoes off and wiped down ALL the surfaces with Clorox wipes. I guess this is the proverbial "you get what you pay for." If you are not going […] to spend much time in your room other than sleep/shower, it will do. It is convenient to the subway. Lisez la suite
