Situé près de la gare principale, le Bankenviertel (quartier des banques) abrite les bureaux de nombreuses institutions financières, la plupart des hôtels de la ville et un petit quartier rouge sur Taunus Strasse. sa situation nous a permis de déposer nos bagages rapidement; l'accueil était sympathique, il y avait du thé et café à disposition gracieusement dans le hall d'entrée; le petit déjeuner offert était de grande qualité et variété; la propreté était bonne. la vue sur cour était moyenne et la salle de bains petite mais là n'était pas l'essentiel. Satisfait globalement, les points positifs sont le confort de la chambre (refaites récemment) donc contemporaine et bien équipée, la qualité du petit déjeuner, le personnel souriant et efficace, la proximité de la gare centrale et du Messe. "Hotel Ambassador Francfort"
L'hôtel est ancien (ça se voit surtout dans les chambres) mais propre malgré tout. Il vient d'être racheté par All Seasons. Bien situé à 10min à pied du centre, il est dans le quartié de la gare avec ses restau asiatiques et peep show. Déj classique mais correct. Personnel serviable. "Bare bones"
While the hotel and the sleeping room were functional, and clean, do not expect any luxury. The bed was reasonable and quite large by EU standards, the "desk" is integrated as a headboard. In my room, there was about 18 inches, if that, of space between the lip of the desk and the wall at the head of the bed and the desk space was just a little more […] than the size of a laptop. Plenty of power outlets and free wifi but kept having connection problems the last 3 days of stay. Breakfast was good for me, mostly cereals and breads with some cold cuts/cheeses and some fruit. We came in and found out that our room did not mesh with the information on the internet. The room next door was unoccupied and the desk was bigger than our room, we went downstairs to ask if we could switch since we were going to be there for 10 nights. The morning desk man said only if we paid an extra 25 Euro could we switch. We had already paid […] in full. We waited until the night shift person came in and he switched our rooms with no extra pay fee. Thank you Philip for your kindness. The breakfast buffet was tasty. The maids were great. "Great little hotel"
A good hotel located within 10 minutes of the city centre/river Main. The hotel was clean with friendly English speaking staff. Our room was kept clean everyday. The free breakfast choice was great, with a choice of breads, rolls, cakes, meats, cheeses, cereals, juices and warm drinks. Free wifi and air conditioning was also provided in our hotel room. Always nice to stay in a hotel that does not have the "chain" feel. Room was oddly shaped and quirky but quite functional. "Location is the biggest plus point"
I stayed at the All Seasons corner of same hotel. Review is of All Seasons. Nice pleasant hotel at the center of all frankfurt attractions but still away from the notorious red light area. This hotel has nice staff and a very descent breakfast. The only issue we saw was that the rooms were a bit small and dated. The doors for instance had to be really pressed hard to lock. This is now the All Seasons Hotel and is being refurbished. The location is close to the train station which is good but the overall area is not great. If you want to be near the Romerburg pay extra to stay in a nicer hotel. There are no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but you can get free tea/coffee/water in the reception lounge. Although […] there is free WiFi and an internet point in reception there is no printer so when we asked to print off our boarding passes we were told we had to go to a local internet cafe instead. The breakfast was very nice. Overall the hotel was fine for the few days we were there and the money we paid but next time I would pay more for a better location. This is a twin hotel sharing the same reception, lounge etc with the all seasons hotel - which is relatively new and looked like much better maintained. We were given a dirty room with torn curtains totally unacceptable - was able to change to one at the lower floor (much better) with AC etc. - that room was acceptable - still the stairs etc were dirty […] and the room was renovated but old. If you are a stickler stay at the all seasons - a few bucks more expensive. The location is very good - walking distance to everywhere and very close to the train station and the old town. It was a really nice stay, the front desk staff was VERY friendly and helpful a lot of places to eat around the area and maybe a 10 min walk to the train station, and YES the RED LIGHT DISTRICT is a 3 min walk around the corner, anyway the rooms were clean, the bathrooms were spot free, really the ONLY thing I didn't care for was the elevator, sometimes […] it worked sometime it didn't but they do have another one I WOULD stay there again. We took a taxi from the airport to the hotel it was about 30 euros but I know that could change depending on a number of reasons,the train back was about 3 euros and was a shorter trip.
