Enjoyed my visit. Neat and clean room. All I really needed for my short stay in Indy. Very nice lady was at the front desk, I think her name began with an "A". Had problems with the room key. Each time I wanted to go into my room, I had to go back to the front desk to have it reprogrammed. The hotel is connected to the convention center which is super convenient. The hotel is self was great and the addition of a free breakfast and happy hour makes it that much better!

The breakfast was excellent and the staff were always helpful.

Location is great for shopping and restaurants. Pool is misrepresented and way too small and both whirlpools were not working, also no light in dry sauna. My daughter wanted to swim, but we ended up leaving because the pool was so full. Average as far as Embassy goes, but definitely paying for a great location.

THE HOTEL WAS GREAT. THE ROOM WAS CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. THE HOTEL WAS CONNECTED TO THE MALL FOR SOME GREAT SHOPPING AND LOTS OF GREAT PLACES TO EAT. THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENLDLY AND ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN.

I was working in downtown Indy for a few days over my kid's Spring break. My husband came and stayed Wed-Fri w/ our 7 & 9 year old. We enjoyed the manager's reception each evening. Had a short walk to Rock Bottom for dinner 1 night and PF Changs the next. Kids swam in the pool after dinner and had a great time. I was disappointed to find both hot tubs […] closed for maintenance. Light in sauna was burned out but sauna was hot. One corner of the pool area was dim - 1 light was burned out. Breakfast buffet was very good. Kids went to Children's Museum 1day (2 miles away) Went next door to movie at the Regal next day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. You can't turn AC on during certain months of the year (April). There was quiet ceiling fan which circulated air in the main bedroom. The family room area got a tad stuffy. The bathroom had a noisy and fairly useless fan that tried clearing the warm steamy air from the shower. I was trying to get ready quietly to sneak out to work in the morning and let my husband and kids sleep in. I ended up leaving the door wide open and tried being quiet. The parking was $20 a day which we knew going in. We were able to come and go all 3 days and stay in the garage up to 6pm the day we checked out which was nice since checkout was at noon and we didn't leave the city till 5pm. Lisez la suite

Check in was at 4 our room wasn't ready till 5. Both hot tubs were out of order(which I didn't know about untill I got my swim suit on and went down stairs)stopper in the bath tub didn't work.

I have never been to a hotel where the hotel staff bent over backwards to make sure my entire family was happy our entire stay. We enjoyed the friendly atmosphere so much we stayed an extra night! We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Model - Nice rooms, great breakfast.

This hotel is in a great location in the center of Indianapolis. Parking is very convenient in the attached parking ramp. Great breakfast with made-to-order omelets. Connected to the shopping mall. Lots to visit in the immediate area.

The hotel, the room all were just wonderful, upscale and we were so thrilled.....until.....my Mom and I went to bed on the pull out sofa. I know what your saying, pull out sofa, what can you expect??? Well, I expect some stuffing in the mattress to help cover the springs. Seriously, there was only fabric that covered the springs so everytime you even […] slightly moved a spring jabbed you. Having my daughters 16th bday party in Indy was great idea and they had great time but my Mom and I didn't get one hour of sleep with that awful sofa bed. Well what can i say, After reading mixed reviews i was a little bit nerv, Arrived late fri evening to be greated at the check in was there about 2 mins and on to the room , opener the door yep i was happy so far, on for breakfast yep im happy again , went for walk arount with out even going outsite yep im still happy, open managers reception in the […] evening, and guess what im happy again, guess some people just want to find fault, i prop would have found them if i was bothered to go looking for them, Overall "Embassy keep it the way it is with breakfast and bar and you will have years of returns, Thanks Ste Lisez la suite

Four problems here; 1. You cannot adjust the room temp down in wintertime or up in summertime. It only heats in winter, if you have a hot day too bad. 2. Escalator is broken makes it a pain to get to front desk which leads to 3. You must climb up two flights to enter hotel and then two more to get to desk (when escalator is out) Difficult for some of […] us having knee etc problems. 4. Hotel staff is not too helpful. i.e. when you park at the hotel, they give you a special room key which also works in the garage. Before going down, I called to see how to get my car and they said just take the room key. This of course did not work because I took the wrong key. The front desk just said take the key, she did not mention that I needed the "special" key. Other than that, the rooms are ok and a good value for the money. Lisez la suite

i did like the room placement asked to be moved to another room and they wouldnt. had me infront of elevator thats the main thing i didnt like explained that and they said they wouldnt move me

First off, the location is perfect, staff were friendly and helpful and the room was spacious and laid out nice. The present day Embassy Suites is not what it used to be though. During our stay, we had a difficult time finding parking in the hotel designated area, especially for $20. None of the escalators were working and the lower level elevators […] were not operable. The real issue was w/our room. We reserved a NON SMOKING room. Upon entering, we smelled cigarette smoke. The room was freezing because the bedroom window was open and there were ashes along the ledge. We called downstairs and they sent up someone to spray Febreeze. That worked for a while but when we returned a few hours later, the smell had overtaken the room again. We also found that the shower curtain was ripped in 2 places. I guess my point is that if the cleaning crew had done a thorough job, the window would have been closed, the ashes wiped off and curtain replaced or repaired. Our stay was "OK". Love the location, the area and the people. Just please bring back the Embassy of the past if you want to stay a premier hotel. Lisez la suite

This is a great hotel for the price. The breakfast was very good with a nice selection. Once the construction is complete, it will be a top notch hotel.

The room was not completely clean when we arrived there. The kitchenette had some sort of sticky substance sprayed all over the coffee maker, ice bucket and condiment case. I found under the bedroom sink, a box full of empty beer cans, bottles and empty alcohol boxes, with are receipt dated 1 month prior to our stay. Not impressed at all.

Escalators were broken for two days and only access to rooms from street level was very sketchy freight elevator down strange hallways. I was on crutches and luckily had friends helping me. But as a woman traveling alone, I would have been very uneasy with lack of staff at "receiving" areas and strange locations of entry/egress.

This hotel was very nice, for the price I would have expected a larger pool and newer hot tub but it was nice. Location is AWESOME, that is really what you pay for. - Connected to the Mall and shops and resturants everywhere! However- you must pay for parking, you must pay for BASIC CABLE, no TV is free except previews! and worst of all NO FREE WIFI!!!!! […] I said to myself, What??? no wifi??? everyone has free WIFI nowadays!!! Okay, this is by far 100% better than I imagined after reading all the negative reviews prior to staying. The hotel admits it did renovate rooms recently and are updating the hotel. This is in a older building, in the heart of downtown which should be a positive to visitors, as it was for us! You are connected to the mall and can come out at various […] streets around the block. If you know Indy, you will know this isn't a horrible location at all! The parking isn't as crazy as some have reviewed either. It's $20 to park with unlimited in and out privileges, (check out the other hotel parking and you will see they are cheaper if not comparable.) Nothing parking wise in Indy is really going to be free. The parking isn't hard to figure out either, when you come off Illinois, onto Washington it is on your immediate right. Washington is a one way street and you will see what looks like a dark tunnel with the Embassy sign hanging above it. The entrance door to the hotel is on the right, the parking is to the left. When you check in ask for parking, they will put a sticker on your room card and add the expense to your room bill, if you'd prefer. Internet isn't free but they do have a business center downstairs with free access and a printer. When I arrived I asked for an updated room and received one on the 10th floor. The view granted wasn't excellent from my room, but this really isn't the hotel's fault that other buildings are surrounding it! If you want a view, ask, they will accommodate you. The room was beyond clean, had new furniture, new counter tops, new appliances and a very comfortable king bed. The heating and cooling situation is yet again typical for an older building in Indy. The bedroom did have a ceiling fan to add an airflow. The bathroom is narrow and on the smaller size, but that is why an added vanity is supplied directly across from the bathroom. This was a disappointing visit. We attempted to check-in early which was not possible because the rooms were not ready. We were told check-in time was at 4pm and we should come back then. This was no problem because we knew we were early. However, at 4pm, the rooms were STILL not ready. We were told to come back at 6pm. So we stalled for time...again. […] At 6pm we returned to the desk only to find that the rooms were STILL NOT READY. The staff continued to apologize in an insincere manner and kept telling us they were very busy because of the New Year's holiday. It was difficult for us to understand why a hotel with 15 floors did not expect to have a daily turnover of guests and that they did not have the staff to handle the room turnover. We did not get into our rooms until 6:45pm AFTER I requested to speak to the manager. They provided us some "token" apology drink coupons and appetizers in the restaurant, but losing 3 hours of our New Year's eve with friends we met from out-of-town was VERY inconvenient. If check-in is at 4pm guests should be able to check in at 4pm. This hotel will have drastic troubles when the 2012 Super Bowl traffic hits next month! This is going to be my husband & I's hotel of choice from now on when we stay in Indy. 2 Jacuzzi's, Nice warm pool, connected to Mall. Great price! Really nice!

I was hoping for a magical weekend but the hotel was not quite what I imagined. They are renovating and the dust and the fumes were all coming to our room. The 3 of us all have really bad allergies and asthma and the two combined set us off to have a horrendous day. On top of that there was someone elses food trash under my bed along the edge. Also […] our window kept popping itself open. The lock would not work for me. I have to say management was very apoligetic and they tried to take care of the problems and make things right. Not bad.

Love, love, love the location and convenience to shopping, restaurants and events. HOWEVER, our room was incredibly hot! We were told that the A/C is off now and only "heat" is available! So we slept with our window open and they brought us a box fan for our room. It was an awful night-did not sleep well at all. Staff was awesome and tried to do everything […] they could. Broken door (glass) going inside the hotel. Cold inside lobby, not comfortable. The door to my room was not secure (felt like it didn't want to lock) old hotel/dark. Staff very nice.

Atmosphere wonderful, hard to get to location with the new road lanes. Room, small...manager's reception and breakfast are wonderful. Even with the HS footbal teams/ Panther/Colts fans, breakfast was not to overwhelming. Well staffed and knowledgeable.

Our family stayed one night at the Embassy Suites. We went to Indianapolis to visit the Children's Museum and the Rhythm Discovery Center (both wonderful!) on our way to Chicago. It was uncomfortably warm in our room, and from November through late spring only the heat can be used in the suites (per the sign beside the thermostat). No one offered ANY […] help to us with luggage, and the way the hotel is situated, getting luggage from the parking level to the lobby level is not an easy task. Unless one wants to carry luggage up two flights of stairs (which can be nearly impossible--especially with children in tow), one must use a hidden staff elevator that smelled terribly! The escalators were broken during our stay, but even if they had been working, one is not supposed to use them with luggage. Access to the parking garage was confusing. The positives were: comfortable bed, complementary breakfast, the building is connected to a mall, the Rhythm Discovery Center, and various restaurants, etc.. However, the overall impression of this hotel was not positive enough to bring us back here in the future. Lisez la suite

Went for a concert at the Murat Old National Theatre . Less than a mile walk . To sum up the room in 1 word AWESOME !
