Motel classique très pratique car près de l'aéroport. Bien situé également pour visiter les différents centres d'intérêt de Phoenix (c'est vraiment grand) et directement sur la route qui va à l'Apache trail. Piscine sympathique.

nous sommes restés une seule nuit dans cette hôtel, entre l’atterrissage de notre avion et notre départ pour les canyons du nord de l'AZ. les chambres sont confortables (wifi inutilisable quand nous y étions, pas de chance), le personnel est agréable, les chambres sont propres. possibilité de réserver une navette pour aller/revenir de l'aéroport gratuitement, le chauffeur était très sympa. hôtel assez éloigné de tout, le métro de la ville est à 15min à pied, il permet de se rentre au centre simplement. vu le prix, cet hotel nous a entièrement comblé.

Chambre bien décorée et grande. Lit confortable. Situé à 10 min en voiture de l'aéroport, à coté de l'autoroute, et à une sortie du mall tempe market place. Petit déjeuner gratuit et complet. On n'entend pas les avions de l'hôtel. Très bien.

A 10 minutes de l'aéroport, quartier sans restaurants (voiture indispensable), excellent rapport qualité prix pour une première ou dernière nuit mais pas un long séjour. Personnel très aimable, sur demande ils ont un pesons pour les bagages.

Enjoyed the stay... will stay again!
Pleasantly surprised... Great price and old school comfort. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful... So enjoyed getting up early and having coffee by the pool and watching the quail, bunnies and desert doves. Definitely will be staying here again.:)

"Very nice and comfortable."
As a matter of fact, I did not want to leave. The lunch at the poolside grill was filling and very delicious - fish tacos was our choice. We really enjoyed the atmosphere with the large pool and the jacuzzi nearby. Lots of green around. the apts/suites. It was a charming casita. The interior was suiting to the exterior architecture. We really enjoyed our stay. I would recommend cottonwood resorts to anyone wanting to enjoy a taste of Old Town Scottsdale.

The location is perfect. Near great restaurants and shopping. We stayed in a regular King room and the look was similar to a cabin look. I was expecting a more modern room, but it wasn't. TV was a bit old too. I had read that the beds were really comfortable, but ours was definitely nothing to write home about. Not uncomfortable, but not a nice pillow […] top that I was expecting. "Not a Resort at all- Very Disappointing"
Scottsdale Cottonwood Resort is in no way a resort. I would classify the facilities as a low end hotel. The resort fee itself is insulting as the amenities are not worthy of use, much less to pay to not use. The tennis court has torn nets, cracks, the pool bar was a little scary with terrible service, and the complimentary appetizer upon arrival was […] a plastic container of tortilla chips with a small ramekin of salsa that was half tossed at us. The lobby looks like something you would find at a motel and the "premiere suite" itself has plastic lawn chairs and a hole in the ground where a hot tub may have been located years ago. I was extremely disappointed, especially after having spent the previous two nights at and a fabulous resort/conferece for the same price (they were sold out for our third night unfortunately). I highly recommend against staying at this location unless you are simply looking for somewhere to lay your head and and do not mind throwing your money away. Lisez la suite

I loved my stay at the resort. Wonderful grounds and location. Reservations were easy and the food and service was top notch. But... the rooms are in need of a freshening. Carpets and paint are in need of replacement. I rated the experience a 5 because everything else was top notch.

Hotel is not the newest but it was a lot of fun especailly if you have children 5-18 years of age. There are plenty for them to do. very relaxing and fun setting!

Conveniently located close to downtown Scottsdale, it is tucked back off Scottsdale Rd in a lovely, secluded and peaceful location. It's still in close proximity to good restaurants and shopping.

"Cottonwoods Resort Scottsdale - avoid this resort"
This resort deserves 1 1/2 stars at most. We have stayed at several Scottsdale resorts. From the time we checked in we knew we had made a mistake this time. But first, the (very few) positives; the location is excellent, it is very quiet and the grounds are attractive, although they need work. Now the negatives; lobby floors near the doors were cracked […] and not very clean. Check-in staff was friendly, but charged our credit card with a "deposit" even though the room was pre-paid. The door to the room was scratched and dented. Inside, the carpet was stained and the bathroom was in bad need of an update, heavy clean and paint. The sheets and duvet cover were grayish and the duvet itself was yellowed. There was an unpleasant, musty smell to the room. The television was small, old and the remote control didn't work. Wires were hanging down from the outside light on the patio. The patio itself did not appear to have been swept or cleaned in some time and had dust and bird waste on the floor and table. One of the doors had a gap between the bottom of the door and the floor which would allow insects to enter. In short, the negatives far outweight the positives and we would not return to this resort. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was due for a facelift. Had to sign for a suprise $15.00 resort fee on top of room rate, taxes, and other fees.

"Friendly Service, nice accommodations, good prices"
Great convenient location near lots of shops and restaurants. Clean room and friendly service. Super comfortable bed and quiet room. I saw someone else mentioned in their review the rooms needing updating like the old tvs, etc but that's not that big of a deal to me b/c the room was clean and comfortable. Only negative was the $15 resort fee for the […] internet and other misc things like water bottles in the room. Those are usually things I think should be included but still not a big deal. "Seclusion and Sanctuary"
This resort is tucked back away from busy Scottsdale Road so you feel like you are away from the city, but restaurants and shopping are within walking distance so you have the best of both worlds. The grounds are beautiful and have wonderful surprises such as hammocks and trails. The rooms are comfortable but aged. We were excited to see a fireplace […] in the room but only one log left us feeling let down. There was also an awesome 2 person jacuzzi on the patio, but it was full of leaves and not water, so again we were disappointed. Finally, the kitchen had a stove, fireplace and mini fridge. We thought about making a romantic dinner, but there were no cookware, utensils or dishes to use so we went out to eat. Where should I begin? The rooms were tiny and dingy (the towels were grey, not white!). The pillows were like cottonballs. The place was definately more like a motel than a resort. I was disappointed in our room. I booked our suite at Cottonwoods because I needed to sleep 7 people in the room. I went on Hotels.com and the room said it slept 8. I was pleased that I would have enough room for everyone to be comfortable. We arrived and there was 1 king bed and 1 pull out couch. I had 3 people that had to sleep on the floor.

The suites are over the top charming! Plenty of light, great bedroom with patio and front patio as well. Furniture was understated and comfortable with separate living room. I rented the room for a friend and even though I live here I would stay there just for the accommodations and the serenity of the grounds. Karen
"Cottonwood spa resort - is a rip off"
Extremely disappointed. I have stayed at Motel 6's that were cleaner than this room. The toilet slid back and forth on the floor, the toilet seat was loose as well. The bathroom had had water damage. Even though I complained they didn't seem to be interested in fixing the toilet. It was not safe. In the morning I noticed water coming in the front door. […] I opened it and the sprinkler system gave me a shower. They also wanted to charge an extra $15 for what they call spa services over and above the already very expensive room rate. "Cottonwoods Resort"
i checked in in the evening, upon checking in, the front desk staff were talking about another employee. she checked me into my room and such and as i got to my room, i noticed my key card wasn't working. i had tried several times to get the door to open, and then a guest came to the door and said "what are you trying to do? my wife and i are asleep!" […] so i immediately called the front desk and she said that she'd send a bellman to take me to my room. i waited in 45 degree weather for 12 minutes, before making the decision to walk all the way back to the main office. when i had walked in, there was a woman there talking on the phone with someone that obviously wasn't a customer. then, i told her what had happened and as i finished telling her, she just laughed and didn't apologize, she moved my room and i walked all the way back to my suite. "good location, outdated and poor service"
My room was spacious with a comfortable bed but in bad need of updating. The staff was friendly but unable to deal with requests. Our toilet ran all night and started leaking in the AM. We called 2 times and when we came back 7 hours later our room was flooded. We could not use the toilet had to wade in toilet water to take a shower and spent an hour […] packing to move to a different room and unpack again for one night. Send someone out when we first called and its was all avoided. I would not recommend this as the price is good but there is a reason it is good. Lisez la suite
"Scottsdale cottonwood resort in Scottsdale, AZ"
Went to Arizona for a weekend get away stay for two nights. Very beautiful and peaceful. Room was very well kept and the room clean up was great. ohh the beds in the room were so comfortable. I passed out soon as I hit the bed, slept like a baby. Would recommend this resort to anyone traveling with children.
Needs upgrading very outdated for the price
Really enjoyed our stay there. Wish we could have had more time. Can't complain about anything!

I was disappointed that the supposedly heated pool was very cold. My son and I were hoping to take a swim while we were there, but when we got there and put our feet in, it was quite cold. The office staff simply said they would tell maintenance the next day. We were only there one night, so this didn't help us!

Pubic and long black hair in the bathtub that had patches all over it because it is so old. Room smelt musty of cigarrettes. The TV is circa 1990. Toilet ran all night.. had to shut water off. Toilet seat broke. The $15 "resort" fee.... ahhh WHAT resort? Great location.. come on investors, wise up and renovate or sell to someone who has some pride of […] ownership. The Cottonwoods is a great, old property that is perfectly located and offers large rooms for a reasonable price. However, it needs lots of attention. Light bulbs were burned out, the towels were threadbare and the hot tubs were under repair. "Scottsdale Cottonwoods Resort- LOVE IT!"
I absolutely love staying at this resort. The rooms are always very clean and the beds make it feel like you're sleeping on a cloud. Outside the grassy area is perfect for letting your kids run around safely. The location is perfect. Close to a CVS, lots of restaurants nearby, and shopping locations also. I would definitely recommend this place

It was a nice place to spend a weekend and get away. The layout not being just one big building but several small complexes is a nice change. I will be back the next time I come through Phoenix.

"WARNING"
FIRST ROOM HAD NO HEAT. TOOK FOREVER TO GET ANOTHER ROOM AND THEY TOLD US WHEN WE CHECK IN THEY HAD NO KING BEDS. SECOND ROOM HAD A KING BED? WHAT WAS THE EXTRA CHARGE ONLINE AND THEN AN EXTRA RESORT CHARGE AT THE HOTEL AND ALL OTHER HOTELS IN SCOTTSDALE HAVE A BREAKFAST... DO NOT STAY THERE. looks like it was nice in the 1950's

"Scottsdale Cottonwood"
The staff was very helpful, though I didn't need much. It's clean, but very dated in a time bubble, but for the new retail adjacent. But the units haven't been upgraded since the disco era. I had a casita unit that was nice, but it was a 200 yard walk from the closest parking spot, so I got a lot of exercise the first night bringing my bags to the room. […] Kitchen had no utensils or anything to eat with, so had to walk to the front desk for plastic set. I figure I walked a mile the first night and it was cold, but good exercise nonetheless. Nice place if you like the style and don't expect a lot of amenities. But for the price, other newer hotels in the area would probably be a better deal. Few rooms available due to Barrett-Jackson auction, so this worked out for a short business trip. Lisez la suite
