Un motel typique. Très bien... pour une nuit d'étape, pas de surprises :) Accès pratique à l'autoroute (juste à côté) et prix défiant toute concurrence :)

Un très bon hôtel, chambre luxueuse (même si la literie n'était pas excellente: lit trop mou), un bar terrasse superbe avec très jolie vue sur la ville. Des alentours sympas avec une vie nocturne, restos, bars... Par contre loin de la grande arche (20mn) Bonne ambiance, personnel charmant.
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.

We stayed here prior to flying out from Lambert. The staff was great. The hotel had a very fun vibe. The kids loved it.

No breakfast, I,ve never been to a hotel at this cost and not had breakfast. Also high phone rate, 2min phone call. Has very small rooms.

"Hotel stay"
I have never been to St. Louis before and found it was a little far for downtown. The hotel seemed fine and the prepaid breakfast was great with our kids.
"Nickeled and Dimed"
The base price of the hotel seemed great, and then we found out what was not included: breakfast, parking, wifi in room (free in the lobby), local telephone calls (charged a dollar). The room had no typical "Our services and extras" pamphlet, so we were operating completely in the dark as to hidden charges. Due to its proximity to the airport, we stayed […] at the same time as multiple conventions. However, there was no airplane noise. We had requested a room with 2 queen beds and were told on arrival that only single kings were available. A separate bed then had to be brought up for our child. The staff was wonderful but the hotel needs some work. The pool didn't have enough seating for the parents that weren't swimming. Also, the beds were very uncomfortable and the walls didn't keep the noise out. We had to call and complain 3 times during the late night (1-2-3am) about the neighbors slamming doors, screaming in the halls, etc. The staff […] was very courteous but I wouldn't stay here again. Not to far from everywhere. Did not like the neighborhood much. I may try downtown next time. Staff was fantastic. Was not pleased with hotels.com salesperson. The hotel was under construction. There was no mention the dining room had been moved to one of the conference room. I would have picked another hotel if this information had been available.
"Our Stay At The Renaissance In St. Louis"
My wife and I were extremely happy with the accomadations at the hotel. Everything was so clean and the hotel was Quiet and on New Years eve at that.Our receptionist Gabby, was very helpful in everything we asked of her. She did a wounderful job and we thank her for it.

The bell staff are attentive and the restaurant is excellent...but if the front desk could certainly stand to take a lesson or two. I waited 20 minutes to check-in and 15 minutes to check out. In the early morning hours (430am to 6am) expect that the staff are comfortable leaving the front desk completely unattended...not conducive to a location in […] such close proximity to the airport. I wasn't careful in checking that this hotel had free wifi. It didn't, which I find very annorying. Being asked to pay $12.95 per day for wifi is not sustainable.

I USED THIS HOTEL TO STAY AT FOR THE WORLD SERIES IN STL LAST WEEK. ALL THE HOTELS IN DOWNTOWN WERE SOLD OUT, VERY NICE HOTEL TO STAY AT. PEOPLE VERY FRIENDLY, ECT.... GREAT DEAL
"Class Reunion"
Everything was nice as I attended a class reunion. The food was very good and the staff very attentive. There were two things that did bother me: Sunday breakfast buffet was over at 11am which is very early for a Sunday.My classmates and I were very dissapointed. Very convenient location. Our room deal included buffet breakfast which was really good. Did not like that there was a charge for Wi Fi. Not sure why the better chains do that. Very clean pool but, jacuzzi temp was too hot. Overall, very nice hotel.

my sink plunger was broken- so i had to reach under the sink both in the evening and again in the morning. It is about a 5 minute ride from the airport.... my room had a connecting room- so i could hear the entire converstation that my neighbor had. also, the hotel was the hosting a convention group - so it was busy and the noise fromt he hallways seeped […] into the room... at check in- there was one people working the counter who was directing a group of 6 conventioners to a local attraction- i waited until anither receptionist appeared- she started to help me but then accepted a phone call to help someone already in their room- other hotels would have put the caller on hold to finish with the check in- it was lacking professionalism. "Nice Hotel"
My staly was pretty close to perfect. About the only thing I can say was the small surprise that parking is a separate charge per day.
"Be sure sheets fit the bed!"
The hotel is clean, the staff polite and the location very convenient. The shuttle service was great. It would take you to the metro stop, to a couple of restaurants and to the airport. However, I lost a night of sleep for a problem I can't believe exists in a hotel of this caliber. The sheets don't fit the bed. They are too short. So they pop off […] or the mattress pad rolls up around you or, worst of all, you may wake up sleeping on the bare mattress--not what you want in a hotel bed. I asked that they change the sheets and they were very apologetic, saying that this has been an issue for them. When I came back to the room, these sheets also did not fit over the corners of the bed! This time I called the manager, who was very nice about it, and they got a bottom sheet that actually reached the corners of the bed. So I was able to sleep the second night. The first night was horrible, however. Another issue that I think Marriot should correct is that you are welcomed to the room with a bottle of water with a prominent pricetag of $4.00. This is not an economy hotel. I think they could spring for a bottle of water for a guest. If not, at least set a reasonable price. $1.50 would already be at least a 300% mark-up. Charging $4.00 for a smallish bottle of water is letting you know that they don't mind exploiting their customers for all they are worth. It's about a 1000% mark up. That is not a message a hotel like this should send. You also have to pay about $13.00 per day for wifi. That's a little too much, I think. In short, the hotel is convenient, the staff is polite and professional and the shuttle service is good. The rooms are also very clean. But no guest should spend a night like I did because the sheets don't fit the bed and wad up under you. There is just no excuse for that. A good night of sleep is the top priority of a guest. This hotel was everything I thought it would be. The bellhops were courteous, the front desk clerks were helpful and the housekeepers were prompt and nice. While we found this hotel to be gorgeous and very comfortable I don't think it was worth the price. You had to pay to park on top of the high daily rate, and the parking gates were not working and locked us in during our stay. We stayed 2 nights and found the hotel clean and comfortable. Because it is located close to the airport it is not close to many other St. Louis attractions but for the quality and price it was still well worth it. Would certainly stay again.
"Stay at the Renaissance."
My daughter and I stayed at this hotel in order to attend a baseball game in town. We chose the Renaissance because it was near the Metrolink line. Once we checked in, we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was immaculate and comfy, and the view was great. The concierge/doorman (whose name I don't remember) was fabulous at his job, making sure […] that we got on the shuttle to the airport/Metrolink station in time for the game. The hot tub and pools were great, if a bit crowded (it was 100 degrees). We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, and the food was prepared to perfection (I recommend the pork chop), although it took some time before we could attract a member of the wait staff and place our order. You cannot beat the location and amenities of this hotel, especially for the price (about the same or less than nearby hotels). I'll stay here again and again. Lisez la suite

The hotel I stayed at was great, stayed there before upon arriving I wished that my room wasn't at the end of the hall. I have difficulty walking, I wish they offered a continental breakfast of some sort because I had children with me. I'm thankful that there was a restaurant across the way that we could go to with reasonable prices. "EXTRA CHARGES!"
This hotel is very nice, however, they charge extra for EVERYTHING! $10 a night for a parking space! $4 for a bottle of water! NO FREE WI-FI IN THE ROOM. $13 for 24 hrs of internet. Are you kidding? For the price of the room, there should be gracious additions like most ALL other hotels.
