Pour nous c'était le luxe! L'hotel est une succession de grandes maisons de 3 niveaux, chacun ayant sa terrasse privée avec vue sur le Golf et la végétation tropicale. Un vrai appartement décoré comme dans les magazines (entrée, cuisine américaine électro kitchen aid, grand salon)la baie vitrée donne accès à la terrasse privée. 2 salles de bain (tous les produits sont fournis:dentifrice gel douche shampoing après shampoing et lait hydratant) et une immense chambre. La piscine à côté de la réception est grande avec de multiples chaises longues et jacuzzi(les serviettes sont fournies). Le restaurant de l'hotel est très bon, le menu enfant est très bien).Le Spa et la salle de sport en haut de la réception sont très luxueux. Attention cependant, nous sommes à 20 min en voiture de Miami beach, et à côté de l'aéroport (mais on n'entend pas du tout les avions)

Satisfait de tout, sauf peut être de la superficie de la chambre et du lit, qui sont vraiment minuscules

NE PAS SE FIER AUX COMMENTAIRES PRECEDENTS l'hotel est génial les réceptionistes super accueillant et qui parlent francais (1sur3). Les chambres sont spacieuses et tres bien equipées. Les 2 jaccuzis sont au top! Certes il y a une taxe de séjours de 60$ non mentionnées mais a part sa tout était parfait. Hotel tres bien situé a 50 metres des bars et en meme temps l endroit est calme. Seul Hic des vacances lorsque vous louez une voiture bien faire attention au stationnement on ne peut quasiment se garer nul part les parcmètres proposent une durée de stationnement courte et si vous dépassez de 2min vous avez une amende a 90% je parle en connaissance de cause..(18$ a regler sous 1 semaine sinon 48$) des parkings payant et surveillés sont proposés mais 30$ minimum la journée...les fourrieres tournent 24h/24 et la facture s'élève a 300$ prenez garde! Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

De nombreuses attractions du centre-ville sont concentrées autour de Riverwalk, principal quartier culturel, commerçant et de loisirs de Fort Lauderdale. Hôtel de pur style américain avec sa décoration à fleurs, complétement dépassé si vous recherchez du design. Néanmoins le service est bon, le confort est bon , les chambres spacieuses. Très bien situé en ville sur Las Olas. Super équipé, tous services disponibles, personnel très efficace, garage pas cher. Loin de la plage.

My sister and I were traveling together and checked to make sure we could get a room with two beds. With no fanfare, we were upgraded to the best room in the place -- high floor, southeast corner, balcony overlooking the river, the yachts, long view to ocean. Spectacular. We had a great time.

"Original Room was a hellhole"
Having stayed in low-end hotels without a problem, I called the front desk once I saw my original room to get a new one. For an additional charge, I was moved to the refurbished area of the hotel and a decent room. The first room and the floor it was on was a disgrace. The room was dingy and disgusting and the floor dank and depressing. I shouldn't […] have had to pay an additional charge to get a decent room, particularly as the original fee was not cheap. "nice but not nice"
Great location but the rooms are tired and dated; comforters are disgusting, housekeeping is non-existent and trays of room service food left in the hallways for days at a time. I love the location and have stayed here before but they need to pick up their game for the nightly rate they are charging.

Stayed in an executive tower room, with balcony. Large room, great view. Hotel is above restaurants and shops and short walk from the riverside and quiet.

Overal Hotel and stay were good. However, need better bellman service. Call for help with luggage around 6:30 am. Told no one on duty unitl 7:00 am. Went down to get cart, fortunately found bellman who had gotten in early and was able to help. Note, have torn rotator cuff so really didn't need to be lifting luggge. Similary, need to improve front desk. […] Went down to check out. Was told by gal at desk with her boss standing there that checkout was automatic. Turned in card and left. The hotel was in reasonable condition, We were a little disappointed at first as we had no view from our room and I couldn't,t see the river. We came from a cruise ship and we were pleased to get an earlier check in about 12ish. We also had a late checkout but that cost was 75 dollars plus taxes! The towels in the room were large and fluffy and lots […] of them. The restaurant was very popular as was the location with a lot of non resident customers making it difficult to get a good table. It was quite cold one morning and the buffet breakfast was cold even on the 3rd attempt of trying to get warm. All the staff were polite and Helpful. "Great Location"
This hotel staff is very warm and welcoming. My husband and I only stayed for a day and half for business, but enjoyed our short stay at Riverside. Clean, large rooms, and smack dab in the middle of all shops, restaurants, gym, etc. We got a great deal and will be staying there next year as well.
For the younger crowd not seniors. Rooms clean but sparse

Great non-beach location on Las Olas Blvd. Close to cafes, great boutique shopping and people watching. Good location for Business travel. Nice alternative to typical generic chain hotels or airport locations, this historic 1930's hotel has been well maintained and renovated. This hotel is very conveniently located, but sadly in need of a major facelift. We were in the "Tower" which was supposedly redone, but it had an analog TV (aka fuzzy picture and SLOW) and very few of the nicer amenities we have come to expect when traveling. Riverside Hotel has an unsurpassed location to enjoy downtown Ft Lauderdale. Its also within walking distance of museums. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and the place had an aura of old world class. "Great hotel after a fun night in fort lauderdale"
The service was impeccable, the room was comfortable and had a great balcony . Great upgrades for not so much money !! Only annoying thing was parking , you would think they would have free parking but it was over 20 dollars ! Probably because it was such a hot spot , it was worth the money though.

"Excellent - pity about the air con"
This hotel is excellent, the location is great, the room comfortable and the staff first class. Unfortunately the air conditioning in our room was awful. Reporting it was met with - do you want to change rooms - after a 28 hour journey and having unpacked, we didn't. Several attempts to resolve the problem were unsuccessful, a pity!

The Riverside Hotel is located on Las Olas in Ft. Lauderdale and right in the heart of the best dining in town. There are so many options within walking distance. The hotel is an older hotel, but has all the charm of an old world hotel where they remember your name when you check in and the staff greets you by name. Really a unique experience from most […] hotels. The hotel rooms might be a little dated, but this could also be considered part of the charm. The only negative that I find with the hotel is the room air conditioners can be a little noisy and if you are a light sleeper, like I am, bring ear plugs. "Excellent! We felt like family!"
Judging by the photos of the hotel on line, we thought we chose a decent hotel. However, our stay was so much more than just 'decent.' Every staff member we encountered was very pleasant, very helpful and always eager to please. The restaurant, Indigo, has not only amazing food - we ate there 3 nights in a row - but the staff is equally just over the […] top! Everyone knew us by name - and always greeted up with a smile, even the entertainer they had over the weekend would look and say, "how are my Dallas girls today?" There are so many who made us feel like family. Hugs were given all around when it was time for us to depart. Additionally, we have several friends who live in FTL, they all commented what a great reputation the hotel had, how beautiful it was, and they, too experienced the amazing staff. Overall we couldn't have picked a better place to stay! We will DEFINITELY be back and will recommend to ALL we know headed to the area! I've been travelling to South Florida for work for 7 years, and the Riverside Hotel is definitely one of my favorite places to stay. The hotel is located on historic Las Olas Blvd. and there is a multitude of wonderful restaurants and bars within walking distance. If you're in town for business, I definitely recommend!
