Sandman Suites Vancouver on Davie - Vancouver

Situé dans la rue gay,le quartier est animé et sympa.les chambres sont de véritables studios supers équipés ( Il y a même une machine à laver et sécher le linge) Idéal à plusieurs ou en famille. Au 3 ème étage piscine extérieure chauffée à 28°C et grande salle de fitness. Génial !

Position centrale et proche de nombreuses activités.

We were 3 friends having a fun Vancouver getaway, and it worked out really well with this hotel. The suite was a little tight, esp. the bathroom, and we had to ask for an extra set of towels each day because the bathroom only had room for 2 sets -- why they didn't just look on their list and put another set on the counter, I don't know! Silly thing […] to complain about, but it seemed to basic! Otherwise, decently appointed kitchen, only a table for 2, but that was fine, as we could eat in the living room. Our room overlooked Davie Street and the clubs, but wasn't as noisy as I expected it to be! Great location, everything accessible by foot or on a bus. Lisez la suite

Only stayed overnight,love that the suite has a balcony although thought the sofa bed was quite small. Received a follow up call to see how everything was going shortly after checking in. Very central location and reasonable price.

nice rooms , fantastic location

Great attitude & service from all staff -- from front desk to housekeeping. Convenient location & generally good value all around. Noise from nearby clubs can be an issue. Taxi queue right out front, though only a 10-15 min. walk from the metro line.

We thorouhly enjoyed our stay here. Very convenient and close to everything you need. Our room was ver spacious and comfortable. Our only complaint was trying to keep the room warm enough. Otherwise the staff were very accomadating and friendly

I stayed downtown davie st with my man and my two bulldogs for one night the room was good and nice to have a room to stay that was clean as our dogs are very clean also the kitchen was handy, very clean all and all good experiance.

Really nice to have a full kitchen, separate bedroom, view over English Bay and lots of grocery stores on the doorstep. Very convenient location, excellent value.

Great location. Great restaurants within walking distance. Close to any amenities anyone might want or need including St. Paul's hospital. Suite was neat and tidy and the house staff were helpful in every way. My one complaint was being chrarged for parking.

loved the room and location, what a great view from the 18th floor

In retrospect; so many things went wrong that it will likely become a humourous memory. From the 7 ft cross dresser that greeted us at the front door; to the drunk who was arguing with the clerk upon check-in, to the upgraded room that was more like a downgrade, to the hot tub that wasn't, to the Continental breakfast that wasn't to finally having the […] being locked in the elevator upon check out when the front desk de-activated our room key which allowed us to activate the elevators so the elevator doors closed and locked us in because our key was de-acitvated and we couldn't push any buttons; not even the "open" button. lol! Went up 9 flights after another customer finally pushed for our elevator. We went up 9 floors and they didn't have a key to activate so we walked down 9 flights of stairs with our luggage and then 3 more to the parking because we just wanted to escape. Ha! We stayed for only one night at the Sandman Suites, the front desk staff where really helpful. They gave us a great range of recommendations for restaurants close by, good access to shops public transport in a trendy part of town. This hotel's location was very convenient for my trip. The cleanliness of the room depended on who was cleaning that day, my bathtub was not cleaned and the bed sheets could have been changed every other day. For the price that I paid for my 5 day stay, I was not impressed with the 'plastic slats' they used for the curtains, they did not block out the […] light and you could feel the cold air comining into the room. Would I stay there again, only if there was no other place close to St. Paul's Hospital. The staff didn't seem to be current with the hotel's specials - it was only when I extended my stay by 1 day that the desk clerk informed me that I was eligible for 55+ rate:( Lisez la suite

in a word...excellent everything...can hardly wait to go back..but this time on the ocean side..toom many bars, too much noise, on the city side...

We had gone up to Vancouver to celebrate our anniversary and my partner and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. It had good reviews on hotels.com and they were spot on! The one-bedroom mini "condo" cam equipped with everything you could possibly need and the location was outstanding. We were walking distance to most locations and the concierge service […] was wonderful. Especially, the additional coupons, reservations to Grouse Mnt., and advice that was given by the morning staff. They were fantastic and we will definitely visit wonderful Vancouver, BC again and stay at this hotel. Highly recommend it to friends and family too! Bravo! Lisez la suite

My partner and i stayed here for a friday night of fun and the hotel was a great addition to the night friendly staff and nice rooms.Parking was a liitle pricey but it is in the city and its a gated parking area.

Need some King size beds, some feather pillows and douveys, it says the pillows are available in your book? Other that that room was a great value.

This is more of your budget hotel like the quality inn or comfort in. The beds are old, the televisions are Huge, I was not overly happy staying at this hotel

I feel very strongly that hotels in general hold the public hostage when events like this are put on. The inflated prices are one of the reasons many people are not able to go to live functions.

The Sandman Suites on Davie in Vancouver was okay. Good location, room fine but bathroom small. Stay was good, however when I got home I realized I had forgotten my cell phone charger. When I called the hotel they stated they had found it and would sent it to me. The cost of them sending the charger was more than the price of a new charger. (I live […] less than 100 miles away). They also wouldn't be able to send it for a few days because it was the week-end. It was cheaper and more convenient for me to go buy a new charger. Lisez la suite

I do not stay in Vancouver very often and am quite a nervous person when it comes to Vancouver in general. I have to say the convienence of the location of the Sandman on Davie was exceptional. The rooms were beautiful especially the ocean view. You gotta stay here and oh yeah not to mention the fact that I felt real safe when you have to use your key […] card that you use for your room fofr the elevator. Excellent value, spacious room and convenient location. Only complaint is lack of hot water. Shower was barely lukewarm.

This hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood and closed to everything such as grocey stores, restaurants, cafe and so on. Room is nice and has plenty of room. The best part is having a laundry machine in the suite. Kitchen has everything. However, hot water seemed not available in the evening and housekeeping was a little sloppy sometimes. Friendly helpful staff, close to the heart of the city. Lots of space in "one bedroom condo" style room. Enjoyed the lobby food service.

I was very impressed with this room, it was clean, appealing and the bed was comfortable. Would book again.

I liked the quality of the suite. It was roomy and had all the appliances I needed. I thought the bedding quallity could have been better - pillows were somewhat lumpy and the extra blanket had not been cleaned. The shower was hot. I liked the emphasis on "green" and that there was a recylcle bin. The housekeeping was excellent. I missed the bathrobe […] which used to be standard and also no shower cap supplied. The location is very convenient to all amenities and Moxie's restaurant is great. I have stayed here many times and will continue to do so. Ranks well in all. Staff service is great. Comfort of rooms can be improved. Lumpy/funky sofa, lumpy pillows, thin towels. Convenient location, though can be noisy at night --- paper thin windows.

Great to have a hotel at a central location where you can bring your dog. Very convenient with all the shops and restaurants close by.

Location is good. Restaurants and coffee shops are close and you can walk to most places in V.BC from any location. Rooms need equipment upgrade but this is a nit. headboard was not anchored into the wall and it did come off but no injuries. Service was fast and very helpful.
