Hôtel de qualité, malgré les travaux de rénovation dans la rue. Quand ça sera fini, ça sera encore mieux. En plein centre ville, bus à quelques mètres, monuments proches à pieds. Accueil agréable, chambre parfaite pour un court ou moyen séjour ! A recommander si vous allez à Ottawa.

Après plusieurs réservations avec Hotel.com, c'est la première fois que l'hôtel choisi, Delta Ottawa Centre, bien qu'elle soit en rénovation sur la façade, que la chambre que l'on a eu n'était pas de la même qualité que les autres. La peinture était écaillé sur les murs, les matelas avaient plusieurs années de service...bref, la chambre nous a déçu […] au point de se demander si parce que nous n'avions pas réservé par leur centre de réservation nous avions eu une chambre de dernière catégorie. Le stationnement payant est trop cher, car juste en face, il y a un stationnement intérieur à moindre prix. La propreté de la piscine laisse à désirer, exemple: pleins de cheveux sur la céramique autour de la piscine, le fond de la piscine pas nettoyé, même si dans cette période l'achalandage était très bas...pas assez de clients pour avoir un brunch déjeuner le matin, même si c'était annoncé,,,,Par contre, le personnel a été très attentionné à nos demandes. J'ai trouvé l'hôtel bien situé et le service impeccable. Toutefois, en raison des rénovations, il nous fût difficile d'accéder à la réception, qui n'était pas au même niveau que l'endroit où nous sommes entrés. Malgré ces problèmes temporaires, il reste que le séjour a été agréable, en dépit de la taille un peu restreinte des chambres en comparaison […] avec certains autres hôtels. Lisez la suite

C'était très bien. Nous avons adorés notre séjour dans la capitale. Les enfants ont beaucoup aimés la chambre et eut beaucoup de plaisir dans la piscine (l'eau étant à une bonne température). Ils souaites que nos prochaines vacances soit au même endroit.

L'emplacement est super, le service excellent, on voit rapidement que l'hôtel a besoin de rénovation une fois dans la chambre mais on s'y attendait. Généralement propre. Seul bémol, le stationnement est dispendieux et notre chambre était à côté des ascenseurs donc beaucoup de bruits. Hôtel parfait pour faire le tour des musées et une visite du site […] du parlement. Nous avons choisi cet hotel pour son emplacement . .Nous avons pu visiter plusieurs endroits a pied, Ne craignez pas les rénovations car ns n'avons pas été dérangé.La chambre choisi n'était pas disponible mais ils nous ont donné une suite sans frais supplémentaire.Je retournerais a cet hotel.

Je suis un peu critique mais je ne désirais pas payer trop cher. On m a offert gratuitement une chambre avec vue sur l eau. C était propre, beau, des lits confortables et près de tout a pied.

Nous avons bien aimé le Delta, manque un peu de rénovations, mais confortable. Bon rapport qualité/prix. À deux pas des sites touristiques d'Ottawa.

Arrivée à l'hotel: Pas de frigo dans la chambre, une ventilation plus que bruyante, une porte d'entrée impossible à verrouiller... Une heure plus tard, on nous changeait de chambre en nous faisant remarquer que nous étions exigeants! Par la suite, ce fut très bien. Superbe piscine.

Très bien situé au centre-ville. Rues piétonnières tout près pour se rendre facilement au Parlement ou au marché By. Le personnel est courtois et aidant. Comme on annonce une rénovation majeure, je suggérerais d'ajouter un dispositif aux portes de chambre afin qu'elles se referment tout doucement. Parking was terrible for a truck, I had to park across the street for $25/night Major construction going on in the lower levels of hotel, very loud. Temporary exits to street could have been marked better. Air conditioning did not work in room, i reported it to front desk but it did not get fixed. One ice machine not working. Not a good hotel to stay […] with kids, more business based. Without a discount on this last visit i would never stay here again. No fridge in the room. Renovations on a lower floor made my floor stink like burnt metal.

Overall our experience was good! The staff was great and very friendly which was wonderful!... When we did have an issue with your room they offered to move us and tried very hard to make sure we were satisfied. The issue was a small one so we were happy to stay where we were. The outside of the building is still being renovated but it did not effect […] our stay in anyway! I like that it was located down town and was in walking distance to the major sights in the city. I would definitely recommend the Delta Ottawa! The staff was very friendly and the room was gorgeous! I was no bothered one bit by the renovations. Can't wait to see the hotel again once all the renos are done!

Very noisy on this trip as construction is ongoing.

Despite the fact the hotel was undergoing major renovations on the Main Floor Lobby, the hotel staff were so upbeat, helpful and cheerful, that it made our stay so much better....we completely overlooked the reno! I can't imagine what it would be like when the reno is complete!

Apart for the renovations we had a spectacular view. the bed was comfortable, the food from room service was okay, the room was beautiful, the people were nice. Overall satisfactory stay.

The hotel is still undergoing renovations. We were disappointed that the pool was not available, though arrangements were made with another hotel. The room was nice and quiet and perfectly adequate for our needs. Didn't like the green soap, which melted in the soap dish.

The hotel is under repair. The room was great when the rest of the hotel is ready should be a great place. The kitchen is closed the weekend i was there. The pool is closed for repairs. like i said when it is fully up and running it will be a great place.

The hotel was generally pretty nice, but while we were there, there were substantial renovations going on at this hotel, which generated a lot of noise during the day.

Great staff! They were very helpful and made it their absolute priority that my stay was perfect. The hotel was gorgeous inside and at a perfect location. I will most definitely stay here again!

My wife and I chose the Delta City Center Hotel for our stay in Ottawa because it was handy to the downtown area, and the rate quoted was attractive. What we didn't know at the time of booking was that the hotel was undergoing major construction and renovation, inside and out. On check-in, we found that there was no hotel directory in our room. This […] is the book that contains info about the hotel, location of hotel services, telephone charges (more on this later), and most importantly, safety information such as location of fire escape routes. We called the front desk about this, and they said they'd send a bellman up right away with a copy. The bellman never showed up, and we had to make the request again the next day in person at the front desk. The book was in our room that night, but it contained no information about the hotel at all - only advertisements for nearby restaurants. Even though construction wasn't taking place within 5 floors of our room, the carpets in our corridor were filthy with drywall/cement dust throughout our stay. The only evidence of cleaning we saw was when a housekeeping person was seen mopping the lobby floor outside the elevator a couple of times. The final insult was the charge for three LOCAL phone calls, at $1.00 + tax each, when we checked out. Most hotels spell out their telephone charges in their hotel directory, a copy of which is usually to be found in each room. However, we never received one of those books, so we had no way of knowing there would be a charge for local calls. All in all, we had a very disappointing stay at the Delta Ottawa City Centre. We were told on the phone that there was no constraction. Howeve when we arrived there was constraction and we were woken up every morning at 7 am with the noise of drilling on the top floor. The twin beds were too small and we didnt sleep at all.

The pilows are very soft, and there is a noise in the night that you could hear it very loud, it could from the plumping system or other mechanical systems, add this to the soft pilows and it was a terrible sleep. The room is very small. The swiming pool temperature was too cold to use. The Hotel was under renovatvion and we were not told upfront. The […] car parking was very expensive, the hotel wanted $18/night and you could not access your car, if you want to use your car and be in and out, then they wanted more money and difficult protocol, end up parking on the street and took the risk of parking tickets. I just need to clarify my rating - the hotel was under construction (conversion to a Delta from a Crowne Plaza) during my visit and therefore can't really be expected to be at its best. For instance, the front entrance was completely blocked off, construction began at 8:30am every day, and one of the conference floors was extremely cold the entire time. […] That being said, the staff were amazing, the room (pre-renovation) was still clean and nice, and they were clearly doing their best to cope with the chaos of major renovations. 5 day guest. attended conference. Major renovations going on. Disruptive & left areas of hotel very cold. Can see why they are necessary. Ladies washroom on lower level where conference held was disgusting. My hotel room was not cleaned one day, in spite of my calling front dest at 5 pm. Very pleasant staff at front desk, with room service, and in bar. […] Room dingy & in major need of facelift.. Limited menu. Dinner only available in bar not hotel restaurant.. The hotel was under construction; as well as construction surrounding it. They put me in a room on the other side of the hotel away from the noise which was helpful. I must admit, if I knew about the construction I would have chosen another hotel. The staff were very friendly and I had no issue with my stay.

This hotel should inform prospective guests that it is undergoing renovation. What I found more inconvenient was the unreliable internet service in my room. When I arrived, I could not log on with wireless or cable. After speaking with a tech support person, I had service by cable. However, the next morning I could not even log on by cable. When I reported […] my lack of satisfaction as I checked out, the people at the desk kind of shrugged their shoulders. Changed rooms 3 times due to various problems, i.e: no water in shower or sink. Under reconstruction. Could not find where to park or even where to enter hotel. However, the staff did go out of their way to find us a room that was acceptable.

The hotel tried to keep open -- convention rooms were fine, but could have been used in connection with the Delta Hotel across the street. Gym was fine, too. But the cleaning staff for our room focused on bed, sink, pick up laundry on the floor onlly Not one day did the bug on the bathroom floor get removed; thus, the floor was not cleanned.

The hotel staff were exceptionally kind and friendly, and the hotel is conveniently located, however, the hotel room itself was small, uncomfortable, and my bed frame broke on the second night just from sitting on the end.
