I would not come back to this hotel. My skin was itching after sleeping on the bed.The walls are paper thin. The AC was the noisiest AC ever i could not even sleep. I did not get room service until after 3pm, I even had to call. This place is to be remodeled. Everything is falling apart.

I had several appointments with my son at MD Anderson, however with a convention (several) in town this was THE only hotel with an available room. I have never stayed farther then 5 miles from MDA. This was a bit of a drive, but it was a pleasant drive. Although we are moving to Hawaii and won't be returning to MDA, I would not hesitate staying at this […] hotel again. The staff was extremely pleasant and the rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was standard, however, we brought our own things to prepare (yogurt, fruit, etc). The facility has open tables, microwave, and counter space in which we used to prep our salads for dinner the night we arrived as well as the microwave to warm up our main dish. We did not use the pool so I can't comment on anything other then it looking very inviting. I did notice there was a hotel shuttle for the airport as the hotel is on the main strip leaving the airport. There are several hotels up and down the main drag as well as fast food chains and gas stations. I was pleasantly surprised with how clean the hotel and surrounding area was. For the price it was a nice hotel. The room was very minimal and a bit small but it was good for sleeping which was all we needed it for. The front desk lady was awesome and printed directions for any place I asked about. Waffles at breakfast were great and shaped like Texas which made my son excited. Overall we were quite satisfied.

Local Management decisions sucked because it was obviousness the were being cheap about everything they provided to their guest. Front desk staff were selfish, management gave us toilet paper so thin, you have to use triple the amount. Breakfast was cheap, cleanliness was ok. We were very comfortable staying at Red Roof Inn. It was for just one night, before we continued on to our final destination. We were very comfortable, the room was clean and I loved the free Wi-Fi! There was a coffee maker, ironing board and iron, a clock radio and, of course a TV .The hotel was close to the Houston airport, and we didn't have to wait […] long for the shuttle. I called the hotel, told them we were waiting, and they were there in no time. The girls at the front desk were super nice and so was the shuttle driver. Our stay was NOT good!! Well, the first room we were in smelled really bad. The second room we had smelled somewhat and there was hair in the bed!! Obviously, the sheets had not been changed after the last person stayed in the room. The third room we were in didn't smell but the toilet was stopped up. Hotel location good at airport exit, cheap prices, free internet, ok breakfast, I took shower came out of bathroom found bug crawling across sheets, wrapped bug in towel took to front desk, they said they would look into it, stil had one night left at hotel asked to be moved said they were fully booked but would put me another room after someone checked […] out, came back to hotel at 7pm that day, they had not changed room, when asked to be changed receptionist said there was no note about bug issue, she put me in room next to washing machine room and directly above hotel air conditioning units, No apologies about bug, manager had told me when I brought the bug to them, they have dogs that stay in that part of hotel so thats how that happened, but still treated me like I was the bug, no more cheapy hotels for me, this was the first and last time at red roof inns. If you just need to stay one night around airport, yes, it's good. You may need to call after your arrival and wait some time to get the free shuttle bus from airport to hotel. The hotel room is clean, the bed is comfortable too. There is a small mall with some restaurants next to the hotel, besides that nothing else but highway. good value in the houston airport area for the seventy odd bucks paid. good that they have a free shuttle too. first room smelled a bit like cigarettes and none of the light switches worked. switched and the second room was fine. tastefully decorated w. nice corporate desk and firm comfy bed. it had a shower rather than a bathtub.

I needed to fly in overnight, last minute, and this was the last hotel available in Houston, despite it's close proximity to the airport. Part of the reason why I chose this hotel was the complementary shuttle service to and from the airport. When I arrived at IAH I called and the desk clerk said she would notify the shuttle driver to pick me up. After waiting for twenty-five minutes, I called the hotel again and she apologized and said he was on his way, and then asked me again what […] terminal I was at. After another fifteen minutes and a no-show, I flagged a taxi and called the hotel, but no response. When I arrived at the hotel, the shuttle was sitting in the parking lot. The room was fine for one person. But I hardly got any sleep because I was so cold. I adjusted the cooling system, but with only a very light cover on the bed, sleeping for me was difficult. Recently stayed at the hotel because I had an interview the next morning. My room was on the 3rd floor which I was fine with. The fact the hotel is located next to the highway is not good, My room, which was the last room at the corner of the hotel right at the highway was the worst. Sleep was about non existent. I asked other guests about the noise […] in the morning and they were able to sleep not hearing anything. Had I known when I booked the room, I would have asked not to be placed near the back of the hotel near the highway. A policy telling the guests where their room is located would be an added benefit. The price was under $75. Not being able to sleep, it wasn't worth anything except the warm shower. The staff was very nice and accomodating. The continental breakfast has much to be desired. It's a hotel at the end of the runway. My room shock when large planes flew directly overhead and the windows were single-glazed. It's tired looking inside and the wifi was very weak and unusable. I wasn't expecting luxury but for what I paid I had hoped for a more comfortable and up-to-date room. The vendor machines don't work. If you are hungry get ready to walk, drive or get a cab. There is only one person at the front desk and very transactional. You get for what you pay. It was clean. This place is close to the airport. It has a comfy bed. The water that comes out of fosit might be slightly dirty. Nice TV in room. Place just seems warm and staff is friendly. The hotel accomodations were fine, what is expected from a hotel by the airport. The service on the other hand was terrible. We booked this hotel specifically because it offered a free shuttle service from the airport. We called when we landed, and were told it would be 15-20 minutes. When we arrived at the shuttle pick up area we saw our shuttle driving […] off. We immediatly called the hotel, who told us the driver was leaving the airport and would not turn around. Apparently the amount of time it took for us to get off our plane and walk to the shuttle pick up was too long to wait. The luggage had not even made it to the baggage carousel.
