Pour nous c'était le luxe! L'hotel est une succession de grandes maisons de 3 niveaux, chacun ayant sa terrasse privée avec vue sur le Golf et la végétation tropicale. Un vrai appartement décoré comme dans les magazines (entrée, cuisine américaine électro kitchen aid, grand salon)la baie vitrée donne accès à la terrasse privée. 2 salles de bain (tous les produits sont fournis:dentifrice gel douche shampoing après shampoing et lait hydratant) et une immense chambre. La piscine à côté de la réception est grande avec de multiples chaises longues et jacuzzi(les serviettes sont fournies). Le restaurant de l'hotel est très bon, le menu enfant est très bien).Le Spa et la salle de sport en haut de la réception sont très luxueux. Attention cependant, nous sommes à 20 min en voiture de Miami beach, et à côté de l'aéroport (mais on n'entend pas du tout les avions)

Satisfait de tout, sauf peut être de la superficie de la chambre et du lit, qui sont vraiment minuscules

Nous y avons passé deux nuits au début de notre autotour. Hôtel calme, propre. Personnel sympathique et disponible. Petit-déjeuner complet. A proximité de l'US 1 pour rejoindre les principales attractions de Miami. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. A recommander.
Des frais pour toute personne supplémentaire peuvent être facturés et dépendent de la politique de l'hôtel.

Etabli à moins de dix kilomètres à l'ouest du centre de Miami, l'aéroport jouxte le quartier d'affaires et résidentiel de Coral Gables et n'est qu'à quelques minutes des commerces de Coconut Grove. Cet aéroport animé abrite une galerie d'art, de nombreuses boutiques hors taxes et un hôtel bien placé.

"Don't expect more than a comfy room"
Imagine our surprise to learn the airport shuttle only makes one swoop every half hour. While the front desk was quite friendly, they couldn't handle the simple task of calling us a taxi so we could grab a bite to eat. We ate at the hotel bar and didn't realize it was up to us to explain to our server that the appetizer should come BEFORE the entrees. […] Additionally, it was put upon us to go back to the bar for refills as our server ignored us the remainder of the evening. "Good hotel! Great staff!"
Good hotel. Hotel is near the airport and downtown Miami which was great. Room was modern and clean. Service was great. Staff was very nice especially, Luis (the Concierge) who let us know of a great local Cuban restaurant in the area. Only negative was that our bathtub and sink needed a clog remover as it was not draining properly. Also, our bathroom […] fan was nearing its end of life cycle. "disgusting rooms!!! stay away!"
This hotel is no Hilton, not even a Double Tree for that matter. The rooms were disgusting!!! The first room they gave us had a clogged bathtub so we were switch to a new room. The second room had really bad mold in the bathtub, hair all over the bathroom, and caked on dust on the vents. I started to use the coffee pot and decided not to, when I saw […] my hands imprinted in the dust on top of it. We were very impressed with this hotel. very neat, the room was big and the bed was very comfortable. We will definatly stay there again.

Clean, comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Lobby was being painted. However,painters were working unsafely, could hurt themselves or hotel customers. Painter standing on a 5 gallon empty paint can on top of a 10 to 12 ft scaffold.
"Wireless doesn't work"
it is a great hotel, very well localized, but I have stayed for 6 days and there is no cable internet on the room, neither the wireless work. you have to go to the lobby everytime to connect. Wasn't really expecting much (based on its location/surrounding area) but we were impressed. Rooms are large, very clean, and queen size bed was comfortable -- at least to my standards. I honestly don't no complaints. We enjoyed our stay.

"Excellent choice of hotel close to Miami Airport"
We stayed for two nights in November and was very pleasantly surprised at standard of hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was really big and very comfortable. Foyer area was being refurbished while we were there, and was looking amazing Pool area fantastic. We booked the hotel last minute and got a great price. TV reception didn't come in on several channels but otherwise the stay went well and was a good value.

The free shuttle got us from MIA airport to the front desk where we were greeted with a unexpected complimentary upgrade! Comfortable stay and courteous staff!

Housekeeping woeful.Unfriendly, never tidied room till late afternoon. One day never even happened till 3 phone calls. Non english speaking staff, never cleaned bathroom at all. Food in restaurant poor, tough rib eye fillet and frozen cold veges. In breakfast room, charges extra for orange juice and coffee/tea over and above price of buffet. No warning […] of this.. "Under staffed"
Staff was friendly especially the housekeeping staff. The main problem I had was the bar and restaurant was only open for limited hours and very under staffed. There aren't any other restaurants near the hotel so this was very inconvenient.

We had a very nice stay. The only 2 things that concerned me were, 1, the shuttle driver was less than friendly, 2, the bathroom wasn't that clean, urine on the toilet. Everyone was great once inside, they gave me extra cookies for my kids(a huge plus) and the bell service was very nice to talk to. all in all, 2 good nights...

This place was the worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed in my entire life. I would rather stay in my car if the doubletree was the only hotel in the area. This trip was my honeymoon. First, they have a 24 hours shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We arrive at the airport and we call the double tree and they say the shuttle comes every thirty minutes. […] An hour later we have to call them because the shuttle never came once. 15 mins later the shuttle comes. We check in. We ask the front desk about taxis. They tell us they have taxis come to the hotel every 5 mins but that of course is a lie. We go upstairs change and head down for dinner and their is no taxis. We had to have them call us a cab on the spot. Fast forward after dinner we return to our room. Our tv is broke. We call the front desk, they say their going to send a technician to fix it. 2 hours later, no technician. We just call the front desk to tell them to cancel the technician coming. Since we are very tired we don't check the room out closely. The next morning while getting ready my wife finds a cell phone case by bed and when we flipped our pillows over and there was makeup on the pillows. The room wasn't even properly cleaned or bed changed. I tell the hotel before we check out and the best they could say was that the next time they would make it better. I would have complained to the manager but I was late to get to my cruise ship. Also, they had a shuttel to the cruise terminal, but it lefted at 12 noon. They told me this at 11:45 a.m. How does a shuttle leave at 12 balready by its 11:45. Worst hotel ever... Lisez la suite

"Doubletree MIA Recommend with reservations"
The hotel was NOT maintained well. Upon check-in the room was NOT cleaned or supplied properly, grout falling out of bathroom tiles, garbage left on sink,empty tissue container. Pool was nice but the first night there were NO towels and requests had been made multiple times over a period of several hours. The breakfast buffet was good, service in the […] restaurant good. Too many personnel did not speak English at all and/or were improperly trained in the hotel business. The hotel did not meet typical standards of a Doubletree. Our few days coincided with an event being held there that involved scantily clad women in stiletto heeled shoes that made me feel like I was in a red light district in a foreign city. Hotel was very, very nice. Great value and excellent service. Nice pool area, restaurant and bar. Valet is affordable and convenient.
Hotel was fine, rooms were okay. The safe did not work properly due to battery not working. Pool area not clean in the afternoon. Burgers served in the hotel bar were cold cold. Overall the hotel is okay, but could use some better lighting in lobby and other areas. The room could use a comfortable chair where standing lamp is situated. We had a full day to spend here and I chose to be close to the airport for an early flight the next morning. The hotel was fine except we wanted to spend the day at the pool and there were very few pool chairs there and most of them were broken. So that was very disappointing. Otherwise it was fine.

WE ARRIVED EARLY FROM SANTIAGO AFTER AN 8 HR FLIGHT. THEY LET US CHECK IN RIGHT AWAY. WE HAVE STAID THERE SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE AND HAVE ALWAYS ENJOYED OUR STAY AND THEIR GOOD SERVICE

Terrible hotel, really really dirty. People wandered from floor to floor looking for an ice machine that worked, dingy dirty carpets. Impossible to find. SAVE YOURSELF and go to another hotel. A real dump for a doubletree price.

"Nice Airport/ Merchandise Hotel"
Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Located near Miami International Airport and lobby opens onto Miami Merchandise Mart. Rooms were nice but need a little maintenance. TV remote did not work but was quickly fixed by staff. Air conditioning was VERY cool and did not seem to respond well to adjustments. Room service is expensive but quick to arrive. Would tell friends and associates to stay at the Doubletree Airport Miami. Check-in went very smooth. We were allowed to check-in before 10 A.M. We were a little taken back by this since we had just arrived back from a cruise at 8:30 A.M. We thought we would have to wait around until the afternoon to check-in, seeing we choose a hotel very near the […] airport for our flight home the next day. The hotel has free shuttle service every 30 min. to the airport. The hotel also has a shopping mall attached under the same roof so you can shop and never get out into the weather. Lisez la suite

"Could have been better"
Check -in process was good, but no cookies...Room was reasonably comfortable but no more so than local and less expensive competition. Staff was gracious and accommodating. Main problem was with shuttle to airport for a.m. airport departures. Driver was very late and then insisted on overloading the van with passengers and luggage(long line because […] he was late.) There was a horrible smell immediately upon entering the hotel. It carried over throughout the hallway but was not in the room. Rooms were large, well decorated and comfortable. The cookies at check in were delicious!

the hotel was very nice overall...but you were lucky if 1 of the 3 elevators was working when you needed it. From friends who have stayed there several years in a row - it is a constant issue. There isn't much around the hotel (other than the merchandise mart) if you don't have a car.
"Worse hotel experience ever!!"
First off I could not wait to do this review. My wife and I over the course of three years have been to about six hotels and this was the worse hotel experience we've both have ever had. First off when we get to the hotel for which we paid for in advance we were told that the two double bed that we received confirmation for and paid for was not available, […] only a 1 bedroom King. Mind you we are a family of two adults and two small children, which is why I "paid" for the room in advance with a double bed request. The woman at the front desk proceded to tell me that they do not gaurantee rooms, which is fine, but they took my money the day I booked it and sent me a confirmation saying "double bed". The women offered me a complimentary breakfast for my inconvience which was a total insult. I told the women that I did not want anything free, only what I had paid for. After much going back and forth she finally agreed to put us into a suite (which I suggested) since it was big enough to bring a rollaway bed into for my kids to sleep. To make matters worse the elevators broke down so we had to carry our luggage up four flights of stairs because the door man didn't want to help us after he found out we didn't have tip money. Next, when we get in the room we get ready for bed because we are exhausted from fighting with the lady about putting us into a bigger room for our family of four that we again "paid" for in advance, we pull the covers back on our bed and there beholds a brown spot with three cutips laying right beside it as though the sheets had not been changed from previous guests. So disgusted we stripped off the bed and used some extra ones that appeared to be clean from the closet. Then!!it gets better! After about 20 minutes after using the restroom in the room we were in, I noticed that the water was still running from the toliet. After examination, we realized the handle and stopper was broke so a repair man had to come in our room the next day to fix it. Then, Lisez la suite
"Great service, would stay again"
While staying here I had surgery and the staff was very helpful and caring. They let us check in early for no extra charge which was great. The room was clean and the bed was pretty comfortable. Very good for the price. Parking was 7 a day and room service was pretty pricey but other than that the hotel was real nice.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Doubletree Hotel. The Hotel is clean, friendly staff. One of the clerks Mark was excellent. Over all If you need to stay near the airport or just a hotel to relax and enjoy the pool; THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR.
"Outstanding, and needs some improvmement"
Outstanding in the sense that the bed was very comfortable The rooms were very clean. The food was excellent. Considering prices, it was worth it because it was well prepared and the food had a great taste. The TV could have been facing bed more even though it turned on a swivel, but still limited. Offer more movie channels My other recommendation […] would be have some live entertainment, movies, and even dancing. The shops are great and I spent money buying.
