Park Regis City Centre - Sydney

L'hotel Park Regis est un endroit idéal pour un court séjour à Sydney. En plein centre ville, à 15 min de marche de l'opéra, du Harbour ... Propre et accueillant. Station de taxi en face de l'hotel. Pour les "mauvais dormeurs" la rue est passante et peut donc être un peu bruyante. Je reprendrai cet hotel lors de mon prochain passage sur la ville.

EXCELLENT RAPPORT QUALITE/PRIX Il manque de quoi poser les trousses de toilette dans la salle de bain. Les chambres côté rue sont extrêmement bruyantes

Un seul bémol : pas de double vitrage, aussi les bruits de la rue étaient gênants dans la chambre, même de nuit !

location centre ville près de tous les attraits touristiques: jardin botanique, les quais pour tours de bateaux, le Sydney Opera, la galerie d'art moderne. Un détail le Park Regis se compose d'appartements et d'un motel pour les chambres....à l'arrivée on peut se tromper de portes. A part une belle terrasse au 45ème étage et une piscine extérieur au […] même endroit, on n'y retrouve pas de services hotelliers: restaurant, café, portier etc, la vue est super au 45ème et on peut y fumer....à la reservation on me promettait une chambre fumeur....il n'y a aucune chambre de ce type au Park Regis City Centre. had a great stay. convenience of hotel and plenty of parking. staff very obliging.only problem when booking online configuration of room stated 1 x queen bed and 2 x singles. that configuration does not exist at the hotel. we booked 3 of these rooms so we had to double up..so bear in mind to check with the hotel itself.

Hotel is in a perfect location in the city. The bed slept good and the room was clean, so was the bathroom. No problems with noise etc. from the street.

Fantastic location, very easy to get around. Incredibly noisy room. We were on the 15th floor but the road/street noise was horrid. Luckily I wear ear plugs when traveling but not so my husband. No restaurant in the hotel but attached coffee shop does good breakfast.

I was a single traveller and found the Regis Ideal for me and a short stay. Staff courteous and mostly helpful with directions and places to eat at etc. Room was small but comfy and clean with modern decor & fitting etc. only 'neg' was the shower curtain/recess smelt musty. but batroom (tiny insize) appeared clean. I was able to leave baggage Before […] & After check in/out for $2 each day, brilliant convenience ! Close (2 mins) to Train, monorail, supermarket. other shops - Take aways & coffee shops outside hotel, very convenient. .... light sleeper ? take ear plugs, old building And it IS in the city ... all up, will stay again there for a short stay when in Sydney. We were on standby for our flight and the hotel was very helpfull with us checking in and out everyday. The people at the front dest were very helpfull and very friendly. They knew there way around town so they could direct us were ever we needed to go. The room is small but worked great for 3 of adults. we were able to walk every were we went the bays […] were about 10 min walk in each direction the train was about 5 min away. Location is great, very central. Bathrooms are very small but the actual room size was fine, bigger than expected after reading reviews on here. However, I was surprised that there is no safe deposit box in the room or help with luggage. The bathroom was not cleaned properly prior to arrival or during my stay. This is the place to stay if you want a central location to all that Sydney has to offer. A short walk to Oxford St for great Japanese at cheap prices, Stanley St across the park for wonderful Italian and the Queen Victoria building for shopping. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. It was excellent value for money and the location was ideal. Considering the busy location it was also quieter than expected as well.

I was given the worst room in hotel -very very small bathroom in teh corner-no soap only dispensed liquid soap -could barely fit in the bathroom -definitely not good value as the rate per night was definitely not cheap !!! Too soft bed and very dusty

Smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, and even more so because there were two staying in the room! Excellent location.

The hotel room was small but fairly clean (although the bathroom was not great). The hot water in our bathroom did not work and, after speaking with some of the workers there, it sounded like this was a common occurrence. The maid was nice enough to clean and let us use the shower in the next room but we paid way too much money to have to use a shower […] down the hall. Excellent hotel for a few nights stay. Basic rooms but still has everything you need. VERY VERY central to everything. would highly reccomend and would stay their again.

Absolutely perfect location, nice, standard rooms, a great view over the city from the roof on the 45th floor (there's even a roof pool for those brave enough to face the 45th floor winds). convenient location, near Town Hall station so can take train from airport to hotel instead of using shuttle. room adequate though small. Aircon unit needs replacing. Not effective and very noisy. when I switch mine off I can still hear the neighbour's aircon. The room had a double bed in it but it was obvious that it was a single room.One small wardrobe ,One bedside cabinet with one small draw..The small onsuite had what can be called a combi boiler for the hot waterwhich was either hot or cold..The shower just had a small curtain round it.I noticed later on that the electrical appliances were due for testing […] in July 2009.this maent that they had not been tested since 2008.(I have photo evidence of this).On the plus side the room was cleaned and the sheets changed every day .All of the staff were very proffesional. Great stay...Only have one complaint, here in Australia isn't the GST usually added on in total price. Got a shock when told parking was $30 and when checking out GST was then added and also to an 80cent phone call even though I dialed the number...

The room was clean, modern and tidy as expected for the price we paid. Only disappointment was the room was not clean/made even we have hung the 'please make our room' sign on the door knob. Clean towels was just left at our door and housekeeping did not go in to collect the used unwanted towels, which kind of caused a mess consider how compacted the […] bathroom was. The hotel is a bit dated and very noisy due to heavy traffic street. Transportation is handy and lots of eateries around the area. Bed and linen was clean and comfy. The lobby area is very small. Staff were friendly. It's better to be able to get the quiet rooms facing the back. Will go back.

There was no hot water for our entire stay- 3 days. The hotel blamed this on plumbing problems and said there was nothing they could do- simply unaceptable for the price paid.

While the bed was comfortable, and fittings such as the TV were relatively new, this building is showing its age. The rooms are pretty cramped, and it isn't very good value for money. However, it is clean, and although the bathroom is tiny it is functional.

The hotel was clean, friendly and convenient for central sightseeing. My first visit to Sydney - wd happily stay there again. Liked the free paper and plentiful tea bags - small things that make a difference.

Excellent location, right in the middle of the City, close to train station. Lovely roof top pool - wonderful view across the City. Room very comfortable.

Great location as we had a few things on on the city. Would stay again. The only thing is that you can't book a car park, we were lucky as we did get one but we were staying midweek. (there was plenty anyway)will tell friends and family as they visit Sydney regularly.

We had a good view, the hotel is very clean, the front desk personnel are wonderful--at least during the day--night time personnel are OK. The shower was hard to get to the right temp--either boiling or cold--it was an on demand hot water unit that 3 of us could not moderate. The reception staff on arrival were extremely friendly and check-in was simple. The room maids appeared to randomly move our belongings and the bathroom, which required daily cleaning due to the shallow shower basin and inadequate curtain, was poorly cleaned. The hotel wad lovely though, and the roof top area was really nice. Being so close to the city […] was fantastic as it allowed us to access the bridge abd opera house, however we were in a room facing the street and had to suffer road works from 6am and partying until 4am. we enjoyed our stay was very close all attractions we did have a few problems the hot water system was broken and it took a while to fix, we found hair in our clean towels but with saying that the problems were fix as quickly as they could and we were given discounts because of these things we did find the the people working on the desk didn't know […] of any family restaurants and we told we would need to walk around and have a look. i would recommend this hotel for the closeness of all attraction Lisez la suite

The hotel staff was extremely friendly when we arrived and very helpful in getting us oriented. The apartment itself was spacious and clean but the furniture, carpets, etc was quite dated and does need some upgrades. The location is decent but slightly away from the city center - it is actually located in the thick of student housing.

For the price and the location a small room to stay was not a bad place. If you want to stay in your room all day go somewhere else. If you want clean and convenient it is an ok place.
