This hotel looks wonderful from the pictures online...but they are so decieving. The room was not clean, the curtains were stained and discolored, carpets were stained, the tub floor was peeling, no microwave or alarm clock, and that's just the room. We stayed there only for the pool, guess what, the pool was not in service, there was no bar/ lounge, […] no restaurant, no pool table, no sauna. These were all things advertised for this hotel. advertised indoor pool, hotel staff stated that there was no pool. also advertised that there was a bar and a restraunt hotel staff states no bar or restraunt. old hotel. clean rooms but was not as advertised kinda sisappointing when you find out that there is no pool when that was one of the reasons we booked that hotel.

We were very disapointed with our room. One of the beds was unmade when we walked in. The bathroom was in need of remodling. Our bathtub plug didn't keep the water in the tub. The floor needed vacuumed. There was a McDonald's bag sitting on the shelf full of trash. The indoor pool wasn't open when we wanted to use it. Room was clean, bed comfortable, shower hot, neighborhood quiet... but, the hotel itself is tired and worn out. It is obvious that the best years of this property were decades ago. But, the price was reasonable...and all I wanted was a good night's sleep. Mission accomplished.

we would never stay there again,no heat,no wash rags and only one towel and 2 hand towels for 2 people,no phone service,i could go on and on,,,,,dont do it!

The hotel room was dirty, changed to a second room with was also dirty. The room offered amenities that was not there, and was told that the amenities are not offered.

The hotel was mediocre. The sheets were transparent. The rugs were stained both in the room and in the hallway. There was something "shabby" about the place. I would not return here.

Room only semi-clean, had to request linens for two (one towel and washcloth), remote control for TV broken, continental bkfst food and drinks ran out half hour before end of serving time and not replenished. Room not worth the price.

this hotel is nothing like the pictures! very rundown!

The people were very nice. The hotel is dirty, dilapidated and stinky. The grounds are unkempt, unsafe and at least half of the hotel is closed (e.g. bedding against the windows in the rooms, curtains torn or ripped). We stayed 15 minutes and despite losing our entire room charge, checked out and went to another hotel. Room booked through hotels.com […] and non-refundable. Lisez la suite

This hotel has definitely seen better days. The pictures on the Hotels.com website must be from a few years ago. The facility is unkept and falling apart in places. The Restaurant and Bar/Lounge have been closed for awhile. The Outdoor pool is not in working condition and the Indoor pool is cloudy and murky. the outside pool is no longer working, The inside pool was cloudy and too warm. The hotel needed painting and the reception on the tv was poor

It was a nightmare, can't believe, what a rip off, They do have nicer rooms in the main building, why they had us stay on d outer building when they had better rooms available, and the rooms were the same price.linen was dirty, rooms smelt of smoke, air condition was broken, Disaster !!!!!!!

i am used to traveling on a shoestring budget and am not very picky. however, the online pictures of this location are much better than the reality. this hotel was probably grand when it opened, but is now very down on its luck and needs major renovation. once reason i chose this location was for the outdoor pool, which was closed, filled just halfway […] with green gunky water. many parts of the hotel are closed off, locked down. some areas near the indoor pool are downright scary, perfect for fillming a horror movie. the room was sufficient, but truly needs some new carpeting -what is there is quite gross. service was pleasant and the location wonderful. so, if a renovation can be had, it would be a terrific place to stay. The room was okay for a one night stay. Hotel needs mayor update. IYou can tell back in the days it was the grand hotel in the area. Don't leave anything in the car, another guest got his car window sbroken during the night.

I'm not sure if this establishment is under new management, but there are alot of things that are misleading from the websites pics. It shows that they have two pools, one inside and outside, the one outside is not in service, and dirty, the one inside had so many chemicals in it that just being in the room burned my eyes. There were no towels, and […] the pattio furniture was broken. The continental breakfast was very poor, barely any variety to eat. Basically just coffee, bread and danishes. Place is being sold, only a few rooms available. Dirty rooms but the work staff were nice. Indoor pool was nice, outdoor pool closed. first room we got was on the third floor and dirty. We asked to be moved. Put us on first floor, room a little better. TV almost fell off stand (husband caught it!) Bathroom was really dirty. Beds were okay and clean. […] Lobby was nice. Outside okay. Hotels.com. You should remove this hotel from your website. Exterior looked very run-down. Lobby looked as though it had just been renovated. So we felt a little better. Till we got to our room. Floors were dirty, room had not been dusted in years, No clock, no hairdryer, no microwave, restaurant was closed for renovation, pool was closed for renovation, […] towles had holes in them, and to top it off, when my husband went to take a shower, he found someone's underpants hanging on the back of the bathroom door. looks are decieveing.. The place looks nothing like the pictures on their the website. It was run down looking. When we made the reservation i told them i needed to rooms together. When i got there we couldn't get 2 rooms together, someone booked the hotel for a wedding....when we went to our rooms, one was soo nasty, it hadn't been clean and there […] was dirty towels all over. I went back to the front desk and told the lady, she said I have a paper here that states its been cleaned. So she had the lady clean it and moved us to a different room. Once in that room we put the air on and went to dinner. Two hours later we returned to a very hot room. Once again we went to the front desk and told the lady. She then called the same lady who cleaned the room to check why the air wasnt working. ( That was the only cleaning lady we saw, and the place was huge) She didnt even have a cleaning cart. She then gave us another room, which was far away form the people we were with. The next day we tried to have breakfast their. It was about 8:00am there was nothing to eat except for the stale bread. the pictures are very deceiving. The windows are from the 70's and they were broken. the tv reception was fuzzy. Neither of the pools were opened. The staff was not very helpful at all. The room was clean, but could've been a lot better. I had kids with me. Pools were broken (which we didn't know til we got there). Rooms were dirty and smelled. Carpets were disgusting. I didn't even want to touch anything or let me kids touoh anything. I was so very disappointed. I cut my stay from 3 nights down to 2 after seeing it. Gross! I would never go back there.

Though I do not live far from Lancaster, my family and I wanted to stay in the area for a mini getaway weekend. Which by the way, Lancaster is perfect for this. We went to the Sight and Sound Theater then shopping and sight seeing the following day. This hotel looks great in the photos but it is nothing like it. Everything about this hotel screams fix […] me. The pool area and recreational area are completely unappealing. I was thankful, however, that the bathroom and the sheets were clean and after a couple of hours of the air conditioning unit being on it finally cooled the room. So I must say that for the money I paid I did have a good night sleep. But do not plan on spending a lot of time at this hotel. Lisez la suite

Hotel is old. With that in mind remember you get what you pay for. Me and my family needed a place to sleep. I was there a total of 9 hours and 8 of it was sleeping. The Gentleman and women at the desk at check in were very helpful/nice. She even called the room when we got in to ask if everything was OK. Air conditioner wasn't on so it was a bit hot. […] No big deal we turned it on and went to eat. Water stains in the ceiling by the windows. Bathroom was decent, water pressure good, door stuck and had a hard time getting out of the bathroom. Lisez la suite

Well, this was my first hotel on my way south in the USA, and quite a disappointment. The sheets had stains, which I thought had not come out in the wash, the carpet in the hotel corridor and steps very rather dirty. (The sheets had not been ironed). The man at the reception just apologised, and left it at that, though admittedly I hadn't asked to change […] the sheets. My family not pleased with this hotel at all. Location not bad---but unpleasant atmosphere in general. There were no workers around to ask for anything. The pool is in very poor cond. as you walked in the cement on bottom of pool falling apart could feel with feet. Land scaping not attractive, sidewalks bad shape along with stairs going to rooms. odor […] is bad. Bathrooms could be better no fan systems installed taking a shower is like a sauna very uncomfortable. my children even made some comments. Lisez la suite

cheap and awesome.

The stairs going up to room where outdoors, that can't be too much fun in the winter. Also, the hotel and room were extremely hot. AC worked well after running it to cool the room. Toilet kept running in the middle of night, and early in the morning when everyone was talking a shower we could hear everything! So annoying, and not relaxing at all!!

This is not a bad hotel to stay at. Price is good location is good, and the service is great. Not the greatest looking rooms, but a nice place to stay over.

This stay was for myself and my kids to have a nice little getaway overnight. We live within 30 miles and thought it would be fun to stay somewhere with an indoor pool and a game room. Unfortunately this was the worst hotel stay we have ever had. And we are not picky people. The pictures on the site, are not what you see when you get there. The front […] desk clerk was rude. The indoor pool had no lights. I took my 12 yr old and 5 yr old daughters to the pool and could not see my 5 year old, that's how dark it was. I went to the front desk and they were not aware of the lights not being on. Although after informing them, they never came to turn them on. The game room takes your quarters. Every game we tried to play took our money, without the chance to play. And you cannot get a refund at the front desk. You have to call a 1 800 number and who knows if or when you'll ever see that money again. The ice machines did not work and the wire that was connected to the wall was exposed. A child could touch this and get electrocuted or shocked. The candy machines did not work and the glass was broken on one of them. It looked like somebody had kicked the glass and there were sharp pieces of glass exposed. Anybody could end up going to the hospital with the wrong contact with that machine. There was a wedding at this hotel during our stay. The A/C unit was not working so the wedding party had to open the doors to get air, which led to hearing nothing but music and people including children from the wedding party running all over the place. This hotel is sadly in disrepair. It feels very unsafe and is extremely sketchy. When my friend who was dropping me off pulled up she started laughing and said "really, we can find you another hotel." Plus, it was more than I've spent for much better hotels elsewhere.

We were at this hotel for a car event in downtown Lancaster. It was convent for us to stay there. When we arrived we got our keys went to the room an it was clean an a nice overall room. But there was a couple of problems. There was a big hole the size of a tennis ball in the door that went out to the pool. The phone we could not use to get the front […] desk. We stopped ar the front desk to tell them an they claimed it did work but never could get them. Our clock did not work an they gave us another one which did not work also. Then early on Sat. morning the power went off an our room was pitch black you could not find your way around the room. No one checked on us. There are no emergency lights in the room or in the hall. We found out in the morning a truck hit a pole in the parking lot an they had no power till 2pm Sat. afternoon. The last thing on early Sun. morning I was watching TV in the dark an I saw something move on the floor an it was a mouse. So beware when you go here. Lisez la suite

The hotel is fairly large, and has the feel of a once-popular hotel that has fallen on hard times. There is considerable disrepair in some areas. The TV reception was terrible. The outside pool had electrical extension cords running around it, and the inside pool was HEAVILY chlorinated. But my room was nicely furnished, clean, and comfortable. Hotel had clearly sustained major water damage in the past. A strong smell of mold was everywhere. Not well kept up.

The television was limited in channels and it was fuzzy, bad connection?. The hotel was not dirty but it could use some TLC. For a nights stay I won't complain. You get what you pay for. PS; The staff was nice.

It is at a very convenenient location. The hotel managerment has a lot room to improve. Before it did that. Enjoy the rate.

Just a hotel room for a good value. Close to Amtrak which was our need. Staff was friendly. Good place if you're on a budget.
