Bonne impression de l'hôtel. 2 séjours de 2 jours chacun et à chaque fois, un personnel gentil, serviable et prêt à nous aider. Le service de taxi affilié à l'hôtel est performant et rassurant.

We have gone to this hotel over the years and have always liked it. The staff very friendly and the rooms have been renovated and are really nice. The Nikko is centrally located to some very good shopping and eating establishments. We are planning on going back again and soon.

"Hotel Nikko in Mexico City"
I always stay at Nikko in the Polanco area. you're so close to area restaurants, and from there, you can access the entire city for your business meetings. It rates 5 stars in my book!
"hotel Nikko Mexico, D.F."
There was no electricity for eight hours
"Absolutely Dreadful Experience"
The hotel looks great, but the service is just awful. As others have said, they nickel and dime you constantly. Expect to be charged for basic amenities such as WiFi service and water (beyond the two warm bottles they leave in your hotel room each day). A visit to the 7-11 around the corner revealed that they are making at least a 500% markup on local […] prices for the water - and this is in a country where drinking the tap water is not recommended. As the week went on, things went from bad to worse. They added charges to my bill for things I didn't even use - such as the minibar. The hotel taxi service charges about 50% more than the local standard, and they have the audacity to add an additional 8% "commission" if you pay by credit card or charge it to your room. There are several bars and restaurants on-site. Expect to pay central Manhattan prices for cold food, slow service and mediocre wine. If you go to breakfast, I would recommend allowing at least one hour. The manager is not interested in hearing your complaints, and it feels like the staff are only there to squeeze as much money as possible out of you. They seem to regard their guests as walking ATMs. Finally, for reasons I cannot go into because of the terms and conditions of posting a review, I absolutely cannot recommend this hotel for single female travelers and/or non-Spanish speakers. If this was the last hotel in Mexico City, I would buy a tent and take my chances camping in the park. Lisez la suite
"A nice hotel in a nice neighborhood."
Everything was great. Very nice service and helpful staff and very helpful concierge. The new pastry shop has great goodies. Our only disappointment was that we ordered breakfast from the menu (not buffet) at El Jardin resteraunt and it was cold, slow and service was poor. Otherwise the hotel gets very high marks.

Nice Executive lounge with a cocktail and snack hour.
"hotel nikko Mexicoo City"
Beautiful hotel and the surroundings are a must see. I highly recommend it if you visit Mexico City.
"Beautiful place to stay in Polanco, Mexico City"
The hotel is about a mile from the President's official residence, and as you might expect, it's a great neighborhood -- safe to walk around at night, and with lots of shopping/dining options. The hotel is gorgeous, I had a fantastic room, and all the hotel staff was bilingual (Spanish+English). I was there for work, and the location was close to my […] meetings, so it was perfect. If you're going for tourism, Chapultepec Park is the only key site that's close to the hotel, but the Zocalo is just about 30 minutes away on the subway. Highly recommended. Lisez la suite
"Good service. Good hotel"
Good service starting at reception and extending to restaurants. Central location
"Hotel Nikko - great for business travelers"
The hotel has great service, comfortable rooms with all the ammenities. Choose king size bed not the twins. Great restaurants and coffee shop inside the hotel. I only had to leave for my meetings. Even recommend having breakfast meetings at El Jardin restaurant or dinners with your clients at any of the other restaurants.
"Nikko, one of the best"
This is a great hotel, great location and the staff is super friendly. Would not hesitate to go back there although is on the pricey side.
"Great Place"
Front desk staff was aloof but the place was very nice and comfortable.
"Stay at the Nikko while in Mexico City"
The Nikko is a fabulous place to stay in Mexico City. It is located in the chic Polanco area, safe to walk around at night. The staff and concierge service is top notch and the rooms have lots of amenities and quite comfortable beds. The pool and finess center are great, but the best feature is the fabulous on-site bakery and pastry shop. Very reasonable […] and great food and chocolates. I have stayed at the Nikko many times and it never fails to totally satisfy me. Currently undergoing renovation (but not inconveniently so), it should even be more terrific in a month or two when completed. Lisez la suite
"Great facility, but they will nickely and dime you"
I loved the condition of the rooms, and the cleanliness, the neighborhood also is very nice. However watch your wallet, nothing is free. If you need a taxi do not ask the hotel to call you one. I asked the cabbie why his price was so high from the hotel to my business meeting and so cheap coming back. He said the hotel has their own "taxis" and the […] fares are 3 times the normal Mexico City rate. The only way around it is to leave the building, tell them you don't want a taxi, and then hail one yourself. Breakfast was good, but at such a high price it better be. Lots of local resturaunts in the area to walk to and get just as good a meal for 1/3 the price. No choice for the internet, if you want to use it you must pay a very high price per day. Even the price of the room was non negotiable, but by going through Hotels.com I got about 25% off the rate. Lisez la suite
hotel telephone charges are way above the status of the hotel. And the charging for calls I did not make reduces this hotel status to 3 Star. Never again

The service is about average for a 5-star hotel. Only beef was that room maid attempted to access my room without knocking. But bell staff and front desk were good. Hotel room could stand some updating.
the clerk stole mu american express # they charge me 80 dollars for incidentals and I didnt incurre any
"Excellent Hotel in Polanco"
A great hotel which helped make our wedding night very special! I was booked in the night before and was able to upgrade to a junior suite which was perfect for my budget and special night. I had 15 guests staying at the same time and the concierge service was excellent in helping me and my non-Spanish speaking guests. Hotel is located in excellent, […] safe, area of the city with close attractions near-by. Will be staying again. Lisez la suite
"Nice Hotel in Good Location"
I enjoyed my stay as the hotel was nice and secure in a good location and the rooms were large and comfortable. My only issue is on check-in the staff insisted on making a copy of my credit card, but the copy machine was broken so I had to walk over tot he busienss center to make a copy. Other than this, everything else was perfect.
"What a deal!"
This was by far the best deal I have gotten on Hotels.com and loved it!
Best location .....
"Great Restaurant"

"Hotel Nikko - a great alternative"
This hotel is in a great part of Mexico City. On a park and next to the Intercontinental, W, and JW Marriott. Normally stay at Intercontinental but they were full. Nikko was cheaper, as nicely furnished, better breakfast buffet, more modern bathroom, but 25-30% smaller room and had to pay for internet . Would stay at this hotel again.
"Hotel Nikko Mexico"
This is a very nice hotel. There is some fantastic artwork (sculptures/paintings) in the lobby area. The room was clean and VERY nice... we stayed at 5 different hotels in Mex City and this was definitely the nicest.
"Nikko - Mexico City"
I have stayed numerous times at this hotel. It is located in the quiet safe Polanco district, with upscale dining, shopping, and parks, all within walking distance. Rooms are clean and decent size. Check out Casa Hevia right down the street for a memorable dining experience. For touring the city, I highly recommend the inexpensive double decker tour […] bus which stops on Reforma, a couple blocks from the hotel. There are three interconnected bus routes which explore most interesting areas of the city. Enjoy! Lisez la suite

"Great Location but overpriced"
The hotel is in the most posh part of Mexico City however it is overpriced for what the provide. The rooms are quite small and very basic. The room service is adequate at best. The gym is incredible.
"Hotel Nikko"
We were very pleased with our experience at the hotel Nikko in Mexico City. The staff, rooms, and the location could not have been better. . Excellent shopping and restaurants near by.The hotel , as I guess do many other hotels, provide their own cab service and that was wonderful for us. The cab drivers all dress in suits and their transportaion is […] very comfortable. The concierge was most helpful in making all of our reservations . I give this hotel a definite 5 star!
