Zurich hotels are pricey! This one was, too, but best price near the train station and reviewed well on this site. It was not a large room by any means, but very clean with continental breakfast included and an option to order eggs. Computer was available but use was quite high, too. Less than 400 metres from the Zurich mainstation and also 400 metres from the start of the old part of town, the position is excellent. By Zurich standards, which are expensive, this was good value for money. The passages look a little tired, the carpets must be overdue for replacement. Continental breakfast was included and you could order a cooked […] breakfast if you wanted. Reception was friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again as all I want is a clean, comfortable room in a central location, near the station with a choice of restaurants nearby, all of this at a comparatively low price. The Arlette Hotel, while not luxurious, was adequate for our needs for a convenient, comfortable base to explore Zurich It is situated close to the train station and the old city.

This hotel is old fashion, but it's very well maintained, and with modern fixtures; we were asked to leave the room key, which wasn't a bad thing, but it did take me back in time. Despite it being old and old fashion, the place is very very clean; you won't find a piece of lint. The only complaint I have is the towels, they are the old fashion thin […] kind, feels like you are wiping yourself dry with a table runner, not very comfortable. Other than that, no real compliant at all. The room is decent size for Zurich; location is steps away from the train station, and breakfast was included, which is a nice touch. Lisez la suite

The room is small and old The elevator is old and cramped, one person only and very slow The nickel and dime you for everything, wi-fi is not included and is pretty expensive and does not work that well The breakfast is lousy, you only get bread, butter, and jelly, you have to pay for the rest a la carte The location is right near the train station […] which is nice You have to drop off your key at the front desk every time you leave Overall, I would avoid this hotel Lisez la suite

Zurich hotels are super expensive. this place is a great deal for the price, very well located steps from the station and the pedestrian zone with bars and food, but it is also a quiet street. room was excellent for a single room, very comfy bed and pillow. highly recommended.

We were very pleased with the location of the hotel - really close to the station (convenient as we had planned to travel out to Rhine Falls and Uetilberg on 2 out of the 3 days there) as well as restaurants in the Niederdorf Strasse (old town) area. We were pleasantly surprised that a small breakfast selection of coffee/tea and rolls was included. […] Although the room was rather small as per usual european standard, the bed was also one of the most comfortable I have slept in and room was very clean. My friend was disturbed by early morning noise of someone vacuuming in the corridors, but being a heavy sleeper this did not bother me. Apart from that, we found the receptionist / family who run the business to be quite helpful - our flight was delayed and they were happy to let us use the phone to call the airline - thank you so much for that! And just small thoughtful things like having umbrellas for guests to borrow, came in useful when it was raining heavily on our third day there. The hotel is on the expensive side by global standards but I would say affordable by swiss standards. Lisez la suite

Prides itself on being well-located close to main train station and is fully justified. Only a few minutes walk, yet just off the main roads that surround the train station (and tram system junctions). My single room on 5th floor was quite small but very comfortable and had all the facilities I needed. Unusually for a city centre hotel it also proved […] very quiet at night (maybe I was lucky?). Helt gtreit hotell. Meget hyggelig betjening, rene og ok rom, meget sentralt. Continental frokost inkludert, men mulig å bestille div. eggretter etc, Alt i alt verdt pengene, og et hotell jeg vil benytte igjen fordi det er rimelig, godt nok og sentralt
