Dommage, hotel propre, bien placé, personnel aimable mais beaucoup trop bruyant nous avons très mal dormi, la climatisation était trop bruyante et en plus il y avait des travaux de voirie à proximité de l'hotel , le ballet des engins et camions a commencé alors qu'il faisait encore nuit. Les stores de la chambre n'étaient pas assez occultants.

Hotel constitué de 3 hotels côte à côte . Le notre , le Maxine , ouvert 24h sur 24 avec une musique assourdissante . Heureusement , ils nous avaient donné la chambre la plus éloignée donc pas de bruit une fois à l'intérieur mais vue sur un mur à 2 mètres de la fenètre . Entretien des chambres déplorable . Il nous a fallu plusieurs fois aller réclamer […] car en rentrant de la plage le soir la chambre n'était toujours pas faite. Une des personnes de la réception , un Ricain avec queue de cheval m'a carrément dit que si je n'étais pas satisfait je n'avais qu'à appeler moi même le sercice d'entretien . Bonjour la politesse et on sent que le client Français n'est pas le bienvenu . A recommander peut être pour des trés jeunes fétards mais passez votre chemin si vous voulez du calme Lisez la suite

Hôtel bien situé sur Miami Beach, je le conseille à ceux qui y vont pour s'amuser.Miami Beach étant mouvementé quasiment toute la semaine je le déconseille à ceux qui veulent se "reposer" (il y a des SPA à North Miami Beach pour cela !). Je ne recommande pas trop leur restaurant d'à côté que j'ai trouvé très cher et peu satisfaisant (Kung fu sushi...). […] Open Bar de 19h à 20h, chambre nettoyée et nouvelles serviettes tous les jours. Service de navette gratuite depuis et vers l'aéroport (économie d'environ $80 qui correspondrait à un aller-retour vers l'aéroport). Bon plan niveau soirée (pass VIP + Open Bar toute la soirée...) pour les clubs les plus réputés de Miami Beach (Cameo, Mansion...) Wifi gratuit, la plage à proximité, télé et téléphone dans les chambres, climatisation réglable... Que demande le peuple ? Cet hôtel est parfait selon moi, j'y retournerai avec grand plaisir. Très bon hôtel en plein centre de South Beach, à 5 min à pied de la plage. L'hôtel est propre et le service de qualité. Il y a deux piscines à l'hôtel, trois restaurants et trois bars (cocktails gratuits le soir), ainsi qu'une navette gratuite pour rejoindre l'aéroport. En résumé, un très bon hôtel pour profiter de Miami.

Hotel bien situé sur South Beach. Parties communes manque de ménage. Des 2 batiments préférer celui de la réception clair, gai car celui du Maxine est trop sombre, trop tristre, chambre vue piscine bruyantes.

bon accueil. chambre très propre, mais petite si vous utilisez les deux kings beds pas de place pour les valises. et surtout ajoutez aux frais le valet parking à 32 $ la nuit. le prix d'une nuit de motel...pour la voiture

on a attendu la navette à l'aéroport (qui n'est jamais venue) jusqu'à presque minuit!!! La derniere est à 23H... Bel hôtel, bien reçu, dans le couloir qui donne à notre chambre empeste l'humidité. Surprise arrivé dans la chambre, la déco plutôt sympa!!! pas de petit déj, mais la piscine sur le toit est très originale. La musique jusqu'à environ 2H du […] matin est très présente, même au 2eme étage de l'hôtel. Très proche de la plage, avec matelas et serviette gratuits. Nice hotel, room was great with wooden floor and clean. Bed was very comfortable Good location - WiFi was not working well and they should really seriously fix it. Next time I go to Miami I will make sure they have upgraded their WiFi setup before booking this hotel because I really need it.

Hotel was in a great location, but rooms were a lot more run down than expected. Our air conditioning broke and it was miserably hot in our room. The front desk told us they would take a look at it...and at 4am told us it was fixed and it was not. My friends and I stayed up all night because the heat was unbearable. I was disappointed that the hotel is NOT on the beach side of Collins Avenue (I should have done my research). Also the rooms were very tiny and white. All it needed was a straight jacket and we could have made a Jack Nicholson movie. Staff not the best, requested quiet room so we were given room directly above bar, opposite elevator, on the street.......! Hotel is actually 3 separate buildings, can't put restaurant bills on room, need to pay cash. Good location though, suitable for partying.

If you like to ride bikes they do have free rentals included with your stay. The happy hour is nice and it is also complimentary. The valet parking is expensive. $25 per day to use the valet and the resort fee is $15 per day as well. You need to consider these charges, when budgeting for this hotel. I had to wait over 35 minutes for the hotel to recieve and process my reservation! I watched at 20 people check in without a problem! Besides that my experience was great! I really enjoyed my stay at the Catalina hotel!

We booked through hotels.com and were only staying one night. The staff put us in the LOUDEST room ever, literally we were screaming to hear eachother. Also when we walked into the room there was garbage in the toilet and the trash hadn't been taken out. When I called the front desk they told me they were totally booked and couldn't move us, so I looked […] up to see if I could book a room on their website (where it appeared there were many openings.) We have to thank the exceptionally courteous staff at the Catalina Beach Club-- especially Juan who upgraded us to a nicer room in a quieter building---- the Catalina Hotel and Beach Club is actually 3 buildings, all with street front bar/restaurants - live music, comfy seating-- a lot of fun-- the middle building is where the music/free happy hour […] is and it is definitely a younger crowd (my friend and I middle aged!)-- but the north building proved to be way quieter and it was a pleasantly decorated place, great room with very comfortable king bed, and pull out sleeper sofa (not so comfortable, but handy) Also, 2 pretty pools-- we thought the bar at Maxine's Bistro, one of hotel restaurants, had best mojito in town----For the price this was a great deal and short block from beach with beach chairs inc (chair and umbrella rentals $ if hotel doesn't include-- good to know as South Beach isn't cheap- lots of hidden costs it seemed)-- at any rate, this is close enough to the bars and restaurants on Ocean Drive-- like 5 blocks down and one block over-- would stay here again! I chose the Catalina based off of pictures and decent reviews. When I arrived I found that the hotel was spread over three older hotels and most of them needed updates. Their restaurants were better than their hotel service. The check in was frantic and the night we stayed our neighbors were fighting so loudly that the cops were called. They sent me to a sister hotel due to over booking over 20 blocks away. The valet parking takes 30 minutes to bring your car. They wanted to charge me $60 to switch to a double bed room vs king. The only thing exciting was the Rooft Top Pool and Bar.

We stayed in the Dorset , the southern most of the three hotels under the Catalina group . Room was lovely but quite loud as it was looking out over Collins.. Service was her really very slow but the staff were friendly enough. The highlight was the cabana around the pool surrounded by huge bamboos in Maxine's. would stay again.

I have stayed here twice now. I would have to say for the price the value of what you get can not be compared. They have free airport shuttle, free drinks from 7-8 and free wi fi. The location is within walking distance to everything. The Ritz and Delano is just across the street The beach is also across the street and they do have have beach area at […] the beach. We found all the staff to be very nice and and right there when ever we needed something. for $200 more a night we could have and considered staying at the Ritz but did not see the value in that. If you are looking to be in the heart of all the restuarants, beach, shopping and still on a budget I would recommend this place. I have no problem in paying luxury and top of the line if i see the value. Here I just did not see staying accross the street to worth an added $1200 to the trip. How i determined that is by also considering if i had to pay for wi fi, taxi, difference in drink prices at the pool etc. the differnce would have been about $1200.00 for 4 nights. Also note there is a difference in rooms You will want to stay in the D rooms the hallways in Maxines are dirty so if you can overlook look the hallways in the Maxine building for the savings you should enjoy your stay. I stayed at this hotel during spring break with friends. We enjoyed our stay here although we didn't have very much light in our room. I also requested a 2 double bed room and when we got to the hotel our rooms weren't ready and we were told the rooms are first come first serve so therefore we got stuck with a King size bed room. Tyrell is the concierge […] & he was a HUGE help during our stay at the Catalina hotel. The bartenders were amazing and made us feel very welcomed. But the staff in charge of checking in and out were very rude and didn't explain the fee's and deposits proper way. She never apologized for the confusion and lack of communication during our stay which made us feel very uncomfortable. This hotel should be considered for adults only since there is a live 24hr DJ on the main level and is directly on the strip of Miami. I was kind of uncomfortable sitting at the bar at 2am while watching children ran around in the lounge area, or going for a late night swim while children were steady splashing water towards our way. For the extraordinary amount of money I paid to stay at the Catalina Beach Club I was highly unimpressed. It was dirty, loud, and the smallest hotel I've ever stayed in. They overbooked the hotel during our stay and the rooms looked like hostels. When we'd try to call to the front desk for service, no one would answer. Our room was never cleaned and […] our room keys would randomly stop working, locking us out of our room. Over the two days we were there, we had to get FOUR new sets of keys just to get in our room.
