Accueil Correct, calme, belles chambres et excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous n'avons pas essayé les diners et petits déjeuners. Pour le diner Williams est à 10mn et une très bonne adresse : le Red Raven (compter tout de même 30$ par pers).

Situé à proximité du Grand Canyon (attention, une heure et demie de route quand même), en pleine nature le long de l'I-40, cet hôtel peut à la fois servir de lieu de passage et de lieu de séjour (qualité des installations, activités proposées). On est clairement un cran au dessus du standing du motel typique. Paradoxalement, cela signifie qu'il n'y […] a pas de frigo ni de micro-ondes dans la chambre ; les machines à glace sont heureusement présentes. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas inclus dans le prix de la chambre, mais vu son faible coût, sa bonne qualité et le cadre agréable dans lequel il est servi, il ne faut pas hésiter à régler ce petit supplément à l'accueil (en cash de préférence dans un tel cas). Attention : l'hôtel n'est pas situé à Williams, mais à 5 ou 6 miles en direction de l'est, vers Flagstaff ; pas forcément facile à trouver de nuit. Par ailleurs, toute la région est en altitude (environ 2 200 m de mémoire), ce qui permet des températures agréables en plein été, mais peut poser des problèmes à certaines personnes. Enfin, l'hôtel disposant d'écuries, les odeurs animales sont fortes quand on se promène autour de l'hôtel (pas de problème dans la chambre). Lisez la suite

Ce n'est certainement pas le meilleur hotel. Mais pour la region (Grand Canyon), il s'agit d'un relativement bon rapport qualite/prix. Le restaurant n'est pas mauvais et de toute maniere mieux que ce que l'on trouve dans l'attrape touristes qu'est la pseudo ville de Williams.

loved this place. Everyone was very friendly, and had alot of things to do. Very clean.

The location is a bit decieving because it's not actually in Williams. If I would have realized the actual location I probably would not have stayed there. The rooms were nice. It took a long time for the hot water to come on in the morning for our showers. The free breakfast is not a free breakfast but a food credit for certain items on the menu. We booked a room at the Mountain Ranch & Resort because we were guarenteed a smoking room, only to arrive and be told they are non-smoking facility. Either Hotels.com screwed up or Mountain Ranch is not honest in their policy. Almost 1/4 of the people in this country still smoke, yet businesses like Mountain Ranch & Resort would rather alienate 1/4 […] of their potential customers instead of buying an ozone machine that will effectivey get rid of any smoke smell in any room. The grounds are nice to walk around in and its pet friendly. Their restaurant offers some vegetarian options and their dinner was tasty. The breakfast was cold and the waitress was rather unfriendly. All together it was a peaceful and pleasant stay.

We happened to stay on a night that dropped to 22°. This hotel didn't have central air but a tiny swamp cooler in the bathroom area. Needless to say, in the sleeping area, we froze!!!

Definitely family friendly!

What an awesome hotel/resort. Everything looked new and very nicely decorated. There is a big grass yard with astro-turf basket ball court, a volleyball net, outdoor pool, and an excellent restaurant. They even offer horseback riding and evening campfire with smores. The rooms were immaculate - they must have been recently refurbished with tiled bathroom, […] granite counters and very spacious, a lot bigger than we are used to. The staff was awesome, especially the restaurant and lounge crew. Food was fantastic and very affordable. We will definitely come back here again. If there is any downside at all, it is the location - a few miles east of downtown Williams (across the freeway from the deer park). The only bad thing was the front desk call us early morning before we were awake to move our car because a uhaul had pulled in towing a car and could not back up however the uhaul did not leave until 2 hours later. They did not have to call that early and wake us up.

We loved the country ambience with a resort style to boot.

We didn't know what to expect when we booked this hotel but we were limited do to last minute booking. We were pleasantly surprised first that it was right off the highway, then at how nice the staff was, the coupons for $30 off for dinner and $4 per person for breakfast and then when we saw how clean our rooms were in an older hotel. The bedding was […] exceptional. Our kids enjoyed the pool and spa. Derrick, our waiter for dinner, was extremely pleasant, courteous and efficient. Overall we had a wonderful dining experience. The only negatives were the soft beds (not good for bad backs), the ice machine wasn't turned on so we had to go without ice and the very rude lady who was serving breakfast. We were shouted at upon arrival for breakfast and embarrassed in front of the other hotel guests who all felt sorry for us. We realize she was understaffed because someone called in sick but that was not our fault. We handled her nastiness with a $1 tip for each of our tables. We hope she got the message. Lisez la suite

We chose this hotel because of the cost and the food options for breakfast and dinner. They were a great resource for information for first time vacationers to the Grand Canyon. The front desk people were so helpful and friendly. The food at the restaurant was better than any other restaurant you can dine at and the credit given for dinner and breakfast […] was a bonus for us. The food was sooo good. Great service reservattion ready food great lots activite

We stayed here after driving in from Las Vegas which was a nice riding distance with kids. If we had driven another hour into Grand Canyon, they would have been miserable, and we couldn't have enjoyed the changing scenery. This was an older motor hotel but nicely updated. We had two doors--one by the parking lot, and one that opened into the pool/courtyard […] area. The bathroom had updated vanity, tile and fixtures. The walls had been re-textured and nicely painted. Our towels and linens were clean and of nice quality (not worn at all). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel was not far off the highway, but still peaceful. My children enjoyed watching the rabbits and riding horses (ages 6+). The motel didn't have any restaurants near it, but it was a short drive to the Williams historic district (maybe 10-15 minutes). When we first arrived here, my wife wanted to turn around. But I assured her that the reviews of the remodeled rooms were all 5 star. We were both amazed how well they'd updated these rooms. No complaints about amenities and appearance. HOWEVER, the a/c unit is mounted in the rear quarters of the room (the bathroom vanity area), and the air does NOT […] reach the sleeping area in the front room. It was a very warm night in the bedroom. In hindsight, I should have insisted the front desk bring me a floor fan to blow the cold air from the bathroom into the bedroom. Be prepared if you stay here in the summer. The restaurant was very nice, as was the food preparation. Unfortunately, the $30 dinner food certificate we received at our 9pm check-in went unused. Had we been aware we were going to receive this certificate (it wasn't mentioned on the hotels.com website), we would have left the Grand Canyon a bit earlier to take advantage. Lisez la suite

This was a quiet place to stay with lots of birds and rabbits to watch. Dining room has a great view of mountains.

Although it is a quality inn, We were looking for staying at this hotel. Unfortunately the experience was unpleasant at best. This is really an overpriced motel. Not a resort, not a ranch. Extremely outdated 70s. the pool is smaller than an handkerchief, and not heated! The size of a hot tub. The bed comforters were overly warn. A group of people in […] the next door room were extremely loud and disrespectful, screaming and slamming doors at very late hours of the night. it woke us and our children up. Acceptional location for National Park visits. Very neat and clean. Surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Scenic setting, large grassy area in courtyard. Rooms were nice and hotel staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

The showers were cold both days that my family stayed there. Since the hotel is in the middle of no where (it's even far from the grand canyon and the actual town of williams), there were only a few T.V chanels that were extremely fuzzy. Pool Very small, almost a joke and the Spa didn't work. Beds were nice and there is a horseback riding place a few […] feet from the parking lot. Expect to PAY for everything, Gym, Animals, crib, extra bed, and any more then two people. Will never stay here again, but rather somewhere closer to the Grand Canyon or even in Williams, AZ. I was very pleased with the location as we traveled each and every day to various places thru out the northern state of Arizona. The staff at the Quality Inn were also very accomadating as my requests were met with a smile. Good Job!

Very quiet, clean facility.

The hotel is older and the rooms are not modern. The beds are much smaller than a normal bed. Nice staff though.

This hotel is not at all worth the amount of money they charge for a night. The room was bare and cold, the heater is old and did work effectively. There is no microwave or fridge and these are called "suites". The room had a weird electrical problem, the tv and light switch were wired together so everytime i turned off the light, the tv went off too. […] When i called the front desk, they asked me to turn of the light from the light fitting (which had no switch), so I had to pull the bulb for the light to turn off. After check out, the hotel charged me for the night even though I had already prepaid through hotels.com and I am still trying to get a hold of them because nobody is answering the phone. This is a great hotel. The room was lovely, it was quiet and peaceful in the mountains. The hotel restaurant was very good. We were very satisfied with everything.

We needed a place to stay for just one night before spending the day at the Grand Canyon. Granted we had just left the Arizona Biltmore, but while this this Quality Inn was decent it by no means felt like a resort. The staff behaved like they worked at a roadside motel, which is essentially the case. The rooms were bare bones save for a few little extra […] niceties. The breakfast included with the upgraded room we paid extra for expired at 9 AM -- awfully early for a weekend morning at a "resort" -- and they did not inform of us of that. One weird thing about the property is the 60 or so gigantic bright lights that line the small entry bridge. Overkill to say the least and a huge waste of energy. Room was clean - older building with updated decor. Air conditioning worked well. Our kids enjoyed visiting the horses and bull in the back of hotel, as well as exploring the tee pees and Old West building in the front. Breakfast choices were limited to cereal, toast and donuts. Overall a decent place to stay and definitely a great deal.

The mountain ranch hotel is well sign posted and convenient to Williams and other tourist sights,the rooms are a good size and clean although there were a few stains on the carpets overall cleanliness was excellent. We were able to have a $5 refund a day as we declined room service, the hotel is promoting energy saving an excellent concept . We ate […] in the hotel on 2 nights the food was good but on the Friday night the service was slow.Breakfast was good value at only a few dollars a person and there was plenty of choice., There was a smell from the stables (but this was to be expected )as we were walking to our room but once in our room we could not smell anything. Being english and a drinker of hot tea was inconvienced not to have a kettle available but coffee making facilities were in the room and plently of extra supplies available in reception. It would have been nice to have laundry facilities as we were travelling and needed to wash our clothes, there were ironing facilities in the room. The views of the San Francisco Peaks were fantastic from this hotel. This hotel is ideally suited for access to Williams and the Grand Canyon and only 30 miles from Flagstaff. We stayed at Quality Inns across the country and this location is a definitely stand-out. Why stay in the place down the street with the concrete parking lot when you could stay here for less? My kids wanted to stay forever...Don't be put off by the looks of it on the outside. Beds were super comfy and every room has doors on the front & back side. Stay […] away if you're allergic to horses, because the stables are right next door. But for us it just added to our "ranch resort" experience. We ate at the on-site restaurant & fed the horses grass in the morning. My husband even got a workout in at the on-site fitness center. If you're in this area, don't stay anywhere else! Its a nice hotel it met our needs. Its outside of Williams by itself across I-40 from the deer farm. We liked this hotel because of its price, pool & spa and the restaurant on site.The hotels in Williams were a little expensive for just a one night stay and the motels were just motor lodges with no pools, walk or drive to a place to eat and they cost […] around the same as this hotel did.We used the pool & hot tub it was good and clean also ate at the restaurant/ bar.The food was good. The steaks were on the pricey side but other item were priced o.k. and at check in we received a buy 1 get 1 half off which was great. At the bar they had a couple of people and 1 of the TV's had ESPN on. i don't know if they get any of the sports packages. The room was good and had lots of room .Beds were good full size with lots of pillows.The bathroom had separate sink w/ mirror & hair dyer on the outside and a full size tub inside.The room looked to have been remodeled recently. There are horse stables that offer trail rides behind the building were you park you car.You can park in front as i did but it is a shorter walk if you park in back.You will smell the stables (not very strong).But we were on the 2nd floor in front of the pool with nice views of the mountains and when we were inside we didn't smell it at all.
