"pleasantly surprised..."
the room looked exactly like on the internet... and it looked great...

Great value for the price. Clean rooms and decent breakfast.

"adequate for a short stay"
The motel was adequate ...not great. Biggest problem was odors. When we checked in, everyone complained about the strong smell of smoke in the corridor (2nd floor). Also, there was a "dog" smell in the stairwell. Overall, it was Ok for the price.
"nice little place"
Had been traveling all day and picked a place out of the blue. I was surprised at how nice the rooms were. The Staff was friendly the kids had a great time in the indoor heated pool. Breakfast was good. The only problem was the shower was quite cold in the morning!

Very nice property for the price. Great front desk staff and we were very impressed with the room. Great location for a pet.

Nice staff, no frills continental breakfast, convinient location. Pillows were ok but not enough (2 on each bed and 1 on a shelf) needed 2 per person.

The front desk staff was helpful. Breakfast was basic continental style. Bed was a place to sleep. Pillows could have been better
"Good enough for an overnight stop"
Rooms were updated with bathroom tile and large screen TV. Clean enough for an overnight stop. The rooms were better than the hallway leading into the rooms. Lobby was updated as well. Fair for the price.
Description of hotel said that it had been renovated in April 2011. It looked like there was some carpet changed in the lobby & some paint on a few walls. The rest of the carpet in the halls & rooms looked like a throwback to the '80's. Smell of smoke was very strong in both the lobby and the rooms. No elevator and the pool needed major work. They did […] have new flat screen tv's and a refrigerator and microwave in the room though, which was extremely helpful. Also, the breakfast was very good. I guess it was a 2-star hotel so I got what I paid for. I probably would have been okay with it if the smell of smoke wasn't so strong. Lisez la suite
"New Victorian Inn, York, NE"
After researching the options for our overnight stay in York, I chose the New Victorian Inn for price and accommodations. I passed my information along to the relative we were meeting there, and she booked a room as well. We were all pleased with our rooms. The hotel manager was also very helpful in directing us to local restaurants.

Rooms were great...large king bed, big TV, and clean. Hotel recently renewed....it shows. Great value compared to hotels in area considered 2 and a half or 3 stars.

"Best and least expensive"
Out of 4 motels we used in the Nebraska area this was the best.
"Very Accomodating"
The New Victorian Inn in York has a homey feel you don't get with some of the big chains. Extended breakfast hours are very convenient.
"Unremarkable"
The motel was clean and convenient to the town and freeway, but everything else was unremarkable. The hall carpets were worn and the entire motel just seemed "tired." The non-smoking room was fine, but the hallway right outside the room reeked of smoke. The front desk people acted as if they really did not care if you were there or not, and the breakfast […] was very basic. "I enjoyed my stay here."
The hotel looked newly renivated and the staff was extremely nice (one being pretty darn cute). They had a flat screen tv and a big shower, though I think my room was for someone handycapped because there was a phone by the toilet and a seat for the shower. Parking was really weird, small lot without defined spaces. Other than that, I enjoyed it.
"Clean, comfortable, affordable stay"
The hotel is clean and well-maintained. Staff was helpful and courteous, rooms are clean and well appointed. Breakfast included a nice variety of hot and cold items. Cookies and coffee availabel in the lobby at check-in. Staff treated us like valued customers. An excellent value for the price!

"GREAT PLACE WHEN STOPPING FOR THE NIGHT!"
This waas a nice place with freindly people. It was a good place to stop on our trip. Halfwway point stop for the night and was good price for the purpose.
