Comfort Hotel Holberg - Bergen

Un peu excentré mais très propre et bien équipé. Environ 5-10min à pied du centre ville de Bergen en passant par une rue marchande. Coin calme.

hôtel pas trop éloigné du centre mais un peu quand même, quand on doit parcourir la distance gare-hôtel ou hôtel-navette pour l'aéroport, ça semble un peu long à rouler ses bagages sur les rues pavées. C'est un hôtel simple qui n'a pas de cachet particulier et se trouve dans une zone tranquille

Un hotel bien placé pour une étape à Bergen ou pour visiter la ville. Chambre petite, pas spécialement confortable mais fait l'affaire pour une étape ou un séjour court.

Reasonably priced hotel (by Norwegian standards!) within walking distance of the Fish Market/Quai. Clean and comfortable although the AC didn't cope well in the bedroom. They didn't have a twin room available for my friend and I on arrival early evening and we had to stand around for some time, refusing to be palmed off with a double. This hotel is very modern in its rooms and public space. Rooms are clean but quite small and lighting is oddly dim. Public space is rather disjointed. On the plus side complimentary coffee and tea are provided all day. Location is ten minutes walk from center, which was fine for us because it was quieter. A fairly central location (10 minute walk from train station) the hotel is convenient to Bergen's Quay and main tourist areas. The Rooms (and bathroom) are small but very clean and fit for purpose - don't plan on lounging in the room but if visiting this region, you shouldn't be! Good breakfast catering for healthy and 'english' breakfast types! Free […] coffee facilities and internet available in the hotel lobby. Overall, a good hotel that meets its own hype. However, one word of warning on Bergen - disappointing. Restaurants are scarce and then either savagely overpriced (even for Norway) and not up to standard (dirty). A real tourist trap unfortunately. Bergen itself is pretty from afar but up close they need to clean up their act. Many budget hotels in Norway are considerably below standards for comparable lodging in America, especially for room size. I found this hotel to be better than average in this respect.

Excellent location. Good breakfast.

Hotel is nice and the service generally good. Had less than satisfactory help at check-in. No valet. No luggage carts. Normal size elevators (2) Easier if you travel light. No practical parking. Only 8 spots under hotel. Other options are approximately 1/3 of mile away in either direction at public parking areas for 320 Krona a day. Inconvenient because […] you can't leave luggage in the car safely. Right now, it looks like for at least another year, the city has torn up the southern side of the main quay and all the retail is suffering with board walks and fencing hindering walking. I would advise staying at the Clarion Collection Hotel on the North side of the quay for now where most of the tourist action is anyway. The Holberg breakfasts were very good with a good selection of breakfast meats and eggs and delicious breads. Other experiences with the staff was good, but less friendly than other comfort hotels that we have stayed at here in Norway. Shower was very good, large room, good internet access. Plentiful electrical outlets and working space.Very clean room. Not sure if air-conditioning was avaiiable or not. Our room had radiators in it. Lisez la suite

Easy walk (15-20 min) from train station, very accomodating front desk that went out of their way to help us; very good Sunday brunch and breakfast, easy walk to Hanseatic Wharf and surrounding area. We had a great stay. Only one small drawback ....we were there in April and couldn't find a way to change the temperature in the room so we slept with […] the window open which was fine for us. The hotel was convenient, efficient, clean and had an ample and varied breakfast. Excellent free wi fi and free waffles in the pm. Free coffee and tea at all times. The room was compact, but all t he necessities.

A perfect location and very friendly stff to greet you. Facilities include good quality wifI and a great Scandanavian breakfast. It took me a while to sort out a few things eg the free coffee and tea in the restaurant - maybe I should have asked the staff earlier. the only minor negative was the single pillow and doona on the queen size bed, I know […] I booked a single room but it looks cheap. 10 minute walk to all the shopping

The location was great for us; we arrived by boat from Stavanger and it docked just two blocks away. We were close to the sites in Bergen. While in Norway we had chosen to stay in smaller, more intimate hotels both for the flavor of the country but also the price. The Holberg certainly felt more like an American style hotel, but it was affordable through […] Hotels.com and the accommodations were very comfortable/ The breakfast was large with a variety of options. Wish we could have spent more time here. Bergen was totally charming.

Very difficult to drive to because of street construction and one-way streets.

We stayed here for 4 nights after a cruise up and down the coast of Norway. Only beef was that they did not vacuum the room during the 4 day stay. They did come in and change towels (no bed linen change. Breakfast was the huge buffet that you can make sandwiches with for the day.In evening had free waffles and fancy coffees from a super machine (latte's […] and capuccinos or expressos) with sour cream and preserves for the waffles. Room was very quiet WITH the window open. Very well located at the end of a pedestrian mall, therefore NO car or truck traffic.Easy 5 min walk to fish market. Friendly staff. VERY BUSY CENTRAL HOTEL 10 MINUTES WALK TO CENTER. VERY POPULAR HOTEL WITH ONE OR TWO COACH TOURS EVERY DAY WHICH MAKES IT BUSY AT BREAKFAST TIME.

great hotel for the price, good location, easy to walk to fish market and other interesting areas.

The hotel was nice and clean. However, it's about 15 mins walk from where the airport bus stop and at least 20 mins from train station. Dragging luggages uphill on the coblestone was tough.

Helt greit hotell midt i byen ,nær bryggen og ikke langt fra akvariet. Hyggelig personell.Litt vanskelig å parkere. Hotellet har eget parkeringshus men dette var fullt. Savnet minibar på rommet. God frokost :-))

Hotellet var helt greit, rent rom, hyggelig betjening, god frokost. Vi bodde fra lørdag til søndag, og det var deilig at frokosten ble servert helt til kl. 12. Noe lytt mellom rommene, lett å høre når naboen var på toalettet/badet. Åpenbar prostitusjon i nærheten av hotellet.

Fine rom, veldig god service og god frokost. Har ingenting å klage over.

Vennlig service fra resepsjon, bar og frokostservering. Hyggelig atmosfære med smilende ansatte. Badet trenger oppussing men renholdet var på topp.Frokosten smakte godt begge dagene. Hotellet ligger sentralt og fint.

Kom till Bergen en sen kväll efter närmare 100 mils bilkörning. Det hade varit skönt med parkeringsplats vid hotellet, så man sluppit gå ett par hundra meter till en allmän och obevakad parkering. Det som däremot var riktigt sköna var sängarna! Jag sov som en stock hela natten. Jag kan tänka mig att bo där igen.

greit hotell i bergen i nerheten av akvariet og sentrum :)

Vi tilbragte tre netter på dette hotellet i fellesferien og fant det upåklagelig i forhold til prisnivå. Sentral beliggenhet, rent, ganske rolig selv om det var mange som bodde på hotellet. Det eneste som var negativt var at det var svært fullt og hektisk i spisesalen under frokosten.

Nunja, wenn man auf eine mürrischen Empfang steht, ist man hier richtig. Wirklich nur 3 Sterne mehr nicht. Lage ist ganz gut. Leider war das Frühstück - auch pünktlich um 6.30 schon kalt, wie man das schafft ist uns ein Rätsel. Lieber mehr Sterne aussuchen, denn günstig war das Hotel nun auch nicht wirklich.

Toalett med dusch behöver en ordentlig sanering då det kommer att bli mögel vid golvet om inget görs omgående. (Rum 526)

ett trevligt och välskött hotell med trevlig och hjälpsam personal, men det var litet svårt att hitta till hotellet första gången när vi kom med bil och endast hade en karta från nätet med.

Et rigtigt godt hotel i Bergens centrum, hvor især kvaliteten af morgenmad og udbuddet af frokost imponerede ikke mindt set i lyset af de i forvejen høje priser i Norge. Her får man noget for pengene. Kan absolut anbefales.

Andre år på rad vi overnatter her på vårt Bergensopphold. Kjempebra standard, service og beliggenhet, men rommet vi fikk iår var så lite at det trekker kraftig ned (som det eneste negative!). To venninner, 60+

Et helt greit hotell, med sentral beliggenhet 5 min rusletur unna fisketorget. Uerfaren ungjente i resepsjonen under opplæring, men heldigvis med kyndig og serviceinnstilt hjelp i bakhånd. Fikk først et rom som ikke var vasket/ryddet, men deretter et fint og helt greit rom. Trangt bad med dårlig dusjløsning, men Ok standard.

Mørkt, ikke så trivelig rom. Kjedelig frokost. Dyrt.

Sentralt i Bergen, kort vei til butikker og restauranter. Koseig hotel, ikke for stort. Bra frokost. Praktiske rom, gode senger. Fornuftig pris.

Veldig fornøyd, men litt vanskelig å sovne grunnet en del trafikk på veien 2 meter fra vinduet! Ble stille etter midnatt da. Gode senger, ingen problemer med ryggen morgenen etter, og det er ganske uvanlig etter en natt i en hotellseng. Kommer tilbake hit!
