Wyndham Nassau Resort - Nassau (et les environs)

Coincés dedans car il pleuvait des cordes. On en garde un excellent souvenirs

L'hôtel est immense avec un casino et une jolie plage orientée nord. Une grande piscine. Comme partout sur l'île, les prix pratiqués sont exorbitants et un rien peut rapidement devenir chers. Quelques chambres sont très mal placées avec une vue sur les toits qui ne sont pas entretenus et donnent une impression de vétusté prononcée. Après, pas de réel […] problème, notre chambre n'a pas été fait une ou deux fois sur la semaine. Un hôtel qui a du potentiel mais qui ne l'exploite pas, le rapport qualité/prix est donc très correct. Chambre de grand luxe et très propre, pour un prix très raisonnable. Infrastructure et situation impeccable. TRÈS POSITIF à l'exception de 2 petites remarques: 1) Le personnel (on ne parle pas bien anglais) ne fait pas ou peu d'effort pour nous comprendre 2) Le prix des boissons et de la nourriture est exorbitant comme dans toutes l'ile.

I was not satisfied with this hotel at all. I flew in from California on a red eye and when I arrived to this hotel the staff was not courtesy in trying to expedite a room for me. . In fact, all of the staff seem to be bother by the tourist. The room is very old and had an odor. The carpet was old and dated as well as the entire hotel. The gym!!!! […] Oh really!!! It was a 10x10 room with 4 treadmills – a very nice way to get a workout on after eating a $22.00 lunch. I would stay next door at the Sheraton ……. Lisez la suite

Hotel very nice, beach very clean and good location, however people by elevator inviting you to free breakfast to pitch / hard sell their 5 digit packages. Say it will only take 30 minutes however took 3 hours. Springbreakers also on site, very disrespectfull, drunk and loud. Great hotel but cant recommend to anyone for these two reazons.

The hotel is tired and in need of maintenance and upkeep. That I knew by just reading reviews and from previous visits. What irks me is that the Internet did not work that well. (Its with ATT) I called ATT 4x to get it resolved. ( I actually called the front desk and they patched me to ATT) (It was all minor issue reboot router insert IP # etc..) to […] my surprise I got a nice little $40.00 long distance tel bill for calling the reception who patched me to ATT . When I complained that this was unfair and just a patch through call to 1-800 the hotel didnt care! I got stuck with the bill. Other pet peeve... The maid doesnt come around to make the room till 4pm! Kinda late when you left the room at 8am with "please make up my room" door tag! i can imagine the wyndham had its hey day - but those days are long gone. if not for the super super sweet and helpful staff - i would lower the rating to a two. from carpets to general decor - to the strange almost hidden entrance - it is more reminiscent of a down and out casino in the middle of nevada. the pool was way too cold - the chaise lounges […] stretched to huge pouches. hope you get the picture. The hotel is current;y undergoing renovations, but still a good place to stay. I was up relatively early each day as i was there for business, so I can't say if the construction affected guests.

The room was very clean.... But the carpet next the elevator on the different floors was stain... The front desk was very busy behind the desk and offer very poor service when I approach them...

hotel reception and casino very dated ,roooms werent serviced till 4pm after room being empty all day,some staff on casino bar very agressive not pleasant at all ,rooms lovely beach facilities great staff good fun on beach entertainment,and nightclub great music group on,food good overall nice hotel.

The hotel has some pluses, but overall, not that impressive. The views from the "ocean-view" rooms are beautiful, and the beach is right there, which is great. The pool is nice - great waterslide - but the hotel actually blocks the sun starting in the early afternoon. The hotel is tired - particularly the area around the casino, which just feels faded […] and smells a bit stale. Service is not great - very impersonal and not overly helpful. Good for those on a tight budget but still want a nice place to stay.

The rooms are fine but the hotel itself is very dreary and needs to be updated. Your fitness center consists of a few treadmills. As far as dining is concerned, you have a deli and nothing else. The steakhouse was closed and from the reviews it didn't matter. Beautiful property. It's a shame the lobby and casino areas are dark and dreary.

Clean and comfortable. What more can you ask for? Okay, well, you can probably ask for a lot. BUT, after staying in a rathole in Miami the night before, this place was lovely. The only "problem" with the hotel was the location. It was a little far from Arawak Cay, the cool, happenin' local spot on the island. Nevertheless, I would probably stay here […] again! Room and grounds a bit outdated and needs some TLC but very clean. Really enjoyed meal at steakhouse but the server was not the best, could have been a little more attentive. Spent about 2hrs and was not offered desert and he checked on us once throughout our dining. Overall had an enjoyable stay, would recommend this hotel. Much more affordable than other resorts in Nassau. However, you get what you pay for. The hotel staff was not very knowledgable about restaurants or tourist activities. The room that we received was on the ground floor. It was a decent room but could use a few upgrades. The same is true for the hotel lobby and pool area.

I had a great week in Wyndham hotel ..i wish if i could stay longer ..The people there are so nice .. the room service was good and i got a very nice room 'wide ocean view "as i was promissed when i booked .....i met people who work there i will never forget for years to come like Ivon and Eula ..simply everything was just GREAT ... thank you

The hotel seemed like a good value online, and the adventure package was a great deal. However, the hotel was having a lot of work done on it at the time (as was the area around it), and there really wasn't much to do there (or even downtown) after about 5 pm (when the cruise ships depart). During the day there's a cheap bus you can take to get downtown […] or to Fish Fry, but for dinner you have to either take a taxi there and back or eat at a hotel at a pretty hefty cost. Since we picked this hotel to save a little bit of money over the newer bigger resorts, it was tough having to spend all that money again on food, especially when we learned that there were cheaper restaurants with later hours around those other resorts. In general, we had a good time, especially with the adventure package, but it wasn't the value we had expected, and we wound up having a lot of early nights. Lisez la suite

If we had known there was so much construction on and around the Wyndham, we would have found another hotel. The tower we thought we were booking a room in, which would have been ocean front, was vacant and being readied for demolition. The outdoor hot tub was cold and the jets did not work. We got a special rate on this hotel. I paid extra for an ocean view but ended up in a room without a view of the ocean. Turns out the special rate was because the hotel is in the middle of a construction zone and is under renovation. The hotel itself was quite ok and the room was nice.

Be Forwarned; If you plan to stay at this hotel, be prepared to grab your ankles. For starters, the line at the front desk is exceptionally long due to the existing customers complaining about all the additional undisclosed charges to their bills. The hotel is OK...nice beach and views of water....but the Sheraton next door seems a bit fresher, more modern, a bit nicer overall. If you like to gamble....casino is on the first foor. The hotel was wonderful. Satff was help, although they forgot my wake up call and preordered taxi. Grounds were beautiful. I would surely recommend it.

It's a good hotel worth the extra price. I started at the nassau palms because my companies travel agent found it for a Franklin a night"no beach dirty and smell of roach spray". Check out! And went down the road to wyndham explained what happend stayed 5 days and two more through hotels.com they even gave me an ocean view as a free upgrade just to […] say they were sorry for my first night at a different hotel. We went to Nassau for 10 days and 2 out of the 10 we stayed at Wyndham and were very happy with the resort. The only thing that would have made it perfect is to be all inclusive. I didnt care too much to pay for breakfast which was spendy but it was also very delicous. Very happy overall and would recommend it to anyone.

Not one to complain, but my husband and I were very disappointed with the Wyndham management. They put our family on a floor with a bunch of high school spring breakers who were drunk every night and banging at our door at all hours of the night and partying in our halwayl and running up and down the stairs that were right by our room keeping us up […] all night. Our children ages 10 and 12 were horrified! We tried to contact management to let them know what was going on, but noone would answer our phone calls and when we went to the front desk the next morning to let them know what was going on they weren't available. Three days went by and still didn't hear from management. The night before we were leaving I finally got to talk to one of the managers, but unfortunately he couldn't do anything because he wasn't authorized to move us into a different room so we ended up staying on the same floor with the out of control high schoolers once again! We're back home now and still haven't gotten a call or even an email from the Wyndham management apologizing to us for this nightmare of a stay. But although our hotel stay was a nightmare, I want you to know that The Bahamas is a beautiful place and the locals are extremely friendly!! Lisez la suite

I had to get to Nassau on short notice for a meeting but the hotel was excellent and the staff were attentive and friendly. I recommend highly!!!!

I travel 4 times a year ,stay in 3-4 stars hotels.This is a Special Edition for a 3 stars,dont read other reviews ,they confuse me also,..I rarely go back to a same city ,but if I had this hotel will be the only one in mind,Ivisited the other 2 good ones,and there are good,but Windham is for far the best
