Hôtel propre, mais qui fait années 80 ou 90. En fait, elle a besoin de certaines rénovations. -- Lit qui fait du bruit à chaque mouvements. Tapisserie qui "balloune" à certains endroits dans la chambre. -- Piscine décevante, car définitivement moins belle qu'elle paraissait sur la photo. Par contre, propre. --- Déjeuner très adéquat. Très bas prix, propre, prêt des commodités. Centre-ville à 5 minutes en auto, bon petit-déjeuner inclu, wi-fi et usa today inclu. Personnel Ok. Portland gagne à être visité lorsque la température est clémente et lorsque les commerces sont ouverts puisque selon moi, l'intérêt de cette ville réside dans le magasinage, le flanage et lèche vitrine en ville […] et les promenade sur le bord de la mer. "great for the price!"
We spent the night after going to the seas dogs game. The staff was super nice and welcoming. The room was very clean and nice furniture. The pool was a nice touch the following morning before checking out. Breakfast was very welcomed traveling with two kids. The only thing I would change was I wished there was a heavier blanket on the beds, but the […] heat made the room plenty warm in no time. Great place for cheap money! Good location and price. The hall ways were dirty and in need of cleaning with tools, rolled up mats and garbabe etc left there for 3 days. Hard to miss these items in need of clean -up. The pool area was very cold...the water was very warm, but the air in the room itself was very cold...all of the adults were commenting on that. "horrible shuttle service"
The counter help was OK, but the shuttle service was horrible. On the way to the airport that very cold January morning, the driver did not know how to work the heat - had the cold car blasting cold air until we asked him to turn it down until the car was warm. When the car was warm, he then could not remember how to turn the heat back on. Worse, on […] our return, the shuttle driver took 45 minutes to pick ups us. In fact, all other hotel shuttles came and went as did all others who awaited any kind of pick-up. We who waited for the Howard Johnson's shuttle were the last, lone ones waiting for pick-up. I've stayed here before in late spring, but am not sure I will return again. The bed mattress was decent enough for one person, but the linens were rediculous. I think they were twin linens turned crosswise to fit a double bed. And the adjustable heat was iffy at best. Don't think I'll return. This hotel was located in a great spot. But there were roudy kids slamming doors untill 6 am. Throwing the screan out the windows and hotel management did nothing about the complaints. Our room would not go above 69 degrees. The blankets were as thin as the sheets. Our shampoo and conditoner that came with the room were almost empty as well as the toilet […] paper. Other then we had a hard time finding the hotel, it was very good. We were given a choice of which floor we wanted to stay on. One small issue about midnight.....neighbors were a little loud in the hallway. I assume they may have had one too many nightcaps. "Better than I had expected"
I thought that this was a very nice place for the price. I don't recall it having the greatest ratings so I didn't have very high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was.
