Mercure Budapest Korona Hotel - Budapest

L'hôtel est situé dans un quartier calme et permettant l'accès à pied, en métro ou en tramway à l'ensemble des sites touristiques de la ville. Confort de la chambre correct et PDJ buffet très varié. Service impécable.

Un hôtel idéalement situé au coeur de Budapest et à la sortie du métro ligne 3 (station Kalvin Teer) et à quelques minutes de marche du Danube. Chambres confortables, quelques châines de télévision francophones pour se tenir informé: France 24, France 2 et TV5 Europe) et quelques membres du personnel parlant le français.

Hotel très bien situé, proche de tout. Excellent service, personnel très compétent et serviable.

Hotel correct, mais celui-ci ainsi que le mobilié date d'une dizaine d'année. La chambre n'est pas bien grande mais correct. Le point négatif est l'impossibilité d'ouvrir la fenêtre pour aérer celle-ci.

Hôtel digne de la marque mercure et sérieux du groupe Accor. mis à part d'u n souci de chauffage et température de la chambre, très bonne iimpression d'ensemble.

A 100 mètres du métro kalvin ter,sur la ligne m3 que nous prenons en venant de l'aéroport(aprés avoir pris le bus E 200)ticket à 320 uhf!A 3 mn à pied du Danube,de la rue piétonne vaci,du grand marché couvert .Quartier très sécurisant le soir.Petit bémol,la salle de bain de notre chambre 543 un peu petite.Prêt de peignoirs pour l’accès à la piscine […] et au sauna.Le personnel est très disponible.Pas mal de clients navigants des compagnies aériennes. Situation géographique parfaite : accès à tous les sites touristiques à pieds. Bouche de métro en bas de l'hôtel très pratique pour aller à l'aéroport. restaurants, bars, épiceries de nuit à côté de l'hôtel. Propreté irréprochable.Qualité de la literie excellente. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'accueil en français... Certaines chambres sont plus petites […] que d'autres ce qui est embêtant pour ranger les valises. Dans la deuxième chambre, impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre car cassée, c'est dommage ! Malgré quelques petites failles, je recommande cet hôtel qui a beaucoup de points positifs ! Idéalement situé, de très nombreux restaurants et bars à proximité. A 5 bonnes minutes du Danube, la ville peut pratiquement être visitée à pied. Station de métro au pied de l'hôtel. Chambre très propre et confortable, décoration très standard.

Très bel hôtel, parfaitement situé près de toutes les commodités, chambres propres et agréables, très bon service. A faire en famille ou entre amis!

Hotel Mercure was easily situated close to all main attractions. We easily walked to every destination, no need for metro or taxi (unless you'd like to give your feet a rest) Room was clean, staff was pleasant and helpful. Overall an enjoyable stay.

The hotel is located near many attractions. Metro station is just near the hotel either. The price/quality ratio is very good.

Great location, friendly staff. The receptionist Adrienn K. was very helpful when it came to double check if our booking did incl breakfast. Great plus is also the swimming pool area and the lady Idikó M, she is well worth a visit to get a relaxing massage after a wonderful day in Budapest!

We scored a great sale deal with the Mecure Korona, comparable to hostel prices, so we were expecting a pretty average hotel. We were mistaken. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were in a great location where we could easily walk to the metro to visit the sites. We paid a little bit extra for breakfast but it was a very decent meal and […] worth the money. The room was clean, with a decent sized bathroom and we had plenty of space for 3 people. I had ordered and payed for 5 nights for a standard nonsmokers room (wanted highest floor possible) 3 months in advance (standard price). I was given a tiny smokers room (302) with a strong tobacco smell, towards the yard, buttom floor. The last room, they said. I could probably have another room next day, which I got. Comfortable room, lovely bathroom with magnifying make-up mirror - a revelation. Breakfast good selection - not full english but this wasn't England. Close to all amenities such as the Danube River walk, go across the Chain Bridge and into the Buda area. All beautiful expecially by night. Mercure staff really friendly and helpful.

The location cannot be beat! So close to the bridges, shopping and all the public transportation. The service was great. Made reservations through hotels.com and we were instantly upgraded to a suite. The staff allowed me to use my broken Hungarian and helped me with English translations when I had trouble. :) Bed was comfortable. Minibar fridge had […] enough room to put some of our own beverages. The breakfast buffet was exceptional! Scrambled eggs , all the meats and cheeses you could want, breads, sweets, good coffee and more. Took some getting used to the amount of cigarette smoke in the lobby, but I suppose that's Europe in general. The lobby and hallways look very high end and recently renovated. The room I was in was not nearly as nice. The mattress wasn't very firm and seemed old, the coverlet on the bed looked really old and was not the kind that gets washed with each guest, one of the walls had some damage and there was trash left behind from the previous guest. I complained […] about the trash and asked that the bed linens be changed because if the maid didn't remove the trash she may not have changed the bed linens. The hotel quickly sent up a maid to remake the bed. The hotel is right outside of the metro stop and there are several restaurants within a few blocks. Lisez la suite

Very rude staff, extremely expensive food and water! Rooms are very cramped, and you need to pay hefty price for Water! Best to eat out and stock on water from the super market outside

It was a short stay but enjoyed it..

Great location and super service considering the hotel was very crowded because of the Grand Prix occurring on the same weekend. The room needed new mattresses and just had a few scuffs on the walls.

Hotel was very central to city centre sights and tourist areas. At night it was noisy and even with the air conditioning on it felt warm. There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which we would have liked. Would certainly recommend it to those looking for a clty centre base. Great hotel with great service! Everyone there was extremely nice and ready to help with anything. It was in a great location, with the restaurant street just across the street from the hotel. Everything was in a good distance, and the hotel offered help with anything they could. Great place to stay.

Close to the metro and beautiful market hall. Luxury entrance but very small rooms and expensive breakfast (not worth the price). Despite that I highly recommend the hotel due to the location and price given. But skip the breakfast and enjoy something deliciious from the market hall instead.

The heat wasn't working in the room they gave us so they upgraded us giving us a choice of three other rooms. We enjoyed the upgrade! The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to have secure parking. Our room was clean. The towels and linens were a bit thread bare. I would stay here again.

The Mercure Budapest Korona was a greatly situated hotel to explore the Hungarian capital - with Pest, the Jewish quarter and even Buda easily accessible within 15 minutes walk. If you're driving to Budapest it is particularly good as it relatively easy to find by road and has a car park to leave your vehicle at during your stay. If it's cold (we went […] in winter) or you don't want to walk too far, there is a metro and tram stop right by the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean. My only minor criticism is that the rooms were slightly too dark, but this is the case in many hotels of its kind. We stayed at the Mercure Korona Budapest for 3 nights. The hotel is perfectly located in the city center on the Pest side, with a Metro/tube station within 40 meters and bus & trams stations within 100 meters. Sitting near a main cross road, it's location was perfect to reach all the great sites the city has to offer by walking or with the public transport. 5 […] minutes walk from Váci utca (the main street) where all the shops are located (and the amazing Babel restaurant) and the same from Raday utca where you can find great food (recommending on Soul Cafe). Although being close to the center it is still very quite. The rooms were small. Smaller than I expected, and not as colorful as presented in the pictures. however, they were clean and the bathroom as well was new, clean and nice with good hot water to shower with. We arrived at 10:00 AM and got immediately a room on the 9th floor which faced the inner side of the hotel with roof tops view which was depressing. We asked to change it and got the same room but with a street view at 14:00 which was much better. Breakfast was not included in the deal but there is no need for that as you can find lots pf places to eat with 1/3 of the price outside. The service of the stuff was mixed, some were very nice and helpful and some were cold and strict. All in all, the hotel location and the clean rooms beats the downsides on the rooms size and boring look. For the price we paid I would recommend it as a good choice to stay. Enjoy it. Metro was 30 mts. away. Raday Rd full of restaurants just crossing the street. Pool was not available (I chose the hotel for the pool) Very small rooms. Location is the reason if you want to sightsee.

Loved the city, renting bikes to make ones way around the place is the ebst way to go. Relaxed, easy going, great restaurants and bars. WOuld recommend a long weekend stay in Pest

We enjoyed a long weekend in this well located hotel. The room was of adequate size and by continental standards and the breakfast was good. There is a generous lounge for sitting in and we would return. Despite being surrounded by roadworks the hotel is well insulated and it was not a problem.

Staff were helpful and spoke good English. The room we had was smaller than expected, although pleasant. Breakfast was fair. Easy connections via tram to both sides of the city.

Kom sent på kvällen och fick då ett rökrum fast vi ej bokat det för det var fullbokat.Fick ett nytt rum dagen efter icke rökrum.Rökrummet gick knappt att andas i och var väldigt skitigt men det "vanliga" rummet var mkt bättre, rent och fint. stor skillnad . Våning 8 är rökrummen kan ju vara bra att veta vid bokning . Fanns inga grönsaker vid frukosten […] och dåligt med färsk frukt.Hotellet låg väldigt centralt och mkt prisvärt för läget kan tänka oss att bo där igen. Lisez la suite

Det hade varit trevligt med en vattenkokare på rummet och eftersom det inte fanns någon balkong så hade det varit bra om man kunde öppna fönsterna. Med det fanns iof ac. Frukosten var ganska simpel. Det kunde varit lite färska frukter m.m

Vi var mycket nöjda med detta hotell. Trevlig personal, bra rum och god frukost. Hotellet låg nära tunnelbana och spårvagn vilket gjorde det lätt och smidigt att ta sig runt i staden.

Bra beliggenhet like ved shopping og restaurantstrøk. Rommene var noe små, slitte og det luktet veldig røk til tross for at vi hadde et røkefritt rom. God service og frukosten var helt ok.

Et flott hotell bare noen minutter fra gågata, Markedshallen og Donau. Rent og ryddig, ingen hybelkaniner å se! Utmerket service, med hyggelig betjening som ordnet det meste for oss - kjapt og greit. Selv om det var masse folk på hotellet, var det veldig stille og rolig. Bare i frokostsalen kunne det bli litt kø, så det er lurt å være tidlig ute. Dette […] opplyser de om på oppslag. Jættebra hotell:- lite før små rum bara. Læget supert och frukosten helt ok. Vældigt bra værde før pengarna!

Vi havde 4 værelser, og der var forholdsvis stor forskel på størrelse og faciliteter. 1 værelse havde elkedel med kaffe mm, og det kunne vi alle have tænkt os. Ellers var alt i orden, oven i købet muligt at se Champions League. Personalet var meget serviceminded.

Fint hotell. Vi valde privlige room vilket var bekvämt då man fick äta frukost seperat från och med tisdag. Vi åt en dag i stora matdalen och det var mycket folk och rörigt. Rummen var lite för små men ändå tillräckliga.
