We were very happy with this inn. It was very clean. The water pressure and hot water for the shower was great. When we arrived there was no mention that we had a pet with our reservation but the friendly receptionist gave us a pet friendly room with no problem. I thought the hotel was ok but if definitely wasn't what we expected when we got there. The pictures on hotels.com showed what seemed like a jacuzzi tub in the room which there was not. Nice hotel, but pictures are deceiving!

The hotel was great except our room was right on the snowmobile trail which kinda sucked. Front desk lady I thought was a little rude but our room was very clean and bed was great..

Loved the pool and hot tub. The pool is saltwater so the chlorine smell does not overwhelm the room. The weekend breakfast was okay, but the weekend restaurant option was lacking. There is no laundry facilities here, and that was disappointing. Most importantly though, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and fresh coffee is available in the lobby throughout […] the day. Did not like complimentary breakfast since it charged us extra $3.50 for switching from milk or coffee to juice. Juice and milk are same price on menu. Very poor marketing!!!

OVERALL THE STAY WAS GOOD, ALTHOUGH THE FULL BREAKFAST WAS ANYTHING BUT. A WAFFLE OR PANCAKE AND COFFEE IS NOT WHAT I WOULD CALL FULL.

Were very pleased with the overall stay of this hotel. Nice that there was a bar and restaurant, very friendly staff. The only complaint was with their "free" breakfast (which should be included for the price of the room). We only did breakfast one of the two mornings that we were there. After the first morning we decided to go to a regular family restaurant […] and get enough to fill us up for the morning. First of all I've never been to a breakfast where they didn't have a toaster or little boxes of dry cereal to help fill you up. They had two different types of eggs (an egg omlette (I think) with cheese and a tortilla wrapped around an egg and cheese). Not great when kept luke warm in a nesco, very dried out. Very nice atmosphere! The room was very cozy and roomy enough for visitor's. The staff was very friendly and I liked the compliment breakfast every morning! Very yummy!

Looks like new carpet in hallways and the pool area is very nice. Decorative wreaths in room were quite dusty and bathroom door had been patched but overall we weren't unhappy and would stay there again. Nice free breakfast offering and nice restaurant. All in all a nice place to stay and affordable.

This is an amazing place to stay at. The staff is wonderful and caters to your every need. The warm continental breakfast served in the adjoining restaurant was very good. It had snowed during the night, and what really impressed us what that staff had taken the time to clear everyone's car of snow. We definitely will stay here again.

There was a mix up on the room assigned to us, so that we arrived late in the evening with a pet, but without a room that allowed pets. They let us have it anyway, but it was on the second floor and not near the stairs or parking, so not as convenient with the dog as I had been led to believe it would be. The refrigerator didn't work, and when I called […] the desk, I was told to see if it was plugged in, which meant lifting it out of the wooden cabinet it just barely fit into, pressing the restart button, etc. No big deal, but it required sitting on the floor and my husband's longer arms to do it, and I thought the desk should have sent someone up to do it for us. We were told this place was nicer than another partly because we would get a cooked breakfast in the morning from their restaurant, rather than the usual continental breakfast. But apparently that had changed, and the continental breakfast was almost all sweet choices...no fresh fruit (only pre-packaged canned fruit cups), no hard boiled eggs, no whole grain anything except sweetened oatmeal, no plain dry cereals. Most people like the waffles, I know, but I do not. Also, no herbal teas, no choice of milk (skim, 2%, etc.). It was very disappointing after expecting fresh cooked eggs and whole wheat toast! The night desk lady was very sweet, but had no explanations for the room mix up or breakfast change. The cleaning person in the morning was extra friendly, and she did save the ratty little Green Bay Packers pillow I left behind, so that I was able to pick it up on our way out of town that evening! It wasn't a terrible place...it just wasn't as nice as I had been led to believe. I did very much appreciate being able to bring our dog, and the price was reasonable in comparison to others. Staff was freindly, the room was clean, was very quiet. The pillows were too big and had to sleep wihtout one. The breakfast was very sparse but the waffle I did have was good.

The hotel was nice; beds were comfortable; pool was great for swimming; hot tub was nice; on-site restaurant was good. It was clean, comfortable. My only complaint - and it's more my taste -- I like to have glasses and actual mugs rather than the plastic stuff. This place also had no shampoo, etc., -- so it was missing some of those 'little' things. […] Otherwise, it was very nice place to stay, and I'd go again. Lisez la suite

Used to live in Hayward, and always enjoy the trips back. Have stayed at Flat Creek several times, and it is always a great place to stay. And, oh, the restaurant - best in Hayward. Food is always good; morning, noon and night. I tried it all. Great meals - great service. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Best place in Hayward!
