"ambassasor strip inn travelodge"
"Hotel travelhodge proche Strip"

Towels are really rough, bed is really hard, AC was broken and had to be fixed. The only good thing was that it was close to the strip and the price was reasonable.

"Good for on a budget"
I never got a clear time on check in. Which is at 2pm! Got there at 11 :/ Once we were allowed to check in, they gave us 3 room keys for one suite....um, we paid for 3 room. It took them forever to figure it out. Finally the manager came and sorted everything out. It's just 2 long blocks from the strip. Not too bad. Not hard to find. Overall it was […] just ok. "OK BUT NO LUXURIES"
HOTEL ROOM IS OUTDATED AND THE FIXTURES AND HOTEL SHOW IT. STAFF WAS NOT EXACTLY THE FRIENDLIEST AND THEY DIDN'T SEEM TO KNOW WHAT THEY WERE DOING. THE ACCOMODATED A SMALL TRAILER I HAD AND FOR THE MONEY I PAID THE GET THE 4 RATING, OTHERWISE IT WOULDHAVE BEEN A 3.
"Ambassador Travelodge Las Vegas - nice find!"
Just needed a place to sleep so we could go see all the other hotels and casinos. Microwave, fridge, internet and pool a bonus. Never even made it to free continental breakfast. Only negative was odd smell from the air conditioner.

"Travel Lodge Experience"
Good accommodation overall but the room was not equipped with shampoo or Kleenex.
"Good night's sleep"
The service of the staff was excellent. Everyone we dealt with very polite, and we could even understand them on the phone. I mention this because this has not been our experience with other similarly priced hotels. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was open, but not heated. We did not test the water's temperature upon the desk clerk's recommendation. The […] location was very close to the airport, but we were not bothered by the sound of traffic or planes. We had a lower level room close to the highway and airport. The hotel shuttle took only 15 minutes to arrive after we called. I think they only pick you up upon request; they do not seem to have a regular schedule. The driver of the free airport shuttle was polite and helpful. The first shuttle out the next moring was at 5:00am and this driver was also helpful and polite. They did offer to leave earlier if we needed. The breakfast didn't start after we left, so we missed whatever they were serving. I forgot something at the hotel, and the driver made a second trip to the airport to retreive it for me. We will definitely stay here again because of the great service, great location, and family friendly atmosphere we experienced during our short stay. Lisez la suite

For the price, it was quite good. Shuttle bus driver availability was good. Small breakfast, but enough to make it work. Room was in decent shape and comfortable.

"Not for more than one night"
My husband and I needed at hotel for one night only, which was good because I don't think we could have slept in that bed another night. First, we booked through hotels.com and reserved a king sized bed. It did not say "one king OR two queens." but when we arrived it was two queens. Not a huge deal, but misleading. When we showed the office clerk our […] reservation that read "king sized bed", he stated that the two queens was the same price and they had no more rooms. Again, not a huge deal, but if they are going to switch your room accomodation, the res should tell you they are interchangeable. Secondly, on the map it may appear to be close to the MGM, don't be misled. It would be a bit of a trek. Not that the walk would be a problem it the MGM was your destination, but considering all the other walking you do in Vegas, you may regret having to take that trek back after walking all day. Lastly, the bed was rediculously uncomfortable. The mattress had plastic on it so every time I or my husband moved it crinkled. Plus the mattress was weak so that when laying next to my husband, I kept rolling to the center of the bed. Horrible mattress! The only positives are thit appeared to be fairly clean for a 2star hotel, and it was a cheap option (in comparison) for the few hours we needed it. Lisez la suite

"Worst motel I ever stayed at"
First off the seedy characters hanging out in the lobby left me a little creeped out when checking in. Especially when the front desk guy says my room out loud in the tiny lobby so everyone can hears it. I put my bag in the room. Take my valuables and head out for the night. I arrive back around 2:30am. Got into bed, which is hard as a rock, with matching […] pillows. Then I get the joy of knowing how thin the walls are. I can hear the people directly behind my head in the next room talking and banging against the wall, for some reason. If that wasn't enough, just as it seems I might possibly fall asleep, the other neighbors arrive. It is now 4:30am. And I guess they must have forgotten to bring a key or something because they started pounding on their door to get their friends attention. So, between the rock hard bed, noise, and the fear of maybe someone breaking in, I checked out at 4:40am. This was a complete waste of money and I even got a great rate. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place no matter the offer. Lisez la suite
"EXTREMITY SATISFIED"
The Hotel was extremity, Satisfied, and I have been telling all of my friends, and family members just how wonderful my stay was.I'm telling all of my church members as well just where to go when they are in the area for a short visit, and don't want to be around to much noise. I have even given the name for a friend to fine out if she can found one […] in the Town where she will be going in a few days. Lisez la suite
"Cheap hotel if just passing through"
I was just passing through and needed a place to spend the night. That's about all I got. Beds were itchy and neighborhood seemed sketchy. Front desk man was very friendly and helpful.
"Simple, but with all amenities"
Too pricely for Las Vegas, but we had everything (quick check in and check out, microwave, tea maker - in room, TV, refrigerator, iron etc.). Good location if heading to Hoower Dam, Grand Canyon and Death Valley - outside the Strip, poor location if intrested mainly in Strip activities. The only minus - poor heating (cold room and bathroom).
"close to the strip"
Nice hotel, close to the strip, Monorail and airport. Free shuttle to the airport and friendly staff.

"Beware of airplane noises"
This hotel is located right side-by-side to private jet and helicopter airport. A lot of noises from jet engine. My non-smoking room had strong smell of cigarette. Small room. Old HVAC unit that makes loud noises as well.
"Close to Strip and nice ambience."
I had a overnight stay and had to leave for Page, AZ. It was a nice and comfortable stay.
"ambassador strip inn travelodge"
great hotel
"Adequate"
Rooms dated but adequate. Staff excellent and responsive to shuttle needs. 10 minute walk to strip. No casino--GOOD. Used coming and going because of ease of access to AP and value. Phone call had shuttle "on the spot".

"The Ambassador Strip Inn Travelodge- Perfect!"
This cozy Inn was clean, comfortable, and in just the right location for the purpose for my visit to Las Vegas. A short walking distance to the MGM grand... Very affordable, too. I do not gamble so I liked that there were no slot machines there! The staff were courteous, friendly, helpful. I could'nt be more satisfied! I highly recommend this place […] . Lisez la suite
"Excellent location and price"
For an overnight stay near the airport, this is perfectly OK. They will pick you up by shuttle from the airport. Going back to the airport is less convenient - the shuttle goes only at 9, 10, and 11 am. But it's so close, a taxi would do just fine.

"Quick getaway to the airport after hellish night"
Here's the good, the bad and the ugly after my one night stay. The Good---This motel is one of the closet to the airport so you're able to make a quick getaway, return your car rental and make your flight with reduced stress. Check-in was easy and the person at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. Parking is easy here and only steps from your room. […] Room size was about right. The room was clean with everything in working order, air conditioner worked well, finally (more on that below). Had a table with two chairs, coffee maker, hairdrier, microwave, mini fridge, plenty of light, good shower/tub with plenty of hot water, ok TV, etc. Motel was fairly inexpensive and they have shuttle service to the airport. The Bad---The air conditioner thing! Special instructions on how to operate the air, what to do and what not to do. Hey, you're checking in, it;s hot, you're tired, with other things on your mind, you get to your hot room and can't remember the explicit instructions. Now it's back to the office for a tutorial and hope you can remember everything when you return to your room. I couldn't. One of the staff was summoned to assist me and finally got it going. Hey management, how about posting the instructions in every room or at least provide a written copy of instructions at check-in? Also had a problem with my card key not working but one of the staff got it fixed quickly. Breakfast was rather spartan so you may need to look elsewhere for something more substantial. And now, THE UGLY!!!-------The beds and pillows. Don't know about the other rooms but both of the double beds in my room were horrible--should have been tossed out ages ago, totally worn out! And this is coming from someone who is quite content with a bed that is just average or OK, nothing special. The pillows were sort of rolled up balls of foam that provided little comfort. But after the "mattresses from hell" the pillows were just an annoyance. Hey management, don't know about the other beds on the Lisez la suite
"Ambassador Strip Inn Travelodge in Las Vegas"
This hotel had lots of amenities such as airport shuttle, continental breakfast, and pool. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast area a bit small, and no hot foods, but rooms have microwaves & fridges so could eat in room. Good sized rooms, a/c always worked, maid service great, some language barrier problems. Close to the strip, but walking […] back from the strip at night was a little unnerving. Excellent choice for those wanting to be off the strip, in a quiet hotel. Would recommend to all my friends. "Air conditioning and common courtesy"
When I visited this hotel the room was clean, but it was hot and humid for the lack of proper air circulation. I followed the protocol concerning the air conditioning including inserting the key card into the wall to activate the thermostat, but despite our efforts, the airflow in our room was minimal if not nonexistent. We called the front desk to […] try to find a solution for the situation, but they were rude and unhelpful. We asked if they had even a fan for our room, but we were rudely informed that they didn't carry them. Needless to say, I did not have a good night's sleep and I will not return to this hotel. As for the surrounding neighborhood, it was not attractive or clean. I did not feel safe. Over all, the hotel was not worth the price and I would just as well have slept in my car. Lisez la suite

"Travelodge is a great value with its own perks!"
I loved that my room opened up to getting outside. Unlike the labyrinthian hotels and casinos on the strip, where getting outside might be a 20 minute endeavour, I could be out in a second. It was a wonderful little convenience, to get connected and away from the fake lights and skies and carpet and sounds. All the amenities worked just as described, […] with premium channels for when I got that 24 hour Vegas flu and a high pressure shower with water as hot as I could ever want, A/C that cooled asap when I wanted it to, a cold fridge, a great microwave... Basically all the bits needed to keep your Vegas trip from being too expensive. I could make meals in my room, I could get free breakfast (danishes and cereal , coffee and milk and juice) every morning, the Wi-Fi was free and fast (enough), basically the only upgrade I think some people might want would be a more plush bed. I personally slept just fine, but I'm an easy sleeper. Someone who's more sensitive might want a less springy more cushy alternative. I wish the tap water in Vegas was better, but that's not the fault of the Travelodge, and getting a free pick-up and drop-off to the airport was a small but nice benefit too. Dwayne and Julie and every staff member I met was courteous, helpful, and a great example of small town hospitality in a big big city. Getting to the strip was the matter of a 10 minute walk, but the monorail was close-by at MGM Grand and with a car, none of this would even be an issue. I will definitely stay here again, for the price nothing beats it! Thanks and thanks again :) Lisez la suite

"Hotel from Hell"
When we checked in, the room we were given had an airconditioner that sounded like an airplane and didn't get cool either. Also the shower was so difficult to turn on that one would almost need a prybar to pull out the handle to make the water come on. After complaining and maintenance visiting twice who were unable to solve the problems, they did […] give us another room, which was sort of OK in a one star way, except that the tub/shower wouldn't drain.... the drain couldn't be opened. After finishing a shower with water almost to the overflow level in the tub, I complained about that and the maintenance person came with a plastic strip with teeth on it and jammed that into the drain and was able to open it and remove the ball of hair left by a previous guest that had caused the drain to stick in the closed position. Notwithstanding the horrible facilities, the staff were pretty friendly and helpful. They let us leave our bags in the storage room so we didn't have to lug them around all day, and we returned in the evening and they took us to the airport for our late flight. We were pleased with the staff, but the facilities and price were terrible. They had jacked up the price to five star prices since there was a convention in town. Lisez la suite
"TERRIBLE!!!"
A/C didn't cool in two of the three rooms I reserved. I was given smoking when I requested non. Uncomfortable beds and a lot of fishy activity going around.
