"Paramount hotel just perfect"Avis d'un client Hotels.com envoyé le 9 févr. 2012

Tous les hôtels à Newark"Great hotel and Pet friendly"
The staff were fabulous, they suggested for our pet room the first floor so we can take them out, the manager was extremely friendly and very accommodated, the staff in general were more than pleasant and helpful-even the bus driver was unique. The bus arrived at the shuttle pick up services within 1 minutes we were there. The inside grandiose look […] of the pool was exquisite and even though I did not bring my swimsuit-I kept wondering how great would have been been able to jump on it. Lisez la suite

"Newark Sheraton - close to EWR"
The hotel is fine for an overnight before an early flight. The restaurant is pretty good and the room was neat, clean, and quiet. the location is Newark Airport, not scenic, not beautiful, but the airport is about a mile away and they have 24 hour shuttle service. they also accept pets.

"Sheraton Newark Airport"
Very nice Hotel!Would stay again if the opportunity arises.Bed was Super Comfortible.Had a nice Snack and Drink in the Hotel Bar.
"$18 parking, outdated, NOT deserving 3.5 star!"
$18 parking fee, outdated room, NO free wifi. I stayed at surrounding hotels (2.5 star) and they're much better than this Sheraton. The $18 parking fee is alot and there is no free wifi. Totally NOT DESERVING its star rating. The room itself (with outdated TV, dirty bathroom tiles, carpet, etc) is like a 1.5 to 2 stars hotel. Customer service is […] good, but everything else is bad. "Close to EWR & Free shuttle service"
Staff went out of there way to accommodate my family. Also use house car service to New Jersey Penn Station to catch the Path to NYC, very economical
"Sheraton Newark Airport"
The bed was confi and the pilows too. The floor tile in the bathroom was loos and need some major repair.
And the reason I say I wouldn't recommend this hotel is because who else charges $20 for parking overnight? The room had kind of a funky smell when we first came in but once you get the air going it goes away. Overall it is a good place to spend a night if you're waiting for a flight, or doing a long drive and stopping for the night, but I wouldn't […] recommend it for more than one night. Lisez la suite

"Sherton Newark Airport"
The service was excellent. I got in late and the staff was more than helpful. Shuttleservice to the airport was helpful and polite.
"OK for an express stay"
convenient, good rate, reasonably comfortable
"CONVENIENT AND COMFORTABLE"
Everything is available for the business traveler. Despite location near airport, its quiet...and the travel to the airport is relatively convenient...though you must transfer to the onsite tram to reach your airline departure areas.
"Worst place I stayed"

"Smelly room"
The hotel is pretty run down. The room was smelly but clean. I would probably not take this hotel again. I expected more from a Sheraton. The shuttle bus worked fine.
"Convenient and comfortable"
Perfect place if you need to get to the airport early the next morning. The courtesy van made my life easy. Very comfortable and clean.
"Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel"
Very clean and comfortable room. Minutes from airport.
"Newark Sheraton"
Bad location, old ok maintained rooms, thin walls. Service is good but count on paying for everything right from the internet. Not really worth the price, do not fall for the sheraton name.
"Really nice Sheraton"
I have stayed at many Sheraton's and this one is right on par with the quality I expect from this company. Nice hotel with many amenties. It was only an overnight stay but I would have no problem returning. Within 10 minutes of the airport and I must stress the shuttle leaves on time every twenty minutes starting on the hour. No guessing if you'll make […] your flight. The down side would be thin walls. Lisez la suite
"Perfect"

"Honest review... Do not stay here!"
So disappointing. I would NOTrecommend this hotel. The hotel is outdated and dingy. There's a moldy smell that permeates throughout the main lobby and hotel rooms. Elevators are SLOW. The furniture in the guest rooms is outdated and light fixtures were not working properly. I'm not even sure if the bed sheets were changed because I notieced stains on […] my pillow case. Our bathroom was NOT clean. Mildew in the bathroom tiles (shower and floor). Lime stains (or soap scum?) on the sink faucet. AND guest parking for $20/night. Seriously?! There are MANY other newer, nicer, CLEANER similar hotel chains in the Newark airport area in the same price range. Don't stay here. The night we were there, we complained about noise from other hotel guests. Management offered to move us to a different room and comp our next stay. I wouldn't stay there again if you paid me. Inconvenient to reach. No place around, cab service expensive...
"Sheraton Airport Hotel Newark"
Had a very nice stay. Value for money.
"Quality overnight near Newark"
Great hotel near Newark airport. Professional and friendly check-in. Nice clean room with good furnishings and details. Only downside is wi-fi charges - this is out of line in 2011.

"Sheraton Newark"
The room itself was nice and clean. The location is close enough to NYC and conveniently located off the highway. Our major complaint was with the room keys that were deactivated every day. Each day we had to return to the front desk to have them re-program our keycards that were for whatever reason not working. Also the breakfast buffet was overpriced […] and the food was not that great. Lisez la suite
The hotel was great, easy off and on to the interstate highway. Very quite area, our room was nice and cleaned. I am a bathroom person and that was cleaned really good. The restuarant that we selected was convience due to the lateness of our arrival to the hotel. A great friendly, courteous staff. There is nothing negative that I can say about this […] hotel. "Worst hotel stay ever!"
I checked in at the hotel and did not get the welcome that I thought I would get from a "Sheraton" hotel. I had come with a lot of heavy baggage. The concierge had told me that he was in a hurry to drive the shuttle bus to the airport and asked if I can handle all my luggage by myself. He then handed me the push cart to put all my 200lb luggage into […] and basically push all by myself. Luckily another bellman saw that I was struggling with my luggage and kindly assisted me all the way to my room. When I got to my room my shower curtain smelled like mildew and the smell of the carpet in the room reminded me of a huge shoe closet! Nothing is free in the hotel. Internet, parking and breakfast are definitely not complimentary. So if you are looking for free internet, parking and breakfast, I suggest don't check in at the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel. The hotel is also located near train cargo yards and so you will not be able to find food, gas and entertainment until you hop on the highway and drive for atleast a mile or two. Doing your laundry at this Sheraton is something you might not want to do either. They charge you an arm and a leg for a shirt. The hotel tells you to walk over to their neighboring Ramada if you would like to do your laundry yourself at their coin laundry room. This hotel is between a Ramada and a Howard Johnson. I guess you are better off checking in at either hotel. Upon check out, I went down and asked the receptionist if I can have someone help me with my bags. The receptionist replied and pointed behind me "go over to the concierge and ask". I went over to the concierge where I did not see anyone but I did see the familiar pushcart that was given to me on my first night. SO to make my point, I went back to my room and called the front desk and asked for someone to help me bring my luggage down. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, considering that I travel twice a month and stay at different hotels. I would definitely NOT recommend st Lisez la suite
"Sheraton In Newark"
I was not expecting extreme Luxury for the price but, I had several things dissappoint me as soon as I arrived- 1- 20 a day for parking... My fault I should have looked at the site 2- Concierge did not want to speak with us as soon as we turned down the tour that he was offering. In fact he even turned his back to us and walked away when we said that […] "We really just want to see a couple of things but, if you can tell us how to get to the Path train it would be greatly appreciated" So with out having any info on how to get to the Path Train we had no choice but to pay the $25 round trip for the train vs I think 6 for the Path bus. Please know that we called when we were scheduling and were told "The Concierge has directions to the pathway." 3- The Room- The Hotel was clean but the carpet coloring gave a dirty feel... but, that was not my problem. My problem came when we looked out of the window and realized that everyone else had a Balcony except for the colmn of rooms we were in. Would not have been a big deal except this is one of the things that we were told we WOULD not COULD have.... To make things worse.... I was told that there were a lot of empty rooms that were being saved in case any flights were cancelled. 4- Contenental breakfast.... Since when do Hotels charge for this? I tavel ery frequently and i will say over all I was pretty dissappointed with this experience but, I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to traveling Lisez la suite
"Sheraton Newark -Excellent Airport Hotel"
I did not actually stay here for the airport so I have no information on the shuttle - Other than we saw it loading passengers outside. My husband and I and my parents stayed here to make it easier to get to a family event in Brooklyn and were pleasantly surprised. We took a dip in the pool and had dinner in the bar (restaurant was closed, but the bar […] has a full menu). Food was OK. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. One dumb thing - there's a pool table in the bar and as it was still pretty early thought I'd play. It only takes quarters, but the bartender wouldn't make change for me. To play pool. In "his" bar. He told me I'd have to go to the front desk. It's a little thing to be sure, but so weird. "Sheraton Newark Airport"
Unfortunately I only had a few hours layover in the hotel. The staff was very friendly and efficient at check-in. My room was very quiet and comfortable. The shower was hot and had great pressure, which was very soothing after a 17 hr trip. Checkout was equally efficient, and the shuttle service to and from the airport was good.

Every time I stay here, the service is excellent, all the staff is very courteous. An excellent experience.
"Worst Hotel EVER!!"
For a Sheraton Hotel, this was one of the poorest quality hotel I've ever stayed at. After checking in to the hotel at 10:45, I checked the in-room information to see if I could order room service. There was none, and saw that food was only served in hotel restaraunt until 11:00. I rushed down to what was actually the bar, and ordered a 'Panino' that […] took 20 minutes and was cooked to cracker crisp...only ate the inside. Continued back to my room, found no water. Went to vending machines on 7 floors, everyone was 'sold out'. Finally went down to front desk where they escorted me to the fitness room, in where I put my money in the machine and it proceeded to give me a Hawaiian Punch. The hotel worker, the only good thing about the entire stay, offer to go find me water and bring it to my room. The next morning, I ordered coffee. The room service attendent brought no regular sugar. I request some be brought up to my room. After 45 minutes and 3 phone calls, I went down to the front desk to REQUEST sugar for my coffee. The 'manager' apologized and gave me some sugar. Then, when I was finally back to my room to get ready (as I had been waiting for my sugar and now I was late) a hotel worker finally had come to bring me sugar. It had been a full hour since my order of coffee and a yogurt was brought to my room. I was livid, and will never stay there again. Lisez la suite
