je me suis rendue avec mon mari dans cet hotel pour 3 nuits. Je l'avais choisi en raison de sa situation mais je ne savais pas qu'il donnait pile sur la gare Victoria. Vue donc sur les trains et sur un chantier. En plus l'hotel est en travaux aussi attendez-vous à des bruits de marteau piqueur très tôt. En plus, cerise sur le gateau, du chocolat sur […] le drap... Hôtel confortable, le seul hic c'est qu'il n'y a personne qui parle le français à la réception et les hôtesses n'essayent pas de faire d'effort pour se faire comprendre. sinon l’hôtel est très bien placé à coté de la gare London Victoria surtout si l'on vient de l'aéroport Gattwick. a recommander

D’un point de vue global, l’hôtel est très bien. Le souci est lorsqu’on regarde de plus prés. Une somme de petit détail encore un établissement qui pourrait être vraiment bon (peinture mal faite, meuble suédois fatigué, tuyau de douche mal fixé, ampoule grillée. Ravies d'avoir séjourné dans cet hôtel très bien situé, tout près de la Gare Victoria, mais très calme. Ideal pour visiter Londres. Accueil , propreté impeccable de la chambre de belles dimensions, linge de lit de qualité, tout était parfait. Sans hésitation pour un week end, idéal.

Cet hôtel est près d'une station de métro bien desservie, donc c'est très agréable pour se déplacer facilement, mais d'un autre côté, on peut trouver un hôtel dans un quartier encore plus animé que celui-là (qui est Victoria). Mon conseil : préférez les quartiers de Green Park, Oxford, ou Picadilly Circus. De plus, cet hôtel est derrière la gare de […] Victoria, ce qui fait qu'on a la vue sur les rails, les poubelles, et les plateformes ouvrières de la gare. Ce n'est vraiment pas top ! Alors, certes, on ne passe pas notre temps à regarder par la fenêtre de notre chambre d'hôtel, mais c'est quand même limite. De plus, le quartier de Victoria n'est pas très sympa en lui-même. Quand à l'hôtel en lui même, l'intérieur est très joli (normal pour un 4 étoiles). Le personnel est absolument charmant, aimable, et serviable. Par contre, notre chambre était très décevante. Je m'attendais à plus beau vu le standing de l'hôtel. La chambre était très petite, il n'y avait pas d'armoires ou d'étagères pour ranger ses affaires (juste 3 malheureuses planches plantées à même le mur dans l'entrée : très chic !), pas de pathères ni de porte qui ferme à clef dans la salle de bains (la porte était en plus transparente). Le matelas du lit par contre était très bon et très agréable. Enfin, les repas servis à l'hôtel... Le petit déjeuner était absolument délicieux : varié et de qualité. Par contre, le repas du soir de Noël était absolument infect ! Je ne sais pas si c'était parce que c'était Noël ou si c'est pour tous les repas pareils (vu que nous n'avons pas pris d'autres repas que les petits déjeuners et le repas de Noël) mais c'est une honte de servir un repas de Noël comme ça dans un hôtel 4 étoiles. En plus, il nous a quand même coûté cher, c'est une véritable honte ! Bref, ne venez pas dans cet hôtel. Je suis sure qu'il y en a d'excellents dans d'autres quartiers beaucoup plus beaux et animés ! Très bon hôtel à en face de la sortie arrière de Victoria Station avec une situation plutôt calme par rapport au quartier. Le restaurant peu fréquenté sert pourtant une bonne cuisine. Hotel très bien placé en face de la station Victoria pas loin de Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace etc. Personnel très accueillant. Certains sites internet parlent de piscine dans cet hotel mais ce n'est pas le cas. Il y a une salle de fitness uniquement. Eviter les chambres du premier étage car on entend les bruits de la rue. La chambre au 4ème […] étage est très bien, on n'entend pas les bruits. Très bel hotel dans l'ensemble. Très bon accueil. Chambre très propre. Très bonne situation géographique. Par contre nous sommes retrouvés avec une chambre fumeur !

Très proche de Victoria, donc pas loin de Westminster, à quelques pas de Hyde Park, en poussant sur Mayfair on est sur Carnaby street... Que du bonheur ! Grâce à votre proposition, nous avons e un prix très intéressant et donc vous faites partie de nos favoris. Pour des lecteurs éventuels : "N'hésitez pas !"

Great location, can easily access to Victoria station just crossing the street. We just went in the middle of their renovation to become a Double Tree hotel. Breakfast is just OK, not so many choices..If you want to save some money just eat around the block. Would definitely stay there again.

Hesperia's ground floor (restaurant, bar, check-in, main lobby, elevator lobby) was u/c during stay, preparing conversion to Hilton brand and for Royal Jubilee and 2012 Olympics. (The whole of London seems u/c.) Disruption is reflected in discounted rates and was expected but grd-flr dust control could have been much better. Room was clean, functional, […] and well-serviced but wifi came and went. Front rooms overlook back of Victoria Stn and its trash compactor site. Very conveniently located Hotel, minutes walk from Belgravia, Victoria Station & coach station. Hotel is undergoing a refurb to the reception and ground floor areas. Overall a well located, clean, reasonable hotel for it's location. Breakfast at £18.00 per head a bit steep, but loads of places to eat brakfast nearby.

This is more than I am used to paying for a hotel. I have to say one good thing about Hesperia. When I booked on Hotels.com, the price jumped about 25%. Ouch!! I told Hesperia and they upgraded my room. I was grateful for the gesture, as the issue was no fault of theirs. Thanks Hesperia!

Good location across the street from Victoria Train station and tube station. Temperature control in the rooms was poor and the pillows were horrible

This hotel is situated right next to Victoria station. At first it seemed like a dogy area, but it is completely safe. You have tube and train access in immediate vicinity and quite a few pubs as well. The hotel was being renovated while we were there, so the reception area was very small. The room looked like it was recently remodeled, but I do not […] know if all the rooms are done yet. Very comfortable beds and very clean. We stayed on the 8th floor with a view over the station, but we didn't hear anything through the windows, so the vicinity to Victoria is no problem. Dont stay here until the renovations are finished. Having breakfast next to a noisy drill is not much fun. Can hear the drills on the 5th floor. I would not have paid if I hadn't went through hotels.com.

small rooms, beds nothings more than a box of springs, hallways and reception desk look like after an earthquake. for the price we paid, very disappointing!

We had a suite in 9 floor. It was a nice room, but there was a door to the neighboring suite that was anything but soundproof. Impossible for our kids to sleep when there were others in the room!

I couldn't believe how beautiful this hotel was! It was literally right across the street from the Victoria train station, but the windows blocked out almost all of the sound so it was nothing but convenient. There was a fantastic view from the room we stayed in and the room itself was totally spotless. The bed was really comfortable, the shower had […] a detachable head and was even high enough that my rather tall boyfriend didn't have to bend his head to wash his hair (it was the only shower in Europe we found that was like that). There was plenty of light and huge windows, and one of the coolest parts about it? The room had an American power jack, which was fantastic seeing as it was the only time our entire trip that we could charge more than one thing at a time. Not to mention the price, which was incredible for the quality; especially for all the help the employees at the front desk gave us... I honestly couldn't be happier with this hotel, the only problem? We were sad to leave! I'll DEFINITELY be staying at this hotel the next time I go to London! Lisez la suite

The location was excellent to the Rail Station and the Underground. A friendly local pub was just a block away. The hotel was under construction probably getting ready for the Olympics so we didn't get a feel for its full potentional. This hotel is not luxurious, but honestly (other than an alarm clock) it has everything that one could need, including refrigerator/minibar (which however the staff kept neglecting to restock, despite my frequent reminders). The breakfast was fine to my taste, but my 20 year-old daughter did not like it. The room was quite clean, and the beds/pillows […] were very comfortable. The shower was quite acceptable; plenty of hot H2O with a forceful stream. The soap bars were very small and dissolved after 1 person's use, but that problem was easily solved by asking for several more bars of soap! However the front desk staff was not too bright; once we asked the concierge to help us book tickets for the Eurostar and he told us twice that the charge wouldn't go through on my debit card, despite the fact that I had plenty of money in my account. A little later we discovered that the reason it didn't go through was that he had put down United Kingdom as the country we live in (we're actually from the USA!) The hotel is right next to Victoria Station, which makes it very convenient, although the view from the windows is not attractive and it is somewhat noisy if one were to stay on 1 of the lower floors (we were on the 5th floor, so the noise was not a problem). Acceptable and convenient to Victoria station...right across the street from the hotel. Very central There must have been something wrong with the heating and cooling because the entire hotel was a sauna and the air con wasn't working in the hotel. Air con in dec...yes. Would stay again to give the hotel a second chance

I booked a double but when I arrived was told only twin bedded rooms were available. When I protested they said they had one double after all. It turned out to be a room for a disabled person. There was no carpet so the floor was cold and clinical and no shower enclosure so water went all over the bathroom floor. Oyher than that, the bed was comfortable […] and the room clean. This hotel was nice with its modern decor and good location right next to the train station and a few blocks from Buckingham Palace. The bed was comfortable, the room was nice, but there is little space to move around in the room due to large furniture and poor views from the room window... which wasn't an issue for us at all. We are very easy going […] people, and we don't require much. However, we do like for our shower/bath to drain properly. Within a matter of seconds after turning on the shower or tub spout, the tub would be filled with water. The drain was clogged with other visitors hair, dirt, etc. We advised the front desk, and they moved us to another room. We quickly discovered the new room had the same issue. We were tired, it was late, so we thought we would sleep on it and discuss it with management in the morning. We spoke with the manager, and she advised us the tub drain would be repaired immediately. We returned to the hotel later that day, and the tub still would not drain. Of course the manager and maintenance was gone for the day. We checked out early the next morning and was not able to discuss the issue with management again. European hotels charge visitors before checking in, so they had their money and wasn't concerned. We really liked the hotel but didn't appreciate standing in several inches of water filled with other people's scummy dirt that had been built up in the drains. This hotel is very convenient for train/tube travel as it sits across the street from Victoria station. I ahve stayed there on 3 recent business trips in the past 2 years. The rooms are nice (although a few are quite small), the bed is very comfortable and the desk area is ample. However, the biggest problem is the quality and nonreliability of their […] free wireless internet in the rooms. It sometimes takes 10-15 attempts to connect over a 20 minute period with repeated logging in and logging out and rebooting of the computer to get a connection. The signal strength appears to be good, but it just won't connect. This is extremely frustrating and annoying and my cause me to not stay there in the future. Lisez la suite

Stayed 1 night on business - good location staff very helpful will use again.

I was very surprised on arrival at the hotel to find it under quite an extensive construction, there was loud drilling and the main entrance was closed. I had received no notification from the hotel that this would be happenning on my stay. I was then put on the 2nd floor right above the drilling which went on for hours. I rang reception and was told […] they would check out would construction be going on over the weekend and also why we had not been told about it, no one ever rang me back about this. The room was not very clean and the curtains were hanging off the window which also did not close properly so it was quite noisy. I found the staff to be unhelpful and never returned any calls, you felt like you were staying in an apartment rather than a hotel which should have staff on call at anytime. They layout of the wardrobe was also very strange as it was just shelves against the wall, my mother banged her head on the corner of one of these which is in a very dangerous area near the door, again no one was interested at reception and I could not get anyone to answer. So convenient, rooms were bigger than expected, very clean, reliable internet connection. Within short distance of train and tube station.

Thought the hotel was very well appointed, lots of places you could walk to. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean.

I booked this hotel based on the pictures and descriptions shown on hotels.com they gave me a room far from what I've seen on the pictures. Not clean, very small, and poorly maintain. The internet connection does not work 95% of the times and the service of the stuff is far from acceptable.
