Nous occupions l'une des chambres à trois lits dont une partie se trouve en mezzanine, du coup deux télés et plus d'espace pour tous. Enfin la situation de l'hôtel est très intérréssante, quartier très vivant le soir pour budget sérré, petit déjeuner à la hauteur et accueil souriant.

Bonne impression générale en découvrant la chambre (propre, équipée) mais les matelas étaient très médiocres. Nous pouvions sentir les ressorts.De plus les murs étant très fins nous avons été un peu dérangé par les aller et venues dans le couloir. Quoiqu'il en soit, c'est un hôtel très correct, l'accueil est sympathique et le petit-déjeuner copieux. L'emplacement est idéal, à deux pas de Hyde Park et sur la ligne Centrale du métro. Il y a même le bus 390 direct qui circule même la nuit depuis Oxford Street.

en arrivant agréable surprise d'avoir une chambre surclassée !!!! 2 chambres, séjour, salle de bains dernier étage pour un couple : pas de bruit de voisins, pas trop de rue même si nous étions côté rue. comme beaucoup d'hôtels anglais l'entretien des chambres et bâtiment (peinture, moquettes etc..) est un peu laissé de côté, il ne faut pas être regardant... par contre draps fournis et serviettes, le tout propre. disposés sur les lits avec savons+shampooing. Franchement le personnel est sympa, l'endroit pour des touristes est impecc. Sans hésiter si je devais repartir sur Londres, je rependrai cet hôtel ou le conseiller à un couple /famille.

Bon hôtel, grandes chambres agréables et très bien insonorisées (il vaut mieux, vu le trafic important près de l'hôtel). Très proche du centre commercial Bluewater et à moins de 10 min de la gare de Dartford, qui relie Londres en 40 min. En plus du côté pratique, cet hôtel permet de se relaxer après une journée harassante de shopping, puisque nous avons profité de la piscine intérieure, du jacuzzi et du sauna.

"Très satisfaits de notre séjour"
Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits dans cet hotel et avons été très satisfaits. Certes, il n'est pas situé dans le quartier touristique mais la station de métro Barbican est à 100 m seulement et les liaisons pour les autres quartiers sont fréquentes. Autre avantage ; la gare de St Pancras est à 2 stations de métro. Le personnel était très accueillant et efficace, […] la chambre calme, agréable et en très bon état. La kitchenette est certes exigüe mais très bien équipée (il y a même un lave vaisselle !). Un conseil : à votre arrivée, vérifiez que tout est en état de marche car le grille pain ne fonctionnait pas et il manquait une casserole. Cette formule est idéale et économique car la kitchenette vous permet de prendre au moins le petit déjeuner en chambre et de préparer un diner frugal. Lisez la suite

Bien situé mais bruyant. Chambre bien équipée mais vraiment très très petite et sombre avec canapé-lit dépliant. Et surtout vis-à-vis à moins de 3m. Le + : connexion internet par modem gratuite.

Hotel was very much to my satisfaction, primarily because the retractable bed leaves you with much more space in the room when retracted than I ever had in a London hotel room. I stayed in for some time to get some work out of the way, so the extra space was appreciated, as was the tea-kitchen. Cleanliness, comfort and maintenance of the room were OK […] but in no way extraordinary taking the price into account. Staff was friendly and even brought me some extra nescafé after I ran out. I stayed in this hotel because it was very close to my the office I had to visit. This is an apartment hotel with some cooking facilities. Room was decent and clean. The bed was built into a wall to save some space, so I had to pull the lever to unwrap it, but this was OK. On arrival room was not ready e.g. twin beds not visable- but soon rectified as they pulled one from under the other. No issues- good place to rest head after night out. Clean quiet & comfy. Didn't use hotel facilities

It's a nice apartment hotel in the City area of London. I like having a fridge and stove and be able to make breakfast in the room. However, the internet bandwidth is way under par. I was unable to use the connection for anything but email. For a professional on a business trip it very important for me to be able to attend online meetings, collaborate […] and share desktop and/or presentations, watch seminar video podcasts and more. I strongly suggest the hotel, to upgrade their internet capacity, so it meets the demand of modern business travelers. Except for the crappy internet capacity I can recommend this hotel. It's a clean hotel in a good neighborhood. Very small rooms. When I opened the murphy bed, I couldn't move past it in the room or sit at the desk. Also, they don't change out towels during your stay without a charge. Kitchen facilities were a nice addition. It's a good value and close to the Barbican Underground Station. Be prepared to get what you pay for. The location is convenient for the Barbican/City area, but the hotel is on a main road so traffic noise is bad - there is no air conditioning in the rooms so you have to leave the window open, which makes the noise worse. The bed was the pull down, which was comfortable but means the room has no space once the bed […] is down - the bathroom was very tired and I needed maintenance to come and fix the sink as it wouldn't drain. I stayed here because it was conveniently located and cheap for a London room, but I wouldn't stay again and find it hard to recommend. Lisez la suite

Nothing else to recommend about this hotel than the usefulness of not having to eat out every night. kitchen perfectly equiped. Everything else is shaby, the floor carpet feels sticky, the studio quarters are minuscule, the furniture is unspeakable. The bathroom was clean. We have stayed at the trafalgar square Citadines a few times, and although a little decoratively tired, it's in a great location. The Barbican Citadines is on the Cirlce Line and therefore not the easiest to get around town without one or two changes. Taxis are quite plentiful and there is a rank outside. Inside the hotel the rooms are very small and […] are studios. Your bed folds out from the sofa. Kitchen facilities are good BUT the main problem we had in early July was the Room Air Conditioning was not working. A frustrating late night call to reception and I was fobbed off with "its on a timer and we can't do anything" Absolute rubbish! it wasn't working when we checked in at 1pm nor at 6pm when we went back for a shower and change and then later at night and the following morning....funny timer?! Had to have the window open which I don't mind, but we were overlooking the busy street below. Friends were in another room and had the same issues. Disappointing. Lisez la suite

Good location, close to tube station, Barbican Centre, London Museum, Tate Modern, etc. Small rooms , but staff helpful and friendly. Expensive, but all accommodation is in the centre of London.

The bed is a sofa-bed and is one of the most uncomfortable beds in which I have slept. A colleague booked the room for me and was not aware that the bed would be a sofa bed and that that type of bed is the only one available in the hotel. "Above expectations"
Hotel was lovely, looks very posh as you walk in and check in is very fast. Room was way above our expectations spotless, and very comfy stocked full of different types of cooking utensils!! The bed was a pull down bed, and very comfortable. Overall we were very happy and wished we couldve stayed alot longer.

Hotel was pretty clean. The bed was a standard pull out bed, not great but acceptable. Kitchen had just about all the basics and everything was very clean there. Bathroom was kinda small and shower felt very small. Overall, I was happy with my choice.

Good value hotel, relatively cheap compared to other hotels this close to central london - only two stops away from kings cross tube station from where you can pretty much go anywhere in london. relatively quiet area. We stayed on the 7th floor where we had a big balcony and a nice view outside. We did not try the breakfast at the hotel, however considering […] breakfast is £10 per person, i would suggest going to the little cafe across the road which had some really good food with all day breakfast. Much cheaper than the hotel as well. There is also a good chinese restaurant near the hotel (where we had dinner one night) and an itailan as well. All in all a good hotel. Lisez la suite

OK - it was cheap, for central London, but the room was small, the bed (a sofa bed) exceptionally nasty to lie on, and generally I think I will pay a bit more to go somewhere else and actually sleep next time!

Bodde på Citadines Barbican i forbindelse med en konferanse i nærheten. I forhold til denne var beliggenheten bra, men skal du hovedsaklig tilbringe tiden i West End eller Kensington er kanskje ikke beliggenheten optimal. Kort vei til Barbican Undergound stasjon er dog et pluss. Jeg har erfaring med at det er dyrt å bo bra i London. Et gjennonsnittshotell […] i normal norsk prisklasse er dårligere enn tilsvarende i Norge.Sett i London-perspektiv ga Citadines Barbican bra valuta for pengene. Hotellet er rent og ryddig, og standarden er helt grei. Rommet jeg bodde på hadde sovesofa og komforten i denne var ikke helt som i en vanlig seng. Det er også greit å være klar over at rommene ikke blir ryddet daglig og det ikke blir dermed ikke byttet hånduker. I mitt tilfelle var det bare vask ved utsjekk som var inkludert. Lisez la suite

Das Citadines Barbican Hotel liegt in zentraler Lage im Barbican Bezirk, in direkter Nähe zum Barbican Centre, zur Barbican Station (U-Bahn) sowie in Laufdistanz zu Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Covent Garden oder dem Regents Park. Das Hotel liegt an einer vielbefahrenen Straße, bei geschlossenem Fenster ist das kein Problem, die Fenster sind dicht. Wer jedoch […] gewöhnt ist, bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen, der sollte sich unbedingt ein Zimmer zur Rückseite des Hotels geben lassen. Diese Zimmer münden in eine Seitenstraße und sind wesentlich ruhiger als die andere Seite. Die Zimmer sind mit einer eigenen Küche ausgestattet, sauber und klein. Statt eines Bettes befindet sich ein ausklappbares Sofa-Bett in den Zimmern. Diese Teile sind einfach zu bedienen und auch recht bequem. Wenn das Sofa jedoch ausgezogen ist, dann ist das Zimmer mehr oder weniger gefüllt, der Stuhl des am Bettende befindlichen Schreibtisches lässt sich dann nicht mehr unter dem Tisch hervorziehen... Zu beachten ist noch, dass die Zimmer nicht täglich gereinigt werden. Dies lässt sich aber wohl gegen Aufpreis vereinbaren, war aber in meinem Fall kein Problem. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Rezeption ist rund im die Uhr belegt. Ich habe dieses Hotel bereits mehrfach gebucht und werde es auch in den nächsten Monaten wieder nutzen. La location è perfetta: sei in piena City e a 100m dal metrò, il famigerato "tube". Certo devi sapere che hai un micro appartamento e non una camera. Quindi come tale devi sapere che la pulizia è una volta a settimana: se stai 5 giorni ci pensi da te. Però, grazie al cucinino, non sei costretto mangiare tutte le sere fuori, ed a Londra ciò è un vantaggio! Purtroppo […] credevo di aver diritto alla colazione, ma invece si dovevano pagare circa £11 cd. Per il resto è assolutamente da consigliare! Lisez la suite

"Lækker Hotellejlighed"
Rigtig fin hotellejlighed. Lækkert badeværelse med badekar. Lækkert lille køkken, hvor der er ALT hvad du skal bruge. Vi havde et rigtig lækkert ophold, og kan bestemt kun anbefale det til andre. Dejligt område, som er meget foretningspræget, så ingen larm.. Ligger kun 100 meter ca. fra Barbican Metro, som forbinder Circle Line, som tager dig til alle […] de centrale steder i London. "Super til prisen"
Vi havde en rigtig god oplevelse på dette hotel. Sengen var godt nok en sovesofa, der skulle slås ud, men det var der ingen problemer i. Værelset er ikke så stort som det fremgår af billederne, men det er i fin stand. Der er det man skal bruge i køkkenet, så man har mulighed for at lave lidt morgenmad eller andet på værelset, da det er lidt dyrt på […] hotellet. Det er også ret nemt at komme frem og tilbage med tuben fra Barbican st og hvis man er frisk tager det ca 3 kvarter at gå til alle butikkerne på Oxford street. Lisez la suite

Citadines Barbican er et hotel lavet af lejligheder, og lejlighederne er godt ekviperede. Der var lidt trangt for to personer og hvis man kan leve med en sovesofa gør det ikke noget. Der er et fuldt funktionelt køkken (uden ovn) og personalet er hjælpsomme til at give alternativer til hotelets egen restaurant. Morgenmad og rengøring af lejligheden er […] mod betaling. Der er trådløst net i loungen hvor der også er gratis te og kaffe, og lejligheden har ethernet med gratis internet til den bærbare. Håndklæder og sengetøj er på stedet. Jeg blev lidt nervøs, da vi fik en lejlighed på første sal ud mod vejen, da jeg havde læst om støjniveauet af gaden udenfor. Jeg blev overrasket over hvor godt vinduerne isolerede lyden, da man intet kunne høre med lukkede vinduer. Dejligt hotel der ligger tæt på centrum og som ikke koster det store. Hotelværelserne er ligesom små lejligheder, og der er fin plads. Servicen var helt i top - meget venlig betjening hele vejen i gennem Vi kan varmt anbefale dette hotel og regner også med at komme tilbage

Siisti OK paikalla oleva hotelli, tosin Barbicanin metro oli jatkuvasti kiinni. Miinuksia pienestä huoneesta, ei siivottu kolmen päivän aikana, adapteri ei kuulunut hintaan, wlani ei toiminut huoneessa (oli lan mahdollisuus, joka ei auttanut iPhone käyttäjää). Eli OK, mesta muttei yllättänyt positiivisesti.
"NIce hotell, but its internet was crap"
Me and my wife had a pleasant stay at this hotel. There were only two things that annoyed me a lot. First, was the internet broadband that was anything but broad, more comparable to modem speed. For example, Google Maps loads terrible slow. Second, was some kind of electrical interference that caused my laptop to crash and reboot. That occurred after […] 10-15 minutes of work and prevented me from working. After returning home I could conclude there was not any wrong with my laptop, it has now been going for several days without reboots. Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä hotelliin. Huone oli viihtyisä, siisti ja moderni. Keittokomero erittäin toimiva ja keittiöstä löytyivät tarvittavat välineet pienimuotoiseen ruuan valmistukseen. Henkilökunta vaikutti kivalta ja asiansa osaavalta. Sijainti oli tdella hyvä kaikkia keskeisiä kohteita ajatellen. Suosittelen lämpimästi! Lontoon Liverpool stationilta […] oli ainoastaan 10 minuutin kävelymatka hotelliin (Ryannairin stansted-expres päättyi London Liverpool stationille). Lisez la suite

Hotellet ligger i et godt kvarter ikke langt fra det indre af London. Undergrundsbanen kan benyttes fra Barbican få minutter væk og en anden linie er tilgængelig fra Sct. Paul´s ca. 10 min. gang væk. Der er indkøbsmuligheder indenfor 1 min. gang alle ugens dage. Vi var heldige med et værelse væk fra den befærdede vej og ved derfor ikke om den evt. kan […] give lidt støjgener. Lisez la suite
