Bon motel pour une étape, spacieux, bien entretenu, au calme, le service y est professionnel et agréable. On appréciera la piscine et le jacuzzi chauffés et le petit déjeuner suffisant pour commencer une bonne journée. Les environs ne présentent pas de grand intérêt si ce n'est pour la restauration rapide. Voiture indispensable!

très bon état général, les environs ne sont pas fameux mais tous les motels sont au même niveau sur ce point là. La salle de bain comprend seulement les toilettes et une baignoire, le lavabo est dans la pièce principale avec un évier en plus ce qui n'est pas très pratique. le confort de l’hôtel est très bien, la pièce est assez grande mais seulement pour une nuit car il n'y a rien d’intéressant dans la ville. l'accueil est tres satisfaisant.

L'accueil était sympathique, la chambre était propre et grande, seul bémol le petit déjeuner avec seulement des beignets et des gauffres à faire soi-même... mais trois restaurants sont disponibles à proximité (In and out, Denny's et Quizznos sub) Bien dans l'ensemble et très près de l'autoroute ce qui donne l'avantage de partir très vite vers notre destination finale (dans mon cas Los Angeles en 1h30-2h).

Hotel dans downtown sur une avenue fréquentée. Demander en priorité une chbre donnant sur l'arrière de l'hotel. Hotel très propre et chambre irréprochable. Les chambres sont grandes et les literies sont de très bonnes qualités. Accueil parfait, piscine et jacuzzi propres. Pas de jugement sur les repas, nous ne sommes restés qu'une courte nuit. "Very nice"
The hotel was really nice! The only problem I had, is that I requested a double bed and they only had a single with a fold out bed. It was very clean!
"Trains"
The hotel and it's staff are lovely. The back of the hotel is a parking lot away from a train track and stop. We were awoken in the wee hours of the morning by sounding train whistle blasts. Having a room on the front of the building may or may not help.

"Nice hotel"
The buffet is overpriced. The wait staff is slow and not attentive. They left a dirty plate and extra dirty coffee cup on my table despite passing it several times. I've had better service at Denny's and there were only two tables with people. The wait staff hovered around the front entrance and did little to make our breakfast enjoyable. "Clean Rooms, Great Staff"
When I checked in I was first greeted by two very friendly and helpful agents at the front desk. Very nice girls! My room was modern and clean and the location was very convenient. Later I had drinks at the bar which boasted a happy hour that went to 7PM. The bartenders were very nice too. All in all, my stay at the Marriott Bakersfield was excellent. The people were very friendly, helpful and accommodating! It was clean. One thing we would have liked...a small fridge in the room. Also the heating vent made a great deal of noise when turning on and off...startling us as we were falling asleep. We did change rooms after two nights and it was slightly better.

I had an excellent experience at the Bakersfield Marriott; right next door to the concert venue (Rabobank Arena), it was the perfect location. "Downtown Marriott in Bakersfield"
Quality for cost was superior however a bug (kind of looking like roach) fell out of our information book in our room. Bed very comfortable, nice linens. Room service was excellent- we had drinks and a sandwich but menu had enough choices for any time of day. . Bar and lobby area very attractive, Poolside area great for our party. "The Bakersfield Marriott - Downtown"
Clean & quiet, close to downtown for business. Be sure to ask for a room facing the street. Easy access to freeway 99 yet, far enough away so there is no freeway noise.
"Comfortable - but lacking in internet service"
The room was great -- large, clean, and comfortable. The only problem was the poor internet connection. It was virtually unusable. If that issue is overcome, this is a great hotel.

The hotel room was ok. Beds were comfortable, lots of pillows, flat screen tv. But a view of the parking lot and the bathroom fan didn't work and the drain couldn't be stopped up in the tub. Overall experience was just average.

Great hotel staff. Friendly and helpful. Stayed 7 nights. Lots of things needed repairs. Ice machine out of order. Coke machine out of order. Washing machine out of order. Water pipe burst 1 morning leaving no hot water. All things considered - an ok stay.
Considering I had to go to Bakersfield on a medical emergency regarding my stepson, the hotel was in great proximity to the hospital. I booked the hotel on my way to Bakersfield via smartphone. When I arrived at the hotel I was pleasantly surprised at the appearance of the lobby and spacious bar area. The pool was open late, which was nice. The room […] was in great shape and the beds were made up beautifly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would strongly recommend the Marriott Bakersfield for myself or any other traveler in the future. "Great bang for the buck"
We make it a point to stay in Bakersfield Marriott whenever the road trip allows. Very comfortable and reasonable. The one thing I would like to see at this hotel is to have later pool hours. It is very hot in Bakersfield and it is very refreshing to use the pool after dark. Overall, another great experience at this hotel.

Everything was great except I had two issues. Firstly, the tv reception wasn't great. It wasn't terrible but there was some confusion as to what channels were received and channels going in and out. Not a big issue but in a town like Bakersfield where there isn't much to do - tv is key. The other issue was that the vent in the bathroom didn't work. After staying there we left a dvd box set in the room. I called the next day and it took them 3 hours to "look" for it and call me back. They said they called the maid and she said she never saw it....of coarse. We know we left it right on the dresser but thats what we get. The hotel was ok. The food is excellent. I highly recommend you order the brisket. They will run out. The problem is there are no good restaurants close by and the location is next to the coventioncenter, court house, jail, police station etc. I am always a bi nervous about bring next to so many police cars. I could tell they were constantly running […] my plates. Good thing my record is clean. Another problem is that you can't check in until 3 pm. I got in at 10am. They would not give me a room until 3. I'm used to staying in very cheap places, so the Marriott was a nice upgrade for me. The only downside, IMO, was the fact that the parking lot and people in the halls were audible, but that's not really the fault of the hotel. There didn't seem to be an event or huge amount of guests, but if you're a little sensitive to noise like I am, I'd recommend […] earplugs for those occasional loud-talking stragglers. Lisez la suite
We really enjoyed our recent overnight stay at the Bakersfield Marriott. The hotel was very new and clean, and is centrally located. We splurged and ordered room service, which had a good sized service fee, however the food was very good and the convenience was worth it for this particular trip. Next time, we will skip the service fee and just go downstairs […] to the restaurant on site. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was spacious. I was disappointed that our room had no refrigerator, which I guess I expected for a nicer hotel like this. Another drawback was the lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Stayed in April, 2011 on business. Internet was down for most of my 3 night stay. Overall room seemed clean except for mildew on shower curtain, yuck. No full length mirror so had to hope I looked ok. Air conditioner sounded like a jumbo jet about to take off. Train runs behind hotel and train honked horn at 5:00am. Hotel is next door to convention […] center and shares parking lot so very early morning, either big truck or tour bus (too tired to get up and look) sat with motor running outside my window. Wasn't to happy when we got to the hotel and we requested 2 queen beds and got 1 king bed and a very lously hard sofa sleeper with no bedding for it.
Overall, I was very happy with the stay. I do wish that breakfast was included, as it usually is at the places I stay. I was very disappointed to discover that there was no coffee machine in my room (all the other stuff was there). I know it must have been broken and in the process of being replaced. and convention center. It was also a very secure hotel. You had to use your room key to activate the elevator so only guests with rooms could get onto the upper floors. This was really good with weddings and other functions going on during our stay.

"Marriott Bakersfeild"
I stayed for one night for business. The bed was very comfortable with lots of fluffy pillows. I ordered room service (which was excellent) and fell asleep while watching the flat screen TV. The next morning I was within walking distance of my meeting. If I have to come to Bakersfield again I will stay at the Marriott.
