Pour nous c'était le luxe! L'hotel est une succession de grandes maisons de 3 niveaux, chacun ayant sa terrasse privée avec vue sur le Golf et la végétation tropicale. Un vrai appartement décoré comme dans les magazines (entrée, cuisine américaine électro kitchen aid, grand salon)la baie vitrée donne accès à la terrasse privée. 2 salles de bain (tous les produits sont fournis:dentifrice gel douche shampoing après shampoing et lait hydratant) et une immense chambre. La piscine à côté de la réception est grande avec de multiples chaises longues et jacuzzi(les serviettes sont fournies). Le restaurant de l'hotel est très bon, le menu enfant est très bien).Le Spa et la salle de sport en haut de la réception sont très luxueux. Attention cependant, nous sommes à 20 min en voiture de Miami beach, et à côté de l'aéroport (mais on n'entend pas du tout les avions)

Satisfait de tout, sauf peut être de la superficie de la chambre et du lit, qui sont vraiment minuscules

Nous y avons passé deux nuits au début de notre autotour. Hôtel calme, propre. Personnel sympathique et disponible. Petit-déjeuner complet. A proximité de l'US 1 pour rejoindre les principales attractions de Miami. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. A recommander.

NE PAS SE FIER AUX COMMENTAIRES PRECEDENTS l'hotel est génial les réceptionistes super accueillant et qui parlent francais (1sur3). Les chambres sont spacieuses et tres bien equipées. Les 2 jaccuzis sont au top! Certes il y a une taxe de séjours de 60$ non mentionnées mais a part sa tout était parfait. Hotel tres bien situé a 50 metres des bars et en meme temps l endroit est calme. Seul Hic des vacances lorsque vous louez une voiture bien faire attention au stationnement on ne peut quasiment se garer nul part les parcmètres proposent une durée de stationnement courte et si vous dépassez de 2min vous avez une amende a 90% je parle en connaissance de cause..(18$ a regler sous 1 semaine sinon 48$) des parkings payant et surveillés sont proposés mais 30$ minimum la journée...les fourrieres tournent 24h/24 et la facture s'élève a 300$ prenez garde! Hotel a conseillé vivement 4.5/5

Chambres très simples, mal voire très mal insonorisées; service du personnel très moyen. Hôtel parfait pour des jeunes non regardants sur le confort et le bruit sonore ambiant et recherchant une solution bon marché bien située.

Hotel bien situé dans le quartier Art Deco mais très bruyant une bonne partie de la nuit à cause du bar de l'hotel qui se trouvent juste sous les fenêtres....

Idéal pour aller dans le quartier art deco, proche de la plage, des restos et bars branchés. Prévoir des boules quies pour dormir. Personnel très sympa.
"Kent hotel, South Beach"
Hôtel très bien situé près d'Océan drive et la plage. Joli déco mais accueil pas très sympathique, nous n'avions pas de papier toilette dans notre chambre, qu'1 serviette pour 4, pas de gobelets et la visite d'un cafard.. Les chambres sont jolies mais très mal insonorisés.

Accueil parfait, personnel très sympa. Idéalement siuté dans le quartier Art Déco de Miami Beach. Ne pas hésiter à prendre le parking car sinon c'est un peu compliqué pour trouver une place dans le quartier. Un peu de bruit la nuit, prévoir les boules quies pour bien dormir.

Nous sommes arrivés et nous avons trouvé un sol sale pas aspiré, nous prenons une douche et la poignée de la douche tombe, sans oublier que la douche innonde toute la salle de bain!!! La nuit les fetards claquent les portent de l'hotel rigole gaiement dans les couloirs et dans les chambres jusqu'à cinq heure du mat'!! Nous ne sommes peut etre pas tombé […] le bon jour pour le bruit mais ayant été dans des tas d'autres hotels avant, de tout style et n'ayant pas été reveillés dans les autres (meme a New York pourtant petit hotel) je pense que l'insonorisation été pourrie...le personnel normal mais pas vraiment accueillant et souriant. Et une odeur bizarre flotte dans les étages, un parfum d'ambiance qui a tourné peut etre?!!! Il n'y a que la situation pas loin de la plage (pas de vrai "plage privée" j'avais vraiment pas compris ce terme la pour le coup je pense que c'est du a ma naïvetée car plage privé a Miami je sais pas si c'est possible sans la grosse maison qui va avec au loin!!!). Heureusement on y est resté qu'une nuit! Je ne le conseille pas du tout, meme si il y a surement pire nous en gardons une très mauvaise expériences!! Lisez la suite

++ Extremely helpfull and friendly staff - gave a lot of info, permitted to keep bike in the hotel etc etc. +/- room cleaning was sometimes eratic, quality of decoration, beds, bathroom on the low side of a 3 star (thoug renovation going on). -- A lot of noise, right side rooms = the bar open 'til 1 or 2 am, left side = the parking lot, with sirens […] screaming, all rooms very badly isolated, you sleep with the people walking above your head and the tele of the left and right neighbours literally in your room. "Sejour Inoubliable."
Merci à cet hotel. Il est idealement plaçée sur collins avenue. Tous est faisable à pied pour ceux qui n'ont pas de vehicule. La plage à 3 minutes. Lincoln Mall à 10 minutes. Washington avenue (Parallele à L'hotel ) ou se trouve les restos et les boutiques moins chères que sur Collins avenue . Il ya meme un petit Market en face de l'hotel ou on peut […] trouver un bon cafe avec des croissant , ainsi que tout le necessaire pour faire quelques courses. L'hotel est tres propre et calme. Le personnel discret et aimable. Les chambres propres et faites de façon reguliere et efficace. Spacieuse avec literie haut de gamme. Ecran plat full size avec cable. Wifi gratuit dans les chambres et qui fonctionne. Vrai frigo bien pratique. Et petite info il y avait toujours des places de de parking dans les rues entourant l'hotel,pour ceux qui refusent les parkings à 25 dollars la journée ( Mais gare aux Pv parfois....) "Good for one night"
Our rooms looked like dorm rooms, the beds are tiny and the furniture is pretty sparse. The room could have been cleaner, but there were no bugs which is a plus in Florida. It's in a great location; we walked everywhere, to restaurants, bars, the beach and shopping.

I'm so glad that we chose this hotel. Everything about it was PERFECT! Yes, I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone planning to go to MIA.

This was a great choice because being in the heart of South Beach the rooms were clean, modern, with HD tv cd player, cold AC. It is close to everything and very affordable. Don't expect concierge or anything like that except and great room to sleep in.

the only complaint I have about this hotel is that the room is small. There is a little table top ledge above the fridge that you literally had to squeeze by. But that's it! "Dirty and it smelled like weed"
My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for literally 1 hour and we had to get out. The hotel smelled like weed and we could hear everything through the walls, including at women vomiting. The bathroom and sink was clogged and the table tops had hairs on them. Not recommended. I have to say that the staff was helpful and understood what we were complaining […] about and they refunded us our money, so we could go sleep at a different hotel. Lisez la suite

"Great location"
Hotel is small, and inconvenient to unload your luggage. Also, they don't allow for late check-outs. Its in a great location though, and very affordable for the area.

My husband was surprised I would stay there. The room was not modern but we only slept there so it was adequate. Very close to the beach and restaurants and bus lines. The young fellow at the front desk when we arrived lacked personality.

"Kent Hotel Miami Beach - Very close to the shore"
Good hotel, 5 minute walk away from the beach. Right in the middle of shopping, food, anything else you could ask for in Miami. The staff was a little careless and as a result I had to get my room changed after I settled into my first room, but everything else went well.
Great location. Authentic art deco. Friendly service. Valet parking reasonably priced. Very good experience.

"Not a fan of South Beach, Kent on par with others"
So...I had no idea what a dump South Beach was. The beach was beautiful...no doubt about that. The best beach I have seen in Florida. However, the moment you step foot off of the beach, it is dirty, smelly, there seemed to be drugs everywhere, and I did not feel completely safe. The Kent was on par with other hotels in the Art Deco area (aka...everything […] was constructed in the 50's and 60's). The beds were really comfy, and one of the front desk clerks was fabulous (Francois) - he was very nice and helpful. I would love to have him on all of my vacations. However, the Kent smelled of weed the whole time we were there, one worker seemed very high the entire time (not Francois), and one of the bartenders at the hotel spoke about some of the drug trips she has been on. While I am sure this is the case all over the place, it still left me never really wanting to go back to South Beach. However, if this is your scene and you are going to South Beach, the Kent is an okay choice. I will opt to go to other areas of Florida next time. Lisez la suite

The Kent is a good choice if all you're looking for is a nice basic room in South Beach. The hotel has no amenities, except free wi-fi. But the rooms are modern and clean and the bathroom is updated. The price was great and the area has a lot to recommend it, although you're a block from the beach. N

"Great location but room was just OK."
Not a bad hotel for the price,, just not great attention to detail. Room smelled of smoke which was the main detraction for me, even though it was a non smoking room. The television remote control didn't work but not a big deal for an overnight stay. AC was noisy, but worked pretty well for a wall unit. "Kent Hotel South Beach - Great Location/Ammenities"
I was very pleased with the Kent Hotel when i stayed there last week. The staff was friendly, my room on the 3rd floor (top floor) was nicely updated which included a beautiful bathroom with rain shower. It was a quiet and comfortable sleep for all three nights. The room was not overly big, but i wasn't looking for that, i needed comfortable, clean, […] & reasonably priced, and that's exactly what i got. The room was very cool--Scandinavian modernish--and Francois the concierge was most helpful suggesting a great Cuban restaurant. Only a block from Ocean Avenue and all the people watching, guitar playing, etc. A great value and 30 minutes to the airport.

Our stay was very enjoyable. the room was clean. There was an issue with the toilet running on which was addressed promptly once the front desk was advised. The room previously assigned to us was to close to elevators and restaturant bathroon;however, when we asked for a change of rooms we were moved quickly and with no fuss. All of the staff were courteius […] and were helpful in assisting us with finding out how to get to the variuos venues and restaurants we wanted to go to. Only complaint about our room is that it was on the first floor right next to the public restroom and lobby. The noise was extreme. If you are given that room ask for a change immediately.
"Not a bad hotel"
It took over an hour to check in. The gentleman behind the counter took his sweet time and although there were only two groups of people ahead me, it took an extremely long time to get me checked in. Once checked in, the hotel wasn't too bad. Great location right off the strip, quiet, stylish and the hotel was cool for the price.

The location is great but the noise level in the hotel was horrible. There is a restaurant in the lobby and the customers could be heard all through the night as well as car alarms from the parking lot next door. The lobby is nothing great and the rooms were just okay. Not worth the price and wouldn't stay here again.

Really wanted to give this place four stars. It's no question that this is a 3 star hotel but unlike most of the older hotels on the south beach, this one is actually pretty clean. And the staff was super friendly. Stayed here for new years. Simply put, if you are coming to south beach to party and drink...and want to save the extra money on liquor...then […] book this room. It's your basic 3 star room..no thrills, no over the top amenities....just a clean bed, tube tv, clean bathroom shower, and a window lol. And the location could not be any more perfect. The ocean is right behind you and washington ave(where all the clubs are) is right in front of you. The only issue I had was parking. That deserves a big sad face :(. "Great location, clean and updated rooms"
I was a bit anxious because of the price point, but overall my expectations were exceeded. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and updated, albeit small. Valet parking is $20, and the location is perfect.
