Nice size room, shower needed tile updated. Front desk busy on Easter weekend with only one staff member (needed 2). Restaurant service/food both very good. Within walking distance of 1/2 dozen restaurants.

What a great hotel - comfortable, well laid-out, easy to find. The only thing I didn't love was the underground parking lot not being too well-lit. Counterbalancing that though, are the FANTASTIC staff. In addition, the conference rooms are in good shape, the bar/restaurant is convenient, and there's a Starbucks right next door. Overll, it was a pretty good stay. The hotel was clean. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, and helpful. We found that most people in the city were friendly, and helpful. Our room was clean, however, it was very hot the air condition was not working properly. We had three people in our room, but were left with towels and washclothes for two people […] everyday. The bar and restuarant in the lobby had good food, but the choices were limited. We order room service at least once a day. We had MANY problems. We arrived at the hotel. Although the GPS address is not the address of the hotel. I checked in and payed my 20 for selfpark and my truck is higher than the self park garage and had to valet park which is 8 dollars more. Room was great and very nice. You have to pay extra for the wifi at 13 a day. we decided not to use that. Had to go to front desk […] to ask about surrounding resteraunts. wished we could have looked that up ourselves. Our executive suite was a two room suite with a King bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the other room. Suite was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. I had to ask to have my room cleaned/bed made up and then had to wait at night for them to do it. If the the "do not disturb" sign is on the room door in the morning, then that means the staff should take note, return later and do their job. This did not happen and was unexpected and disappointing for a Marriott. Other than that, the staff were superb […] and the breakfast omellette chef made up for the rest. Cheers! Lisez la suite

My only complaints, both fairly minor were 1) the system for driving into the parkjing garage was difficult to figure out and caused a fair amount of heartburn; and 2) the breaksfast buffet service was not very good: the "crisp bacon" was soggy and the Tabasco I requested for my omlet arrived when the omlet was […] about gone. This is a beautiful, upscale hotel in the heart of midtown Atlanta. It's close to the aquarium, close to Mary Mac's Tearoom, and close to a host of other attractions. Our room was absolutely gorgeous and really huge. But there were two shortcomings: 1) Our bed - though really beautiful - was horribly soft. It was so soft that our backs hurt both days, […] and neither of us could get comfortable. This was a big, big letdown and negatively impacted our trip. 2) Internet access is $12.99 a day. I know that's standard at upscale hotels, but it was still a disappointment. But we loved the separate bedroom and living area; this let my partner watch tv on the couch while I took a nap on the too-soft bed. Most other guests were there on business and very dressed up. I've stayed at this hotel before and have always been pleased with the rooms and the service. Front desk staff are helpful and friendly as are the valet staff. There always seemed to be someone there to open the door for me and give a warm greeting. The accomodations were wonderful! The room was well lit and cheery, and it was very clean. They could have used more help during the check in process. There was little bit of a wait. We had a small issue with the door key but they were very attentive and were able to get it fixed right away.

The hotel is well located if you want to bounce around the Midtown area, visit Piedmont Park or the Botanical Gardens. There are nice restaurants within walking distance. The room was very nice with a wonderfully comfortable bed. The staff was helpful and polite at all times. I'll return.
