My stay here was nice they were under construction but it didn't matter we went to Disneyland. This place is walking distance to downtown Disney and Disneyland 10 min. I will stay here again.
"All I ask for is a clean room"
We have gone to Disney many times and stayed at many hotels. We like convenience of being able to walk and all we really care about is a clean room. However, when we walked in, first thing you notice is the damp mold smell. Then there were red stains and burn marks on the carpet. The beds are hard as rocks. The toilet lid didn't match the toilet, so […] you could see into the tank. I will never stay there again. Lisez la suite
"Easy walk to Disney"
Hotel rooms are showing their age.
Close to Disneyland. Lots of places with in walking distance to eat at. Nice hot tub and pool to relax in.
It was petfect for our 1st family vacation cant wait to go back
"Castle inn in anahiem"
The location was great near garden walk and Disneyland !!
"Looking for a hotel SOLELY TO SLEEP IN"
I booked this hotel for two reasons: a. the rate was a very good price, and b. it has a prime location on Harbor Blvd., with easy access to Disneyland. As such, my expectations for this hotel were not very high at all. Based on previous hotels, I knew what I was getting myself into, and that I was only booking this room to get some sleep. For this […] purpose, I thought the hotel was pretty good. From my interactions with the staff, they were very friendly and helpful. However, like other reviewers have stated, the showers lack pressure in the shower heads, so expect to take longer to get through your showers. The room I had did have a funky scent as far as the freshener is concerned, but it wasn't enough to persuade me to consider another location in the area. Overall, it's only about a block away from the Disneyland park entrance, and if all you need is a place to sleep and shower, this is not a bad place to consider. Lisez la suite
"Castle Inn in Anaheim - close to Convention Ctr"
Although the location was great, the beds were antiques and horrible. They were old, lumpy and uneven. Didn't have one good night's sleep. When I complained to the person at the front desk, I got some 'pat' remark. This hotel is not worth the money.
The rooms look way better in the pics. Our room smelled like a wet dog and the xarpet had flees. The wifi doesn't work in the rooms, you have to go to the lobby for a connection. The staff are nice but overall i would not stay here again
"Very Close to Disneyland"
No complaints at all with this hotel. It is an older hotel....it was clean, pool was small but nice and the man at the front desk was very helpful. We had to walk about two blocks to Disneyland, its a safe area to walk and I would recommend the Ihop over the food within the park. Water pressure from the shower was just fine. This was a basic hotel for […] what we needed (a place to sleep) and I would stay here again if visiting Disneyland. Lisez la suite
"Castle inn and suites near Disneyland"
Convenient location, walking distance to Disneyland. My daughter loved it coz she got to sleep in a castle! The room we got was on the 2nd floor and it was clean with a tv, fridge and coffee maker included. The staff were curteous and pleasant. They allowed us to check in early and even leave our car even after we checked out. Overall it is a good hotel […] and i would definitely come back and recommend it to friends and family. Amie fr Sd Lisez la suite
Not enough pillows or towels in room and it was like pulling teeth to get some. the water pressure in the shower was terrible. Taking a shower was impossible. And no continental breakfast. We could have paid the same or less and get these things. We will try a different hotel next year
"I'd have a very hard time staying here again."
The hotel is old and in desperate need of a remodel. My biggest complaint was that our room had a terrible old musky smell that was terrible to come "home" to. The room was overall clean and maintenance was good. The hotel lacks ammenaties and the front desk staff was nice. I would compare this hotel to a super 8crappy or motel 6. Its a 5-10 minute […] walk to Disney though so if you get an amazing deal and don't mind the "oldness" it might be worth it. The Red Lion and Portofino are so much nicer and just a little bit further and I would highly recommend those. Lisez la suite
"If you're 9 years old, this hotel is great..."
Stayed at the Castle Inn for my daughter's cheer competition (Mar 1-4, 2012). She LOVES it! feels like a queen in a Castle. I on the other hand, am not 9 nor as easily impressed. The room was clean enough and desk staff was friendly. That's about all the nice you get. 1. Coffee pot didn't work and there was no outlet where they put the pot so had to […] move it to get it to work first. 2. Internet: I have to sit with my computer on the table right next to the window to get 4 bars. move it 2 feet and it goes down to 3, try to sit it on the nightstand to watch TV (reason coming up) and you are lucky if you get 1, but generally it looses sight of the connection all together. Took me litterally HOURS to upload my disney photos to facebook, and that was with the best possible connection they had which is by the pool. 3. TV is just regular TV as far as I could tell no cable. no remote, tube style old TV with mostly static for channels. 4. You can hear everything outside, next door, wherever. 5. the little fridge in the room has a loud hum.... when it isn't rattling. 6. There was NO feasable water pressure out of the shower... and the shower head came apart while I was taking a shower... I had my daughter wash her hair using the tub faucet so she could get all the shampoo out. Being close to the parks is nice and saves on parking fees at the garage. It is about a 15 minute walk, which is very doable. Next time, however I will try the Anaheim Desert Inn and see what that is like. (and it is closer to the park entrance.) Lisez la suite

"Worth money paid"
Castle Inn has always been what I have expected it to be. It is not a 4 star hotel but it is clean and the staff has always been very friendly and accommodating. The distance to the parks is great and there are restuarants within walking distance. I would recommend it and I will stay there again.
"Close to Disney"
Walking distance to Disneyland. Rooms are outdated but really we only needed a place to sleep and shower. You get what you pay for. Sfaff very friendly. Very accomodating with their parking. Even let me park for free after checking out instead of making drive to the Disney parking. Hotels in the area change alot for parking even to registered guests. […] I will be coming back for sure! The only negative thing is there is NO water pressure in the shower. I had to use the ice bucket to help rinse my hair. Lisez la suite
"The castle inn near Disneyland"
Thr shower has no water pressure & I had to rinse the shampoo out of my hair by the bathtub faucet. The beds were very uncomfortable. Luckily, the price and location were good.
"Maintenance problems"
TV had problem getting several LOCAL channels, and the remote didn't have "channel up/down" working. The first requested replacement remote control didn't work better. Some channels would be on and then would fade out to static. Shower drain wasn't flowing well but did work better after we reported the problem. WiFi only available in the lobby. Overall […] this hotel while generally clean does feel really really old. Lisez la suite

"Castle Hotel is getting old"
Hotel provides bare bones use. Its location is key but it is getting run down.

"Castle Inn by Disneyland"
Location was within walking distance of the resort, and kids would love the "castle" appeal of the exterior, but the mattresses were old/worn and not very comfortable. Also, there is no breakfast option available unless you go purchase it at a neighboring restaurant. But all in all, I would stay there again if I were looking for something cheap.
"Castle Inn - Hidden Fees"
We normally stay at the Anaheim Plaza hotel which is right next door, when we go to Disneyland. We thought it might be a nice change to stay in a castle since the prices were the same. However when we checked in, we were surprised to find that there were additional charges for a crib and microwave of $6 each per night for an additional total of $24. […] We were not expecting to spend the extra money for amenities that we usually have included in our price at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. As for our stay, we were on the third floor and yet still had another floor above us with noisy people at all hours we were in our room. Moving forward, we will be staying at the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. "Good place to stay while visiting Disneyland"
Just a couple of minutes to the front gate The room was more spacious than i thought except to bathroom basin counter other than that good place to stay at an affordable price !

"Castle Inn"
The hotel is very close to Disneyland. It is old and the furnishings are dated, however it was very clean.
"comfortable"
I have stayed at the Castle Inn twice now and I have no problem staying there again.Location close to disneyland and comfortable enough for the price I payed.
"so-so"
Bad: 1.Upon arriving, I opened the drawers. Hair and dirt in them. Not particularly happy about that. 2. A hair on the shower wall and hair on the toilet (I know it's just a hair, but ewww). 3. someones leftover piece of cereal dried to the chair (small miss by housekeeping) 4. The coffee that comes with the room is not a good blend/flavor, they should […] really get a different one, it would make a difference. 5. Coffee pot only makes a couple cups of coffee at a time. 6. Nothing grand or great about it. Pool is not as large as picture shows. 7.No continental breakfast 8. if you don't want sap on your car, don't park under the trees. 9. Beds and pillows FLAT as a pancake. Bed sloped. 10. No internet Good: 1. The front desk people were always very courteous and nice. Lenient to the rules as long as it didn't effect others. They checked us in right away rather than make us wait. 2. Bathrooms are newly painted and caulked, so they appeared clean even with the 2 hairs left behind. 3. SUPER close to Disneyland, a block and a half walk. Do-able for a 7 year old and above, the convenience for us was great. 4. fridge had a small freezer we used to freeze our bottled waters and it kept everything nice and cold 5. lipton black tea, great coffee substitute, if you don't like the flavor. 6. Nice little oatmeal massage soap bar. 7. Other than the drawers looking like they forgot to clean them, the room in general and bedding was in decent shape (carpet was oldish) but our linens were nice and white and appeared clean. 8. great blackout curtains Overall, not a great value, but the convenience is nice. "Disney close Hotel"
This Hotel is very dated. Rooms are in poor condition. Stayed two nights received no maid service, when we complained we were told the maid was busy. No water pressure in the room, the Hotels TV cable system is bad so TV reception is very poor. All room doors open onto open halls which are noisy. While this Hotel is within walking distance to Disney, […] don't stay here, There are better hotels at equal price just as close to the parks. Lisez la suite

"So now I've stayed at the Castle"
Close to Disneyland - hotel closer to Disney Way than Magic Way and have to cross the intersection of Ketella. Parking is included in room price. Most staff members were friendly and willing to help meet guests request. Beds were fairly comfortable. Refrigerator kept drinks cold. After evening showers, tub faucet leaked through the first night. Maintenance […] took care of it the next day - no problem with leaking after that. Pricey for what you get compared to other accommodations and amenities available near by. When I was a child I wanted to stay here - castle, knights and the whole King Arthur thing - so now I have had enough nights at the Castle Inn to last the rest of my life. Lisez la suite
"Castle inn & suites .....great location"
It really is a close hotel that isn't a rip off.Its the perfect walking distance to Disneyland basically u get to the hotel before your legs fall off!! Lol Sure it's alittle dated but for the price you can't go wrong. My daughters get so excited to see they are staying in a castle and the look on thier face is so worth it.I have stayed here 2 times […] and will stay again !! Lisez la suite

"Disney Honeymoon"
For an older hotel you can't beat the quality. Hotels in walking distance of food and Disney. Excellent. Better then our stay in Las Vegas.
"Good but could be better"
The hotel is not bad, the rooms are clean. It is very close to Disneyland. The TV was not working, there is no wireless connection in the room, there was a fridge but no microwave. It is the first time we stayed there and we chose it because we liked the nice castle exterior. I think I would stay next time in some other hotel - with WiFi and microw […] ave. Lisez la suite
"Rooms need a make over"
I had always wanted to stay at this place, never again!! The outward presentation is amazing and the lobby is very cute. But once I walked into my room I felt like I checked into a motel 6!!! The bath tub never stopped dripping and the mirror had rust spots all over it. The only good thing was the location to Disneyland Park.

"Will come again"
I chose this hotel because of the location and the reasonable rate. I would have to say that I was very satisfied with my entire stay. In general the hotel is older and could use some updating but overall the room was very clean. There was a small fridge and I was able to request a microwave be brought to the room. The pool stayes open until 10:00 and […] there is a store on site. The walk to the DL entrance is literally a 5 minute walk and in the heart of all of the restaurants. When travelling to DL I am not concerend with staying in the nicest hotel. For me and my family it is a matter of comfort and convenience and this hotel met both of those. I would definately stay again. Lisez la suite

"Castle Inn & Suites"
For the price, you honestly get a good deal. For 4 adults, a suite is just right and you can't beat the price. We'd like to see the amenities bumped up a notch -- breakfast that doesn't come from the attached mini-mart and the wifi was not any better this visit. But you're within a 10 minute walk of the convention center and the main entrances to Disneyland/California […] Adventure. The staff has always been friendly and check-in/out is never a pain. Two things I would have liked to have changed on our last visit -- we were shorted towels one night (they cleared away the dirty ones, but only left us with two large ones for 4 adults) and it would have been nice to have an extra blanket in the closet since the ones on the bed are a bit thin. We'll keep Castle Inn on our short list for future trips! Lisez la suite
"Castle Inn and Suites"
We arrived at 2 in the morning. Even at that late hour, the staff was very courteous and quick to get us extra pillows. The hotel is certainly not luxury, but it is comfortable. The hot tub was refreshing, and it is just a short walk to Disneyland.
