Très bon hôtel, très bon accueil, propre, petit déjeuner correct et vue sur la mer. Seul bémol: petit parking et les escaliers pour arriver à l'hôtel.

On devait faire une escale sur la route de Firenze et par hasard j ai choisi cet Hotel. Alors je vous le dis tout de go ce n est pas le grand luxe mais la vue depuis la chambre est magistrale et surtout la gentillesse et la disponibilité de nos hôtes, la qualité et l abondance du repas! Merci pour ce moment les vacances commençait bien !

Situation
A Gênes, cet hôtel qui porte le nom de Bristol Palace Hotel est très pratique pour les familles et se trouve tout près des sites suivants : Piazza de Ferrari, Aquarium de Gênes et Parco dell'Acquasola. Les sites Parco della Villetta Di Negro et Teatro Carlo Felice se trouvent également à proximité.
Caractéristiques de l'établissement

tres bon hotel situé en centre ville sur une belle avenue shopping facile musées à proximité et très pres de l opéra Carlo Felice.

"Nul et super nul"
Tache de fuite d'eau séchée sur le plafond, odeur de cigarettes dans la salle de bain, bruit de pas chez le voisin...bref on est vite parti, le petit déj à l image de cette hôtel...vieux et rococo...le parking chére...bref ....nul!! ha pardon ...les 2 filles à accueil sympa.

Je ne sais pas vraiment qui donne les étoiles ... Mais une chose est sur, il y a en a de trop. Pas de personnel qui parle francais, la poussière n'était pas faite sur les meubles. La Tv des années 30. Un parking voiture mais pas de place de disponible, donc il faut aller trouver un parking payant pour la nuit. jamais je ne retournerai dans cet hotel. Une seule serviette pour 2. Un tele des années 80. Bruillant même sur le cote dans une petite rue.
"Hôtel Bristol à Gênes = déception"
Accueil plus que froid, chambre très ordinaire avec une grosse tâche sur le mur et très mal chauffée. TV d'un autre siècle. Internet à un prix prohibitif. Au départ nous avons dû attendre 15' avant que notre voiture revienne du parking de l'hôtel. Seul point positif : le petit déjeuner.

"Hotel bien situé, belles prestations"
Je n'ai pas eu la chambre avec un lit double comme nous le desirions avec ma femme mais sinon mais sinon l'hotel est tres beau et exceptionnellement bien situé, pres du centre historique. Petit dejeuner buffet somptueux, personnel agreable, ca a compensé

"Beautiful hotel"
The hotel lobby is absolutely stunning! It was easy to find. We had a car, and was thrilled that the hotel parked the car for us in an off site lot. It saved us the inconvenience and stress of driving around and finding the lot ourselves. When we needed the car to take a day trip they only required a 15 minute notice and had the car waiting for us out […] front. This was much appreciated! The hotel was convenient to old town and the aquarium-which should not be missed. Breakfast was a generous spread with lots of choices. "My Favorite Hotel close to everything"
This beautiful hotel is located in the heart of the city. The rooms are big and comfortable. The price is excellent and right next to all the shopping. The breakfast was perfect way to start your day in Italy. I would go back to this hotel every time I stayed in Genova!

"No Internet connection"
If you need an Internet connection, the Bristol may not be for you. According to other guests, the Internet was unreliable. It never worked for me and when I tried to talk to the hotel about it, the staff were difficult. The assistant manager would not let me finish a sentence and was very rude. A smile or "I am sorry for the inconvenience" would have […] gone a long way, but I had neither at the Bristol. Perfect location. Close to tourist sites, metro, shopping area and restaurants. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend it to my friends.

"Ornate hotel close to the center of town"
The rooms are very spacious and quiet. The decor is probably from the early 20th century but well maintained. The bathroom was huge and well equipped. We had a room with four separate twin beds and still had plenty of room to move around. They offer an elaborate breakfast until 10:30 am and this is particularly convenient. The staff are very courteous […] and helpful. It is very close to the Metro station at De Ferrari and 10 min from Genoa Brignole. The shopping areas are also very close. Very convenient location. "Very nice place to stay!"
This hotel is very beautiful. Yes, it is older as some have mentioned, but it is a great value. It is one of the nicer hotels I have stayed in in Italy. The staff was very friendly helping my friend with some minor first aid issues. It is in a nice location, very close to the beautiful fountain. About a 10 minute taxi ride from the train station.
Great Hotel, good location, comfortable rooms, need to do some work on the plumbing (radiator leak) and on occasions the breakfast buffet ran out of things. I'd come back

"Faded glory, second class service"
The Bristol must have been a stunning hotel in its heyday. It is tucked in among retail space in the architecturally stunning arcade that runs along Via XX Settembre. Even the terrazzo sidewalks outside are lovely. Inside is a high-ceiling lobby and a beautiful oval spiral staircase with marble steps that curves up six flights to a stained-glass skylight. […] The service, however, was dismal. No one offered to help with our luggage when we arrived late in the evening. One staff member, noting the struggles of my petite female travel companion with her heavy bag, asked if she needed help, and then obliged by pointing the direction of her room and walking away! Telephone service using the room phone for local calls was generally unsuccessful, and don't expect the staff to help you make any calls or reservations. My room was nicely proportioned with a high celing and tall windows, and the bathroom was recently renovated, but the decor was a drab mishmash of a cheap-looking bedspread and upholstered headboard, cheap-looking light fixtures, some nice throw rugs from Azerbyghan and a serviceable Deco-style wardrobe, presumably from better days. "Worst 4 Star Hotel in Genova"
To preface this, I travel quite a bit for both business and pleasure. This hotel is situated on the main drag of Genova and is extremely noisy. The hotel management is oblivious to complaints and has an attitude that guests should be honored to stay at the "palace". As an example, one morning the water from the bathroom sink began to foam. When I called […] to complain they said "there is a slight problem with the water filtration system". When I asked if it was drinkable the response was "I think so". How long was this to last? "I don't know". This was typical of the attitude I encountered at the "Palace". This may have been a good hotel in earlier years but is obviously living on its old reputation. "Lovely traditional hotel"
Rooms are large and quiet in spite of being in the middle of town.Front desk personnel efficient but not that friendly, but then, we did not have much contact with any of them Found prices at the bar very high.

Hotel has no non-smoking rooms,. First reeked of cigar with burn holes in the bedpost, but reception was kind and understanding to give me a new one. Decor is semi-clean, old world classic, but run down. Breakfast is excellent. Location is excellent for walking into old town centre.

Despite the fact that there was an option for non-smoking rooms, the manager said that there was no difference between smoking/non-smoking room. Therefore we had to sleep in a smoking room, with a bad odour. Moreover we booked a double bed and we got 2 twins! At night we asked for two extra pillows and the manager said, after 3 hours, that there were […] no pillows left in the hotel!!! The staff did not care about our problems!! "Das Hotel liegt in zentraler Lage"
Nachteilig für Gäste mit Autoanreise: grosse Schwierigkeit, einen Parkplatz zu finden. Die Preise an der Hotelbar sind gewöhnungsbedürftig.
"Problema con la dirección del Hotel"
El hotel es bueno y muy confortable, está hubicado en pleno centro de Génova. El problema es el número de la avenida, es el 35, pero es un número mentiroso, dado que se encuentra entre los números 190 y 210 de la misma avenida. Perdimos mucho tiempo buscando ese absurdo número. Mi esposa y yo salimos del hotel tipo 5 de la madrugada para el aeropuerto, […] ningún servicio fue ofrecido, dado que no estaríamos para el desayuno. Lo otro, nada contra el Hotel, es su entorno, solo tiendas de ropa, muy elegantes, pero no encontramos resturantes buenos, la mayoría solo bares de cervezas, pizzas, cafés y helados. Cenamos en uno, se veía bueno, pero fué una decepción, caro y rmediocre, cobraron 5 euros solo por sentarse, un absurdo. Mejor es Florencia, lejos una ciudad llena de todo, la recomendamos. "Ottima posizione ma..."
L'hotel è in un'ottima posizione che permette di raggiungere agevolmente qualsiasi punto di Genova. Il personale è molto disponibile, la colazione abbondante e varia ma l'arredamento delle camere è veramente vecchio. Il bagno invece è nuovo, molto ampio e funzionale.
Hotellin paikka on oivallinen Genovaan tutustuvalle. Aamiainen yllättävän hyvä.

Tuttavia la camera a noi riservata era molto più piccola delle altre; sarebbe assai spiacevole che questo fosse dovuto all'offerta del sito hotel.com di cui abbiamo usufruito...

"Hotel Bristol Palace, Correcto para el precio"
Reservamos este hotel para pasar la noche de ida hacia Elba. El precio fue correcto y nos pusieron a los 5 en una habitación. Dos camas eran tipo supletorias, otra individual y la de matrimonio. El baño grande, y limpio. Lo que no me gustó fue que a la noche las grandes ventanas no se pueden tapar mas que con cortinas, opacas, pero como no estaban en […] perfectas condiciones, alguna de ella no se podía correr, por lo que entraba luz a la habitación (y eso, para dormir, me sienta fatal). El desayuno, correcto, sin más. El café estaba templado, tirando a frío y el buffet es el típico, no hay de todo, pero hay donde elegir. Como nota curiosa, en el buffet había una botella de champán… vacía, supongo que se la beberían los japoneses que vimos salir de la sala, jeje. El parking se paga aparte (21 euros la noche) y la cama supletoria 25e. Lo mejor, la situación del hotel, céntrico Lisez la suite

Sentralt beliggende hotell midt i den største handlegaten i Genova. Gåavstand til havneområdet og flere severdigheter. Topp frokostbuffet, god service og imøtekommende personal.

Hotellet ligger i mitten av centrum med ca 7 min promenadavstånd till hamnen där det finns restauranger och pubar. Hotellet har en underbar gammal charm med stukaturer, målningar och ljuskronor överallt. På frukosten finns även en uteservering där rökning är tillåten om man vill. Frukosten var mycket bra och allt fanns. Personalen är mycket serviceinriktad […] och maten och desserterna (glassen) på hotellet var toppen. Den berömda trappan inne på hotellet är verkligen så vacker som den ser ut att vara på bilden, den är mycket "häftig" och annorlunda. Jag rekommenderar verkligen detta hotell. Lisez la suite
