parfait sur tout point de vue

Overall, the hotel was great. Our only problem was with the attitude of the person who checked us in. She was rude and seemed very bothered. Other than that, the rooms were great.

After reading many reviews I decided to stay at Hampton Inn while traveling alone to a conference for two nights. I made a great choice. The Hampton Inn was a few minutes from the conference (which rooms did not get a great review) and altho a few dollars more, was clean and everything you could ask for to be comfortable. The location was also good […] as it was quiet being off the busy local route where most of the hotels were located. Staff was pleasant, bed was one of the best I have stayed in a hotel that wasn't 4 or 5 star, and the breakfast was good and convenient. I had read all these good reviews and was disappointed. I paid full price and that was a mistake. it was ok but nothing special. The heater was so noisy we shut it off and then woke up freezing in the morning. The breakfast everyone raves about was nothing special. You could stay somewhere a lot cheaper and spend the money on a made to order breakfast. […] When we checked in we were told there might be cookies in the breakfast area, but none left. I needed to find a clean, safe location to stay after driving 11 hours as my husband needed to be hospitalized while away on business. I drove around the area of the hospital and didn't feel very safe at a couple close locations. Therefore, I programmed my GPS to find the closest Hampton Inn. I am very glad I stayed here. The location was an easy 6 […] miles to the hospital. I felt safe, which was a concern my husband didn't need to worry about while he was in the hospital. We have stayed here a few times and have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and the staff is helpful.

The Hampton Lancaster is a great hotel which I would highly recommend. Breakfast not all that great, but free. I am very picky about smoking. We were put in a non smoking room , with non smoking rooms all around us, however a neighbor was smoking. Very disappointing and ruined my stay. I brought it to managements attention, but they never let me know […] if they had taken care of it. I was happy we were only staying one night. My only complaint, everything else was great. This was a wonderful hotel. It was comfortable and very clean. The staff was wonderful. They were friendly and very helpful to my Mom and myself. The breakfast was very very good. Great room, accomodating staff; however soccer tournament was scheduled the weekend we were there. Kids are kids, but no excuse for no adult supervision. Should have been some type of security to keep the young ones from carrying on in the halls, since the parents didn't. Overall, enjoyed staying there.

What an enjoyable experience! The price of the room was good. Loved the breakfast buffet, enough room for everyone to sit and good choice of food. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful! We had 4 rooms and met family from different locations for a weekend family visit and to tour Lancaster. The hotel was really very nice. The breakfast was fresh, hot, and plenty of choices, the room was clean, and the staff was super nice. The layout of the lobby and common areas felt like home. The couch, breakfast bar, and large flat screen met my […] families needs and we hung out there more than anywhere else. I would highly recommend this property and we will be going back. Recently went on vacation to Lancaster and stayed at this lovely hotel. Our room was very comfortable and clean. the staff and the hotel were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and there was always room to sit down each morning and eat. We had a wonderful three day stay.

The hotel was clean, and the room (with a King-size bed and sleeper sofa) was comfortable. The staff was friendly. The pool was well maintained. The breakfast was generous and included delicious Belgian waffles, among other items. When they ran out of something, even if it was close to the end of breakfast, they replaced the items whenever asked. I'm […] sorry to say that one of the kids accidentally wet the bed, but the hotel handled exactly as I would have hoped they would. After reporting it, when we came back from breakfast the entire King mattress had been taken away. When it was replaced, it was dry with no detectable odor, so they must have treated it properly. The hotel is convenient to many Lancaster attractions and altogether made a great base for our vacation. My only complaint is that the mattress was a bit soft for me, but I have a back back and like a very firm mattress. Lisez la suite

The hotel was beautiful and the staff we very helpful!! Great place and Id recommend it to friends and family!!!

Being on the first floor and with access to pool area from the room was a great plus! Breakfast was hearty and and flavorful, desk personnel was caring and accommodating. Price was a little high being the peak of the summer season, but the hotel's location made up for it. Don't miss downtown Lancaster! What a finding that was! We had booked a room based on the hotel's web site which stated that we could have a roll away bed added to the room. When we checked in, we were told the the roll away bed would not fir in the room. No rooms were available to upgrade and my three kids had to cram into a single queen size bed. We were two families traveling together. I had requested rooms next to each other and they delivered! We had adjoining rooms - with an attached door. The staff was so nice; our kids filled out the “Catch a Star” cards for the people at the front desk. The staff had a variety of games for the kids to play. Breakfasts were tasty and they were different […] each day. When we came back to the hotel at night we enjoyed tea, cookies and fruit provided by the hotel. On the weekdays we were thrilled that the hotel provided wonderful home made soup! The cleanliness and condition was much better then i expected. The front desk was very nice. I will come back again next year, when I am going to Dutch Wonderland again.

Other than the walls being a little thin when the a/c fan and tv are off, it was a lovely stay. The hotel isn't new, but is well kept and has been updated nicely. The pool area and common lobby area is very nice. The location is convenient and easy to get to. There are nice restaurants next door (I recommend Isaac's). My only complaint to management was the seating area in the dining room. The tables were too close together, making it necessary to squeeze through, bumping into other patrons. Other than that, I would highly recommend this hotel.

First time back to Lancaster in 20 years and the hotel made it a very pleasurable visit. Well done!

This hotel has amenities expected at much pricier hotels, but for a very reasonable price. It's clean, comfortable, quiet, and the extra touches make it highly recommended.

Very convenient to the area attractions and the staff is extremely attentive and helpful. The rooms are adequate and well equipped. We would expect they are due updating in the near future, but were cleaned well.

Absolutely recommend this hotel for cleaniness, staff and food.

HAD GOOD EXPERIENCE STAYING AT HAMPTON INN .SO GLAD IT WAS CLEAN AND THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY NICE.THE BREAKFAST THEY SERVED WAS GREAT I AM NOT A BIG BREAKFAST EATER BUT THEY DID HAVE SAUSAGE AND POTATOES WITH EGGS.I WOULD DEFINTLY STAY HERE AGAIN.

The service was as expected, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The hotel is close to everything in Lancaster from a tourist's point of view even though that is not why I was there. But it is right off Route 30 and close to the outlets.

Location was great for outlet shopping and surrounding Amish communities. Staff was friendly and rooms were cleaned. The hot breakfast was great: waffles, bagel bites, potatoes, bagels, hot & cold cereal, beverages and fruit. I would stay here again.

Our rooms were clean, the eds were comfortable, the breakfast was good, there were varieties offered everyday. The pool was clean, in and around the area. The pool man checked the pool 3 times everyday. The front desk were friendly and helpful about area info. We have stayed at other hotels - this by far was our favorite so far and we wil stay here […] again, It was convienent to area attractions. It was in a safe area. We really enjoyed our stay! Our stay at the Hampton Inn in Lancaster was very nice. The hotel's location affords easy access to Hershey Park, Amish Country, and Harrisburg to name a few. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool and the rooms are large, bright and very clean. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Dit hotel was onze schuilplaats voor hurricane Irene. Hotet hotel is pas gerenoveerd en ziet er prachtig verzorgd uit. Het personeel is werkelijk extreem vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze kamer op de begane grond had ook een deur aan de achterkant direct aan het zwembad. Echt een aanrader!
