The hotel is very good in my opinion, but I was a bit dissapointed as it is not in the city! (it is located near the airport and the beach).
"quieter end of the promenade"
Excellent hotel, the only slight drawback was the distance from the city centre. Before going we were aware shuttle bus available but this was not advertised and service seemed limited. Remember to fix taxi prices before the journey as there are some drivers ready to take advantage of tourists! Overall a great hotel and the sea view room was worth the […] extra money. was Lisez la suite
"Nice hotel near the beach"
Very nice and clean hotel. Large rooms with lovely seaview.
"Radisson Blu - Nice"
Staff were helpful, facilities were lovely - but a shame you have to pay extra to use sunbeds by pool or beach! Our favourite experience was the bike ride (the hotel hires out the bikes) since you can cycle along the sea front for miles. Location is quiet and you do bneed the hotel shuttle bus to get to / from town unless you fancy a 40minute walk.

"Radisson Blu or Radisson Blues"
We stayed in 5 different hotels during our 14 day visit to France and Spain this August. The Radisson Blu in Nice, France was "gross". The odor was unpleasant; like sewer in the hallways; the mold, the lifting tile in the bathroom floors, but all the hotels were sold out and we had to stay here. Would I do it again; NO way. Would I recommend the property […] to others, No way. The staff was rude; when I asked the Concierge was the restaurant offered for dinner; he replied "FOOD" and then turned away. I typically stay 30 to 40 nights a year in hotels. This one was by far the worst; this is my first time writing a review; imagine my upset. Lisez la suite
"Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice -"
Great Hotel, clean and comfortable with helpful staff. However, position is a little far out of the City centre to be ideally situated. The free Hotel shuttle is useful and there are local buses which can be used for the Station, Old Port and the Airport with stops just at the rear of the Hotel. I would advise caution when using Taxis - a short ride […] from the airport when we arrived cost 22 Euro - bearing in mind that you can virtually see the end of the runway from the Hotel, I thought that this was extortionate! "Radisson Blu Hotel Nice: Bad service but nice view"
The hotel advertise they have a Beach Club available for the guests. Unfortunately that is not completely correct since they also sell the Beach Club to private parties so it was closed a full day for the paying guests in the hotel during our short stay. The Swimming pool was also closed two days. No proper explanation and compensation for the reduced […] service. Shortest way of describing the hotel is bad service but the hotel have a very nice view of Nice and surroundings from the roof terrace. Lisez la suite
"Radisson Blu Nice: Bad service"
Beach Club closed one full day without any information to the guests. The pool closed two days. Basically the services which the hotel is offering on their website is not available as promised. The hotel is selling the Beach Club to private parties so they earn the money twice: from the guests who is promised the availablitiy to the Beach Club and from […] private parties. We have stayed at Radisson Blu Nice the last 3 years mainly because of the beach club, but will not come back. The staff in the Beach Club and reception was not able to give a proper answer on our complain and didn't understand that for us the beach club was the main reason we have chosen their hotel. The breakfast is badly organized but the student waiter, Nils, was doing a good job and provided a good service (actually better than the regular staff) which made up for the bad organization. The headwaiter on the roof top restaurant gave the guests a good service as well. Lisez la suite

"Radisson Blu Hotel, Nice"
Lovely hotel, right across from the Med, however the ocean seemed very unsafe, strong currents and waves plus very rocky beach. Only saw 2 people using the ocean during my four night say! Also, if you wished to used the facilities of the hotel swimming pool, add another €18 a day to your trip to utilise the sunbeds with cushions! The hotel was a €18 […] taxi ride to the real city centre! Lisez la suite
"RADISSON NICE"
Lovely hotel, attentive staff, location a little bit too far from the centre, the shuttle bus only ran for a few hours each day, but the walk back from the centre was nice during the day, not too nice in the evening, so a taxi in the evening is a must really. Breakfast was excellent, standard of the rooms was good, balcony was noisy as the road was […] ver busy. Overall the stay was fine, although the hotel did fail in providing facilities for evening meals on occasions. Lisez la suite
We were very impressed with the staff members at this hotel. They went above and beyond to ensure that we were pleased with our accommodations. The concierge was very informative and helpful and we relied heavily on his advise and were never disappointed. It is a beautiful and well maintaned hotel. Our only complaint was that it is bit away from the […] main shops and retaurants in Old Nice but the trade off was right across the street from the beach. We would definitely stay again given the opportunity to return to Nice. Lisez la suite
Good hotel Friendly staff Clean rooms Didnt like the fact had to pay for sunbeds
"Radisson Blu-Beautiful view but eat somewhere else"
My husband and I were on a business trip in France and decided to add a long weekend in Nice so I booked this hotel because the info from Hotels.com made it look great. I also trusted Radisson as a hotel chain that I am familiar with in the U.S.A. What a pleasant surprise! I requested a deluxe seaview room and I was not disappointed. The view was spectacular. […] The room was very modern and very clean. The private beach was awesome. On the down side, the Promenade de Anglais is a very busy, noisy street. While I would have loved to sleep with the windows open, we could not because it was too noisy. The restaurant was also a disappointment as we had driven all day long and arrived at 7:30 pm hungry. We went to the rooftop restaurant and had only 3 choices of entree, none of which interested me (kangaroo meat?). I would recommend the hotel, spend time at the private beach and eat somewhere else. "Radisson Blu - Nice"
I regularly stay at the Radisson Blu Nice ( when the price is right ) and always get what I expect -- good service and a great hotel, with the best view in town from the roof terrace. A quality product whose location stimulates a good walk home from town each night!
"Radisson Blu in Nice-Fantastic holiday base."
Had a wonderful stay for 5 nights-the pool on the top floor is great! A lovely way to sun and swim (in admittedly cool water!-but much warmer than the sea in April). The beach and promenade on one side, hills to the other were stunning. This is an ideal base for good city transport to city centre, museums, tours, shopping, and great city parks. Can't […] wait to return. Highly recommended--all except the restaurant, which was too expensive for the cuisine that wasn't as good as many far less expensive places all over town. Lisez la suite
Excellent!
"4/5 - Nice Hotel in Nice."
Very nice rooms and in a pretty good position. The shuttle service was great however often not running on time. The pool was very nice but ridiculous that you have to pay 18 Euro for a sun bed when you have already paid quite a large amount to stay at the hotel. Overall a pretty good hotel in a good position straight across from the beach.
"Radisson Blu Hotel Nice - nice hotel, bad location"
The hotel, the facilities and the service was very good. Having a meal and/or a drink in the hotel is expensive. The rooftop pool area is very well fitted out with nice sunbeds, cushions and towels. These are unfortunately not free, but very expensive to hire, either for a half day or a full day. There is a courtesy bus which runs every hour from 10am […] until 7pm to take you to the town centre which is approx 3 kms away. The last bus back to the hotel is at 7:15pm. The local buses seem to stop at about the same time, which means either a 40 minute walk or a taxi which is expensive. There is a bus stop on both sides of the road outside the hotel. You can go either direction up or down the coast to Cannes or Monaco or direct to the airport very cheaply. About 100ms from the hotel prostitutes hang around in the evenings. Lisez la suite

"Needs improvement"
1. Concierge was somewhat disinterested; especially in one's complaints. 2. Internet access was less than adequate and should not have had to be paid for. 3. The room smelled foul due to plumbing/drainage not cleaned; as confirmed by their Housekeeping Dept. It should be cleaned weekly in tropical or semitropical climates.
"Good for airport"
Nice hotel, clean and convenient to airport. Only restaurant was in lobby. small and very expensive. Concierge not helpful for nearby restaurant recommendations, but door man was! Le Mistral Bistro was terrific!
"Very good choice!"
Great location providing the comfort, cleanliness and amenities well within American standards of hotel hospitality. Brakfast buffet was quite delicious with a wonderful selection. In addition, staff were very curteous and efficient. Keep up the good work!
"In the process of planning next trip"
An excellent short break. The only problem we encountered is that we were not there long enough. Hotel staff very polite and helpful, rooms excellent . Rooftop pool and restaurant amazing views.
"Lovely hotel but a bit of a walk into town"
The Radisson is a lovely hotel, great room and service. Beware of the guide map as it is a good walk into the main part of town/old town. Generally pricy all round €18 for the 'exclusive' sun lounger at the pool on the roof which I thought should have been included. Nice beach area directly across from the hotel. Room service breakfast was really […] good. Lisez la suite
"Not what other reveiwers described"
After reading several reveiws on this hotel I was ready to cancel my booking, but I am glad I did not. If you require your hotel to be somewhere to sleep, rather than somewhere to live then this hotel is fine - albeit expensive as would be expected in Nice. The hotel is a brisk walk from the old town, but there are numerous public buses every hour […] from the street behind the hotel (1 Euro) and it takes about 10 minutes. Getting back at night after the public buses stop at about 9.30 pm requires the use of your legs. Did not use the expensive hotel pool. About 30 metres from the front door is a free 'pool' called the Mediteranean Sea and the beach there is free. There are numerous small shops and supermarkets very close by the hotel to avoid using the hotel breakfast and bars. If the hotels today gouge you on their internal prices then don't use the restaurants and bars. Lisez la suite

"Two nights in Nice"
I stayed at the Radisson for two nights only, but with a general good impression of the place, the staff and the cleanliness of the room and the hotel itself. I especially liked the rooftop where from there is a great view over Nice (especially night view) and I can warmly recommend the Mojito's :)

"Great Rooftop Bar"
Good Hotel, maybe just a little too far out of the main town for the vacationer but suited us perfectly as we were attending the U2 concert in Nice. Everyone was friendly and attentive and the rooms were fine
"On European tour best of the whole three weeks"
This was the best hotel we stopped in over three weeks. The location was excellent, ideal for just strolling on the promenade or catching a bus into the old town of Nice. The restuarant was realy good as was the local dinning.
"Nice: 4th of July 2009"
Everything about the hotel was great - the service, rooms, incredible balcony view of the mediterranean, and the food. Be careful, however: we had a club sandwich, a piece of grilled salmon, and 2 drinks for 73 euros! (about $110). Everything is extremely expensive there; the best thing to do is to buy your own beer/wine, and use their food and drinks […] sparingly. Also, topless women at the 7th floor pool/bar terrace, haha. "Disappointed with Pool situation!!!!"
Hotel was fine -at least 30 min walk to centre - which we knew about b4 booking. Choose this hotel and paid more for it because it had a roof pool . Never used the pool as there was an €18 charge per day for use of sun lounger - I was not a bit impressed and refused to be ripped off. So with disgust over pool and €15 - €20 taxi fare every nite plus […] €22 for b/fast- we will not be returning to this hotel. It's a rip off! Lisez la suite
"Amazing Hotel"
This hotel is beautiful and our room had a balcony overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. It is very convenient to the airport (Just a few blocks away) and conveniently located between Monaco and Cannes. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I recommend it highly.
