Très agréable, calme, wifi dans la chambre, éclairage,chauffage et sanitaires sophistiqués mais de ce fait pas évident à utiliser. Idéal pour un court séjour.

Nous avons été tout à fait satisfaits de l’hôtel the cromwell. Très bon accueil, literie et chambre en général très propres. L'hôtel est très bien situé, à proximité directe d'une station de métro, d'un starbuck, burger king et même d'une supérette... dans un quartier très agréable. Allez y sans hésiter !

les chambres sur rue sont un peu bruyante, surtout le matin, au moment de la reprise du trafic. Dans le quartier, nombreux restaurants et fast food, donc très pratique pour le dîner.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits (vendredi 12 et samedi13 mai 2011). Accueil correct et courtoie (mais tout en anglais bien sur). Nous avions 1h d'avance et ils ont fait en sorte que la chambre soit prête 10mn après. Confort et proprété vraiment nikel, rien à redire. Tous type de restos et un supermarché à quelques mètres. La situation est plus que top, le […] métro est à 2mn à peine. Nous nous sommes rendus dans le centre à pied (prévoir 1h de marche mais à travers les parcs). Chambre au sous sol avec fenetre masquee par un mur. Bruit sourd en pleine nuit (qui reveille) un des membres du personnel tres desagreable. Le reste etait bien (assez neuf, bien situe...). Donc a eviter si on a une chambre au sous-sol, sinon ok.

The Best Western Cromwell was clean, quiet, comfortable, and very convenient. I have stayed in Knightsbridge a few times & this is my favorite hotel. Great location, clean room.... I have stayed in a lot of hotels in Europe, and this hotel room was SMALL even by European standards. The room was freezing cold when we arrived and didn't actually feel warm until the next morning even though the heater ran all night. We stayed two nights, and we asked for more towels on the second day and were met with […] reluctance, but other than that the staff was very helpful. I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The standard room are v small and there are no baths (I requested one but I think there are v few rooms with baths and this makes sense because of the tiny bathrooms). On this occassion my room was very cold, the heating did not work and even with an extra blanket on the bed I was chilly through the night. The hotel is ideally situated very near a tube station with all the local amenities you could wish for. The hotel room was clean, tidy and very well presented, a pleasure in all respects.

Generally very good hotel, great location. Only disappointment was the advertised Wifi capability in the rooms. I was on the top floor and the signal was so bad could not make a connection. Only place for a really good connection was downstairs in the bar.

The staff greeted us as we arrived. We came early to drop off our luggage to begin our museum tours. The staff checked to see if a room was already available. We were able to check in extremely early. We were excited to already have a room available! The room was very nice, clean, and affordable. The room was very spacious. We have a four year old, […] and the staff prepared his pull-out bed. He also provided additional towels. We love this hotel! We enjoyed our stay at this location. Right next to Gloucester tube station made getting around very convenient! Wifi was weak in the room so required a cable (provided by the front desk). Room service made the bed and changed towels only, which was fine. Really all you need but was frustrating to not get fresh mugs each day. Friendly staff, would stay again!

Fairly shocked to find I'd been assigned a basement room, but kept an open mind. The room never got warm, as there was a continuous damp draft, the carpet had large bumps underneath, which you trip over when walking on the floor, and several light bulbs were burned out. Great location, price, and friendly staff. They held our luggage so we could leave for Winter Wonderland, and return to our booked room later. I have been to London many times and this was by far THE WORST experience ever. I was initially shown to a room with hair on the sheets, dried blood on a bathroom towel, fingerprints everywhere, and dirty walls. When I complained, I was shown to a new room with little apology; the staff seemed to think I was just being picky. Upon returning the next […] evening, when the outside air was -1 Celsius, I entered my room to find it at 8 degrees! When I reported the problem, I was asked if while I was away, I had left my extra room key in the slot just inside the door. I had not. I was told that someone should have informed me when I checked in to do so in order to have constant heat. When I pointed out that a system which requires a room key for lights (and in this case ALSO heat) in intended to conserve energy, and like most hotels guests take their key with them. I was met with a blank stare. So, at 2:00am, with no maintenance staff on call, I had to wait almost an hour to get the heat back on -- which is why they leave it on all the time. I asked the desk for a an herbal tea to warm me up; I was brought an unwrapped teabag in a bare hand and told to heat some water in my room. This hotel is poorly managed and, as an American, I assure you that it does NOT live up to the standard this U.S. franchise is known for.
