"Major building works underway"
The hotel had the smallest room and hardest bed I have ever experienced outside of a youth hostel. The floors below were being renovated and the noise inside and outside the building was unbearable. All the staff could do was apologise and offer me a different floor at a premium rate. If you are planning to stay in HK avoid this place as there are plenty […] of better options at the same price. Lisez la suite
Great location. There was no view form my room. Room was extremly small. Staff was friendly. Abit confused with the after hours lobby area. Love the smell of the lobby area.
"Excellent Location, Awful Customer Service"
Picked RP based on price & reviews. It is next door to Harbor Mall which is just magnificent! Lots of great shops. Sasa &Watsons everywhere. Easy walk to the ferry as well as to the MTR. Take the train from the Kowloon MTR station to the airport. If you are traveling Cathay Pacific or United you can check in at the MTR & they will take your bags. Cheap […] and fast. Easy hotel check in. Room was the very small. The room was OLD. The hotel is under renovation, but the 21st floor of the main tower hasn't seen an update. Mold in the bathroom and bedroom. Bathroom had a tub/shower with a dirty shower curtain, dirty tile, a toilet that sometimes flushed and a leaky faucet. Decent bathroom amenities. Beds were comfortable. There was complimentary bottled water. Fridge didn't work. Lackadaisical housekeeping One day it wasn't made up at all because I mistakenly left the Do Not Disturb Sign on the door. They did call the room & leave a note. Had the room been the scene of a crime I fear the dead bodies would still be there. We paid cash for the shuttle service from the hotel back to the airport. We had been dropped off at the LG level by the airport shuttle on arrival & the concierge did not tell us the shuttle woud pick us up at the lobby level, we went down to LG for departure. A security guard, apparently not employed by the hotel, yelled at us to get on a bus that had arrived. It did say AIRPORT. That is how we discovered MTR transportation to the airport . Lisez la suite
"nice hotel shame about the noise"
i regularily stay in this hotel as it is reasonably priced the location is very convenient. However on this occasion there was renovation work being carried out on floors 15 to 17 at the hotel. I was offered the option to move above the 17th floor for an extra charge and i accepted this. But I was badly mistaken that this move would isolate me from the […] noise, the drilling was so bad that i thought the work was going on next door!!! So no lie-in on Sat or Sun as it was just impossible once the dreaded drilling started. I think hotels undergoing renovation should have more consideration for their guests, and charge LESS not MORE for an upgrade which did not work anyway. I will stay here again as my previous experiences were good, but prospective guests should be warned in advance on the websites that they will be inconvenienced. Lisez la suite
"Check in-out"
Service for check in / out is too slow.
"Great location but the room is too small"
The room is too small and the cleanliness is too standard, the bed is standard too, the pillow is average
"Royal Pacific Hotel & Tower - SUCKS!"
- No shelter/cover area when we got off the taxi. It was raining, the luggage and us got wet immediately. - No one offer to carry my luggage bag. - Too confusing for the taxi driver to drop us off when there are 2 entrances and 2 receptions. - The entrance carpet is too small. When it is raining, the lobby is very slippery. - Shortage of well trained […] staff. Waiting for the room takes too long, not to mention the rude beyond believe attitude staff. - No indication where to queue up. - No one tell us or other guests which tower is the room located. I notice that more than twice, other guests went to the wrong tower. - The check-in time (15:00) is later than any other hotel in the world. Even though, we got there after 17:00 but the room was not available. This rude receptionist just ask us to come back half an hour later. - No toilet in the lobby area. - The room smell even that was not the "smoking" allowed room. - The condition of the room was not clean and way too small (compare with the room of Park Lane hotel - a genuine 4stars hotel). The hotel is perfect location for Ferry and shopping just shame about harbour view being very limited - even though suppoosed to be main feature Shopping Tip: close to every expensive shop in town - very interesting window displays probably the best in the world
"Royal Paccific Hotel."
I found the hotel clean, room sizes were good compared to other Hong Kong Hotels and very central as there was shops on the ground and underground lavels. Even the breakfast was good. Will definately recommend and stay again.
"Royal Pacific Hotel Kowloon"
Very impersonal hotel. No facilities for recreation, no bar, no meals, but ok for 1 night or for the business traveller who has outside interests. Also very expensive for an upgrade. Compared to a similar hotel, the Panorama which is fairly close, this hotel does not make the grade.
"Reasonable price for the location"
It is a great location. Very close to the best shopping area in Kowloon. Great food around the hotel. Their own restaurant is a very good buffet. Only 15 minutes walk you can see the best Hong Kong view near the water.

"excellent HOTEL"
Although i stayed for one night my experience was very good and the hotel staff is very courteous. i will strongly recommend this hotel and the HOTELS.COM
"Functional, close to downtown"
This hotel is good if you want a place close to the downtown shopping area, it's also much less expensive than most in the area. But it's old, worn down, not particularly comfortable, and the beds are rock hard.

The carpets need changing especially on the hallway.Mattress was thin and hardThe rooms are small for a 4 star hotel. The lobby is not presentable.Bathrooms need renovation or atleast change of bathtub.Bedsheets are clean and were changed daily. There was no musty odor in the room.Hotel is in a good location. The reception staff need to smile or atleast […] a courtesy greeting Lisez la suite
"Convenient location"
The hotel is awesome. We arrived at around 11pm. They didn't have nonsmoking room at that time so they upgraded our room to ocean view suite. I will definitely go back.
"The Hotel in Hongkong, very convienient"
The hotel Staff where very welcoming friendly and efficient , the room was a little small but compact clean and equip with all the essentials. good value for money
Our cups, saucers, teaspoons were not kept clean. There are coffee stains on the saucers. I had to wash them before using. Pls tell ur cleaners to mind these utensils before leaving the room. But overall, the staff were very helpful, especially Narvin who made sure that we get the rooms we want.

"royal pacific hotel and tower"
it's a great hotel. Everything is much better than in us. one thing to improve, the fan is somehow noisy.

The hotel's location is good and their rooms are clean. However their bed mattress is too hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. We got a queen sized bed and we couldn't sleep well because the bed is just too hard to sleep on.
"My room at Royal pacific Honkong"
i stayed at room 1807 and the room was very small.i thought it would be bigger since it was a premier room.it also took long for us to get a room even after 2pm.the breakfast was very good though.i would still stay there though.
"Exellent location"
The hotel is in the best location can be. The terminal of the ferry is tow flors under the hotel lobby and the exits are directly to Canton road.
"Royal Pacific Hotel in Hong Kong"
Hotel room is small, but from what I understand is common for Hong Kong, unless you pay a higher rate. The room was find, but the bed was a platform type, a little low and very firm type mattress. Location is excellent from Macau ferry, convenient to shopping, restaurants and subway system, Star Ferry, and transportation to the Peak.. Consierge is very […] helpful and friendly. Transportation from hotel to airport, very reasonable fee, also offered free shuttle on the lower level to train transportation to airport. Lisez la suite
"Turn off the fan!"
My main complaint is that I could not control the fan, which strongly blew relatively cold air into the room at all times., and made a rather loud noise. I also could not see how to control the temperature. As a result sleeping was difficult. I had to use a blanket, even though the weather was fairly warm (near 20C in the daytime). By contrast, the […] next day I had a wonderfully quiet, fan-less, and warm night in a London hotel (where the temperature was only about 6C). And the room rate was only about half of the HK hotel's... Lisez la suite
Very convenient to take ferry between HK and Macau. Also, good location for shopping high end fashion wears. Good and typical HK eatery shops are not located within the hotel locality.

"New renovation comfortable. Location is convenient"
Tower rooms are newly renovated and are spacious by HK standard. The tower rooms are much larger than a standard room so go for a tower room if you can. Location is good for shops and restaurants. The mtr is a 10 minute walk across the park to take you to hong kong island. Great for family with small kids since it is a bridge crossing to walk to Kowloon […] Park with a great playground. This hotel is our favorite so far compared to bp international, novotel Nathan road, royal plaza mong kok, and Marco polo on canton road. Langham hotel in tsimshatsui is fantastic though. "Beauty"
Would recommend anyone staying for short period in Hong Kong, close to shopping, MTR, Courtsey bus to airport, Ocean centre, Harbour cntre.....
"royal pacific in TST"
The hotel is comfortable and in a good location in TST near to a great number of shops. If you are staying for more than a cpl of days, do not stay in the newly refurbished premier rooms as these are very small. We moved on the first day to a larger room in the main building by paying for an upgrade. There are better hotels in HK and personally I prefer […] to stay in the Central area. I probably will not stay here again because of the other better choices available. Lisez la suite
"Good location"
Close to ferry, bus, train, shops, park. Quiet. Small room with firm bed is typical for Hong Kong. Would stay here again.

"Loved this hotel!!"
After 5 weeks traveling around China and staying in 5 star hotels, we were pretty spoiled, but not jaded enough not to be blown away by the view of the Kowloon harbor from our room . The decor and efficiency of the staff were indeed 5 star and don't miss the weekend buffet.
"The Pacific hotel in Hong Kong"
Actually, this hotel has got two buildings like hotel and tower wings. SO, the hotel.com has got more details about this two wings.... If I know the room size in hotel woings was like that small and old, I might take the other option, tower side or other hotels..... Also, twin bed size was too small, narrow and hard........Of course, it's one of the […] cheapest options in HK, I don't want to stay in this hotel wing side any more... Lisez la suite
"Royal Pacific Hotel Hong Kong has great location"
Nice clean, well priced hotel. Convenient to all of Hong Kong's sight seeing, retail and business districts.
"Your Hotel"
Your Hotel was wonderful and fantastic to me.But I don't know why breakfast is not included in my room charges. So I have to pay for me.
"The Royal Pacific Hotel Kowloon Hong Kong"
When I found this hotel and saw the pictures.. I thought that I really had a good deal. When I arrived in the hotel, I thought I will be placed in the newly renovated wing of the hotel but unfortunately, I was check-in the old wing. I hate the comfort room because its so small... but the most disappointment that happened was, The table closet over flowed. […] YucK! When I flushed it, it did't go down instead it went up. I will never stay in that hotel ever again... Lisez la suite
"Hotel side -horrible/ Tower side - acceptable"
We chose to stay at this hotel because it was extremely convenient to the ferry terminal to Macao, the terminal was literally downstairs the hotel, you don't even have to walk outside. Since we stayed at this hotel before and after our Macao trip, it also provided convenient luggage storage and retrieval. When we stayed at the hotel the first time we […] were actually upgraded to the tower side. The room was huge and clean, however the furniture was out-dated ( a throw back to the '80s) and the bedding especially the pillow was lacking. Upon our return from Macao, we weren't upgraded and had to stay in the hotel side. The room (1207) was what you would expect from a typical HK hotel - it was small and cramped- had a hard time openning a 26" and 21" luggage. The bathroom was horrible, the ceiling had steel planks and were rusting. There was mold on the shower tiles, and don't even look under the sink! A chunk of the wall was missing and it was extremely dusty (clumps of gray dust). Good thing I did not end my HK vacation at this hotel. We stayed at a hotel that openned this year on the other side of Tsim Sha Tsui for roughly the same price. Lisez la suite
