Belle hôtel situé près d'une zone commerciale et surtout à environ 10minutes en voiture de l'immense centre commercial "WEST EDMONTON MALL", à ne pas rater. Le personnel est accueillant, quelques gestes "écolos" sont proposés (réutilisation serviettes de bain, changement des draps tous les 3 jours ...) et surtout deux grands parking gratuits. Attention réserver par hôtel.com ne comprend pas le petit déjeuner!
Situation
Au cœur de Edmonton, Days Inn - Edmonton se trouve tout près des sites suivants : Art Gallery of Alberta, University of Alberta et Commonwealth Stadium. Les sites Alberta Legislature Building et Centre-ville d'Edmonton se trouvent également à proximité.

This hotel was alright for a short stay. Everything is old and kind of run down, but it is conveniently located and the quality of service is good.
"oldie by a goodie"
The hotel is close to 50 years old but is well located. The staff are great and the beds are fabulous. The queen beds are the size of kings. I will be staying again. Having a restaurant attached is handy. Being downtown close to the ALRT line is another plus.
"Cheap overall"
What can I say, free parking, free wifi that sort of works and minimum but acceptable service, sound is horrible through walls and hall, nothing fancy. If you just need to spend the night somewhere and get a good deal you could do worse.

If you are looking for a hotel that is not a lot of money and a nice room then this is the place for you. We had a girls weekend away in Edmonton to shop and this worked out just great for us. The only thing that kind of bothered me was the smell of either natural gas or propane (not sure which one) when we walked into the reception area. "No fridge!"
I was shocked to see that there is no fridge in the room.I stay in hotels in Edmonton quite frequently and all the hotels have fridges in rooms.When I asked the reception I was told that they could put a fridge in the room for $10 a day.I Have a little kid who drinks milk and I need to keep it in the fridge.Also it was 4 of us booked the room for two […] days and there was only 2 towels in the bathroom.Next they I had to ask for extra towels.I am not going to stay here again and I do not recommend it... this was not the location we had asked for, we had requested a hotel close to the west Edmonton mall. the grand kids were very dissapointed.
The room was freezing. The heat did not work properly. The front desk said it's a new system and they are working out the bugs. Not a very enjoyable stay.

I went there with my kids and there was nothing to do.A long drive from the water park and if you want a fast breakfest before you leave you have to go a fast food place. Also this one does not have a pool. But they have a good room rate.

We stayed two nights at the Days Inn in Edmonton- I was disatisfief with the overall service. First the hotel doesn't have underground parking for its guests,they are all reserved, guests have to park outside. Secondly, elevator only works from the third floor, so you will have to drag your luggage up the stairs to the third floor. Thirdly, restaurant […] inside the hotel is useless as it's.only opened till 3pm. It would be nice to have a.restaurant that is opened for dinner, especially when its cold outside n you want to stay inside and have a nice warm meal. Lastly, hotel location can be very noisy-we were unable to have a restless sleep for the two nights be because of other guests who were causing a disturbance throughout the nights and because of noises from the.street-the hotel doesn't have good sound barrier so everything that is happening outside the hotel can be heard. aathe room is not even provided with microwave oven. Not even within the premises. You have to pay extras just to heat the coffee bought from Tim Hortons.You can find a more comfortable accomodation within Edmonton with the price rate charged. It was just our first time to go to Edmonton so we were not aware of the hotel condition. Thanks anyways.
"Decent Location, Good Price, not worth it."
Great location right off of Jasper avenue. The only problem with the location is parking. There's a VERY small parkade that has most of its stalls rented out so that you can't park there. The beds were in rough shape and very uncomfortable. The towels in the bathroom were of different kind and felt like you were drying yourself off with coarse sandpaper. […] The fan in the bathroom didn't work. Intermittent hot water. The View was spectacular from my room...a cement wall. You could hear EVERYTHING from any room around you. Conversations from people in the hall, the ice machine down the hall, footsteps...all very loud even when the people were being quiet!! If it weren't for my amazing girlfriend that was with me, I wouldn't have enjoyed my stay there. I would not recommend this place if you're looking for any kind of comfort...you would have better luck staying at a motel. It would be quieter and probably more comfortable. Ok, so I wasnt thinking about it being St Patricks Day when I booked a hotel room in Edmonton for my kids soccer tournament. Party animals in the next room kept going til 3 am even though security paid them a visit. In the room on the other side of me, I heard a thump and a child crying. Fell out of bed maybe?? The front desk lady with the reddish hair […] and accent did not seem to happy to be working. The adjacent Alberts restaurant served an awesome breakkie though, and the wait staff was very friendly. Ended up having 3 people in the room for which I was charged and additional 10.00 pr day. There were only 2 bath towels everyday for the duration and two cups of coffee. So what was the extra 10.00 for?
"Days Inn Downtown Edmonton-convenient"
The hotel is nothing special just a standard room with 2 queens, but it's not far from a train station to take you to Rexall Place. We stay here when we have hockey tickets because it's affordable and convenient. There's a few bars and restaurants walking distance to get something to eat before or a few drinks after the game

Pros - location for the reason I was there - cost - food from room service was good - parking included - noon check out time - the room was well lit - although the bed didn't look like it was going to be comfy it was alright and was clean Cons - shower could not keep a constant temperature and it fluctuated from very hot to very cold - the room had […] an odd odour by the bathroom sink, almost like some sort of ethnic food spice - elevator was wonky - would randomly take me to the 5th floor or take a very long time to arrive - although you couldn't tell by looking at the room door it needed to be forced to actually latch shut so there's a potential safety issue - the towels were quite rough - room service was only from 7am-3pm (but there are numerous places that are close) Lisez la suite

... even gave it a second chance in the same room. Same management, same issues as first visit... less customer service on second visit, and zero attempt at remedying blatant customer dissatisfaction.

This hotel was alright. Services were good, room was clean and it was right in the middle of downtown. Hallways were really outdated. The elevator was kind of sketchy. Smell of the building wasn't bad, it just smelled like a hotel room. Also there is no food in the hotel after 3 so you have to walk, or travel to get some food but because you are downtown […] you are close to quite a few places; including a Sobeys. "Dated Days Inn"
We found the room to be very clean but also very dated. Beds weren't very comfortable. Having a shower was horrible...it kept switching from hot to cold. Worst shower my husband or myself have ever had.

Hi, We had booked reservations for a 1 bed overnight for 2 adults, 2 days prior to Christmas since we were passing through to visit a relative. The hotel is conveniently located & the attached parkade accessible & free, a plus. Check-in was pleasant & professional. However, when we went to retrieve our luggage from our vehicle, already parked in the […] parkade, we found that the only elevator was out of order. One of us returned to the front desk to verify this - it must have just happened since they did not inform us on check-in. Upon lugging our luggage to the room, we found out that it was not clean, we had been given an un-cleaned room. We had asked for room quietly situated as well; however, there appeared to be noise on that floor nearby. Again a trip to the front desk. Apologies all around, they situation was quickly remedied. As well, the housekeeping attendant that had just come on shift offered to help us relocate our luggage to the new room. This was appreciated since my wife was not feeling well & we had plenty of luggage due to a wedding at our next stop. The next room was an upgrade, thanks to the kindness of the front desk & it was clean, with one King size bed, certainly larger than requested in our reservation. It was a quiet, peaceful & restful stay once we had settled in to our newly assigned room. The hallways seem a little darker than what we are used too & the carpet / moldings a little dated; it seemed like it could use a clean but this could either be the lighting and/or short staff during the holidays. Note, the parkade is not secure - it's outdoor multi-level, attached to the hotel. The front desk is pro-active at providing CAA / Police Service cards that you can place in your window to advise prowlers that you have removed all valuables from your vehicle. This is very good & recommended. IF your room is on the 3rd or 4th floor, ask to have it face the parkade (still an excellent view) & if you park your vehicle on the top floors of the parkad Lisez la suite

This hotel is located in a convenient spot in the downtown core and has good parking. The hotel staff were very helpful, especially dealing with an internet issue, which they fixed pronto. The room was clean and very comfortable. I will stay again.

The Hotel room reaked of Bounce Laundry fragrance to the extent that it was unbearable. It was necessary to have the window open fully, this is in winter time. I would not have stayed if I could have found another Hotel. Hotels should be scent free with all of the allergies and chemical sensitivities that people have. Perhaps they are using chemicals […] or Bouce Sheets to ward off " Bed Bugs?" This was my one and only stay at Days Inn. Lisez la suite

Clean, comfortable hotel that is in a very convenient location.Reasonable rates too. The hotel was quite full when I was there but the room was nice and quiet. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed, but there are many good restaurants within walking distance, so it worked out okay. I would recommend this hotel.

Our 3 day stay at this hotel was excellent. It is reasonably priced, modestly appointed, and very clean. Parking is provided via an adjoining car park and is included with the room rate. The hotel is nicely located within downtown Edmonton, with an excellent in-hotel restaurant where we had an awesome breakfast and there are several other restaurants […] located within 1 block including Boston Pizza. We paid for a room with a queen bed but were given a room with a king bed at no extra charge, a nice unexpected bonus when we arrived. The staff are pleasant and very willing to help. Overall, this is defintely a 5 out of 5 stay for us. Lisez la suite
