Just spent 8 fun filled days at Dreams Cancun. Cannot say enough great things about the staff. Everyone was attentive and happy. My husband and I took our 5 year old daughter and she really enjoyed the kids club. The hours are 9:30am-9:30 pm ages 3-12 and they have a different activity every hour and it changes daily. There were never more than 10 kids […] at a time (at least when we were there) and there were always 2 to 3 girls to watch after them. They also would feed them lunch and dinner if you like but we preferred to take her out and spend our meals together as a family. I used the gym every morning. The hours are 6am-11pm. I always arrived at 6:05am and it was always open, clean, air conditioned, stocked with bottled water and fresh towels. It's kind of like a run down bally's. 2 treadmills, 1 bike, 1 elliptical and a whole array of weight machines. Honestly, the nicest workout facility i've seen at an all inclusive and I've been to 3 now. The bars are all really great serving middle of the road alcohols. Not top shelf but the nicest I've had at an all inclusive. AND they DON'T water anything down! The best thing for me was they had corona light cans. I think a couple of the days I depleted there stock! The breakfast buffet was amazing in the morning. They had an omelet station and the guy would make egg white omelets if you asked. There was always an assortment of fresh fruit, breads and cereals. Also they had sausages, bacon, french toast, pancakes etc. For lunch, no one talks about the amazing chips they make with a red salsa, green salsa and guacamole. This is available every day in the world cafe. Also, they make fresh tacos and empanadas. You could always find mexican food if you wanted it which I loved. If the buffet isn't for you, there are two options out side on there grounds no one talks about on the reviews. Poolside, there is a grill with a guy making cheeseburgers, french fries, chicken sandwiches, club sandwiches. In addition to this there is Lisez la suite

I know people who have been here on honeymoon, while it was fine for a short holiday I would be very disappointed if this were my honeymoon destination. Service was not great, often we were left standing at bars while waiters were chatting to each other. We've stayed for 5 nights with 2 kids (7&4) and had the best time. the food and service are perfect. the entertainment team is more than great. the only thing I could say is that the room is a bit old fashion and the bed was not that comfort.

GREAT PLACE, ALL YOU CAN DRINK AND EAT!! ROOM SERVICE 24HRS A DAY!! CLOSE TO MANY THINGS!!

The only downside is very hard to get a king size bed as opposed to two queens. We had been upgraded but the room had a mold issue. So we were disappointed in the service once we had a problem. They basically just gave us a room with two queens and continued with her personal phone call. BUT other than that...the hotel was awesome! Waiters and servers […] were amazing. Excellent staff great also food is amazing

My wife and I normally go to Nassau, Bahamas but decided instead to try out Cancun, Mexico given the deals currently available and itch to try an 'all-inclusive' as we have two young children. Dreams Cancun exceeding my expectations. We stayed in a "Club Jacuzzi Suite" that was ~1000 sq. feet with a jacuzzi, needless to say, it was awesome (I would […] highly recommend a 'Club' room as I believe the rooms are 'better' and there are bars / services offered for the exclusive use if staying at the 'Club'). Coupled with several resort restaurants (all are good but nothing to rave about)and the excellent service, it is definitely a place we will come back to as a family. The one area for improvement is with respect to the pool situation. The main pool has people reserving their seats before 6 am making it impossible to get a spot. It was OK for us as we prefer the beach, but the point is there are not enough seats to accomodate people, and we went at a time the resort was not full. Since we stayed at the 'Club', we had access to the small pool on the other side of the resort, but there were no 'umbrellas's' so we could not use that area for the day (i.e. just a short period). Overall: The beach is almost nonexistent, the pool is freezing (as most of it is in the shade - including the swim-up bar), cockroaches in the bathroom at night, some very poor service... The staff at the kids camp was amazing, that was the good thing. The Pan-Asian restaurant was good. Would I reccomend Dreams? Probably not. Of course, you get what […] you pay for. Great place for a vacation. Hotel personnel goes above & beyond the call of duty to please you. Great food, great beach, nightly shows & facilities.

We had a great time at Dreams in Cancun. We were 4, my husband and me and our two boys ages 18 and 16. We went the week before Christmas and it was a great kick off to the holiday. It lived up to most of the reviews I read in making my decision to go. we stayed for 4 days 5 nights, and did not leave the resort at all except to eat next door as I will […] describe later. We were impressed by a few things, the upkeep of the grounds, the kindness of the staff, the number and friendliness of waiters at all of the restaurants and on the beach, the ease of renting jet skis and scuba lessons without having to leave the resort. There is a nice hut and boat dock right on the beach that can arrange most of your water activities. While we brought lots of cash in order to leave tips, the waiters on the beach and in the restaurants did not seem to expect them. They did not hover or linger in anticipation of a tip, they seemed truly eager to help make your stay enjoyable. Dreams Cancun seemed to be unique among the hotels we walked by on the strip as it has both an ocean and bay side and each side is very different. The ocean side is quite and more adult oriented and the bay side more active and family oriented. This was nice because you could chose which mood you were in. Also there was no problem with "hawkers" on either beach. We did not hang around the pool much, this area is more hectic and noisy with families and club activities. But all the people in this area seemed to be enjoying themselves, just not our scene. My husband and eldest son did the "swim with the Dolphins" activity and my husband loved it. The presence of the dolphins is a nice bonus, We stayed in the Towers and really liked the added amenities. The tower lobby is very comfortable to hang out in and enjoyed the continental breakfast evening snacks that are provided and lobby bar that over look a private pool and the ocean. We travelleed with our 3 year old son who had a great time. The sea is safe with a lifeguard on duty. The explorers club takes kids from 3 years and up and offers a variety of activities throughout the day. The staff are well trained and extremely friendly. Raphael and the entertainment team deserve a special mention.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Dreams Cancun. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are the best. The only slight issue we had is that we thought the bed was very hard. Other than that, everything was perfect! We would definitely stay at Dreams again.

Dreams Cancun was excellent! The food is great. The location is perfect close to the bar/clubs and downtown. The service was five star. My friend and I called guest services quiet frequently and they were always pleasant and helpful. When we arrived amstar helped us plan our activities for our stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel for the price. […] Possible con: Expecting more of an adult atmosphere with being known for wedding/ honeymoon atmosphere. There were a lot of people with kids. el hotel tiene muy buenos servicios, el trato de la gente que atiende fue muy amable y servicial. El espacio dedicado a las albercas es muy pequeño pero en la playa privada que tienen, el mar está muy calmado y puedes estar ahí todo el día como si estuvieras en la alberca.

Buena playa, solo que en general las áreas comunes están sucias. La alberca es muy pequeña para el tamaño del hotel. El servicio es muy bueno, la gente muy atenta. Si al hotel le dieran una renovada y quitaron la laguna que tienen en medio del hotel mejoraría mucho desde mi punto de vista. O hotel é antigo. As acomodações apresentam problemas de vazamento de água, entupimento de vaso sanitário. O serviço das camareiras não é padronizado, pois, esquecem de colocar toalhas, sabonetes. Um dia colocam chocolate, outro não. O ar condicionado da sala de ginástica não funciona !! É horrível !! Não dá para ficar lá dentro nem por 5 minutos. A […] única coisa que valeu a pena foi o contato com os golfinhos ! O hotel tem estrutura para que os hóspedes fazem atividades e brincadeiras com eles (serviço pago a parte), porém, os atendentes deste serviço não foram honestos conosco quando fomos negociar a compra das fotografias e DVDs com os golfinhos, Tentaram cobrar valor maior que meus amigos haviam pago, tentando fazer o turista de bobo. Hotel muito agradável e atendimento muito atencioso. Localização ótima. Quartos são bons e limpos. As piscinas poderiam ser maiores, mas não compromete a avaliação geral do hotel.

Adorei o hotel. Muito charmoso e cheio de detalhes. Localização muito boa e dá a oportunidade do hospede desfrutar das duas praias pq está localizado bem na ponta de Cancun.

Hotel muito bom, otima localização, perto de todas as casas noturnas e perto de um shopping, podendo ir a pé. Relativamente perto do La Isla. Serviço de mergulho do hotel muito bom, com barco no cais do hotel, e pontos de mergulho muito próximos. Não precisa usar pulseira nem agendar os restaurantes, basta chegar. Funcionários bem educados. O unico […] ponto negativo, foi que solicitei pacote de lua de mel, e não foi fornecido. Lisez la suite
