Situation

"Simple and fine."
very straight forward hotel and its all I really needed. Breakfast was just muffins & coffee, but if you need more than that, IHOP is down the street.

Hotel.com stated checkout time was at 12:00, got knock on the door and was informed that check out time was at 11:00.

Easy to get to, clean comfortable room. Checking in and out quick and easy. Will definitely book again for next year.
"Horrible stay at the Days in in west springfield"
Completely disappointed in my stay at the day in. I stay in west springfield about 6 times a year. Ive sayed here a couple time before and everytime i stay there always seems to be a light out or the ac/heater doesnt work. Just always sonething little. Im not muh of a conplainer so I just dealt with it. This visit I had I had 2 friends come and surprise […] me and they stayed a night. I had no idea there was a extra fee for more people. The next day the owner of the hotel called me in my room and told me she was going to call the police if they did not leave. And then called back a minute later saying she hasnt seen them leaving yet. It was completely uncalled for and extremely rude the way she talked to me. All she needed to say was that it was going cost me a little extra to have more people stay in my room which I didn't have a problem with paying. I will not be returning to this hotel ever again. hotel is not new, but they try to maintain. service was generally good, except that we didn't get the adjacent rooms we requested, and neighboring guests complained that they hear doors opening and closing the a lot, so that made it uncomfortable for us. rooms a bit small but beds were comfortable. coffee in the breakfast room was good - best part of […] waking up was Folger's in the cup! "Adequate"
There were many small problems that led to unhappiness. The elevator smelled bad. The ice maker on the 3rd floor didn't work. Our heating/AC unit did not work, leading to an uncomfortable night. When trying to contact the desk for a wake up call, they didn't answer, even to say, "would you please hold"? just left it ring for minutes and minutes. Smelled terrible in the room. Actually sickening..Very dirty, cobwebs...Disgusting...
"Good for the price"
We reserved two rooms for a college visit. The hotel was no-frills, but exactly what we expected. It was clean, staff was friendly, and the hotel was close to where we were going.

"Dirty"
It was very dusty and in our shower they didn't clean it well and someone else's hair was it it! Gross!! Also the breakfast had no choices and the food seemed to taste old.

1.) Bathroom tiles had black mold, which I sprayed Lysol on. 2.) Room was small, we had four occupants in the room. there should have been a larger room when there is that many people in it. 3.) They debited my account on the day we made the reservations. That was two weeks before our due date.
"NOT BAD"
Used it to go to BIG E in West Springfield. CLOSE and Inexpensive. It was hot and humid outide - Outdoor Pool was closed (parking lot pool and I would have used if staying more than 1 night) and A/C unit was VERY noisy but worked well. Everything was clean and well maintained. It was worth the price. I will use again next year.

The room was clean, bed's Ok but the condition of some of the items in room needed to be updated or repaired (Light over sink falling off wall etc.) The Breakfast room was a joke..1- slot toaster, bread still in bread bag, not a lot of items to choose from (a lot of mini boxed cereal)

nice place with good service. the room was clean and when we had trouble with the a/c unit the clerk responded right away and was very pleasant as he fixed the problem. My only complaint is the elevator has a nasty, musty odor. Perhaps replacing the rug would help. Located close to major attractions such as the Big E and Six Flags. Room was clean and comfortable. Close to Six Flags, and Basketball Hall of Fame. Worked for us - we would go back again.

We stayed the Days Inn for the night because we were spending two days at Six Flags with three children. The hotel was average but the service was terrible. The Manager Nancy was down right rude upon check in. No smiles there. Then we headed to the pool for a swim where all the children got stung by bees. When we mentioned this to Nancy she said that […] half of the pool area was owned by the hotel next door. We asked her for a cup for ice as the children's stings were swelling and she rolled her eyes and finally gave us a cup. Then when we had dinner they forgot to include flatware annd Nancy (THE MANAGER) would not go into the breakfast room to get us a fork saying she didn't have a key. Very disappointing. The failure of the toilet to flush, the hot water coming in and out during a brief shower, nearly scalding me, and the broken fan in the bathroom which allowed the extensive cigarette smoke from the room next door to drift into our "non-smoking" room - all in all a very disappointing experience. We won't be back.
This place was filthy!!!! Broken furniture, remote did not work, wifi was horrible. Furniture was broken. This hotel is in need of some serious renovating!!!

1st night a/c malfunction, loud-on/off no sleep,loud neighbors. Light not functioning over sink. 2nd night: new room, a/c work until 1am then shut off. Fan only. Hot water both morning very limited; confirmed with other guest who had same problem. Like 3rd world. Rotten apples at breakfast display. "very clean"
This hotel was extremely clean. Ran out of hot water for the shower and because we had an end unit we heard quite a bit of banging in the linen closet and laundry room early in the morning. Check in time is at 3 pm and we had a wedding. She did her best to get us in earlier.

The hotel was well maintained, clean, and pleasant. The lady at the reception desk when we checked in could have been more friendly/polite. The man at the front desk when we checked out was very pleasant.
"Sparse but clean"
My main concern is cleanliness and if things are in working order. This hotel was fine in those respects. Not near any restaurants or bars, however, but we just needed to stay overnight and leave early in the a.m.

Easily accessable from the highway. Very easy check in, and friendly front desk clerk. The room was clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was ok, muffins, cereal, danishes, bagels toast, fruit, etc. Just what we needed, to lay our head, on our trip through Mass.

The stay was just okay. The room had some minor trash issues like candy wrappers on the floor and a disposable razor left in the shower. The pool was closed from 7 a.m until 10 a.m. and yet you have to check out by 11 a.m. which doesn't give you much time to use it for overnight stays with children. Overall the stay was just okay.
"Got what I expected"
We were looking for a place near six flags. This fit the bill. Room was fine. Apparently we got there in time for the "4:20" club, as the hallway reeked of pot. When it didn't smell of pot, it smelled like the inside of an ash tray. Pool was clean. I guess they have $29 passes for six flags at the front desk. We had already bought our tickets. "Not much for the money"
Beds were very hard. Woke sneezing and congested apparently due to dirty air conditioning. No pen or writing paper. Continental breakfast had good food, but the breakfast room is small and crowded.

This hotel ranks in the top 3 WORST places I've been. The only reason we stayed is because everywhere else was booked. There were tiles missing in the bathroom and I'm pretty sure our "non-smoking" room was only for our stay. The smell of smoke was so bad it triggered my asthma. Ewwwwwww!!!! Find any other hotel.
