Interesting set-up as the hotel lobby starts at the 12th floor but not an issue, nice room, quiet, great view, will be back.

Beautiful view, great location. Very comfortable. A few things were missing like a guide of the hotel, on where is what. But besides that it was great also no tv channel guide

Clean and comfortable bed in room. Also free internet at the lobby. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful too. So a very good quality hotel. The location of the hotel is at the edge of downtown and quite far away from the gaslamp quarter. About 10 min walk there. I don't normally mind to walk 10 min but on the way there are many homeless people. So for […] young ladies walking back at night, I won't recommend. This hotel is definitely over price. They provide lousy internet for an additional $9.95- that only one person in the room can get online. The hotel is general tired and needs a face lifted. For the price it was very disappointing. Plus $30 per night for parking. If you have a choice in this price range go elsewhere!

The title about sums it up. Although the hotel was comfortable, it was tagged with "San Diego Int'l Airport". There is a Sheraton near the airport, but this one wasn't it. The hotel was also noisy. Someone was yelling in the hall at 3 a.m., but the building itself was noisy, too. AND there was no shuttle to the airport!

The hotel is extremely pet firendly. We had our 2 toy poodles with us and we had no trouble at all moving in and out of the hotel. The stay was enjoyable.

The hotel was so nice.. All the rooms are suites! It has it's own bedroom and living area with 2 TVs (one in bedroom one in living area) close to the gaslamp and everyone is so nice and helpful and the view from the room is amazing! Only downfall was they didn't have the free breakfast we were use to at most hotels we stay at but there was plenty of […] places to eat anyways. Mini Bar in room was broken as well as the ice machine on our floor. Had to go down one floor which was bad just inconvenient. For some reason I had some reaction to their bed sheets, maybe it was the goose feathered pillows. Overall nice hotel shower was a bit small for me though.

Great hotel but a little but away from Gas Lamp Location. A lot of walking is required

STAYED HERE FOR NYE NIGHT, ROOM WAS NICER THAN EXPECTED, GREAT PLACE TO END THE YEAR AT.

First off I really like the layout of the suites. Location is convenient, within walking distance, and perfect for near by clubs/bars/dining. Could not understand why there was a good number of fruit flies in the suite... no safe In the room (have to use safes in lobby). Overall its a good Hotel for reasonable prices. Everything was fine except the parking situation and explanation of the air conditioning situation.

I used the Vallet Parking services at the hotel, and between 2hours they found out that somebody broke my front passenger window. I have no idea where they parked the car but it's very weird that the only thing the thief took is my Camera, which was sitting under the front Passenger seat. Overall, the service, accomodations and cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding. However, I would not reccommend this hotel when driving a vehicle since parking costs $24 per day, and is awfully located on the 11th floor and it takes about ten minutes to drive each way from the parking structure to the street; it gets rather tedious if you end up having […] to drive more than once a day. Additionally, this hotel is great for guests who travel with pets, my pomeranian felt right at home and the hotel provided her with a greatly comfortable bed. Lisez la suite

The staff was extremely nice and professional. The room was small with very little counter space. The shower was awful and the bathroom was tiny. The size of the bedroom was also too small. It was a problem parking on the 11th floor ONLY with the loby on the 12th floor. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the price of the room

Everything is good. only one thing is border me and my family which is the bathroom shower door (exterior) dirty, moss grown so bad. I did notify the front desk the day I leave.

Affordable and near the gaslamp district. Rooms were a bit smaller than expected.

Great place to stay. Amazingly comfortable beds. Two blocks from trolley to Old Town. Walking distance to Gaslamp area. Excellent service.

Clean, quiet, elegant, comfortable. Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent meals & service at Renditions restaurant. Fast elevators. Convenient to SD Symphony & downtown area.

The parking here sucks. If you have a truck be careful with the parking structure. You pay a daily parking fee of $20. Was glad the hotel was close to the zoo that was a plus. At check-in I was informed the room I reserved was no longer available but was offered a roll away bed 2other guess were also informed of the same thing. The staff was very friendly. […] For the price the room should be more up update. I was expecting an old school fold away bed but was very pleased with the plush bed. Would I stay here again? the room itself was pretty clean. The staff was awesome. I had requested 2 double beds suites but they had none available so they gave us roll-away beds & a cheese platter free of charge which was cool. Only thing i disliked was having to pay for parking everything time i left the structures, stayed over the weekend and $10 everytime u left the structure […] added up for 2 cars we took. This hotel is a good place to stay. It has all the basics and nothing was below average. The service was the only thing that stood out as exceptional. The room has some cool features (french doors seperate the bedroom from the living room) and the bed is very comfortable...not quite "heavely" like the Westin. The bathrooms need upgrading...and the door […] seperating the bathroom from the bedroom is an oldschool latch that didn't work. The furniture needs upgrading as well. If your brought a date here, you'd be totally fine, but won't blow them away. Solid place to stay though. Pool is pretty small and not warm, but not miserable. Spa is too hot! Workout facility was fine, but not great and it's off the pool which is nice for kids to swim and parents be able to look through the glass while they workout. Overall 3 1/2 stars nailed it. The hotel was a good stay. Stayed on the 22nd floor. The only thing that bugged me about the stay was the parking fees and the ramp and led us into the parking lot, it seemed very narrow and you can tell people have scraped their cars. If you have a truck I don't recommend unless you font mind the tight squeeze.

Overall the accommodations were nice, the suite was smaller than expected. We booked the room for 3 adults but the provided amenities, i.e. wine glasses, water glasses, towels, etc. were set up for 2 only. This made things awkward having to make due or ask for additional services. There was no turn-down services provided which seemed odd since we expected […] the sofa sleeper to be set up for the 3rd adult. The Sheraton Suites are what you get for your money. For it's location and for the fact that its rooms are suites, it's a good buy. However, my stay wasn't the greatest. The parking is expensive (more than $20/night) and the trip up to the actual parking spaces was strange cuz you have to go up about 5-6 floors in a spiral. (hard to explain). The […] staff is excellent though. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. We called for extra cups and towels and they came in 5 minutes with the requests. That was a big plus! The room itself wasn't as roomy as I expected and the tv in the sitting area was placed off to the side, so it was difficult to watch tv. We didn't get to use the shower either cuz it wouldn't drain after one of my friends showered. It should've been checked before anyone could check in. All-in-all though, it wasn't that bad of an experience. The location is great...just a couple blocks away from the Gaslamp district and far enough to avoid all of the congestion during the night life hours. If I had to, I would definitely come back though, especially for the price and the customer service. If I could find somewhere better though, I would definitely try it out. Lisez la suite

Walk to lots of local eateries, coffee stops etc. Parking was very reasonable and cost to be expected staying in a downtown location. Was suprised to see reviews that alluded to parking as expensive. I have never stayed downtown in any metropolitain hotel without a parking fee. Would definitly stay here again.

Nice suite, plenty of work space. Nice service. Pain in the butt to get in-and-out of hotel parking, parking fee was extra.

We were in SD for a conference but the conference facilities were far (i.e. Fashion Valley) from most of the sites in SD. To compensate we stayed an extra night and decided to stay closer to the action in downtown. My wife and I are big fans of Sheraton Hotels so we chose the Sheraton Suites at Symphony Hall. We arrived early so we left our baggage […] with the concierge so we could check-in after we went about our day. When we returned from our exhausting trip to the zoo we checked-in grabbed our luggage and set off for our room. We didn't know what to expect because for a Sheraton Hotel we got an exceptional rate. This was probably because it was a Thursday night in mid-December. Upon opening the door to our room we were pleasantly surprised to find a well decorated and well furnished room with a fantastic view of the city. The room included a sofa (it pulled out into a bed but we didn't use it); a comfy chair; a flat panel TV (TV stand included multiple drawers); mini bar; microwave; a desk area. The bed was located inside a mini room accessible via French doors. This was a nice touch. The bedroom had multiple drawers for our clothes and included another television (CRT). The bathroom included both a tub and a separate shower as well as a substantial closet to hang your clothes. The toilet/bathing area was separated by pocket doors into the sink/vanity area. This allowed both my wife and I to get ready at the same time without any inconveniences. I'm sure I'm missing other furniture and amenities but this is everything I can remember off the top of my head. Unfortunately my wife was under the weather so we were unable to take advantage of staying at Symphony Hall. There are concerts there on a regular basis. If you are interested in attending call in advance to determine the dress code and ticket availability for performances. We had a fantastic room with a gorgeous view of the San Diego downtown area. The windows were beautifully sound proof while we enjoyed watching all the planes land at the nearby airport...awesome view! We were upgraded (for free) to the 18th floor which has purified air to combat allergies so that was great. Flew into San Diego in late September for a family vacation. Myself, my wife, my young daughter and my mother. Got a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Should have gotten a cab instead since it is so close. We had to wait for the driver to drop off other people, and we were last. Would have been a 10 minute cab ride. We checked in on Saturday afternoon […] and everything went smoothly. Got a room on the 25th floor. The Lobby is on the 12th floor btw. After checking in, we walked 6 blocks from A St., where the Sheraton is, to Westfield Horton Plaza. Nice walk, beautiful weather, nice open-air mall. Night 1: Party people next door kept us up past 11:00 PM. Not the hotels fault though. However, at night you can hear every door close. The walls are super thin. We tried to close the doors separating the bedroom from the living room, but the doors were blocked by the beds. Bad planning. We got a room with two queen beds. My mother and daughter slept on one and my wife and I slept on the other. The queen bed was kind of small though, my wife is a light sleeper and I tend to move around alot. So I opted to go sleep on the pull-out bed on the sofa. Bad idea. It was like being tortured. I could feel every (LOUD) spring, which provided no support. I could also feel the lateral bars going across the bed, which bent me backwards. I ended up folding the bed back into the sofa and sleeping on the sofa. Day 2: we visited SeaWorld. 10 minute cab ride. The Valets were very helpful in hailing us a cab. Afterwards, we took a cab to Little Italy and had some great pasta. There is a YogurtLand there too, which is great for dessert. Day 3: we rented a car at Enterprise downtown and drove to 30 minutes to Carlsbad to visit Legoland. We returned the car the same day, so I can't review their parking garage. Side Note: PETCO Park is downtown on J St., so it is only 10 blocks away, walking. If you're going to catch a Padres game, this isn't a bad place to stay. Day 4: Relaxed at the hote Lisez la suite

This hotel was even nicer than I expected, really lovely. Staff were extremely helpful with our car and helpingthe car hire etc. The bed was really comfortable. the location was great, it was close to gaslamp quarter, but not too close so no noise. Really nice experience

This is a great hotel for the money. The rooms are large and comfortable. The price for breakfast seemed a little steep, but there are many good places to eat within walking distance. There are a lot of homeless people in the area, however, they seemed to be just about everywhere downtown. I would stay here again if I were in the area. The parking garage is a joke. The ramp is way to narrow for a big car. The parking spaces were also a tight squeeze. Also the parking fee was way to high. The actual room was ok. No problem there. However, the mini bar was another issue. My wife opened a beer thinking it was a soda. The charged us nine dollars for our mistake. The neighborhood is not […] the best. A lot of homeless people sleep in the parking lot across the street. Mcdonalds is four blocks away and the only gas station around charges way to much, because they know there is other gas stations in the vicinity. Lisez la suite
