l'hotel est très bien situé à San Diego, dans un quartier animé avec beaucoup de restaurants, shopping à proximité et sécurisant au niveau environnement. nous y avons séjourné4 jours avec nos 2 enfants adolescents et avonsbeaucoup aprécié. nous y retournerions sans hésitation. muriel K nouvelle Calédonie

Hôtel très sympa avec un côté très "classic" du vielle hôtel des années 30 . Le personnel est globalement charmant, dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de petit dej compris mais un restaurant attenant au restaurant fait des breakfast SOMPTUEUX. Franchement profitez du décalage horaire pour vous lever tôt et prendre un méga petit déj chez eux , je suis un bon mangeur mais honnêtement on tient aisément jusqu'au soir même en visitant toute la journée... Sinon la localisation de l'hôtel est idéale vous êtes en plein Gas Lamp ... à 2 pas de tous les bars sympas , du fameux "house of blues" , pas loin du port et du sea port village. Vous pouvez aussi prendre le Tram (sur la 5ème av) qui vous conduira aux différents lieux de la ville (balboa park,...): en bref un hôtel à recommander pour les gens qui veulent profiter de leurs séjours pour visiter (ce n'est pas un hôtel pour rester uniquement dans l'hôtel)et bouger.

Hôtel très confortable, parfait pour des congrès, séminaires... Il manque des réfrigérateurs dans les chambres, et la piscine est mal orientée (à l'ombre des bâtiments). Le service est parfait.

The location was chosen carefully: it is in a residential area, close to four different malls or shopping centers or plazas. It is close to Interstate 5. I can do all my shopping within 2 miles. Every detail of our holiday stay in La Jolla was carefully tended by the incredible staff of the Hyatt La Jolla - five stars to all.
"Outrageous"
No microwave in the room. No coffee maker in the room. All TV Channels paid. Refrigerator available only on request Breakfast is not free. You have to park your car on the street and if you don't get street parking,which you most often don't , you will have to pay $20 per night for self parking or $25 fro valet parking. "Disappointing"
I very very disappointed in my recent stay at the Hyatt in La Jolla. I chose it because of the location, reputation and the cool looking exterior. The staff was friendly, but certainly didn't offer to open the door to the hotel, and the valet parking fee left us searching for room on the street. The smell of air freshner in the hallways and our room […] was overwhelming and we had to open the window just to be able to breathe! No in-room coffee maker and the worn towels in the bathroom were the other disappointments, along with the fee to use the gym. I guess it's OK for an overnight business stay, but I was looking for a little pampering. I would definitely choose another hotel for my next stay. Lisez la suite

The rooms and hotel itself are great and the location is also very convenient. . .If you have a car. It is typical of southern California though, there is not much you can really walk to -- There are 3 nice restaurants across the way but not much else around. "Hyatt La Jolla - Beautiful Location!"
It was our 30th wedding anniversary and one in which we will not soon forget - thanks to the wonderful staff (particularly Olga) and the beauty of the Hyatt La Jolla. The view from the room was gorgeous, so much so that I found myself up at 4 in the morning staring out the window, taking in the lights and the landscape of the area surrounding the hotel […] - just awesome is all I could say! And, so many wonderful restaurant choices on the grounds. We chose Truluks and had an equally fabulous experience there - treated like royalty - as the hotel (Olga) advised them that it was a special time for us-so they too laid out the red carpet. From appetizers all the way to dessert. The hotel was clean, comfortable & in a beautiful area. The treatment by the staff was topnotch, from the valet service to the private club level staff. I was a little dissapointed to discover that the request I placed when making a reservation can not be fulfilled, and I was not notified of it until I was checking in. 2. nice hotel, on the expensive side (for me), and no continental breakfast included, and I had to pay $20 per night for parking!!!! I've stayed at cheaper hotels / inns, where parking […] was free and continental breakfast was included 3. again, the hotel is on the expensive side and i had to pay for internet access in the room!!!! a lot of chepaer hotels/inns have free internet, sometimes limited in time, but nevertheless, free!!! 4.both sink and toilet were clogged and it took forewever to drain!!! We even had to go to the lobby's restroom to avoid clogging the toilet even more! 5. last but not least - no air ventilation in the restroom???? that was the first for me, even the cheapest motels' bathrooms have ventilators! I don't think there is any insulation between the floors or rooms. I could clearly hear them talking in the room next door. Very loud hotel. Woke up several times to banging and running. They knocked on our door before 9 AM to clean. There is nothing in the area except a shopping mall. Can't walk to anything. No coffee pots in the rooms. Traffic […] in the area is horrible. This hotel was clean comfortable and pretty quiet. The housekeeping staff were very helpful and the rooms were very well kept. The food at Michaels bar and grill down stairs was delicious...will definately stay again!

"Our first stay at the Hyatt"
Our stay at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla, San Diego was very comfortable. We started our morning enjoying breakfast in the hotels dining area called the Barcino and ended the night after sharing a few drinks at Micheal's Bar convienently located inside the Hyatt. While located next to many exciting sites; La Joya Shores Beach, 3 different upscale restaurants […] right outside the Hyatt, and so many more. We will be back to venture more of San Diego, while staying at the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla of course. Thank You Hyatt Regency for making our stay a rememberable one. Lisez la suite
"Great restaurants"
Had a fun stay here for my son's 5th birthday. The pool is nice and there are great restaurants right across the way. We went to Flemings for dinner and then next door to The Melting Pot for dessert. Lots of fun. Very well maintained. The staff is very nice and helpful.

The hotel itself is very nice, if a little impersonal. We checked in with an automated teller, so there was no one greeting us upon entry. Not too big a deal to me, but something to note. My issue was with the noise in the morning. We must have been below some sort of utility room, because by 8am, there was loud banging and conversation going on right […] above us. The walls do little to block out any conversations of passing neighbors in the hallways. That made the morning quite unpleasant. Also parking is a significant expense. Unless you want to spend a long time searching for a spot on the public streets around the hotel, be prepared to spend $20 a night on parking - and that's not even valet. Lisez la suite

"VIP"
We stayed at The Hyatt Regency for our first Wedding Anniversary. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We were treated like VIP"S. I can't remember ever being treated like a VIP at any other hotel. We will be returning to The Hyatt Regency for our future anniversaries. Thank you so much for making us feel important on our special day.

Great hotel!!! My husband and I went there for an anniversary trip. Everything was fantastic!! It is close to shopping, restaurants and movies. Hotel outside and public areas are good. Room do not have facilities, no fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker. Hotel like this should have convenience for guest.

"La Jolla Hyatt/Non-working sink"
Beautiful property & great location but management that's not on par with this. How can you have a non-working sink, totally clogged (not slow draining) when the room was cleaned prior my stay. Also, "private" on the door at most hotels means that housekeeping doesn't knock on the door at 10:30 a.m. When I complained about the sink upon checkout, the […] response was "thank you for letting us know." "Nice hotel, poor service"
This place is very nice and rather on the expensive side. For this price, I would expect much better service. We had to call three times over four hours to finally get the rollaway bed delivered that we had originally requested when we made the reservations. "Overpriced"
No frig. No free internet, I had to pay to park at there building. I've stayed in better where they didn't charge for everything. Surprised I didn't have to swipe my credit card just to use the rest room.

"Not what I would expect from the Hyatt in La Jolla"
I checked in with Kelsey who was professional and courteous. I proceeded to my room 611 to wash up for dinner. To my surprise, the bathroom floor had "hair" on the floor, stuck to the wall, and walls were dirty. I then opened the shower curtain to find the shower floor was dingy black and also had hair. I called the front desk and they were quick to […] recommend a room change, 626. They provided me access to the Regency level for the incovenience. Again, the bathroom floors had hair, shower floors dirty, light swtiches dirty, outdated wallpaper. The external view of the property is in good condition. The lobby is also nice. It's shame that the hall ways, hotel rooms, are outdated and definitely show their wear and age. For the price I paid, I would expect a lot more. The Regency level was a nice surprise. The hors d'oeuvres were a palatable, good in fact. I snacked on the brie and fontina, olive bread, some veggies and a perrier. I've stayed in Marriot down the road and had a much better experience. "La Jolla Hyatt"
Staff was very friendly and professional. They made my 5 day stay tolerable. The hotel property is in need of better maintenance and needs a major upgrade and facelift. The bathroom was old and very disappointing. The towels were worn and not quite threadbare but close. Great location though the parking fee was very high.

"Hyatt Regency La Jolla - Great Place to Stay"
We had a wonderful stay at this Hyatt Regency. Every staff member we had contact with was friendly and helpful. It was like they could not do enough for us! The pool and spa were lovely and the breakfast in the hotel was a delight. We most certainly would stay there again!

Great hotel, very good location, close to lots of shopping, food and the interstate. The pool is nice, but is shared with a health club that limits the space you can swim in. You will either have to pay for valet, or self-park, and the valet tends to be very slow even though there are 4 or 5 guys standing around. "I've always liked the Hyatt Hotel"
The room was very nice at the end of the hall. There were two problems, (1) the TV remote was unable to cut off the power; (2) there cold water faucet had a little leek where it wouldn't turn all the way off. I reported it the next morning. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

Hotel was clean and nice. Rooms were also clean and comfortable. There is a $20 a night self park fees. Hotel is located a few miles away from all the San Diego attractions but it very close to the freeways so it wasn't really a problem. Hotel had a check-in kiosk which was awesome. The menu items were more expensive than posted, and the service and delivery charges were high but had been increased even more-- a 22.5% service charge plus a $4 delivery charge. 1 réponse par Hyatt Regency La JollaThe premises are like a 5 star hotel. Rooms, however, are pretty basic. This is not to say they are bad; just don't live up to the premises. I still would stay here again however as the price is reasonable for the location and as I mentioned, the hotel itself is nice.

Stayed here after a long running event. Came in exhausted, dirty, and hungry. Staff was extremely helpful. Room service was quick and tasty. Bed was lovely. Breakfast buffet was delicious. Toothpaste in the room was a nice touch. Pool area was clean - lap lanes were appreciated. Excellent stay.
