Super 8 North Of The Falls - Niagara Falls

Motel propre mais loin des chutes du Niagara et de la ville, environ 3 Km .

Motel basique sans plus avec petit dejeuner (petit) avec petite piscine mais agréable l'été proche des chutes . Conseil ne prenez pas les parking à 20 $ mais remonter un peu dans la ville on peut en trouver à 5 $ la journée

l'hotel est bien situé, pas très éloigné des chutes mais loin des bruits nocturnes (environ 4-5 km) . Chambre spacieuse servant le petit déjeuner chaque matin et petit restaurant adjacent a prix raisonnable. Chaque jour, nous avions des serviettes propres, les lits faits, balayeuse passée, verres,etc. Certaines améliorations sont en cours et d'Autres […] qui devront être refait....Piscine extérieure chauffée et propre. Pour des gens qui visitent les environs et qui ne se servent de la chambre que pour dormir et se reposer après une journée épuisante (on marche beaucoup pour visiter Niagara) c'est parfait et surtout au prix que nous avons eu la chambre pour notre séjour car entre le camping situé directement à côté de Marineland, il n'y a qu'une légère différence......avec hotels.com bien sur!!!!!!!!!! Le personnel ne parle qu'en anglais et pas très souriant par contre. Les stationnements en ville, en s'éloignant un peu ou bien le soir à côté de la grande roue dans une petite rue ne sont pas dispendieux (il faut remonter la clifton hill et arriver tôt parce que le prix monte dans la journée et redescend en soirée). le service d'autobus débarque les gens directement devant l'hotel. Les parties communes mériteraient plus d'entretien. bon rapport qualité-prix, site intéressant en face de l'escarpement du Niagara, déjeuner pourrait être plus varié.

It was very much out of the way. The closest bus stop was a 20 minute walk! There is ONE phone line for all the rooms to share, so when people call to talk they are told to call back in 30 minutes, also the front desk ask people calling in to keep the call down to a couple minutes!!! I was accused of being a drug dealer because I had phone calls coming […] in....not very impressed at all, and when I spoke to the manager about it he said "well it happens all the time." This is still not a valid reason to ever ask your customers so etching like that unless you have proof, in which case, call the cops!!!! Lisez la suite

I recently stayed here for a couple of days. Can't beat the price for a place to stay in Niagara Falls! Rooms are clean and very courteous and accomidating staff.

My friend and I recently stayed at the Super 8 Motel on River Rd. It may be a bit out of the way at first look, but was only a 5 minute drive to Casino Niagara and 8 minutes to the main strip. It is an excellent location for a poker player on a road trip. Very cost efficient and the rooms were descent. Rooms were clean. Staff was quite helpful and accomidating […] as well. I was not trying to stay at a Hilton. I wanted a small inexpensive room for the night. I wasn't seeking special services or features. Everything I was looking for was perfect, 2 twin beds, clean room and bath, WiFi, small free breakfast with all-the-time coffee. TV with alot of free channels. we stayed for one night at this super 8. checked in late, staff was very friendly. room was large and comfortable. obviously needs some minor repairs (some flaking paint, wallpaper coming off), but the room and bathroom were very clean and spacious -- two beds, tv, fridge, table, two chairs, etc. it was a quick drive from the falls (i'm sure it would […] also be a nice walk to the falls, but we didn't stay long enough). complimentary breakfast of coffee, toast, cereal, muffins was a nice little bonus. most of all the price paid for our room was rock bottom low! would definitely stay here again. For someone on a budget, it is a very acceptable place to stay. It is quite clean, well sited, quiet, and comfortable. Secondary Niagara Falls attractions are only a km to the north. I would recommend this place as very acceptable.

Clean room - free continental breakfast. Fridge and coffee maker in room. Had difficulty heating room. Shower worked at 1/2 strength.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, out of the bustle of the main area (but probably requires a car to go to/from the falls).

Had a great stay with reasonable rates and a great staff!!!!!

Good motel to stay at for the price. Beds were clean and firm and would return. Only thing I did not like was the complementary brekfast ends at 9am and the staff does nothing for you when you show up at 9:05 like I did.

Good price,but bad smell. Just lack of air circulation.

Overall quite happy with our stay. Only complaint was that the plumbing is quite bad in that even when your next door neighbors are using the shower, the noise is quite loud. Maybe it's just how the Motels are. Would definitely recommend the Motel.

Good hotel for the price. Good area, would definately stay again.

The Hotel was scary right off the bat driving in to the parking lot. The rooms were just below average. Needs new carpeting, wall paper peeling off the walls and old TV's with very bad reception. The bathroom was probaly the best part of the room. The night wasn't quite worth the piece of mind you would have some where else. My wife slept in her cloths, […] she didn't want to spend the night. For the money, ity was one of the best offers that I have had. While it is not close to the activities, it was close to the peoplemover so that you could leave your car at the motel and not worry about parking. We picked the hotel because it was reasonably priced in an expensive place and it was close to the Niagara parkway trail for biking. If you can look past the paint chipped off the wall, the wallpaper pealing off the window sills and the cobweb in the corner, it's not a bad place - really. It was clean, just rough. The room is spacious and clean. Location is convenience, only 5 min drive from/to Niagara Falls.

we would def stay at this place again close to everything but quiet we was happy with our choice of staying here

this hotel has been a great getaway location for our family, it is very well priced and has great ammenities, nice pool and also free breakfast. it is worth mentioning about the personnel working at this hotel, especially the service desk managers including Fred and Ben, very helpful in so many ways.....Nigara Falls points of attraction, distances, […] routes etc. Distance from the main strip is insignificant, beds are comfy, rooms are clean and the atmosphere is very cozy. The faucet is not working

We checked in late in the night, but the manager was very friendly and helpful. He took care of us very well and also helped us the next day guiding us to go around and seeing Niagara Falls and other activities.

CHECK IN ONLINE & DESK DIFFERENT TIME. 2 HOURS WAITING at DESK STILL ROOM NOT AVAILABLE. ROOM Dirty & STINK. IN THE MORNING AT BREAKFAST TABLE OWNER LOOKING AT WHAT QTY OF BREAKFAST EAT BY EACH CUSTOMER. 50 PEOPL IN BREAKFAST AREA ONLY 5 PEOPLE CAN STAND IN BREAKFAST AREA. I BETTER DONT GO FOR MY VACATION. THIS IS IS CALL SUPER 8.......

staff very courteous and helpful. WIFI did not give good signal in room and manager allowed the guest with us to use lobby for extensive period so she could keep up with her work as she had to do. Got a thank you note left in room by the maid for leaving her a tip.Liked being not directly in Niagara falls so could go to other areas such as Niagara on […] the Lake, wineries. Especially liked not having to pay for parking at the hotel. Continental breakfast much appreciated. Excellent value for the money and would recommend it to anyone. We had booked three rooms and only one was ready when we arrived at 2:30pm and had to wait until almost 4pm to get the other two rooms. The room's were just ok but the pillow's were like pancakes, very flat......

Unfortunately, because we had already paid for the room through hotels.com, we ended up spending the night even though the trim above the washroom door was missing and tiles in the washroom were missing. It was evident that the repairs/maintenance were not done by professionals as things remained unfinished and poorly done. The room did not appear clean […] so we kept our socks on and they were quite dirty upon leaving. Not an impressive hotel to stay at. The only positives were the price, considering it is in Niagara Falls on a weekend, and the beds were comfortable. Lisez la suite

This hotel was well worth the money.

I was shocked to see that as soon as I had pulled into the parking lot there was already someone leaving the check in office in a rage. That was not a good start. Then, in the office there was yet another hotel guest having an argument about something that they would not fix in the room for them. I found the manager to be bit nosy in regards to my stay […] and was not very impressed with that either. The hotel is very far from the heart of Niagara (much too far to walk). The only way that you can enjoy your stay here is if absolutely nothing goes wrong as they do not seem to be very helpful and accommodating. Lisez la suite

We were very pleased with our motel - it was clean, convenient, efficiently run and comfortable. Now if they could only do something about the rain!!

Staff are great, the pricing is great compared to other locations room was clean. if your on a budget this is the place for you.

This hotel was cheap and for the amount of money it was well worth it. The only problem, the walls are a bit too thin. Good value for money for short stays.

Check in was simple. Staff was pleasant. Rooms were standard , nothing special but comfortable and clean with all the necessities included for a great price. Will stay there again when I make my next trip.

You pretty much get what you pay for. Price was important to us. Surprise: a juice box on the bed when we walked into the room. Carpet had a couple of stains. Bathroom was clean and in very good condition but smallish. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The TV remote did not work but no big deal. We were not there to watch TV. We were ready […] to leave at 6:30 AM. Continental breakfast was set up in a very small lobby area but unavailable to us as the door was locked and a note posted that it would open at 7:00 AM. they say breakfast not included, but it indeed is included. but you do not get anything what you expect. the breakfast bar was a joke. it is smaller than my kitchenette at my cottage up north. and they close the breakfast bar at 9:30 AM. this was a shame leaving the hotel without even a coffee... I asked the front desk staff if they can give me a cup […] of coffee at least but he refused to give me a small cup of coffee, which I thought was very rude and cheap. Pros Overall, the quality of the hotel is what you paid for. No Bad = No Good. Cons Make sure to bring your own towels and the TV''s are probably from the early 90's with malfunctioning remotes. the light bulbs were all fused, we had only the reading light and the bathroom light working. At night there's some weird people walking around the hotel so be sure NOT to walk after sunset with or without groups. Take a cab or drive to downtown instead Lisez la suite

A quiet clean place for a short stay. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget who needs a good place to stay.

THE PEOPLE WERE REALY FRIENDLY THE POOL WAS NICE AND HEATED BUT A BIT SMALL. AC IN THE ROOM NOISY BUT THEY FIXED IT . SHUTTLE RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE HOTEL WAS A PLUS BUT I WOULD HAVE PAYD A BIT LESS FOR WHAT WE GOT .
