Bien situé. Tres bruyant coté. rue Nous étions au 8 étage. La vue n était pas surper mais nous étions la pour dormir seulement.. J ai bien aimé malgré tout

The hotel staff were very nice and accomodating. The breakfast was just so so, expected Papaya there was none and they didn't have bananas either. The mufins were okay, bread was pretty white. The noise from the music they played all night was not acceptable. Also had loud street noise, so ask for an inside room. The location is good - close to Kuhio for bus/trolley transport, 5-10 mins walk to Waikiki beach, plenty of restaurants & shopping choices. Rooms are comfortable, but need to close windows at night to shut out noise if on Lewers St side of building. Good value compared to up-market hotels just a block or two away, if having a view is not important. Stayed for one night making last minute reservation. Good location right off the main street from the shopping. Two blocks to the beach. The hotel is very close to the main strip but still very quiet. The continental breakfast was great and there is a little pool to cool off in. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Loved the jacuzzi tub in our room! Bed was a little too firm but still just fine. Although the hotel was in a very good location for beach, shopping and restaurants the fact it was close to two Irish pubs meant it was very noisy late at night and affected our ability to a good night's rest.

Front Desk staffs are not approachable and unfriendly.They act like they don't want to be there and not very helpful with my questions and concerns. . They rather socialize among themselves than to help their guest.

My prepaid receipt said PAID IN FULL. But NOT. This is one of those hotels that tacks on a 'Resort" fee, you are informed about when you check in. I think Hotels .com should inform customers about these hotels ahead of time. We loved it....we were pleasantly surprised and the staff at the hotel is very accomodating and very friendly.. There's a little pond w turtles and koi(carp)..location is walking distance to beach and in the heart of Waikiki... we are definitely going to stay there again!!!

this hotel right in the city of waikiki, room was spacious and plesant, very clean with balcony, view of city, arrived on an early flight and was able to have the room immediatly with an upgrade for a little extra. very reasonable . bathroom was huge and spotless. staff were very friendly and helpful. european breakfast was great with fruit, cakes, […] tea coffee and juices. great value and big saving by booking with hotels.com Lisez la suite

Waikiki Joy was in a great location, close to all kinds of shopping. The First Morning we had ants and they came to take care of it right away. They were working in the hotel so every day there was drilling, the breakfast was not much to boost about. Just toast and fruit.... Otherwise a good hotel for the price.

Great location 1 block from other hotels that charge $300 a night. A way to stay there and afford other great Hawaiian treats

As others have commented the hotel is older but the beds were very comfy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Take advantage of the toasters and buy your own multigrain bread and peanut butter. It was nice to sit in the coutyard drinking fresh coffee, cold juices, eating pineapple and listening to the birds rather than a busy restaurant!

We loved the location and the people at the Aston Waikiki Joy. The room was very nice size and the bed quite comfy and the sheets were crisp n clean. But...it could use a LOT of refreshing and better cleaning. The walls, floors, furniture were very dirty in appearance and I had to literally wipe down the phone with an antiseptic wipe. When checking in all went well.But in the morning when asking at the desk about site to visit they weren't very helpful just said that there were brochures over there just help yourself to them, Plus when checking out the bellboy came to the waiting area said our shuttle was here with no offering of taking our bags to shuttle so was not impressed about […] the service. My cousin and I really enjoyed are stay. We liked the location because it was only a block from our seminar that we attended at the Embassy Hotel for 3 days. We enjoyed the continental breakfasts. Our room was very roomy. Our porter Mike was super. We also had a great deal.

Rude person at front desk Melissa. Extremely bad mannered and in a bad mood Stayed in this hotel 10 years ago. No maintenance or upgrading has been carried out in rooms since. Excellent location, litle bit noisy at night if you left balcony door open. Good value for money, very friendly and helpful staff.

hotel is very clean, central,bit noisy for sleeping at night as traffic very busy day and night,also breakfast could be improved a bit, otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much...

Wonderful staff, wonderful service. Regular room saved lots of money and was MORE than adequate! We stayed on the 4th floor facing Lewers (Street in front of the hotel) and the heavy duty doors and windows did a fantastic job at keeping the noise at bay. Our favorite hotel feature was LOCATION! Off the main drag which is ideal! Clean (but dated decor) room, friendly staff, center of town, with a comfortable CLEAN bed! Stayed here and walked (literally) to the corner for Mai Tai's and a flat bread pizza at the Royal. Aloha!

The staff and Valet were great. The continental breakfast is a joke 7am is way too late to start breakfast, especially when you are there visiting on business. The room was very small, but quite. The internet however gives a false indication of what the hotel looks like. The bathroom was pretty yuck... old spa tub... would never sit my butt down in […] that tub. the pool is only about 14x14 not big at all and because of the location no sun until about 130 or so in the afternoon. I was also disappointed that you have to pay to use the gym amenities by the day. The location of the hotel was fantastic... I'm sure that's the only reason for the high pricing on the rooms. Aston Joy in Waikiki is 2 quick blocks to Waikiki Beach, and close to everything we needed like convenience stores, bars and restaurants. We arrived fairly late, and it was an easy check in. We had a room on the 10th floor looking over the street. We had a view of the ocean from our lanai although it wasn't a view room, and a great view just outside […] of the front door. It's an older hotel, but everything was clean and convenient. The lobby is open-air, and has open air covered seating for breakfast and koi ponds. The was a very small swimming pool. The bed was fabulously comfortable, with air conditioning right over the bed. Breakfast was muffins and fruit, but adequate for our needs. Hotel was about 2 blocks from the beach. It was very clean. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. I was street side but noise was fine for city living. The hotel was a great price for a no frills hotel. The free breakfast was not great. Coffee(was fine) and standard white toast. That was it. (BUT FREE) also coffee maker in room. Staff very helpful. We stayed there a couple nights in October 2010. We are low maintenance travellers that do not need to be pampered so consider the source when reading this. The hotel is good if you are looking for a decent location on a budget. No frills but close to the action. First off, I found the staff to be kind and helpful. The rooms are a bit older but good enough given you will be outside most of the time. The air conditioner was located right over our bed which was a bit unusual and resulted in us going to sleep warm but waking up in the middle of the night freezing and having to turn it off. I also got a kick out of the cassette deck in our room (where is my mix tape of Classic Rock from the 80s when I need it!) We had a small deck which was nice for the pre evening beer or wine before heading out to a restaurant or lounge. The continental breakfast is basic, plan to get more food elsewhere. close to shops and beach good value for money BREAKFAST could be improved One of the staff at breakfast could learn to be alittle more curtious and be told a smile costs her nothing over all a very good position just back from the expensive hotels and beaches

since i got a room here earlier this year, and just recently the room was great and comforting. size and price was well worth it. balcony looking over the city side of lewer street was extremely perfect. would love to go there again....and soon!

This hotel was a no frills hotel with outdated furnishings but it was very conveniently located to Waikiki and having the AC in the room was nice after being outside.

This hotel was close to the "strip" in waikiki. The hotel overall needs a make-over as many of the hotels in the area do. I think of the older hotels there in this price range, this is one ofthe better ones. I would stay here again for a cheap hotel in the area.

We live here on the island and often get a room downtown just for a night out. This place was perfect. Great staff, clean room, perfect location. The only problem we had was PARKING. The ONLY place available is a public pay lot behind the hotel. That was fine with us, we totally understand that parking is difficult in Waikiki :-) BUT..... the pay […] lot offered some choices to pay and none of them really worked for anyone staying at a hotel. The one we chose was the overnight choice. We paid to park from 4pm until 7am. The only other choices were to pay for 4 hours at a time or a daytime price. Needless to say no one really wants to get up before 7am to go out and repay for parking. We slept in not realizing what time it was and ended up getting a ticket! Lisez la suite

家族6人、ジュニアスィート2部屋で4泊しました。 小規模なホテルで騒がしさは無いですが、エレベーターは一台だけで、全体的に古さを感じました。 部屋の広さは ◎ ですが、キッチンに蟻が大量に出たのは閉口しました （guam じゃないんだから…） やはり料金と星の数はホテル選びの鍵ですね！

最上階ワンベッドルーム・フルキッチンの部屋でした。立地場所はDFSの裏側で、買い物などをするには、とっても便利です。 しかし、自分で申し出ないとセーフティボックスの使用などで加算される１日に月１０ドル程度のチャージがあり、何も使わなくても加算されるので注意が必要です。 キッチンのコンロは古い電熱タイプで火力が弱く、使いにくかったです。やかんはなく、食器の種類も少なく調理をしようにも限定されると思いました。 TVは、日本語放送があるとなっていますが、画像はほとんど期待できず、音声だけが聞けるといったものでした。ソファーは古くて真ん中が沈んでしまうし、エアコンの温度調節はできないなど備品は、期待できません。

ジュニアスイートに4泊しました。 フロントに日本語の話せる方はいませんでしたが、親切な対応でした。 お部屋は、とてもきれいでした。 大型ホテルではありませんが私たち夫婦には十分でした。

こちらのホテルは個人手配時の定宿として使わせて頂いていました。 今回もジュニアスィートを利用しました。 広いキッチン、ジャグジーバス、可動式ハンドシャワー、ウォシュレット付きトイレに満足です。 アメニティについては、以前あった綿棒と室内利用のスリッパが無く残念でしたが、いろんなリクエストにも対応して頂いたので満足です。 また買い物やトロリーバス、路線バス乗車にもアクセス良好です。

どうせ昼間は外出するので、ただ寝るためのホテルと割り切って利用したが、それも叶わなかった。夜になると近くのバーから大音量のバンドの音楽が流れてきて、夜中まで続くし、朝は早よからゴミ収集車と工事の音で起こされた。 もう一つ、夜間カウンターにスタッフが常駐しておらず（居ても奥のオフイスに引っ込んでいる）泊り客以外がフリーパスで宿泊スペースに入れる。セキュリティーが心配。
