Nous avons apprécié la situation, le calme malgré la situation en plein centre ville, l'accueil (dépendant toutefois des réceptionnistes), le confort de la chambre, mais pas la proprété de cette dernière. Elle sentait très fort la cigarette et la moquette et le bas des meubles sont vraiment sales. La moquette est pleine de tâches et le bas des meubles […] est noir.Le tissu des fauteuils n'est pas très net non plus. Vu le prix de la chambre, un effort de proprté à ce niveau est grandement souhaitable ! We stayed in this Koreana Hotel from 31st Mar to 8th Apr 2012. We noticed that the carpet was very dirty and even when we made a specific request for the carpet to be vacuumed, it was done in a very minimum way as we noticed there are still biscuits crumps and hairs on the carpet. As this is our holiday, we usually sleep in the hotel till noon or even […] past noon time but we have never hear the cleaning staff use the vacuum cleaner for the other rooms. The carpet looks in a very worn out and dirty state. The bedsheets are clean and the room nicely tidied every day. The location of the hotel is situated in such a way that each time when the taxi brings us back to the hotel, it has to make a big U turn to get to this hotel. Watch out for the free bottle of water that this hotel gives. They only give ONE free bottle a day no matter how many people are using the room. Any additional bottle will cost KRW3,300. The staff at the check-in reception did not inform us of this and we only found out later when we saw the price on the price list that is placed above the mini bar. As I forget to bring my tooth brush, I had no choice but to use the one in the hotel. Although the price stated on the price list is KRW3,300. I was charged KRW6,600 for it. When I asked why I was charged double for this, the staff told me it is for TAX. I find it hard to believe that the tax on the toothbrush can be 100%. Lisez la suite

This used to be one of the top hotels in Korea and its location, especially for business, is still fantastic. Even as activity in Seoul shifts south of the river, the Koreana is close to good transport links for easy access anywhere. The problem is that it needs a refit. Everything is worn and getting close to being dirty. Things like Internet access […] and plugs don't work very well and the rooms fittings just need replacing. A bath overflow that pumps water across the floor to a central drain is dangerous. Some temperature control in the room would be nice. It's very cold in Seoul in January. The front office staffs isn't that friendly in assisting enquiries especially the day before I check-out on the 09 Jan 2012 was told in a very rude and impolite manner when I requested for a slight late check out at around 1 to 2pm initially but the latter when I told the F.O Manager that I will email a letter of complaint to express my dissatisfaction […] during my stay, then he (Mr Seo) agreed with compliance to allow me to check out at 1pm. I am very unhappy about this particular incident and also when I wanted to settle my bill payment for any outstanding, I was treated like nobody or even a dirt. Thus I am really disappointed with their service utterly and I think even the Singapore service standards are even better off than them. This will be my first and last time staying there and I hope there should be more room for improvements in upgrading their employees for better service standards and should undertake more foreign language to tighten communication barrier. We came from Jeonju on the train and were able to take the subway to within two blocks of the hotel and we had 12 pieces of luggage between five people. The hotel is located with 15 to 30 minutes walking to five or more Palaces & Shrines, Gyeongbokgung, Jongmyo, Changdeokgong & Changyeonggung and three shopping markets, Insadong, Myeongdong & Namdaemung […] Sijang. We were only is Seoul two days and we had great weather. The hotel was fantastic, great service. We arrived four hours before we could check in and they stored our luggage while we started sightseeing. It was a great experience. Lisez la suite

When traveling to Seoul, I look forward to staying at the Koreana. It feels like home away from home.

Rates not reflective of hotel quality. The Koreana is in need of a renovation. - Beds feel like wood boxes - Had to pay for a toothbrush (absolutely ridiculous) - Paper-thin walls

location is very very good, very near to gwanghwamun subway station exit 6, just 3 minute walking from the exit 6. near to gyeongbokgung palace, in the center town of Seoul. over all this hotel is worthed.

A great choice—it made my visit a joyful memory. It is an old hotel but has been well cared for and the housekeepers are proud of their efforts to keep it looking great. The location is outstanding! Right in the centre of the city, just ½ block to the City Hall and its square, one block from Deoksugung Palace and 50 metres to the Hop on-Hop-off bus. […] It is within walking distance to the massive Gyeongbokgung Palace and to the famous Namdaemun Market. Right across the street is the remarkable Cheonggyecheon walking course along a natural stream flowing through the city. What is also wonderful is that there are many small restaurants and coffee shops just behind the hotel for breakfast or lunch, on the small side streets. The front desk staff were very gracious and attentive with basic English. They need updating on tourist information such as the cost of taxis. It was a return stay at the Koreana and it felt like a "home away from home." Would recommend it highly.

Room: Big and spacious. Like the sofa seats that are provided where we could sit comfortably for our drinks and watch the TV programmes comfortably. Room is clean and bright though the furniture may be a little dated. Generally, I like my stay there and would like to stay there again in the future. The location is fantastic. This hotel has a very good location. It is near subway, the city tour bus is just outside the hotel where you can the the bus to go to 26 famous locations at just 10,000 won per person. It also within walking distance to namdaemun market and myeongdong shopping district. There are also many good eating places n restaurants like the famous charcoal BBQ, […] ginseng chicken soup, kimchi noodles, rice cakes n very yummy mister doughnuts, starbucks, coffee bean, etc etc... Good standard hotel for a reasonable price. Good size rooms. Beds and towels changed daily. Beware though no coffee/ milk or sugar in room but there is a kettle, when asked they said we only supply tea

Location wise very convenient to shopping and sight seeing. Even though I was there for Biz.. it was 1 station away from my work. Very polite and willing to assist on any request. I had some package deliveries and was well kept and helped for loading and unloading. Pleasure staying at Koreana....!!

Very comfortable Hotel in a great location, close to Palace, Markets and the great value City Tour Buses. Limited English of Reception and Concierge staff was a problem for me and my only other problem with this Hotel was the strange shower arrangement in the bathroom that made having a shower without flooding the bathroom very difficult.

Best location in Seoul. Not super luxurious but close to everything.

For my business travel in shipping industry it was close to many of the companies I visit, but may not be ideal for other businessmen. It is an old hotel and things are coming apart in the rooms. Two light fittings were not working and the electric plug socket came off the wall when I removed my charger plug. This hotel is showing its age, but it does have a classic Korean feel in it. The staff is very nice and helpful. It is in a great location, especially for tourism. This will become my permanent hotel in Korea and I visit about 3 times a year on visit. It is very easy to get to from the airport so no carrying heavy bags around.

The rooms are big and the location is great. Friendly staff, but their English could be a bit better.

Before falling into the trap, let me explain why we have chosen the Koreana Hotel in the first place. This hotel has lots of awesome reviews on this site and offered an excellent discount during our 4 day stay. Most of the compliments by the reviewers about this hotel are true: close to two metro stations (within 2 mins walking distance), first stop […] to get off from the Airport Limousine bus and a convenience store nearby. HOWEVER, what everyone failed to mention is about their mattress! If you are willing to experience the worst back pain ever, you should definitely choose this hotel. My husband and I had the Business Queen and we both agreed that it was the MOST uncomfortable bed in our lives. I am not exaggerating here but the mattress was defintiely as hard as a rock and the it gave you no back support whatsoever. We had even asked for 2 extra blankets and used them as a pillowtop but that didn't help much at all. The reception desk said all rooms have the same mattresses and couldn't do anything to help us solve our problem. After our first night, we actually had to spend 100,000 won for a body massage. To be honest, we would have expected a better bed in a Business Queen Room. If we knew this would happen, we would have chosen a better hotel, perhaps it would be a bit more expensive but at least it would have given us a good night rest and didn't spoil our vacation. =( Lisez la suite

ホテルマンのほとんどが日本語が通じ、どこに行くにも質問に答えてくれるので困らない。コンビニは近くにあったがやや小さめなのでどこかに出かけたついでに買ってくるといい。2階のコーヒーショップは韓国の食事もひととうりあるので夜つかれたらここで十分でした。（2回利用しました。）ベットメイキングは毎日していただけたのでとても気持ちよくねられました。お風呂だけはやや古さが目立ち臭いがして流れがわるかった。

フロントスタッフの対応が、物凄く悪かった。話し方も上から目線で客をバカにしてるような言い方。（韓国語と日本語両方共に話し方が最悪）クレジットカードをコピーするから出せとか言われて、ソウルのホテルで今まで言われたことないけど、最近はどこもそうなの？予約時にリマークスに記入したエキストラベットも用意されておらず、記入した証拠を見せろとか…。いいホテルだと思っていたが、もう二度と泊まらないと思う。ただ、ホテル入口にいるスタッフは、親切でした。

観光で利用しました。明洞から少し離れておりますので歩くと10分ほどかかりますが、最寄駅の市庁駅までは2分ほどで着きますので、地下鉄を利用する際に便利です。 またスタッフはほとんど日本語が通じましたので韓国語が話せない方にもオススメです。 ツインの部屋を3人で利用しました。水周りに少し古さを感じましたが、清潔感もあり、何より造りが広いので窮屈な感じも受けず快適に過ごすことが出来ました。 仁川空港とのリムジンバスも停まるので空港との行き来も便利です。

とても綺麗だし、部屋も広くてよかったです。 明洞までも歩ける距離でしたが、寒かったのでタクシーを活用しました。 また泊まりたいホテルです

昨年末　コリアナホテルに３泊しました。 地下鉄の駅からは５分くらいの立地で　周囲は官公庁街できれいでした。ほてるの室内は落ち着いた雰囲気で静かでしたしベッドメイキングも毎日されるので気持ちがよかったです。残念なのはフロントのスタッフが愛想がよくなく不親切に感じたことです。 初めての韓国旅行だったのでもう少し親切に案内してもらえたらよかったかなと思いました。 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　alohaK.

コリアナホテルは近い地下鉄の駅で入り口から3分程度離れています。おすすめは空港鉄道でソウル駅まで行き、そこからタクシーに乗って行く方法です。 タクシーは空港鉄道側出口近くのタクシー乗り場はタクシー台数が少ないですが、タイミングがよければ、すぐに乗れます。Lotte Mallがある方の出入り口の方がタクシー台数が多いですが、ちょっと遠い点とコリアナホテルがある方面と逆向きなので、時間もお金もかかるかもしれません。 私は空港鉄道の近くの出入り口から一般タクシーに乗りましたが、3200ウォンと安かったです。

暖房がききする以外は　よかったです。

明洞に近くて便利はいいんだけど、大通りを地下道を探して渡らないといけないのが面倒だし、距離の割に時間が掛かって遠くに感じた。 同僚と異なるフロアーになったが、エレベーターがカードキーを持っている客室フロアー以外ボタンを押せない様になっていたため、部屋で打ち合わせの度に一旦ロビーで落ち合って、どちらかの部屋に行く必要があった。セキュリティーがしっかりしているのかもしれないが、フロアーの違う複数人が乗った際、それぞれがカードを出してボタンを押さないといけないのは相当不便。 また、WIFIが普及して来ている最近には珍しく、部屋のインターネットが有線でしかアクセスできない（有線を無線に換えるアクセスポイントも役に立たない）ため、スマートフォンを活用しているビジネスマンにとっては辛い。　部屋自体はゴー […] ジャスで清潔感があって良かったけど、また利用するかと訊かれると、たぶん他を探すと思う。 Lisez la suite

近くに免税店があり、また景福宮、北村などの観光スポットも近い、ミョンドンもあるける距離。　また宿泊料金も妥当。ツインの部屋がセミダブルと標準シングルで、熟年夫婦にはよい。 ツアーでなくとも家族で観光目的で行くにはおすすめのホテル 英語、日本語OK、エントランスロビーが少し落ち着かないが従業員もきびきびしていた。 また利用します。

まずまずのホテルです。　設備は古いとかで心配でしたが、問題はありませんでした。　日本語の対応などは、十分です。　ただし、入り口は歩道に面していて、一般的なホテルのエントランス用の通路がありません。　雨などが降った場合は、タクシーを降りた後、入り口までダッシュが必要です。
