"Weekend away from home"
Very nice hotel, excellent sevice staff. But. . . .close to the freeway. Even sitting at poolside, hard to have a normal conversation due to freeway noise.
"Convenient if you are moving around"
Very good location, comfortable and clean. Hotel personnel is not that friendly but ok. Breakfast had an upgrade of $5 dollars which I didn't like it, and didn't think was worth it. It should be a one size fits all.
"close to the airport"
a good place where to stay for a little time, next to shops the airport, with shuttle to the harbor and some other locations.
breakfast poor, toasters didnt work not much selection hotel seemed shabby blankets had burn marks and holes would not stay again

"Days in seaworld"
Parking is horrible. Space is about big enough for a smart car and nothing else. We were woke up in the middle of the night to move our car because we were taking up 1and a half spaces. Everytime the maids came in the room they never left clean towels or coffee and creamer for the next day. We always had to go ask for it and you have to pay 6 dollars […] for continental breakfast. It is extremely noisy there. Would not recommend. While in the shower the water completely shut off for over 20 minutes. TV was in Spanish. Lisez la suite
"Great stay for a good price"
This hotel was a perfect stay for my family of four on our Sea World/San Diego visit. It was clean and had great customer service. The morning breakfast was good and the eating area was clean. The hotel is also close to major stores and site seeing attractions. I would definately stay there again.
"Awful hotel!!"
This hotel is filthy. The surrounding area is not a very good area with drunks and homeless people hanging around the hotel. Also, the constant noise from the airport is just annoying. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody! A totally let down :(

"Airport Service, Days Inn Seaworld"
They say they have airport service, this is not quite true, only from the hotel to airport and not until 6 am and not after 4 pm.. very miss leading after $43.00 in Taxi fares.
"days in sea world san diego ca"
I understood there would have been shuttle service from the airport. They refused our call, took a taxi. Suppose to have two 2 bed suites. ended up with one bed each. Stool in room 345 was plugged up for a day and one half.
this is really a motel in a very run down neighborhood, but it is less then 10 minutes from the beach & sea world.

"just ok"
only one trash can for the bathroom and the whole room. very small parking spaces. airplane noise, breakfast was ok. carpet was dirty. no kids channels. located next to lots of stores.free shuttle to airport and sea world saved us alot of money. be ready to see the homeless and lots of 18-25 year olds.

"Days Inn - Seaworld"
good location. comfortable. The elevator was rickety.
Hotel was super mold-smelling, lumpy comforter.
"Good hotel"
A little noisy but for the money, well worth the one night we stayed.
"Good for the price"
The Hotel was actually clean. The continental breakfast was ok. The decaf coffee was broken all 4 days we were there. There were a lot of sweets (in various partially frozen states and only scrambled eggs as a protein. The parking was a little difficult (small parking spaces and if you have anything but a compact car, hard to get in/out of parking spaces. […] Became really problematic when guests didn't park between the lines - hardly the hotel's fault). Considering parking downtown can be expensive it's ok. Would definitely stay here again because of price and location. Lisez la suite
There were alot of homeless people near the hotel. Also there were many people walking through the courtyard as the back gate was left open for solicitors. The TV in the room was snowy and didn't play well for viewing. Online pictures were deceiving!!!! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you~

You need to put new beds in room 134. Other wise everything was great.
"Not for families...do not stay here"
I usually don't write reviews but decided on this one I would hopefully saving another families vacation. I booked this hotel almost 2 months in advance for our families 3 day trip to seaworld because it was inexpensive and close to seaworld. Plus it had a continental breakfast that based on the reviews sounded decent. Pulling up to the hotel there […] were homeless people asleep on the sidewalks and every other business surrounding it was either a strip club or liquor store. The lady that checked us in was friendly although she informed us that the continental breakfast was free unless you wanted eggs and pancakes then it was 5.99 a person. She showed us on a map where our room was which was across a street that,is basically an alley. Once we got to our room it was decent clean but not nice by any means. Our balcony looked out over another alley and an apartment building that looked like it was possibly low income housing. Also they gave us the room the second story right next to the stairs. So all night we could hear people going up and down. the banging of the stairs even shook the head boards. if thats the room you get booking that far on advance I would hate to see what you get if you don't. All day until about 9pm there are businesses/ restaurants that slide menus and other papers through the door which is loud and scary for kids. The outlets for the coffee pot and blow dryer kept shorting out, the room had spiders in it, our baby ended up getting sick and threw up on the bed so my husband called and asked for fresh linens, which didn't show up until an hour and a half later. The free part of the breakfast was stale fruit loops and stale mini bagels and mini muffins. With coffee and juice in cups a little bigger then a shot class. Horrible experience will never stay again and hope other moms read this and keep their families away. Lisez la suite
"wasn't too bad"
We arrived at the hotel lobby at about 11PM. The person at the front counter wasn't necessarily rude, but wasn't friendly either. Parking on the weekend wasn't easy. The room was pretty nice. It had a desk and a nice lounge chair and a TV. When we walked in there were advertisements scattered on the ground. There is HBO! There are two parts of the […] hotel. Theres the rooms next t the lobby, then there are the suites across the street. Also across the street is the pool and the breakfast. The free breakfast is all you can eat toast. There is also an option that costs a little extra next to that where they'll make you pancakes and eggs. On the second day our key stopped working. We were in the pool just before, so I didn't have any I.D., but they were nice enough to ask my name and give me a new key. It's about 5 miles from the Zoo (very easy drive up the 8 freeway) and not too far from SeaWorld. It's an option if hotel circle is too expensive. Also theres a really nice mexican food restaurant next door that the hotel endorses. Lisez la suite

"Nice"
Has ref, micro wave, but no coffee maker as advertised. I have stayed there 3 times and had to ask for a coffee maker each time.
liked the room was completely satisfied. very nice but area kind of guottoeish. overall satisfied and would stay there again.
"great location for vacation"
terrific continental breakfast, clean, respectful staff.near to sea world, zoo, beaches and shopping.price is a value!
"cheap hotel, but poor"
hotel very poor, old rooms, nor so clean, very rude service. A lot of noise inside the room (the a.c. machine, even if turn off) Do not go!
"lots of strip clubs"
You get what you pay for, it was a nice place but security didn't do anything to shut down the party that went on till 1 am and the weed smoke me and my family was smelling the next morning my advise pay more for a better place

"Days Inn SeaWorld"
We chose the hotel because it was close to the airport, and offered a shuttle service. It does have a shuttle, but the desk staff claimed that it didn't run until 11am. We ended up taking a cab to the airport. Other than that, the hotel was fine.

i had some meds stolen from my room plus the first day we had to complain about no fresh towles left in our room the second day no towles left in our second room i would not stay there again nor would i recomend anyone else to stay ther either the front desk did not show much concern either only to say he would contact the mgr of housekeeping
"Days Inn Seaworld"
Check in was a breeze we were 3 hours early but there was a room available so they let us go up. Thank goodness since we werent able to get a rental and would have had to just hang out in the lobby until. They said the room was ready but when we got upstairs one of the beds bedding wasnt completely fixed although it looked like it had been started just […] not completed. We just slept in the one that had been definitely fixed or not used and took a chance it worked out. One thing I didnt like was that our room was located in the second lot away from the lobby area and I was traveling with only myself and my young daughter so at night that made me a little nervous coming in and going out but it was ok. There is a shopping center down the way with a Chuck E Cheese for some kid fun if you're just needing something to do before or after your main attractions. They have a shuttle that will take you where you'd like to go within reasonable distance. I do have to say this was THEE BEST breakfast I've ever encountered staying at a hotel. They actually offered eggs and pancakes in addition to the usual pastries and muffins and toast, etc. And the lady was even nice enough to tell me to come back for seconds if I liked. Overall it was a good trip. There is a Walgreens 5 steps away and a CVS across the street....although they arent very good for souvenirs. Hotel staff was very nice and accomodating. We'd definitely stay here again. Lisez la suite
