"budget friendly"
My room had everything I needed a refrigerator, microwave, a bathhroom, and bed. It was very cleean and affordable.

There is not any wow factor with this hotel but you get a clean room to relax in and spend the night in at a resonable rate.

I wish I would have gone with the hotel chain directly because then I could've got refunded for our stay. We had to change rooms because the first one smelled so badly and the second room had a previous guest's leftover food still in it. There were also other "guests" in our room-the plastic lining of the cups had dead bugs in them...Keep looking for […] a different place. "Days Inn Eau Claire Campus - just the basics"
I planned a one night stay to see my daughter at UW-Eau Claire. On the plus side: It was close and inexpensive. The continental breakfast was bare-bones, but adequate. It was pretty quiet. On the minus side: The bed comforter was visibly unclean and the bed was not terribly comfortable, but adequate. For an overnight stay, it was fine. "Good For the Price"
For a budget hotel, we had a nice experience. They had a clean room, free internet in the lobby and restaurants and shopping in the area.

The saying it only needs to happen once is clearly the case here. The room was partially cleaned, there were receipts from the previous occupants. There were opened food and drink containers in the refigerator. And there were used towels left hanging in the bathroom. Since I checked in at 11:30 pm, it was not because we rushed the hotel staff. Cheap, clean and friendly.
"Not what they used to be."
We have always stayed at a Days inn, But lately they all seem to be going down hill. After we got the room cooled down it was still very hummid in there. My daughter got a room with a none working ac unit. The night mgr was very difficult to work with. My daughter was asked to leave cause she calling the front desk about the ac not working. we checked […] out the next day. I think when you travel 9hrs and you are tired and need to rest and regaurdless what type of hotel/motel you stay at the guest should be treated with respect, this just was not the case. "Good Value - poor room maintenance"
It was reasonable. They needed to empty the garbage in the breakfast area more frequently, also to replace room essentials; for coffee maker-condiments, drinkings cups, soaps for several day stays. Otherwise the staff at the check-in desk was polite etc. Nothing fancy, but it suited my purpose.

Friendly people, easy location, clean and nice rooms. Simple. Nothing fancy, but nothing that was concerning. Worked out well for us.
I heard a lot of yelling and door slamming at all hours. I could hear people talking outside and I was on the 2nd floor. Slept very poorly. On its own the room was fine but I think next time I will spend a little more money somewhere else. Hopefully it will buy a little better class of fellow patrons.

We found the hotel at a great price. All we needed was a clean place to stay for the night. It was very clean and easy access to our room. The television at a multitude of channels for our choices. They had a nice continental breakfast as well. We will definitely chose Days Inn again.

we picked this hotel as a place on route to somewhere else. for an overnight stay it was perfect. clean and quiet and friendly staff. and soooo cheap !

Continental breakfast bare minimum; toilet almost overflowed and had obviously been 'reamed' before (snake marks); AC did not work (80 degree day); late night guest noises; On the plus side, the pillow's multiple grades of firmness was a nice touch; room was clean.

False Fire alarm at 12:30 am. Wendys food wrappers in dresser drawers. Stained bed Spreads. Smelled like a nursing home.
"Cold Showers"
Overall it was a good stay - right up to the time I wanted to take a shower in the morning. Nothing better to start the day than a COLD shower. A phone call to the front desk asking if there was a problem netted the answer that there was no problem, just that many people showering and there may or may not be hot water by check-out time. Check out time […] is noon and this was 8:30am. Maybe that is their way of cutting down the number of people who take advantage of their complimentary breakfast. "Economical and convenient"
Decent hotel and a great value. Walking distance to everything you need. Nothing fancy but a good place to stay near the university. I've already booked another stay! If you just want a basic no-frills room, this is the place.

We were there for three nights and we are almost certain the maid didn't vacuum the room after the first night. They did after that. The bed was a little stiff.

I guess there was a mix up on Hotels.com and the Days Inn. I had requested for a non-smoking room, and had received a SMOKING ROOM!! When I went back to the service desk, they were not going to do anything for me unless I had proof that a non-smoking room was originally what I asked for. The walls were thin and the rooms were smaller than I had expected, but we never stayed long in our room. It's your basic cheapy place to stay.
