The service was excellent. The room was not real clean. The person before me had left some hair items on a chair and they were still there. There was also sticky left over food products on night stand. So this comes down to the housekeeping service that day. The staff was incredibly nice and responsive. Excellent service in the restaurant.

The hotel was better than expected and parking for free was a welcome change from the usual. If you are traveling from LA to Anaheim it is a perfect location.

I travel often for business and this hotel needs much better maintenance and service. The restaurant service was excellent but the hotel itself needs some improvement. The water in the shower had inconsistent temps, the heating/cooling was inconsistent, and the maid service was inconsistent. I was very satisfied with my stay at The Doubletree Hotel in Norwalk, LA Beautiful hotel and very nice staff. The rooms were very clean, room service was great and the bar is nice. The bartender, Kim had a great welcoming personality.

Unsatisfactory for Doubletree. Top sheet placed on bed with holes in it. Several days there was no hot water for showers.

This is my 3rd stay in 6 months and while my 2nd stay had a major problem. The comfort of the rooms and proximity to I-5 had me coming back. My stay was very enjoyable, rooms are so comfortable. Ans this time management apologized for the problem I encountered during my October stay. Will stay here again!!

The staff were very nice and helpful. We rented a few rooms for a couple of nights. There are some restaurants within walking distance if not dining in the one downstairs. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the area quite. Had a great nights sleep.

Picked hotel online. Everything as published. Staff we very friendly and helpful and would recommend hotel. Breakfast was REAL food and not the usual 'included' fare. Nice surprise. Happy hour a nice touch.

The hotel provided prompt service whenever requested. The room was sufficiently supplied and comfortable. The only issue was the fact that the hotel kept the heater on for the building the entire night which made us wake up in the middle of the night to gulp water to soothe our dry throats for the entire 4 nights we were there. Check in was easy and the desk personnel were very helpful. The room was clean and housekeeping was very attentive and responsive when we needed some items. Overall it was a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel. Would stay here again.

The hotel is very nice and clean. Conviniently located to restaurants and theater. The hotel room can be noisy if your room is facing the freeway. The restaurant was busy for hotel guest for breakfast and the staff were stretch thin to help out about 50 people waiting in the lobby to be seated. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here in two months. My son is at a nearby college and while it's not the closest hotel to the college, I like the size and comfort of the rooms and feel it is worth the extra distance. Unfortunately, this time there was a very small, but actually huge problem. Housekeeping neglected to clean the bathroom thoroughly and […] when we arrived there was set of towels a toiletry item missing, but the the worst thing was the bits of used toilet paper and feces on the toilet seat! That was totally unacceptable! We called the front desk and house keeping did come right away to clean it, but ick!. All we got for the disgusting surprise was a canned apology from the front desk and a more sincere one from the housekeeper who cleaned it up. She also brought us a few warm chocolate cookies, but I think the front desk should have done more. I've stayed at better and lesser hotels and have never had this type of experience. Another thing; they advertise that they have microwaves and refrigerators available, but they do not have enough for the demand and even calling ahead, and then asking several times during my stay, I did not get them for use. I had thought this would be my "go to" hotel whenever I visit my son at college, but now, I'm shopping around for another. Lisez la suite

Excellent staff and service. Hotel is a bit old but it's comfortable with plenty of parking and decent amenities. Good price. Close enough to the major stays for LA and OC area.

This hotel was very nice and comfortable, I felt right at home. Service was very good!

The staff is friendly and very helpful. However, the room had no refrigerator, despite being an "executive" suite. The shower leaked into the bedroom area and the air conditioner leaked water onto the carpet. Add to that 1) high extra person charge, 2) charging daily for each device connected to WiFi Internet, and no 3) complimentary breakfast (full […] restaurant - expensive too) and this Hilton facility quickly loses its charm. I'll never stay here again, because I can't afford the extra charges. Instead, I'll stay at a cheaper, less elegant hotel that offers amenities at no extra charge. Lisez la suite

This hotel was great! It was very clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the staff was extrememly friendly!! The hotel is coveneiently located right next to an AMC theatre and an Outback restaurant...in case you want to step out for dinner and a movie. The stay at this hotel was really nice. The staff was very helpful with everything.

I'd reserved a room with a double bed and had called the night before our arrival to request a refrigerator and microwave, which they said they'd note, but couldn't promise. When we arrived we were put into a room with a Qn bed and sleeper sofa. We were told that the hotel was full and the only other room had the same configuration. We moved anyway […] as the first room was right by the ice machine. My 6'2" son slept diagonally on the sofa bed. It was even too short for me (5'9") to sleep straight on. We asked for the fridge and microwave but were told that there were none available and they couoldn't promise for the next day. However they did state that several rooms were checking out the next day and they offered to move us to a room with 2 double beds then. The next day we were settled in so declined the room change though did ask again for the microwave and refrigerator and mentioned that surely they'd have one since several rooms were vacating. When we returned to our room in the evening the micro and fridge were there. In this case it paid to be persistent (and polite). We were very pleased with our stay though we did stay away from the pool- way too small for a hotel that size- it was over run with little kids. Oh and the restaurant needed more help for buffet breakfast. At 9AM every single vacant table was dirty and there was only one floor staff cleaning up, seating customers and taking drink orders. We were very comfortable,and my husband enjoyed the cookies they gave us when we registered...We will definately come again!!!

Area was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Our room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and the welcoming cookies were delicious!

I loved this hotel and it has now set the standard for any future hotel that I stay in. The kids really enjoyed the goldfish pond in the lobby. They were able to stand on blocks in the water to get a closer view of the fish. Unfortunatly, hotel staff closed it down by puting wet floor signs on the blocks around 830pm and didn't open it up by 12pm the […] next morning, but it was nice while we able to use it. The price of my room was AWESOME and we got free breakfast coupons which really helped sealed th deal. I liked the set up of our room. I felt like we were in a small apt and it was nice because the 1 year old could run around and play and the 9 year old was able to go into the other room and watch the second tv to relax. This is now our third visit to this hotel and it never ceases to please. It provides great service, clean comfortable rooms at a great rate and has a wonderful breakfast buffet(although not included in room rate it is work enjoying). We stayed here for our son's graduation from Whittier College and this location although about 16 miles from Whittier […] works out well. Lisez la suite

Good hotel but neighbors were too loud. I had to call front desk twice ( once at 12:30 and again at 3:00 for loud music). Walls are very thin so you can hear the conversation of the next room. All in all, a good hotel.

This hotel was perfect. We had come to visit our children who are in school at Whittier College and UCLA and this hotel is welcoming and comfortable and affordable. The neighborhood around the hotel offers AMC movie theatre and a starbucks for those who like a strong morning coffee. The staff at this hotel could not be more helpful and they are so helpful. […] The hotel also has a breakfast buffet and then offers a lunch buffet and room service. I had to check in around 3:20 a.m. I found the front desk unattended. There was no note or sign stating they were busy or will be right back. I was knocking on doors, calling numbers I found on a list. No one would answer. After waiting 40 min before the employee came to the desk, I was able to finally check in.
