"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel"

Room for a single is the size of a glorified closet, very small for the price one has to pay (guess its the location you're really paying for). All employees were very nice, helpful.
"Used to be a nice hotel"
This used to be a great hotel (free internet, awesome breakfast, good service). Lately I always have to wait for 20 minutes to check in, but the bigger problem is the crossrail construction at bond street which is right outside the window and it is always noisy now.
"Fantastic location BUT we will not be returning!"
The location is fantastic and the rooms and breakfast were nice, but we will unforthunately not be returning. As a Radisson hotel it is expected to have a certain standard of costumer service and the service here was extremely poor. No "hello"s or "good morning"s (well, the maids were really nice though!), no opening of doors, a very unpolite welcome […] when we arrived and they had not registered that we wanted two separate beds. We also had difficulties to be able to use the refridgerator at the room for my moms medicine, it was locked twice from the reception and they were very unpolite when we had to ask for them to open it up. So many little things that made the stay unpleasant when it could have been so good. We were very disappointed with our stay here. Lisez la suite
"Great Location for shopping"
This hotel is right on Oxford Street, one of the best shopping areas in all of London, and it is directly across the street from the Bond Street tube stop (and about a 5 minute walk to the Oxford Street stop). If you love shopping, this is the place for you. That said... if you don't love shopping, you should know that the street gets VERY busy with […] shoppers, especially on the weekends, and most of the shoppers are tourists. Furthermore, the shops are mostly mid-range (a lot of national and international chains), which could either be a pro or a con, depending on your preferences. Personally, I'm not much of a shopper, so I generally just forced my way through the crowds to the tube stop (I would have stayed in South Kensington, but wasn't able to find a hotel for the dates I needed). I had a couple of meals through the hotel -- the breakfast in the hotel restaurant was fine, though nothing to write home about, but the dinner I had via room service was actually pretty good. I generally prefer to stay in boutique hotels, but have found that to be nearly impossible to do when traveling in London due to high cost and so I usually stay in larger hotels/chains. The room (queen size bed) was a bit petite, but I found it to be more than adequate for my needs. If you're looking for something grand, however, this might not fit the bill. Lisez la suite
"Great value."
Fine hotell, nice location
"Radisson Oxford St."
Great location if you are planning on shopping. if you prefer the window open whilst you sleep - dont, lots of noise from party people in the early hours. good hotel, service and food.
"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel, London"
A very pleasant stay at the weekend. Staff very helpful, breakfast excellent and an ideal location for Oxford Street shopping and the surrounding attractions. The room was lovely although a bit chilly on the very cold evenings. I will definately stay there on my next visit to London.
"Perfect Location !!"
We had the best stay on this hotell. Perfect location, good service, nice rooms and good breakfast!
"Hotel worth trying"
My wife and I enjoyed our 3 night stay at this small, clean and very family like run hotel in the heart of London. Very convenient location. Excellent food and service. We would however have appreciated a slightly more spacious room. We will return.

"Excellent location, Excellent Service"
The location is excellent. Right on Oxford street, on top of Disney shop, across the Bond Street station. Many shops are within 2-3 minutes walk (Selfridges, New Bond Steet, Regent Street, etc.). Room was very clean, service is excellent, personnel friendly. Room just the right size: not large, not small. All room amenities available: free wireless, […] coffee in the room, iron, hairdryer, large safe box, ... Highly recommend it Lisez la suite

"Raddison Edwardian Oxford Street"
Excellent location on Oxford Street - close to tube, great restaurants and of course shopping!!! We stayed for 2 night stopover and were able to easily explore the sights of London!
"fine value"
Rooms are small, a bit cramped, as is the hotel overall, but completely renovated, clean and functional. Great location. Internet in room works and is free. Very good value if you don't plan to spend much time in the room.

"Superb location!!"
So convenient!! comfy for double room. bathtbup would be better if the partition is fully covered...
"uncomfy bed!!"
i've stayed at the radisson edwardian berkshire many times before and never had i experienced any discomfort. however, the room we got this time, the a/c was super loud, and it didnt feel like it really worked, just blowing air i guess. and the mattresses were horendous! without anyone sitting in it you can see a concaving curve in the middle, now imagine […] sleeping on that. horrible!! when i mentioned this to the reception lady, she actually told me more than one person has complained about the mattress and it was up to the manager to decide if they should change them. well, if you are reading this review manager, i really think you should... for a hotel of this caliber, how can the beds be uncomfy??? "Very small room"
Hotel's location is perfect. You can very very close to the Bond Street and Regent Street is 5 minutes walk. Radisson Edwardian style may not satisfy if you feel more comfortable in modern furnitures and larger rooms like us. Reception area is very small so you dont feel that you have come to a big-luxury hotel. Our room was so small and we requested […] an upgrade from the reception ( actually we paid for 7 heads in advance but we were 5 heads because of cancellations ) but they offered free breakfast instead. It was valuable but we certainly stay at a better room. Lisez la suite

"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire is a hidden treasure"
This hotel is in the heart of London's downtown. A taxi cab from Paddington will cost you less than GBP10. It is off Oxford Street, between Oxford Circus and the Marble Arch. Next to Debenham Dept. Store. I mean, you cannot be any closer to everything than this! Two tube (Underground) stations are within steps: the Bond Street (literarily in front […] of the hotel) and Oxford Circus. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this hotel, from its personnel to the rooms, everything was perfect during our stay. They all showed great hospitality and willingness to help out with directions, tour information, recommendations for food, etc. They were all awesome! The English Breakfast was fantastic and afternoon "high" tea very special. Thanks to all there from Reception to Restaurant and Snack bar who made us feel at home! Just note that Oxford street is under construction. If you are going there anytime soon, there will be delays for transportation getting in. Try to use the public underground transport as much possible to access the street. Lisez la suite
"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel"
This hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. Extremely well located in the center of Oxford Street, it provides a wonderful service and a great feel of hospitality. The quality/price ratio is great. If you really want to discover London and mainly do some shopping, it will be the perfect place for you.
"My stay in Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel-July"
My wife and I spent 5 days in Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel. In general, the prices of Hotel rooms in London are prohibitive especially at that time of the year. The Radisson is a 4 stars hotel that charges similar prices that other hotels of this category. Specifically, the Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel is a relatively small hotel located […] on Oxford street. I can say that this is an excelllent Hotel, situated in the best location. The service of the personal of the hotel at the reception, restaurant and wherever was excellent. They were very polite, courteous, and helpful. The Hotel is very clean. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed very much our stay there. I warmly recommend it. Lisez la suite
The room was a bit small for two people (standard double room). The room was too warm and the airconditioning was very noisy! Had to turn it of and open the window and get the noise from the street instead. Book room early, we paid too much...
"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Oxford St gt location"
After an initial mix up with the room - I requested a twin & was told I was in a double (with my mum!!!). I requested they change this and happily they did to two single rooms at no extra cost. I was very happy with the hotel location, cleanliness & exceptional staff. However, the only problem I had was how hot the rooms were. The air-conditioning is […] totally inadequate, even after I complained about how hot it was, everything that could be done made no difference at all. Plus other guests mentioned they had the same problem too. This would be the only reason I would not stay there again, which is such a shame because it is otherwise a great hotel. Lisez la suite
"London In the Action!"
We stayed at the Radisson Edwardian Bershire on Oxford Street in London and I can truly say it was a great choice. I say this for a number of reasons the most obvious being location, location ,location. This hotel is located across the road from the Bond St. tube station which is on the Central line or the Jubilie line. You can get anywhere easily on […] either of these lines and only one stop away from the Piccadilly line which gets you to and from Heathrow. Apart from the easy tube access there are a number of buses along Oxford to take you to your destinations as well. The best thing of all is that from this hotel you can walk to almost anything you read about when you want to tour London and sightsee! We did not eat at the hotel but they do have restaurants but being where we were we were surrounded by a pleathora of eateries. Shopping...crazy. Just outside the door of the hotel is Debemans which is a very good department store and a couple of minutes up the road is Selfridges. New Bond Street and Oxford itself are shopping mecca's...bring your wallet. The theatre district is a 10 minute walk. Now that you understand what is outside let's discuss the hotel itself. The lobby is nothing to talk about and neither are the elevator's but once you get into your room you will be smiling. The bathroom is totally modern and a good size with a lovely shower, fluffy towels and wonderful smelling soap. The room was fairly large with a strange lounge chair, a table with 2 other chairs, a king size bed and a small Bang and Olefsun TV. The lounge chair should go and be replaced with a more comfortable loveseat and the TV could be bigger by todays standards. The mattress could have been better but on the second night it seemed great. There was lots of closet space, and 3 windows which opened so you could let fresh air in. There was construction going on outside as the Disney store will be opening soon on Oxford at the front of the hotel but at no time did any of the constuction noi Lisez la suite
Good quality hotel in very convenient location.
"Radisson Edwardian Hotel - London"
Overall, this is a very clean, well kept and managed hotel with good staff. But, the rooms are quite small and I was put in a room that the hotel staff knew had a broken air conditioning unit. Unfortunately, it was surprisingly hot for the season. Their initial accomodation was to open a window and give me a fan, but then after 2 nights, they moved […] me to and upgraded room for no extra charge. Lisez la suite
"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire hotel"
Charming hotel located in Oxford street. Great staff, great rooms and even greater breakfast. If you Are planning to shop, this hotel has the best location. 3 min walk to Regent Street with loads of shops. Nice restaurants in the area.
"Radisson Ewardian in London"
Everything about this hotel was great! Me and my daughter stayed there for 3 nights and we will definetly stay there again when we are in London. The only thing that I can complain about is that the breakfast is a bit expencive. So we went to S:t Christoffers place which is very close to the hotel and had breakfast there for much less money.
"The Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel"
The hotel is in an excellent location, across the road from Bond Street tube station and in the middle of Oxford Street. There is a significant amount of construction work going on around the hotel, which made it a little difficult to locate the hotel as there is hoarding in front of the building along Oxford Street, however I was not disturbed by the […] building works at all and once I was in my room I didn't hear any construction noise. The reception staff were very helpful and we could leave our baggage there while we went shopping on the day we checked out. The location is second to none, and for the price I paid I felt I got very good value. I had a single room and the bed was a reasonable size, I would say a queen size bed. The room was not particularly big, however I felt it was a decent size for a single room in as central a location as the hotel is. The bathroom was also compact however fully functional. Overall excellent value for a lovely hotel in such a central location. Lisez la suite

Staff exceptionally courteous and efficient. Great location convenient for business ( direct 20 min tube to canary wharf and 30 seconds walk to Oxford street 2 min walk to new bond street ) rooms small go for one size above basic you'll be happy. Great room and breakfast service. this was my second stay. First was not great. After I gave it not good […] review manager called me to apologise and promise if I gave another chance it would be better. HE DELIVERED so will definitely be back. "Perfect location on Oxford st- Very helpful staff"
Great location-just opposite Bond St Station Comfortable clean rooms Very good hotel for business traveler Very helpful staff Highly recommended
"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire - shopping paradise"
I chose this hotel because of its position in the heart of Oxford Street and everything about the hotel was perfect except for the emergency services' sirens which woke me periodically during the night which was of course no fault of the hotel's. I did have a problem finding the place as it's covered by a blue boarding at the moment. I heartily recommend […] this hotel to any shopaholics like me. Lisez la suite
"Nice hotel"
Nice hotel very conveniently located. Directly opposite Bond St tube station. Will stay there again.
"Radisson Edwardian Oxford Street London"
Got a flight from Belfast to Heathrow and then the Piccadilly tube with only one change at Green Park to get to Bond St Station. The Hotel is just across the road off Oxford Street at the side of Debenhams. Very central for shopping as in the middle of Oxford Street. Also walked down New Bond Street - designer shops were gorgeous - this led us to Piccadilly […] Circus and Leicester Square. Rooms were 'compact' but very clean and decor was lovely. Bathroom had marble tile on walls and granite tops- really nice. Paid for B&B up front with room. Food very nice - usual choice, eggs, bacon sausage etc. Reception staff were very nice and obliging. Even printed out our Boarding passes for our return journey. Would definately stay again. Lisez la suite
"Outstanding value!"
Clean, comfortable, great location, nice staff. Rooms are a bit small, but great value! I would stay there again!
"Quality on Oxford Street"
Not expensive, perfect (for me) location, really clean (although small) room. Some good english breakfast included. Deposit for european electricity adaptor was unreasonably high (10 pounds, while it costs lower than 5), but this does not really matter in general. Service people were friendly and helpful. Thank you. Bond street station is a couple […] of steps away. Regent, New Bond, Piccadilli streets are very close as well. Everything a tourist may need in London. Lisez la suite
The Radisson Edwardian Berkshire is in an excellent location for shopping in London. My single room, although small was comfortable, clean and quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel staff were friendly, courteous and responsive.
"Fantastic location and amazing value"
I'm a Londoner now living in the US so I feel well qualified to give both perspectives on this hotel. I used to walk past this hotel every day on my way to work - it really is in an incredible location and yet not noisy at all (admittedly I stayed on a Sunday night and my room was on the 5th floor and at the back away from Oxford St). The hotel offers […] amazing value for money - modern & clean. I booked a single room, and whilst the room itself was very small (you have to remember that this is London where space is a rare commodity), it was exceptionally well equipped with everything I would need and more, incl an iron & ironing board, hairdryer and decent toiletries in the bathroom. The bed was actually pretty comfortable and there was a B&O TV which was quite an extravagance but very welcome. They even have an electric socket outlet for US plugs which is great if you've forgotten to pack an adaptor. Didn't use the restaurant or bar since I lived around the corner for 6 years - it's a very short stroll to the delights of Marylebone High Street where there are amazing restaurants, shops and deli's - in fact you need not even go onto Oxford Street unless you're desperate for big store shopping. The staff were great at the hotel. This would be my first choice of hotel if I have to stay in town again. Lisez la suite

"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire Hotel"
Very centrally located in the West End of London at the top of Bond Street on Oxford Street, convenient to theatreland and art galleries Good value for such a centrally located London hotel. Staff very courteous and efficient In spite of its location I did not find it noisy, and I was there over a weekend
"Radisson Edwardian Berkshire"
Had read previous reviews so prepared for small room size-actually perfectly adequate for my needs, spotless, comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Staff all very attentive and polite (even housekeeping staff) Breakfast good, no queues as mentioned in previous review, think that had to do with timing.
"It was generally 'ok' but you don't get a lot of space!"
I stayed for one night, the room was comfortable and clean but relatively small. There were no tea of coffee making facilities but the bathroom did have basic toiletries such as shampoo and soap. For a hotel at the heart of London's West End (it's just opposite Bond Street tube station) outside noise was surprisingly low however much the same cannot […] be said for the inside as the fire alarm sounded in the very early hours. Would I stay again? 'Probably' but I'd want a larger room and some additional 'freebies'! Lisez la suite
