We were extremely pleased with our stay at the Double Tree by Hilton Jackson. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds most comfortable. The location of the hotel offered many restaurants near by. We would definitely stay here again.

"Doubletree ... Double great!!!"
My wife and I stayed a weekend at the Doubletree in Jackson Tn. Rooms were definitely for the traveler. Not extremely spacious but economically friendly. The shower was magnificent and the beds were huge and very comfortable . Of course the cookie that you get upon check in was fabulous!!! Enjoyed it...will surely do it again!!!

"NO HOT WATER AND NO GOOD ANSWERS"
Our room had no hot water. When we called the desk to report it, we were told that this sometimes happens when a lot of people are taking showers at once. Bizarre answer. We asked for and were given another room, and the hot water was fine in it. I graded the hotel down on cleanliness because the carpets weren't clean next to baseboards--really dusty. "Room Air Conditioning"
The air conditioning in the room didn't work properly. I called the front desk and was given a fan to blow the air around. We couldn't sleep as comfortably as we would have liked. With my job I stay at a lot of Doubletree Hotels and have never had any problems at a Doubletree until this.

"Great room and location"
Great and spacious room. When we arrived, we were given warm chocolate chip cookies. Location is only a mile away from the Casey Jones museum. While we didnt have plans to visit there, we did, and it was an interesting stop along the way!

Nice hotel. Rooms very nice and clean. I will definitely stay there again. Waited on staff for slightly over ten minutes to check in at front desk. Only one person available and she was on the phone. Never acknowledged me. Never apologized for the wait.

"Not what we were expecting!!!!"
I found bugs in the room and under the bed. The clerk at the desk did not seem surprised. Hotels.com was easy to work with when requesting a refund due to cleanliness issues. We were disappointed in what we thought was a more reputable hotel.
Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and professional..Food at restaurant in the hotel was excellent..

The hotel was great but the best part was the restaurant!!! Twist was wonderful. The food was great and our waitress was one of the sweetest people I have ever met. My husband and I were there for our 15th anniversary but I promise we will be back before summer ends.

My husband and I were on a weekend trip through Tennesse trying to hit a few sites we had never seen before (parts of Mississippi too). Decided to stay over night in Jackson. The hotel was great, very comfy, staff was extremely helpful and checkin was a breeze. The hotel is located in a great area. My stay here was wonderful. It started with warm cookies that were delicious at check-in. The hallways smelled very clean and there were many employees working to keep it that way. The room was just as expected: clean and comfortable. I expected an LCD tv in the room but unfortunately that wasnt the case. The room also didnt have a microwave which wouldve […] come in handy. But the bed was very soft. The pool was clean and warm even though it is a mix between indoor/outdoor and it was very cold out. The hot tub was hot but the jets didnt work...wife didnt like that. But overall, this is the hotel I want to stay at when I come to Jackson. Oh I almost forgot...the restaurant is incredible. I highly recommend the pork chops. I have never had one so juicy and flavorful without being oversalted. And the sweet potatoe that came with it was delicious as well. Lisez la suite

Very nice hotel; I think the best in Jackson by far. I stay in Jackson often on business and won't stay anywhere else. It is well worth the price, which is very reasonable.
"The DoubleTree Hotel - on the modern side"
The hotel is clean and seemingly well run, but the modern motif is a bit too much for my wife and I. Towel racks in the bathroom didn't lend themselves to the architectural theme so they were apparently eliminated. The lamps, pictures, bed, kleenex boxes, etc. are designed to please the modern architect, not the customer, who is looking for comfort. […] This theme runs throughout the hotel, including the restaurant in the lobby. The room we got had the ugliest view we have ever seen - it was a roof with a/c units and other machinery with a wall behind it. I enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree Hotel in Jackson TN. I only had a couple of issues that I had to have addressed, but the staff came quickly and help in those areas. The first issue was the air condiction was not getting cold. I called guest service and they sent some one right away. He cleaned the filters, and added a fan in the room to help keep […] it cool. The next issue I had was the in room refridge was not cooling our water & juice. I called guest services, and within a few moments, a staff member was bring a different refridge. Arrived at the hotel at 3:40pm. They said the room was still being cleaned. Miraculously at 4pm, the room was available for check-in. Granted, check-in time was 4pm, but this is the first time EVER that I couldn't check-in a bit early and had to wait until the exact minute. Through hotels.com, reserved a non-smoking room. At check-in, received a smoking […] room. Couldn't change rooms because nothing else was available. "Executive floor - give it a pass"
At check in, the clerk told us about all the features of the executive floor, snacks, free breakfast sounded good. But, we were there on a Sunday, so no snacks. We had an early departure and missed breakfast. We asked if there was free coffee at least and were told "no". It would have been nice to at least give us the straight story.
