InterContinental Toronto Yorkville - Toronto

We love this hotel. It is quiet, intimate and full of caring staff. It's location is perfect, walking distance to excellent shopping and entertainment. On this visit we also got an unbelievable price. Whenever we visit Toronto we shall always look first at the Intercontinental Yorkville.

Forgot my brand new Calvin Klein pj atroome #307 when checked out on December 28, called and Matt(?) could not find it. Very distressing....

Very Clean, Very Comfortable, Expensive lounge, restaurant and parking.

Not a bad hotel. For so e reason though - forgot to clean our room..:( Next morning forgot t About our breakfast order on he door, as a result o We had breakfast an hour later than ordered Overall friendly staff, great location.

Excellent Hotel ! Great breakfast, workout facility, pool, updated, modern room. You can park yourself or valet. A great value and very pleasant stay if looking to stay uptown or near Yorkville.

Convenient location, walking distance to the subway station, great service and reasonable pricing. Definitely recommend for business travelers.

We had a pleasant stay, good staff and cleanliness, I, however, would not recommend the restaurant.

The hotel was very satisfactory except I had to ask twice to get my car retrieved from valet parking and the time to bring my car up was lengthy.

We stayed here for two nites before heading over to Niagara Falls. The hotel was clean and new looking, The staff at the hotel was very helpful especially the concierge. The neighborhood was perfect between Yorkville and the college area, restaurants all were pricey and we're from NY! The streets are clean. We didn't eat at the hotel, but had some drinks […] one nite. Nice courteous help. While walking around town, one of us had a camera strung around the neck and we often stopped with a map in our hands and passers by would stop and ask if we needed help. Very nice people in Canada. We parked in the municipal lot behind the hotel for the two days we were there. We left the car there from Friday afternoon till Sunday noon and it cost 38$. Before we went to Canada we saw an earlier review that said to park there and not use the hotel valet which is $35 per day. A pleasant stay. Pusateri deli had good bakery products. But we couldn't find good croissants. Trader Joes frozen chocolate are still the best. These people just can't seem to get it right with the flakiness and the butter. They're mostly bready, not pastry! Also did some shopping in Niagara Falls. Danier leathers. Great prices! 13% tax in canada! But good prices on leather! Lisez la suite

The InterContinental was a beautiful hotel. There is a vodka bar in the hotel that is popular with the locals and guests and the location of the hotel is right in the hip downtown area. If you forget a necessity there is also a convenience store next to the hotel. The staff was great! We did have to wait quite a while for our car at check-out time, […] but we did not mind. The concierge went above and beyond. He took the time to research diamond stores for us and then call me on my cell phone (which I asked him to do) while we were at the zoo to let us know what he found. Im not sure if all of the toronto hotels were such a great value, but I felt that I got more than my money's worth here. Lisez la suite

Good location; close to the best boutiques and museums. Helpful employees at reception.

My reservation paper was left at the front desk, and they found it and returned it to me very quickly. Smiles faces everywhere, I love that. Location is gorgeous! St. George Metro Station is one block away, about 3 minutes by walking. ROM is just on the opposite of the street, I can even see the dinosaur frame in the museum. My choice next time in […] Toronto. The only comments I have are that he room key I had was demagnetized & I found myself stuck to go to the front desk when I had left the room for ice & was not dressed to go to the lobby...the steam room was cold so I skipped it, had a short time to spend in the gym & spa & thought it should […] have being kept at a level that would allow it heating up in a short time Lisez la suite

The Intercontinental is perfect for an upscale weekend with the girls in TO. Right on Bloor, it's across the road from the city's biggest museum and close to Yorkville for premier shopping. Everything about the studio suite was perfect. Would book again without question.

What a beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the beds were heaven! The concierge recommended an amazing bistro for dinner and we were able to walk everywhere or go 1/2 block down to the subway stop. Luxurious stay for a great price through hotels.ca

Service was great. Room was big and clean. Only downside was the shower water was cool but the tub water was hot, something must not be hooked up right in that particular room. Great vegetarian sandwich at hotel restaurant. Very pleasant staff. Right across from Museums and block from subway.

This hotel is in such a great location if you plan on doing some shopping. The beds are amazing! It is very clean and well maintained. The restaurant wasn't the greatest.

CLOSE TO SHOPPING , MUSEUM , GREAT RESTAURANTS, ...... THIS HOTEL IS FABULOUS . SERVICE IS GREAT , ROOMS ARE CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL........ ONLY LIKE TO STAY AT THE INTERCONTINENTAL WHEN IN TORONTO...

I had a business meeting at a nearby hotel in the Yorkville area, but the rates there were CRAZY expensive. I managed to find a reasonable price on hotels.com at the InterContinental Hotel, and I was very pleased. The hotel is not brand new, but it is nice, clean, and the rooms are a little nicer than what I expected for the price paid. Excellent location. Great service. Clean rooms. Good relaxing breakfast. Accommodating employees.

We lived in Toronto for many years and returned this past weekend as tourists. The InterContinental Toronto Hotel in Yorkville helped to make our weekend very special. The hotel was in a perfect location for shopping, dining, walking to nearby destinations, or catching a subway or streetcar. The hotel itself was lovely and the room was large and comfortable. […] Staff were extremely accommodating and helped. We can't wait to come back. Was a very comfortable room and absolutely wonderful concierge service. Just a few minor disappointments -- had specifically reserved a 2-bed room but arrived to find they had none saved for us. They were kind enough to put us in a suite the first night to compensate then moved us into a 2-bed room the next day (and moved all our luggage for us while […] we were out exploring the city). Within 10 mins in the new room, we had to move again -- the sound of the subway below was incessant and we could even see things in the room moving. So off we went to a nice quiet room at the end of the hall on the 6th floor. That is, until 7am on Sat morning when construction began on the condos being built directly adjacent to our room. Other than that, the staff could not have been nicer -- even ordered a town car for us to the airport when we left (at the same price as a taxi). Location was pretty good, right across from the Royal Ontario Museum and the University and near two subway stops. And some great restaurants nearby. Lisez la suite

Room was fine, and service was very pleasant. But the front desk should not have told me that there were ice machines on all floors, as there was not one on mine. The kicker was ordering room service and being told they were out of orange juice. Uitstekend hotel in een plezierige omgeving met name voor de vrije tijd. Afstand tot het business district minder gunstig, al is het wel te lopen.

Δεν είχε parking. Με παρέπεμψαν σε δημοτικό parking, επί πληρωμή, εκτός ξενοδοχείου όπου δεν υπήρχε κανείς για φύλαξη του αυτοκινήτου. Το εν λόγω parking επικοινωνούσε με ασανσέρ με το lobby του ξενοδοχείου. Το ασανσέρ αυτό το χρησιμοποιούν και άνθρωποι άσχετοι προς το ξενοδοχείο, αφού έβγαινε παράλληλα και σε παρακείμενο δρόμο. Πήγα αργά, γύρω στα […] μεσάνυχτα και ένιωσα ιδιαίτερα ανασφαλής. Είχα συμφωνήσει και πληρώσει για μπουφέ πρωινού, το οποίο τελικά δεν διέθεταν. Υποχρεώθηκα σ' ένα φτωχό continental breakfast. Τα φώτα του δωματίου δεν λειτουργούσαν. Οι υπάλληλοι της υποδοχής δεν ήταν σε θέση να μου δώσουν επαρκή στοιχεία για αναζήτηση γειτονικών περιοχών. Το δωμάτιο ήταν επαρκώς καθαρό, άνετο και περιποιημένο, αλλά χωρίς θέα και ησυχία (ανέγερση παρακείμενης οικοδομής). Το ξενοδοχείο δεν έχει καμία σχέση με την ποιότητα που περιμένει κανείς από την αλυσσίδα των InterContinental. Αποτέλεσε για μένα μεγάλη δυσάρεστη έκπληξη και απογοήτευση. Lisez la suite
